PP MRP order consume fcst question

here is an example:CTO1 and CTO2 has the same structure(history reason)and we plan on both CTO
         CTO1    CTO2
fcst    100       100
after get orders:
         CTO1    CTO2
fcst    100       100
order   150       10
since CTO1 order will only conusme CTO1's fcst..how can CTO1 orders consume CTO1 fcst first and continue to consume CTO2's fcst once CTO1 fcst are less than CTO1 oder(CTO1 fcst < CTO1 order)
Not sure if we can make it in SAP...Pls feel free to bring your comments...thanks very much..

CTO1 and CTO2 are a configurable materials (super BOM)..and the customer require model(MTM) orders will consume the fcst on these configurable materials(63 strategy Planning w.plng material w/o mke-to-ord)..
for example,CTO1 have 10 building block(like,HD,SP..)BB1,BB2,..BB10 while cusotmer order may only require BB1,BB2..and this customer order will conusme the fcst on this CTO1's BB1,BB2 fcst...
         fcst
BB1   100
BB2   100
BB10  100
customer order arrive:require BB1 10,BB2 10
           fcst     order reserve
BB1     90         10
BB2     90          10
BB10  100
We will only plan on CTO(super BOM)..and orders have detailed requirements..
Not sure if I make u understand...
Now we plan on CTO1 and CTO2(CTO1 has the same BOM structure as CTO2)
if a customer order comes,we hope the order will consume the fcst on CTO1 first, then consume CTO2...

  • Purchase order - consumable purchasing

    Hi
we are creating purchase order for cosumable items such as papers, pens etc, it is asking us to enter plant, but actually we are not purchasing these items for any plant, is there any way we can avoid entering the plant in consumable purchase orders, can anyone help me with this,
    thanks,
    monica

    Hi Monica,
When you create a PO for purchasing any material (for instance you are procuring consumables such as paper or pen). Without plant, we can't do PO. The main purpose is, from where the PO is issued to certain vendor Or and at Which place (i mean Plant) the goods (i.e., goods ordered in PO) to be delivered by the Vendor physically.
For ordering consumables /Purchasing of Consumables,
    STEPS:
(As you said, the material is not for the Plant, but may be it for the Accounts or Administration department purpose, i am right...)
    then,
Use NLAG (Non stock material) Material type to create Paper /Pen as a Material
hence, the material is not updated by Quantity or by Value.
    Create a PO for Paper
Note: Plant is mandatory and without plant you can not create PO, cos it shows where you will receive the goods or where vendor should send the consumable goods physically, but cost incurred on that item purchase will be posted to Cost Center, which is a relevent one)
take Account Assignment Category : K    (Item Overview of PO doc.)
In Account Assignment Tab  :  (Item Details of PO doc.)
Enter G/L Account No.  :  .............?             you can get this from SAP FI
Enter Cost Center         :  .............?             you can get this from SAP CO
    Then SAVE it.
I think this will help you in solving your query...
    Have a good day,

  • Should PPDS orders consume capacity in the SNP Capacity view in 9ASNP94?

    Dear Gurus
Should PPDS orders consume capacity in the Capacity View in 9ASNP94?
We currently only use PPDS, but are looking to implement SNP for mid-range planning and S&OP.  I would like to demonstrate the simplicity of the capacity view in SNP, but the planned orders in PPDS do not consume the capacity of the Resource in the standard planning book/view SNP94(2).  We are using Single mixed production resources which I thought were suitable for both PPDS and SNP planning.  This is a particular concern because I would expect that the SNP and PPDS horizons will have to cross over and so PPDS and SNP will have to take into account the capacity consumed by orders in the other module.
    Any help will be appreciated!
    Elamobel

If you are using PDS you probably need this BADI:
Note 657185 - RTO: Sample code for calculating bucket consumptions 4.0
As standard only the continuous consumption is maintained in the PDS by the CIF, the bucket consumption (which is the SNP view of capacity) is missing.
Check the related notes too (especially 1462965)
If you are using PPMs you can just maintain the missing data directly

  • MRP order multiple and minimum order qty

    Hello
I am running MRP for one item with minimum stock level 20, in house qty 1, order multiple 12 and minimum order qty 20
the MRP return the figure 19 to order, when it should be 24 taking into account order multiple and minimum order qty...
    Could you explain me why
    we run SBO B1 2007 SP00 PL49

    Hi,
This is the definition of your questions:
Order Multiple u2013 you can set a multiplication factor for ordering the item e.g. in
case you define 5 in this field and14 items are required, the MRP will recommend to
order 15 items (3X5=15). If 18 items are required, the recommendation will be to
    order 20 items (4X5).
Minimum Order Qty u2013 you can type a minimum quantity for ordering items by the MRP.
The planning data is apply when there is a requirement (sales order, forecast, production orders (for the child item) and reserve invoice.

  • Sales order consuming current month forecast

    Hi All,
We are using weekly planning bucket in DP and weekly bucket in SNP. We are trying to release forecast in weekly bucket.
When forecast is getting released from DP to SNP it gets validity of one week. We would like to change forecast validity to one month.so any sales order within one month can consume the forecast.
Please let me know if its possible that slaes order should consume current month forecast only while releasing from DP to SNP?
any user exit we need to enhance for changing forecast validity to one month from one week?

    Hi,
We got an issue, sales order schdule line date is 10-12-2010 and its status is fully delivered now the business user wants to change the schedule line date to10-12-2009 as the user as entered wrong due to this it is showing in DP planning book as order received and invoice quantity.

  • Forecasting Based planning, consider incoming Sales orders, Consume PIR's

    Hello Guys:
I am in real Problem about this one: I am implementing forecast-based MRP for our client which is a trading company: buys, keeps in storage and sells goods (R/3 ECC 6). We are using material forecast on a monthly period, and run MRP on a weekly period since POs are to be created weekly (therefore we also use the "Splitting indicator" to split monthly forecast values to weekly requirements)
The way MRP calculates future stocks in this situation (MRP type VV) is like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    = Future stock
The problem with that one is that if there is an SD order or delivery in the future, SAP does not count in that one as well. It is a real problem, just imagine that in two weeks we have a forecast of 10 pieces of a material. SAP will propose Preqs based on this 10 piece consumption, even if we have an SD sales order for that week on 30 pieces. (by the way the SD order is in the list of MD05 but SAP does not count in that one for future stock reductions).
If I modify the MRP type in customizing OMDQ, I can make SAP to count in real consumptions (sales orders) in the future stocks: I set "MRP procedure" to PD (MRP) or "R1" (Time-phased materials planning). In this case MRP calculates like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    - Real future requirements (sales orders)
    = Future stock
So in this case SAP will recommend double quantities to purchase: once for the forecast reqs and on the other hand for the real sales orders.
It is a trap, SAP should reduce the forecast requirements with the real requirements. The really bad news is that there is a switch for this in OMDQ for the MRP types called "Reduce forecast" but it is not working: I have tried all the combinations of codes in the frame "Use forecast for MRP" but it can only decrease req for the current month and only on a timely basis code "2" for MRP procedure "PD" or "R1".
    Thanks for Help.
    Sweth123

    Hi Mario:
I am using MRP type PD , Running the forecast using MP30 which generate the forecast requirement.
I go to MD61 , I Slected Material Forecast option and Copied the forecast requirements as planned independent requirement,
AFter that when i run MD02 and go to MD04 Screen.
System Displays MRP Element: UnPlrq----Forecast quantity  --1000
MRP Element VSF for Planned Independent requirement -1000.
Based upon historical consumption data , if there ia requirement of 1000pc , system is proposing 2000 pcs to buy.
Is there any config setting i need to change so that system won't double the requirement quanitities?
    Please clarify
    Sweth.

  • Reciept element purchase requisition not appearing in  mrp order report

    Dear Gurus
Receipt element purchase requisition is not appearing when I am trying to see the order report after running the mrp for the finished product .But the reciept element planned order is appearing for the semifinished products which are in the bom of the finished product. And if stock for raw materials are there then also it is showing the reciept element stock. Why is this happening ?
    Regards
    Sandip Sarkar

    Unable to interpret your query.
Based on my guessing.... a PR is not visible for the Finished material as it must be a make material & if a planned order is showing up it means there is not enough stock to meet the demand. Now the dependent demand flows down from the finished to SFG & RM respectively & hence the supply proposal.
The above is a straight forward planning cycle flow, so what the issue am not able to figure it out. Either you upload some screenshots & paste the link here or provide a detailed explanation to get a clear understanding.

  • WHERE clause order ox execution question

I dont understand order of execution of a WHERE clause, using a complex database
I want to write a SELECT statement with the following condition
    ... WHERE ( branch = 'main' ) AND ( type = 1 ) OR ( charge -1 AND charge = 2 )
    My question is
<1> Can yoyu use parenthesis inside of a WHERE clause
<2> How would you write such a clause as above if you can not use parenthesis
    Thanks

Just to echo what everyone else is saying, of course parentheses are syntactically valid and can make a difference to the logic. In you example though,
    WHERE ( branch = 'main' ) AND ( type = 1 ) OR ( charge {noformat}<{noformat}> -1 AND charge <= 2 )is the same thing as
    WHERE ( branch = 'main' AND type = 1 ) OR ( charge {noformat}<{noformat}> -1 AND charge <= 2 )and even
WHERE branch = 'main' AND type = 1 OR charge {noformat}<{noformat}> -1 AND charge <= 2because AND takes precedence over OR. You can think of it as a "stronger" operator.
However I would not use the last version because it's ambiguous to anyone reading it, and code like that can easily hide bugs. I would also not use the first version because all those redundant brackets are just confusing, making it almost as hard to read (and therefore prone to bugs) as the last version.
btw I've changed your example because I know this forum can swallow *{noformat}<{noformat}>* (I've used {noformat} tags to preserve it).
I'm not sure if any of this affects order of execution (and if it does, your Oracle version will make a difference).

  • ISA sales order -  org determination question

    Hello All,
We have sales orders being created in CRM just fine using SAP GUI. The transaction type has a specific Org profile attached which has rule to determine the org unit, sales area, office, group based on sold to party's location.
Now for the same transaction type when the sales order is created from the WebShop it is not picking up the correct Org Determination profile(I think). The sales area comes out correctly but org unit, sales office, group are picked up incorrectly. The sales area is correct bcoz, may be the product catalog has the same sales area(Sales org/Dist Channel/division).
I am not sure what could be reason and if product catalog has any role to play on org determination profile for orders from WebShop? Is there any special configuration available for webshop specific org profile?
There is a difference of values org unit, sales office & group between orders created out of GUI vs WebShop. What could be the reason? Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Sunil,
You have to login to Shop Admin Web application. It should be found on the same server from where you are accessing ISA B2B/B2C
    http://<server>:<port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do
Login with User who has shop administration authorization in backend system.
After login click on existing shop you will get list of webshops define then click on your web shop and go to Transaction tab and check your Sales ORg, Distribution Chln, Division value.
Also check customer profile in bcakend system. Are you using B2B or B2C?

  • How to Forecast and run MRP for consumed materials

    Hi Experts,
I need help urgently on below business requirement.
Objective: Forecast consumable materials (like Gas , Chemical) to produce Finish product
    Scenario:
    1.  We have Plant WF01  - to produce finish products, Sales related activities, SOP for sales forecast, and production planning
      Production BOM Like below
Finish part (material used to make production, Sales, Shipment)
RAW  (Component used to make Finish Product)
    2. We have other plats with in same company for  GS01 - for GAS related materials, CH01 - For Chemical Related material
          - Material under GS01, CH01 does not have BOM
          - Gas and chemical material used during production process to make finish product
    Question:
              - How Can I forecast(to procure from external), how much GAS/Chemical required to meet future demand from SOP
              - How can I link SOP to forecast GAS and Chemicals because we don't want to base on historic usage
              - Please share best practices if any

    Hi All ,
Thank you for help. Understand we can use CBP for non BOM components planning.
But SAP has standard forecasting models(based on historic/trend/Seasonal etc.).
Can we define our own forecasting model to generate fore cast values.
    Ex:
    Based on history
Com1 - requires 100PC in Mar and 150 in Apr
But what we require is , We need to base on usage rate(to make finish product) and SOP forecast  to determine raw material forecast.
         i.e
SOP: FinishGoods 1000pc in Mar and 2000PC in Apr
based on SOP, I need raw material comp1  500PC in Mar and 1000PC in Apr
formula: Lets say Usage rate for Raw Comp1 is 0.5PC to produce 1PC of finish goods
                   Forecast: 0.5PC  * 1000PC = 500PC
                                   0.5PC  * 2000PC = 1000PC
Usage rate * Demand = Raw material forecast value
usage rate and demand are dynamic and can change.
Is there any way in SAP to determine forecast of components based on formula.
    Thank you.

  • Old Producer/Consumer Example question

how would I take this code, the old producer/consumer example, and make it for 2 consumers and 1 producer?
    basically, like this:
    Producer put 1

but then modify CubbyHole so that it checks that it has been consumed twice (as thats what you want, you said). Instead of using boolean available, use an integer flag that counts how many times its been consumed, and then reset the flag when it gets to 2. Something like that. Is this a college question? Do your homework. ha ha.

  • Mrp- order type

Hi, we defined 3 order types like zp01,zp02, zp03 for std orders, r&d orders, sample orders resp in one plant. In oppr we mentioned the conversion order type between planned order to zp01. incase of std orders, it can be converted into zp01 order type. Please advise incase of zp02 or zp03, how to tell the system to convert in zp02 and zp03 etc. I afraid otherwise all the mrp generated planned orders will be converted in zp01 only. Is there any setting for the same? Please advice.

    Hi ,
Assign the production order type in the MRP GROUP (T-CODE :OPPR) in the configuration , Crete the 3 separate MRP groups with order types ZP01, ZP02,ZP03 .
    For Ex :
    MRP GROUP     :   TES1 (Order Type :ZP01)
    MRP GROUP     :   TES2 (Order Type :ZP02)
    MRP GROUP     :   TES3 (Order Type :ZP03)
For those materials you want the Order ZP01 assign the MRP group TES1 , for ZP02 assign the MRP groups as TES2 and for the ZP03 assign the MRP group as TES3 in the MRP1 view of the material master .
In another case if you want to choose manually the order type at the time of Planned order conversion in to Production order Do not assign any order type in configuration of Plant Parameters (t code :OPPQ) and do not create any MRP groups .
Hope my answer will solve your issue...

  • Internet order for service questions

I placed a order to become a customer yesterday via internet. I recieved a email rite away giving me a order number but since then when I check order status it says it is still processing. While I was placing the order it said over nite shipping and had everything saying est delivery date 10/21. basically I have 2 questions!!!
1- because I recieved a order # via email and stuff does that mean I was approved for service?
2- why is it taking so long to process the order. I check online and it says your order is processing.but since I have to be home to sign for the package I am trying to know what day it is supposed to arrive.

Ordering over the web is not as quick as going into the store and getting service.
They have to physically get your device out of stock, process your phone number, package it and then send it out. You are not the only customer. It takes time.
You also must agree to the terms of service either via phone, email or text and there may be a credit check or hold.
    But Verizon will tell you.
    Just wait and be patient.
    Good Luck

  • Track Sales Order Fiori App - Question for % Shipped

I've a question about the percentage shipped for the items on the order.
If an item is under-shipped  (ie: Deliver 8/10) but there is not another schedule line for the order item, the percentage doesn't seem to be updated.
Percentage shipped only seems to be updated if the entire schedule line is shipped.  Is this by design or is this a bug?

    Hi Erin,
This is just FYI. This does not fix your issue but I just noticed you use old UI.
