Problem of h:selectOneMenu it is popping back to original value

I have a dataTable in which one column is a <h:selectOneMenu> and the required attribute is false.
There is a inputText in another column and the required attribute is true.
Whenever I change the <h:selectOne> option to null (that is blank option) from a string option and delete the inputText box value and click the submit button the
<h:selectOneMenu> jumps back to its original value though I placed the required to false and a required message for inputText box.
Required Message that pops out for inputText is expected but the <h:selectOneMenu> popping back is not desired. How can I avoid it.

Material weight changes back to original value

Hi, we have a scenario where a material's weight is changed to a new value. This is done by an incoming Idoc, that is processed by a background job.
The problem is, the material get this new value, but it is changed back to the old value immediatly.
In transaction mm03 and looking at the material, in Environment -> Display Changes, from the menu, I see the new value is written by the background job user. But at the same second in time, the material is updated back with the old value, by the same background user.
Any suggestions?

As u can c there are two entries in the Change screen, the second is created by the same user or different and also by which tcode is it created. My understanding is there is some additional process started when u are doing a change. Also try manually doing a change and c if it gets back the original value. If not then I think your Idoc is firing some parallel process which is geting executed. I don't think the same process is updating the material otherwise you would get only one entry.

Ultiboard v5.72 via code default back to original values – help please!

I’m prototyping a fairly simple double sided board. I’m using the internal single pass auto router. I’m quite happy to have vias in the design but they need to be fairly large. Consequently before beginning the auto router I modified via size 0 to be :
X1=40mil X2=40mil Y=80mil RAD=40mil Clear=40mil Drill=40mil ‘apply’
After entering the sizes I get a warning window “you have changed the via sizes – please verify your production class to achieve best (auto) routing
I then click on ‘ok’ to acknowledge the warning. The values I have changed at this moment are still the ones I chose. I then click auto route../..production class 4M and it begins to route but does not use the dimensions of the via code I modified, if fact when I interrogate the via sizes after the route is complete, they have defaulted back to the original values !!
Have I not set some parameter or sommat? Any help would be appreciated

I say this not to be a jerk, but I don't think your going to get any help on this. Even 3 years ago they were up to version 7..........as of todays date, its version 10.......and in a month or two it will be version 11.......I doubt there is any support for 5.72.
What does the help file say about drill hole and via diameters? Those archaic bitmap autorouters sucked big then, and still do. Since version 8 its vector based and a lot more robust. I would suggest you download the eval 10 and give that a whirl.....just a thought. I haven't used 5.72 in over 9 years......sorry I can't be of more help.

My page has a button that, when clicked, calls a Java function that sets a PageLegend and changes an image but then FireFox reloads the page switching everything back to original values. What's up?

This is happening with an ASP page. Not sure when it started, but the page used to work fine. The Java script is listed in the troubleshooting section. The button calls nextPic() which calls showPic(). After nextPic processes the page is reloaded.

I just updated to 4.0.1 and I get the "We're sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. We will try to open your tabs/windows when Firefox restarts" However, it just keeps popping back up, firefox never restarts!!!

This morning I had a popup on my Windows XP PC stating that the 4.0.1 update was available. I upgraded. now, i receive the following error: We're sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. But, firefox DOES NOT ever open. It just pops back up with that same report window, over and over.

Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
* Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

Before you do anything else, try charging via a wall outlet for a while, since its off. Then try turning it back on.
When you put the device into recovery mode it allows you to restore the device when no other options work. You do risk losing everything currently strored on the ipad itself. Hopefully you've performed regular backups either via itunes, icloud or both. Evern if you have synced content to either of those, you may not lose everything. All previous purchases have been saved in the itunes and app stores, so you can dowload them again.
while the ipad is off, press and hold the home button and plug the usb cord into the ipad. You should see a message pop up on the itunes window on your compoter screen that state it has discoverd an ipad in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore

I ran into the same problem, I think that, If you tab on a song that is on your IPOD, and the song data is grayed-out, I think it means that the song is probably twice on your IPOD and that the iTunes directory can not edit THAT song data for two (or more) files @once. Check if this is the case, sinceI have the same problem,am looking for a way to have One and the same song in more playlists but only keep the song once on the IPOD.

I trigger a dialog on mouse down event on one button which is located on my GUI. But after the user finished the dialog the button that invoked the dialog does not pop back. Is the button supposed to pop back automatically or am I supposed to programatically pop it back?

No, this will not help. In order for a latch action boolean to revert, it needs to be read by the code, i.e. be in the dataflow. If the terminal of the boolean is somewhere random on the diagram there is no garantee that it will get read after a press (e.g. If the terminal is outside the main while loop, it will be in the dataflow exactly once at the start of the program and then never again).
Why don't you attach a simplified version of your program so we can see where the problem is.

Loud Skype Box keeps popping back up

I don't know if I'm in the right place; Skype is a maze. I have this extremely loud SKYPE box regularly appearing on my computer screen EVERY THREE MINUTES. It has one word, "URGENT"; I have declined it every time. The problem is I can't mute it or move it; I can only Decline it. But it just pops back up again. My very few Skype contacts have said that it's not from them. How do I get rid of it permanently! The noise is extreme and I can't work at my computer because of it.

Well, in the end I contacted Apple and it was rather hit and miss but the problem was solved by deleteing the com.apple.mail.savedState file. It took them a bit of time to sort it out and I had to be promoted up the chain of support but it worked. Hope this is of use to others with the same problem,

Windows "pop back" to maximize when clicked, no resizing (compiz?)

I haven't seen this problem for a while and now it's back:
- Sometimes a window gets stuck fullscreen or maximized
- I can resize it with grid plugin but alt+mouse2 does not seem to work
- As soon as it gains focus, it pops back to take up the whole of the screen
- restarting the application does not change anything. Restarting compiz neighter
- this seems to happen randomly, with different applications - mostly ones I hardly use.
- behaviour stays buggy like that until I restart X or sometimes after closing the applications a few times, resizing, maximizing, clicking different stuff.
Using xfce4-panel, compiz, emerald, gtk. No window rules for automatic positioning / resizing.
Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks!

We've reached out to the Hotmail team and they've determined that this is a bug in their code. (It was masked by a timing issue in 3.5 that was fixed in 3.6.) We've worked with them to develop a fix but they may not have deployed it yet.

You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you sync with another iTunes library/computer the media from the iPod will be deleted and replaced with the media on the second computer.
If you want to change syncing computers then:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
