Rebate Agreement Scenario

Greetings all,
I am planning to implement Rebate agreement in our system.
There is a scenario that one customer is calculated in over lapse period,
One for quarterly period and another in annually period.
For example, sales for customer A will have rebate 2.5% for minimum 300 tonages/quarter, but if one achieves 1200 tonages/year, there will be another rebate 1.5%.
Such scenario, is it possible using standard rebate in SAP?

It is possible.. Just think about this way.. You create 5 rebate agreement.. No1 is valid from 1 Jan to 31 Mar, No2 is from 1 Apr to 30 Jun, No3 is from Jul to Sep, No4 is from Oct to Dec and No5 is valid from 1 Jan to 31 Dec..
Condition in No1 to No4 is set to 0299->0 and 300 ->2.5%.. You settle No1 at Q1 end, No2 at Q2 end.....
Condition in No5 is set to 01199->0 and 1200 ->1.5% and you settle No5 at year end..

    We have a requirement of creating Rebate Agreement and maintaining the conditions in the same.
    When we create an order (in R3 or CRM) the values has to be populated from the rebate agreement.
    Scenario A:
    The setup of rebate is completed in R3, we have downloaded the conditions from R3 to CRM and when we are creating the order in CRM the rebates are not getting recognized. Upon analysis we found that we have to download the rebate agreements too and the respective object is REBATE_DNL_AGR.
    (Rebates are working fine for Pricing in R3.)
    Scenario B:
    We have tried an workaround of creating rebate agreements in CRM and uploading them to R3, object used is REBATE_AGRMNTS but no success.
    (In this case rebates are working fine for Pricing in CRM.)
    We are facing issues in replicating the Rebate agreements from CRM to R3 and vice versa.
    When we do the initial load R3AS of below objects, they are not progressing and not appearing in queues too. Status is always running
    CRM to R3 for rebate agreement – REBATE_AGRMNTS
    R3 to CRM  for rebate agreement - REBATE_DNL_AGR

    Did you achieve scenario B ?. You also mentioned that for scenario B , it works fine with pricing in CRM. Was the billing happening in CRM or ECC in that case ?.
    Did the scenario A worked ?.

  • Accruals not updated for Changed Rebate agreement when VBOF  performed.

    Hi Pals,
    Need your assistance in solving an incident  . our client has changed the  valid to date  of the  rebate agreement on 29.04.2014  in VBO2  from 28.02.1014 to 31.12.2014, later it was observed that  the rebate accruals for the blling documents generated after 28.02.104 to till date were not updated even after running the report VBOF. There are 15000 invoices after 29.04.2014 , hence it is difficult to check which invoices carries my rebate condition type.
    hence pls advice on
    1. how to find out the invoices for the changed agreement .
    2. How to update the accruals for the invoices that were created after  28.02.2014 to till date.
    An early reply would be highly appreciated.

    Dear krishna
    i tried your scenario--so after changing the validity for my Material rebate agreement type--i ran VBOF(SDBONT06)--so system has shown the updated billing doc with rebate which was not having any rebate condition earlier.
    Have you tried by retrieving all the billing docs created after service render date of 28th Feb14.
    Please take all the billing docs created after this date from VBRK table and you check some random billings docs whether rebate condition type is active with condition record or not.
    (other wise you try with by executing condition record numbers in KONV(doc condition number--then followed by VBRK)

    Hi Friends,
    I need to use vendor hierarchy in vendor rebates agreements.
    Here are some inputs from my end so far I have done:
    Customizing Settings for vendor hierarchy and rebate agreement (agreement type 3000 and condition types A003/ A004) have been done.
    While creating the PO after creating rebate agreement (MEB1) I am able to see all higher partner functions (2A,2B,2C,2D) at header level in PO under partners.
    I have (say ) 3 vendors V1, V2, V3 (V1 being highest) set up in vendor hierarchy (MKH1).
    My requirement is; if my company make any rebate agreement with vendor at any node below the highest in the vendor hierarchy then that business volume should be taken in consideration for rebate purpose with the vendor at higher level while making any agreement with him.
    I request you to please let me know how to set up this.

    I believe I have not misunderstood the business scenario.
    But may I request you to tell me the process steps for the senario you told which is "Normally , you define condition with highest node in hierachy and then you can refer to it when you do biz with the lower nodes". How vendor rebate process takes place this scenarion (I mean process flow).
    This might help me to find some solution further.
    More input from my end:
    When I am creating the PO against a vendor included in the vendor hierarchy(after agreement), rabate condiion A003  or A004 is not appearing in pricing and hence during BV comparison,system does not find any data to update.

    We have prepared the report using rebate tables and achieved the results but we missed below one logic here.i.e.
    Business want to maintain the rebate accruals condition records for few customers accounts in the rebate agreement although it’s not related to rebate receipts account.
    Example: rebate agreement: 20000
    Rebate receipt: 123456 (Payer account)
    Rebate condition records
         1)    Customer & material combination – customer # 1000 and material # ABC – 5.0 % - appearing the reports –Status : Working appearing the reports Customer # 1000 Payer is -123456
    2)       Customer # 9999 and material # ZXY – 5.0% - Not appearing the report – Status: Failed
    Customer # 9999 is Payer – 88888 – both accounts are don’t have any PF relationship with rebate receipts # 123456
    When Rebate Condition records are maintaining for Rebate receipt related to customer (SP) account & material combination level in this scenario – Reports working fine .However, few scenarios like business need to maintain rebate accrual condition records for other payer customer accounts in the same agreement in this scenario – Reports is not pulling the invoice accruals due to logic missing our early logic given based on the rebate recipient customer level. I am excepting a technical logic with functional details in this.
    Could you please help me.

    Proposal:
    Setup your rebate condition as amount = 0 and accruals = $
    The system will do the accounting movements for the accruals as usual
    When doing the final settlement in SD, nothing will be credited to the customer as the rebate condition is zero BUT the accruals will be reversed (as usual when doing the final settlement).
    That should work because it is standard SAP logic.
    On the other hand, it is a pity not to be able to credit the customer if you already have the rebate agreement created in the system.
    Are you 100% positive about this legal issue in your business environment?
    I did a few rebate projects in FMCG and it is standard practice to send credit memo to the rebate recipient: The Customer (Payer in SAP).
    Nobody ever said it was a problem, because practically speaking it is just one more credit note to the same customer that was invoiced beforehand!

  • Report on Rebate agreement

    Hi all
           I have a scenario as below.
    SAP R/3 Rebate Functionality is not Enabled in my client. They process the Manual rebate settlement till now.
    Now, they are about to implement the complete rebate functionlity ( B1, B2 , B3) documents for Final settlement, partial etc.
    Can some one help me in creating a Custom report with all the below details.
    Rebate agreement,date,customer,Invoice,B1,B2,B3..... the SAP rebate report is Material specific and it doesn't deal at customer & Document level.
    I tried to get details from KONV,S030,S060 but in vain. I would like to know if someone has already done this and would be better if you hint me with all table links.

      Thanks for the valuable info. I was able to get all details except the following.
    1. Rebate Accrual Reversed.
    2. Partial settlement Amount.
        I believe these details are part of Payment data in rebate Item level and found in KONPD-strucuture.
    KONPD-RRWRT
    KONPD-AUWRT.
    Is there a way to get data from this also? Your help is highgly appreciated and very welcome.

  • Rebate Agreement Sales Volume

    Dear All,
    We have a strange issue in Rebate Agreements.
    When we Open Rebate Agreement in Change Mode and click on Sales Volume Button ( Shift F5) then it navigates to Sales Volume Screen. Now if we change the Agreement Status to B ( Agreement Released for Settlement) on the Initial screen and then go to Sales Volume Screen then at the top of the screen their is a Information which says
    There are messages
    This Information message is not shown for all rebate agreeements. It is getting shown only for few agreements which we do not have any clue as to why it is happening?
    Can any one throw some light on What does this Message " There are messages" means? Because on that screen their is no option to check what messages the system is referring to.
    Also in which scenarios this occurs?

    When you rebuild the rebate index table VBOX all agreement conditions will be set to retroactive again. I guess someone has run RV15B001 on your system in the meantime ? 
    The "Sales Volume is not current" message is issued when the rebate condition is flagged as retroactive (KONP-KSPAE) SDBONT06 resets that when it has completed a successful update
    So just run SDBONT06 again, all of you 93 agreements are updated so the report will only reset the KONP-KSPAE field on the conditions in that case.

  • Rebate Agreement (VBOF)

    Hello Experts,
    I have a standard Rebate Scenario. I have Rebate Agreement created for a recepient.
    I also have some invoices for the same. But when I check Invoices they are not updated with the Rebate Conditions.
    When I tried to run VBOF it did not give any results for the Invoices updated but when I looked into the Invioce the Condition was updated. Then I tried to look into the Rebate Agreement for the Varification Level I can see the condition recored created for % discount but I cannot see the Invoice listed.
    When I tried to create the another Test Case for the same I am continuously getting the error as "The sales volume for agreement XXX is not current"
    Then I put some value manually in the "accrual to post" it allowed to create the Credit Note for Settlements.
    Could sombody please guide on the same? What could have I missed?

    First of all run the report SDBONT06.After running the report then check wheather it is getting updated or not.Secondly also check in the rebate agreement what is the validity end period.While running VBOF give the validity period which is there in the rebate agreement.

    I am facing a problem in configuration of the Scenario..
    Can any one help me
    Scenario 1:
    The business wants the average net sales to be a controlling factor for the rebate program. The business will pay the rebate to the customer only when the customer purchases a certain specified quantity of product at a certain specified price. If the customer purchases it at a lower price, the business will not provide any rebate to the customer, even though the customer has achieved the specified quantity.  
    Scenario 2:
    The business wants to have the scenario like for the distribution channel, customer, Product hierarchy, if the customer purchases anything from any product hierarchy, anything more than 6 ton will get a rebate of 2 THB. For purchase between 6 ton to 10 ton, the rebate will be 3 THB; for 10 ton to 20 ton, 8 THB and from 20 ton tol 30 ton, 10 THB and for which the SO date is from 1-31 and billing date from 1-31. So how can i maintain the rebate Scale so that the scenario can work..

    I want to use customer hierarchy for customer rebates where in the accrual rate with scales shall be maintained only the high level customer. Invoice values of all the subordinate customers should e accrued using this rebate agreement.
    Have learnt about extended rebate agreement functionality wherein such a scenario can be adopted.
    Looking for a solution immediately to meet the week end deadline for POC.

    In this case my rebate receiptant is one only.
    I am trying to use a customer hierarchy node (scaled down customer code w/o partners, recon account etc.) and made it relevant for Rebates & Price determination.
    All the customers in the hierarchy are also relevant for Rebates.
    But the condition record maintained with hierarchy node is not getting picked up the billing document as system is looking for the subordinate payer instead of the hierarchy node.
    Not using the same node as Rebate Receiptant.  Incase of using wrt the below link, am getting error as "Customer for function PY may not have account group 0012".

  • Rebate Agreement against Payer (HeadOffice)

    Dear Experts,
    I have a scenario where one of my customer is having several branches and one head office. I customer master against each branch customer we have maintained the main customer number in Head office field and sort key as '004'.
    The head office acts as the payer where as branch customers are maintained as Bill to Party.
    We need to create a rebate against the head office so that when ever a new SO is created against any of the branch customer the rebate agreement should flow.
    Please let me know what should be configuration changes to be made.

    Hi Ranjit,
    In Customer Master, at company code data view you would have assigned main customer in head office field, the one use of this assignment is, @ SD- billing would have created for branch office, but system will allow collections only under head office, this assignment is for FI related activites.
    For sales and distribution discounts and rebates to flow from head office assignement to branch office, then you need to create customer hierarchy in sales and distribution (under TCODE VDH1N and VDH2N).
    then create discounts and rebate for Head office, that will automatically flow to branch office customer transactions.
    There is a separate account group exist to create head office and under which we can assign sold-to-party as branch office.

    In our organization we want to implement rebate agreements with a scenario that is described in the example below:
    A material with Gross Price (PBXX) of 10 ILS.
    Material rebate % (A002) is 10%
    Non-Deductible Tax (NAVS) is 18%.
    We would expect the actual price of material in case of rebate to be 10.62 ILS (10*0.9*1.18) as in the following example (presented below with condition type RA00).
    But when using the actual 'A002' condition type, we receive the following calculation that brings the actual price to 10.80 ILS (10*0.9+10*0.18)
    How can we 'force' the "RA00" to behave like condition type "A002"?

    I'm rephrasing my last question in order to emphasize the problem.
    The desired situation is as follows:
    A material with Gross Price (PBXX) of 10,000 ILS.
    Material rebate % (A002) is 10%
    Net price: 9,000
    Non-Deductible Tax (NAVS) is 1,620 ILS (18%X 9,000)
    Actual expected price: 10,620 ILS (9,000 + 1,620).
    Now... no matter how I change the calculation schema in PO, I always get:
    Gross Price (PBXX) of 10,000 ILS.
    Material rebate % (A002) is 10%
    Net price: 9,000
    Non-Deductible Tax (NAVS) is 1,800 ILS (18%X 10,000)
    Actual price: 10,800 ILS (9,000 + 1,800).
    That means that the system always calculates the NAVS based on the Gross price, and does not take under consideration the rebate %.
    While looking on the schema I've noticed that the A001 and A002 condition types don't allow inserting a value in the field To reference step (for percentages) (I've marked it with a red frame).
    Is it possible that this is the reason why the rebate condition behaves differently and is not being considered on the price calculation?
    Or in other words: how can I have the A001-2 conditions to be considered in the NAVS calculation?

    We have a scenario, to accomodate on Rebage agreement type for multiple company codes,
    and to do the settlement for the billing documents created in these multiple company codes.
    I think it is a standard processes, but how to execute this to get the results,pls suggest.

    Further to the issue I would like to clarify couple of other issues related to
    the processing of one Rebate agreement for multiple company codes.
    1. This is a client requirement, which need to be addressed through
    enhancements since standard possibility is ruled out, we have tried with this scenario but sales area is a mandatory entry while creating the agreement type (Tcode-VBO1).
    2.  If it is feasible could you please provide the configuration steps for the scenario or any enhancements related to this scenario for implementing.
    Kindly explain what do you mean by IMHO?

    We are in process of Implementing CRM 2007. ECC 6.0 is already in place. Our business scenario is that FI Credit memo is generated in CRM and the accounting document will be created in ECC.
    We need to create a Rebate Agreement Shell in ECC. While creating the Rebate Agreement, it is Mandatory to put the Final Settlement Document Type. But we donot need to createa final settlement in ECC since FI credit Memo is being created in CRM.
    Can you pl help in this scenario as to how to bypass this situation ( Final Settlement document type) in Rebate agreement.

    My client has the following business scenario: An agreement with the supplier for entire company code, which includes several purchasing organizations. The discount is given based on the purchases done through all purchasing organizations.
    How do we handle this? Do we create the same agreement for each purchasing organization? If so, what is the condition base value? Will SAP cumulate the PO's created for this vendor in all company?

    I will give you further details so that you understand the problem. We are using Vendor rebate agreements, pricing procedure RM5000, and rebate type 1000.
    When creating a rebate agreement  (with MEB1), I must specify a purchasing organization, but the vendor gives a rebate for purchases from all purchasing organizations in the company. Do we create a rebate agreement for each purch. organization? How does SAP calculates targeted business volume?
