Reg. No G/L account assign in simulation entry

Dear Experts
I configured Account assignment,After that I checked in OMWB -Simulation ,the PK Acct.Dr and PK Acct Cr. is missing for all account like inventory,Gain/Loss etc..
Where I have missed to assign the G/L account fo come in OMWB Simulation check. Pls advise as soon as possible
In OBYC I configured all required accounts. then where to assign too.

    If you created an unplanned service PO, did you designate an account assignment on the PO or did you mark with an unknown account assignment?  The other question I would have is whether you marked your PO as service based invoice verification?  The answer to these questions may help me provide a more accurate response.
    From my perspective, the process within the service entry sheet would not matter if you do the one line item versus the two line items.  Ultimately the question would be how the AP processor would see the information when they process the invoice through MIRO (e.g. will they see one line or two).  If you are not using service based invoice verification, then the two options you should provide the same result (e.g. one line item on the MIRO screen).

    Hello,
    Chart of Account is a list of GL accounts. One COA can be assigned to n no of co codes. SAP has provided 3 types of COA. 1.Operate COA 2.Country COA 3. Group COA.
    After created COA you should assign in the following path:
    Spro>FA>GL a/cing>GL a/cs>Master data>Preparations>Assign co code to COA.
    In OB62, you have the option assign co code to country COA.
    In your case, you please assign ur COA-NCCA to your co code in the above mentioned path.

    I got a requirment to make a new entry in below SPRO path.
    Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category
    *Individual entries cannot be put into the change request*
    *Message no. SV141*
    *Diagnosis*
    *For technical reasons, the entries cannot be fully specified in the change request. There are two possible reasons for this:*
    *1. The key of an entry is longer than 120 characters. All entries whose keys match up to character 119, are then copied into the change request, rather than an individual entry.*
    *2. The key of an entry contains fields of special data types, for example, packed numbers. The key can only be specified in the change request up to the first such field from the left.*
    *all entries whose keys match up to character 26 are copied into the change request, rather than a single entry.*
    *System Response*
    *The selected entry is copied into the change request correctly, but other entries may be copied as well.*
    My question is, If I make one entry and move to Quality and production system will it move only one entry or whole table will move?

    I got the same message trying to make an entry in SPRO:
    Define Backend System for Product Category
    I found the note 305942 describing exactly the issue for my and above mentioned entry, which offers the correction, then the note 326802 which offers the correction of the first notes. However, both notes are for Releases 4.6C and D (from 2000), and we are using EHP2 FOR SAP SRM 7.0.
    I see another discussions in SCN regarding this topic, but haven't found real solution yet. Any hints? At least the answer to previous question from Sharan would be appreciated.

  • Account assignment for clearing lines

    Hello,
    My client business need the derivation tool to overwrite the commitment item for the clearing account lines (operation WRX) instead of being inherited from the predecessor PO.
    Therefore, as specified in sap note 923672, I activated the predelivered parameter FLG_FMDERIVE_FORCE in table FM01X. Unfortunately the results were not as I expected. Although it shows in the derivation trace that the commitment item is overwritten for the clearing account, this does not match with the FI doc.
    Have anyone ever used this feature? Do anyone know why this is happening?

    Same problem has been reported in the OSS, (probably by you?).
    Depending on the release and support package customers are working on, these notes should solve the problem, some of them are also for overwriting PO account assignment in Service Entry Sheets:
    977363  New manual FM account assignment incorrectly overwritten --> (specially this one)
    1041730 FM Account Assignments objects are not correctly determined
    1077529 RFFMCHAT incorrectly calls FMDERIVE instead of reassignment

    what is the account assignment u r using
    if u use a material PR and account assignment as K then its consumption a/c will come automatically from OBYC.
    G/L a/c will depend on the account assignment u r using

    Whenever i am creating Purchase Order with accunt assignment(K) without material number , system is selecting one G/L account automatically,I know the G/L account selection with material number but i don't know the G/L acount selection without material master.

    Selection of GL account is through consumption posting specified in account assignment category configuration and material group - valuation class link.
    Check in OMQW - valuation class assigned to material group in use.
    Check account assignment category K attributes in IMG - MM - Purchasing - account assignment category - define account assignment cateogies - K - consumption posting (say VBR).
    Now check for valuation class - GL account assigned in OBYC - GBB -VBR, it will be defaulted when you use K and material group combination in PO.
    However you can overwrite this GL account whenever you require.

    I have created PO doc type as ZCAP (for Capital items).whenever we select this doc type we have to select account assignment "A" in Acc.*** Category field in PO line item.As it is manual entry, user (by mistake) is giving "K" instead of "A".
    My question how can i make "A" as default to doc type ZCAP.so that whenever we select ZCAP, automatically acc.assign "A" should come and all other account  assignment categories should be deleted.
    plz suggest me some way.

    There is no standard configuration to control the account assignment with Purchase order document type. Purchase order document type is an header level control where as the account assignment is Item level comtrol.
    You need to use Badi to control the account assignemnt category at PO line item level with reference to the PO document type.

    I have noticed that "Acct.Assgn.Category as N, in the Proc.paramers.
    But when i have noticed Acct.Assg.cat as F  for a Semi Finished Material(E-1517) in IDES.
    I need clarification that, where we will configure the integration with the material types and acct.Assg. Category.
    How the flow takes place in this contest.

    The account assignment category determines:
    •The nature of the account assignment (cost center, sales order, and so on)
    •Which accounts are to be charged when the incoming invoice or goods receipt is posted
    •Which account assignment data you must provide
    Please check the account assignment category in OPTT transaction.
    In your ides,the acount assignment category for Acct. Assign. Gen. must be'' F''. Check in your other system also.

    Hi,
    It is understood that you have assigned the G/L account in VKOA; but not traceable in the sales order. In VKOA, if you selected the first combination, check for 1. Condition type for account determination [KOFI or KOFK], 2. Account assignment group for customer, 3. Account assignment group for material.
    KOFI is for account determination; whereas KOFK is for account determination with CO.
    The account assignment group assigned in VKOA should match with the Customer and material used in sales order.
    After creating the sales order, you can check the account assignment. Display the document; Goto environment  >> Analysis >> Account determination. Click on the u2018condition typeu2019 to see whether the GL account is determined or not. Click on the access to check how the G/L account is determined.

    1) value and qty updation tick for the relevant plant in the material type config.
    Logistics - General - Material Master ->> Basic Settings ->> Material Types ->> Define Attributes of Material Types ->> Select material type ->>  Click on Quantity/value updating.
    Check whether tick is set for the relevant plant. If not, set it.

    Hi Raja,
    There are account assignment categories like K-Cost center,F-Order etc which we need to assign while creating a purchase order.If the material is purchased for a cost center then account assignment category is K, then system asks you to enter the cost center.
    If the purchase requisition is created from a production order from MRP the account assigment category automatically set by the system to F and the account assinment is done to the production order. We no need to enter any data.This is applicable for make to order sales order driven requirements also.

    While posting an asset acquisition through F-90 by entering Business area, doc.type AA,TT-100,PK-70, i am getting the error messege AA483 - "Account assignment not possible (Asset not assigned to a business area)".
    I have correctly created asset master and assigned Business area and Cost centre.
    And i am not getting any problem in another company code for same asset class.

    Assets are assigned to a single business area in their master record. Every posting to an asset balance sheet account is automatically posted to that business area. The business area for an asset is passed on to all line items connected with the asset. Therefore you do not need to make a manual account assignment for a business area at any point.

    Hi all,
    We are having a service order dependent PO wherein the account assignment category is service order and is automatically generated..
    Now when we are going GR(MIGO), system is posting to only one G/L which is linked to the service order. I have created one more condition in the PO (handling charges) and it should go to a different G/L. How do I configure this. Please treat this as most urgent.
    Whatever is configured in automatic posting (OBYC, OMWB ) etc. is not applicable for  account assigned PO. What to do?

    I created a PO (only 1 material in it), and after that I did a GR goods receipt in MIGO for this.
    Movement type: 101
    When I did this the accounting lines looks like that:

    I run the transaction OMWB, and did a simulation, and it ok:

    GR/IR clearing account          0002            SEVV  86 29700000    96 29700000 
    So the MIGO 101 movement type for GR goods receipt did a BSX (Stock posting) and a WRX (GR/IR clearing) accounting.
    I need the following:
    If I do a MIGO with 101 movement (GR goods receipt), not just this 2 accounting line created, but I need +4 additional line (these lines are special taxes).
    So if I do a MIGO I have to see:
    1 89 21411000   Vás. villamosenergia      XXXX...........................3.000.000
    2 96 29700000   Tech.acct.purch.stoc  450000012800010 ..3.000.000-

    Hi,
    In 1st case, you have entry in Goods Receipt of inventory value debited(3.000.000 +) and GR/IR clearing(3.000.000 -). As all value flow from purchase order which with NET VALUE with pricing elements( condition type/types).
    As in 2nd case you wanted.....with addition of above accounting entries, extra 4 lines needed but what are the two amounts represents ( 1.500.000 &   750.000)?
    If so needed you should have two extra condition types in PO for amount representing 1.500.000 &   750.000.The condition types must be there in MM pricing procedure in M/08, maintain the  account keys  with a accrual key for each condition type. For condition types for both in M/06 , maintain condition category is must( do not keep blank, keep as B)& also select accrual check box in control data.In OBYC, maintain the  two different G/L accounts for two  accrual keys.
    Also activate the Purchase account management in the Company code in following path:
    SPRO> Materials Management> Valuation and Account Assignment> Account Determination> Account Determination Without Wizard> Purchase Account Management> Activate Purchase Account in Company Code
    After above setting, Create a PO and do goods receipt and check accounting entries.
