Regarding the OSB Project WSDL Response

Hi i have developed a service in eclipse with XQuery , while testing this service in soap ui i am not getting the WSDL response .can u plase any one help me on this it's very urgent...................

Does your operation have response tag ?
Check your WSDL file that you used to create OSB service, to see whether the operation that you have used is having request and response tags and messages configured to it.
Otherwise you can share your WSDL file here.
Thanks,

  • OSB and WSDL response message

    Hi all,
from the WSDL, that I put at bottom of this post, I've created a new OSB project importing the WSDL itself and creating a proxy service based on it.
I've implemented it using the fn-bea:execute-sql function:
    <ctx:route><ctx:service>{
    fn-bea:execute-sql (
    $myDataSource,
    'resultset',
    'SELECT id, name, type_id, domi_country_id, open_date, close_date FROM myTable WHERE id=?',
    xs:string($body/urn:clientDataLookup/portfolioNumber/text())
    }</ctx:service></ctx:route>
For getting the response, in the pipeline reponse I added a REPLACE action:
    Replace [ node contents ] of [ . ]
    in [ body ] with
    [ <urn:clientDataLookupResponse>
    <xmlCntent>{ $result/con:service/resultset }</xmlCntent>
    </urn:clientDataLookupResponse>
I deduced the above xml response message using the OSB xquery wizard navigating through variable structure section and selecting $body - clientDataLookup (response) variable:
    $body/urn:clientDataLookupResponse/xmlCntent
from that xpath expression I deduced the above xml response message.
My question: is that approach correct ? Why should I rewrite the xml response message ?
I'm wondering how to allow OSB to generate the correct xml response message in automatic way and then use it as template and fill only the xmlCntent param.
    Thanks in advance

In most common use cases a service bus transforms the messages from one format to other. In your case you are actually doing the same. You are transforming the message from database structure to the structure which is defined by the WSDL. The snippet you are using is not XML, its an XQuery snippet. There is nothing unusual about it. The tree structure in the left side is given for that purpose only, to facilitate writing XPaths and XQuery snippets. If you do not want to type anything and want to get it graphically (or example when its a big XML), use Eclipse IDE of OSB and create a XQuery transformation which you can call from OSB message flow.

  • How to define the OSB Configuration Project that an OSB Project uses?

    Hello,
I'm using the Workshop bundled with "Oracle Service Bus 10gR1" (Oracle Workshop for WebLogic, Version: 10.3, Build id: 1137967).
Where does one define the OSB Configuration Project that an OSB Project should use?
I deleted an OSB Configuration Project. Now, all the OSB projects that were associated with it are in error stating "This project is not associated with an Oracle Service Bus Configuration". I created a new OSB configuration project so that I may re-associate the "orphan" projects with it. However, I can't seem to find a way to do that.

You can create a new osb configuration project and drag the other osb projects on this projects.
then i will link them to it. (make sure you use the oracle service bus perspective at the top right of the eclipse ide)

  • How to create a new Oracle OSB project automaticaly with script without IDE

    Hello,
I want to create automatically an "Oracle service bus project" and an "Oracle service bus configuration project" with scripts (ANT or Maven or ...) without using IDE, without using workshop or Eclipse. I want to create automatically (ANT or Maven) just a skeleton of an OSB project witch i can use after in workshop.
I want to create 1 "Oracle service bus configuration project" with many "Oracle service bus project" automatically (ANT or Maven or scripts) witch i can use after in workshop. How to create a new Oracle OSB project automaticaly with script without IDE ? How can i do this ?
I'm using Oracle service bus 10.3.1
    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you for your response,
I do not want to just create the services (proxy services and business services) but I want to create a template for 40 OSB project with the same scripts ANT/Maven.
Template="Oracle service bus configuration project" + "Oracle service bus project" + services of 40 OSB projects
The goal is that I have more than 40 projects to create and just the name of the projects that changes (when I say the name of the project ie the name of the OSB project, the name of proxy services and the name of business services ).
So I want to give my script (ANT/Maven) the name of 40 OSB project and the script must generate the skeleton of the 40 projects at once time and after generation of skeleton of the 40 project, I will import them in the workshop to add manually mapping and routing and other things that differs from one project to another.
So i want to generate automatically a skeletons of 40 OSB projects using a script (ANT / Maven) and I give to the script juste the names of the 40 projects.
I want to create a "Oracle service bus configuration project" and "Oracle service bus project" automatically of 40 OSB projects (ANT or Maven or scripts) witch i can use after in workshop.
I want to create one 'template' of all 40 projects in the same time, with the same directory structure (Transforlation, Business services, proxy services, WSDL .....) and all 40 project have the same transport, just the names of projects and services witch changes and i can give to the script all names of projects and services and i can give also all WSDL.

  • Accessing MDS resources within OSB projects

    Hi there,
We are planning to share (Schemas, WSDLs) through MDS across the enterprise however don't see any option to refer those resources while creating OSB project. Just wondering if there is any alternative. We can use URLs for the WSDL and schemas while creating the OSB project however tool appears to make a local copy of resource. Wondering if I can get some thoughts around that so we can dynamically refer to WSDLs and schemas in shared resource.
Just wondering if there is a way to have centrilized MDS at some XYZ host name and access it through host URL of some pattern?
    Thanks

OSB needs the WSDLs and Schemas of Proxy and Business Services to be saved as OSB resources on OSB server. Which means even if you have the WSDL in MDS or any other centralized location you will still need to save a copy of the same as an OSB resource before you can use it to create Proxy/Business services.

  • How to create the OSB artifacts in JDeveloper

The docs I've seen get me a little closer in being able to test the DB and AQ Adapters on the OSB, but it really does not help me understand how to do it through JDeveloper.
In the past we have done all of the OSB development in Eclipse and then imported it into the OSB.
Again, the docs I've seen shows how to do the Adapter configuration in JDeveloper and then how to create the Business Services and Proxy Services directly in the OSB console.
But I need to know how to create the OSB artifacts in JDeveloper then import them into the OSB or if this is even possible. I know there is an optional Eclipse component that you can install with OSB. Will we have to use both tools? (e.g. Eclipse for the OSB components and then JDev for the Adapters.)
    Anyone have clarification?

Again, the docs I've seen shows how to do the Adapter configuration in JDeveloper and then how to create the Business Services and Proxy Services directly in the OSB console.WSDL/Binding generation is required to be done in JDEV. OEPE/Workshop doesn't have these adapter plugins to generate WSDL and Bindings. Once the WSDL/Binding are generated you can either use sbconsole or OEPE/workshop for your usual development.
But I need to know how to create the OSB artifacts in JDeveloper then import them into the OSB or if this is even possible. There are no OSB artifacts that need development in JDEV. As you are aware the oracle adapters exposes back-end functionality in XML interface. This XML interface is modeled by WSDL. For adapters to work we need the WSDL and corresponding binding. Since OSB JCA transport uses adapters, we are required to provide these components.
Will we have to use both tools? For any services that are using JCA adapters, we need to use both (JDEV and (sbconsole or OEPE) ).
IF your services doesn't have to use JCA adapters then JDEV is not required.
Let me know if you have any questions.

  • Ehcache config in osb project

    Hi All,
I'm working on osb 11.1.1.5 version.I have configured Ehcache 2.5.2 version and created java class in the eclipse environment.I created ehcache.xml file and placed it in my application class path, added all ehcache related jars.It is working fine. Now i have created jar file for my java classes and tried to calling this jar in my javacallout component of the proxy service of osb project.I created one folder,i placed all the related jar files into the folder. But im able to get all the classes except the class which consists of ehcache related code, and im also not able to run the proxy with the ehcache jars,if i removed the ehcache jar from my project i'm able to run the proxy service.otherwise it indicating the error
Error publishing project changes for: OSB Configuration 1 socket write error: Connection reset by peer.
I'm also tried with place all the ehcache jars in the domain lib folder. But i'm not able to get the ehcache related code java class in the javacallout of osb proxyservice.
Is there any separate configuration for ehcache in the osb?It is working in the eclipse environment as a java project, but when im trying to call the same java class jar file in the osb project it is not working.
please give me any suggestions....i'm new to osb...
    Thanks in Advance!

If you want to call a Java class using Java Callout in Proxy, you need to create a Jar type resource in OSB and import the needed Jar file there. Only the Jar files which are imported this way will be available for Java Callout. Also, any other libraries which your main jar is dependent on should be in the server classpath.

  • How to Harvest OSB project into OER

    Hi All,
I want harvest OSB11g project/services into OER 11.1.1.5.0. and these are installed on linux machine.
Can you please provide me the steps to harvest the services from OSB to OER.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you Sjoerd.
I have harvested the OSB projects into OER and then OSR using Exchange utility.
if dev server deployment is successful from OSB to OER and then to OSR - how to migrate the same artifacts from dev to Production?
How can we harvest multiple endpoints of OSB project to OER.
Plz provide any links or solution for migrating from dev to QA to Production.

    Hi,
I will describe the life cycle of an Implementation project.
*Start with Reports*. What the client is using. What he is expecting.
If he got existing reports map the fields with Business Content BW Fields. Go to Business content and make a list of queries which are delivered from SAP. Explain them the KPI's. This should be good to start with. Also check the Tcodes they use.
Look for DataSources that get data from theses Tcode's.
*Project Preparation* (Initial stuff -- Do a conceptual review after this phase requirements gathering)
Collect requirement thru interviews with Business teams /Core users / Information Leaders.
Study & analyze KPI's (key figures) of Business process.
    Identify the measurement criteria's (Characteristics).
Understand the Drill down requirements if any.
Understand the Business process data flow if any.
Identify the needs for data staging layers in BW – (i. e need for ODS if any)
    Understand the system landscape.
Prepare Final Requirements Documents in the form of Functional Specifications containing:
Report Owners, Data flow, KPI's, measurement criteria's, Report format along with drilldown requirements.
*Business Blue print* (Functional spec-- Do a design review after this phase)
Check Business content against the requirements
    Check for appropriate
Info Objects - Key figures & Characters
Check for Info cubes / ODS
Check for data sources & identify fields in source system
Identify Master data document all the information in a file – follow standard templates
    Prepare final solution
Identify differences (Gaps) between Business Content & Functional specification.
Propose new solutions/Developments & changes if required at different levels such as Info Objects, Info cube, Data source etc. Document the gaps & respective solutions proposed– follow standard templates
    Design & Documentation
Design the ERD & MDM diagrams for each cube & related objects
Design the primary keys/data fields for intermediate Storage in ODS
Design the Data flow charts right from data source up to Cube.
Consider the performance parameters while designing data models
Prepare High level / Low level design documents for each data model. --- Follow standard templates
Identify the Roles & Authorizations required and Document it – follow standard templates
Final review of design with core BW users.
    Sign off the BBP documents
Realization ( Develop; Do a configuration review after this phase)
Check & Apply Latest Patches/Packages ...in BW & R/3 systems.
Activate/Build & enhance the cubes/ODS as per data model designs...maintain the version documents.
Identify & activate Info objects / Master data info sources / attributes, prepare update rules
Assign data sources .prepare transfer rules, prepare multi providers. Prepare Info packages.
Perform the unit testing for data loads….both for master data & transaction data.
Develop & test the end user queries.
Design the process chains, schedule & test
Create authorizations / Roles …assign to users..And test
Apply necessary patches & Notes if any freeze & release the final objects to quality systems
    perform quality tests.
Re design if required. (Document changes, maintain versions)
Final Preparation ( QA and Other final stuff before moving to production, Do a performance Review after this phase)
Prepare the final check list of objects to be released .identify the dependencies & sequence of release perform Go Live checks as recommended by SAP in production system
Keep up to date Patch Levels in Production system
Test for production scenarios in a pre-production system which is a replica of production system.
Do not encourage the changes at this stage.
    Freeze the objects.
Go Live and support ( to production and support)
Keep up to date Patch Levels
Release the objects to production system
Run the set ups in R/3 source system & Initialize Loads in BW
Schedule Batch jobs in R/3 system (Delta loads)
Schedule the process chains in BW.

  • Error loading wsdl from the OSB in the SOA Suite over https

    Hi,
We are running SOA Suite 11G R1 PS2. I have created a webservice in the OSB which runs on https://soa-test.myfirm.com/schedule/service/v1. This service works fine. I can test it in the OSB and using SoapUI. Now I want to make use of it in a bpel proces in the SOA Suite so I added the webservice as external reference and pointed it to the the above url. This works...it sees the porttype and all the bindings. But when I want to deploy it, it doesnt compiles and i get the following issue:
Error(19,30): Load of wsdl "https://soa-test.myfirm.com/schedule/service/v1?wsdl" failed
Error(29,89): Cannot find Port Type "{http://www.myfirm.com/wsdl/schedule/service}ScheduleServicePortType" for "ScheduleService" in WSDL Manager
So it seems it cannot load the wsdl. I saw it might be a proxy issue but I dont use a proxy. I can see the wsdl using my browser without proxy settings.
Does anyone know why it cannot load my wsdl?
    best regards,

I looked in the forum and this could be solved by adding the root CA to the trust keystore of the server. My OSB Managed Server and SOA Managed Server are on the same machine (https://sontprs201.myfirm.com:8888). This machine has a certificate of GoDaddy so i have added the GoDaddy-root and GoDaddy-intermediate as trusted certificates to my certs.jks
In the weblogic console I set both the managed servers to point to my certs.jks with the correct password and in OSB managed server i setup the SSL with the correct private key alias.
When i call the OSB service from SoapUI i get the correct 3 certificates back (GD-root, GD-intermediate, sontprs201.myfirm.com), but when I call the OSB service from BPEL I still get the error: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): https://sontprs201.myfirm.com:8888/schedule/service/v1. Unable to find valid certification path.
Does anybody know what I'm missing or how I can debug this?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How to create RPC encoded wsdl for the bpel project created in jdeveloper?

    Hi,
I have to create a bpel project in jdeveloper with the wsdl of the project in rpc encoded format. By default when we create a bpel project in jdeveloper it creates a wsdl file of document literal format, but i need the wsdl to be rpc encoded format. Please let me know how can i achieve this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Nico,
    Thanks for your reply.
You mentioned to specify type in place of element, from where do you get this type and what more changes we need to do for the entire project to compile well with out errors.
As suggested by you, I changed the element to type and tried to compile, it is giving the below error.
    Error:
    [Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part type.

Please make sure the spelling of the type QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
    [Potential fix]: n/a.
Please let me know what are all the changes that need to be done to complie the project successfully.
    Thanks and Regards.

  • Still waiting for a response from Adobe regarding the post "Printing a pdf from a marked-up pdf".

Still waiting for a response from Adobe regarding the post "Printing a pdf from a marked-up pdf" dated 15 Dec 2012 9:20 AM.

Look everyone that comes here with a support problems has gone through all the normal channels, around and  round in circles with no one seeming to be interested. They've called every phone number, every email address they can find. They have been put on hold and bounced fifty times to another operator only to be hung up on. If Adobe would bring back support to main land and have people that know what's going on instead of having people that people can barely understand read from scripts. Scripted information only applies about 10 % of the time. I'm just giving people an alternative. after they have torn their hair out going the normal route.  If they had been able to get a solution they wouldn't be coming here for help.
There should be a forum set up just for people to air these issues and Adobe employees forced to man it. Then we wouldn't have to have such a Bad attitude. Right now Adobe's Support reputation is worse than Intuit's which did have the absolutely worse on the Planet. Now they are number 2.
You know it yourself that Adobe's support is absolutely worse than terible. However to prevent me from being banned from the forums I will simply will provide the adobecare email address from now on
So let's sweep it under the rug.

  • Regarding EP Guys in the XI Project

    Hi Experts,
i have One Doubt Regarding the Implementation of the XI Project.
Is the EP Persons are  Must To Implement Any XI Project??????
Should we Maintain the EP Front End Access Compulsary Or We can Maintain Any other Fron End Access Like VB .NET........???????
    Please let me Know
    Regards
    Khanna

    Hi Rajesh
I would suggest you to check some docuement about the EAI ( Enterprise Application Integration ) on net.
XI is used for Process Integration, an example like An account holder submits the cheque in Bank, now this cheque needs to be reviewed, passed to another Bank for clearing & then the money will be deposied in the respective account.
This whole process can be designed in XI, initially you need to understand the workflow of the process, its touchpoints & its controls.
This whole business process can be automated where in between it will check the policies/rules ( to process the cheque ) or it can be manual depends upon the Business requirement.
Also EAI is used to connect the process running on different platforms/landscapes.
    >>> How these wil Run if you go for Realtime
As I said earlier you need to understand the process, you have to identify who exactly is invoking the process in above example When the person will deposit the cheque in Bank with details.

  • Download a Project file for Visual Studio regarding the Kinect for Windows v2? Getting Started with Kinect Development in Visual Studio

I am currently trying to make an application for Kinect for Windows v2 but I am entirely new to Visual Studio and Kinect development and could use some help getting started. I honestly have no idea where or how to start and I figured the easiest thing would
be to obtain a simple project file and examine how it works myself, but I have been unable to find one. The easiest thing would be if I could obtain a project file for Visual Studio that is an application which overlays the Skeletal model over people in real
time, though similar project files would also be appreciated. The app I am making largely involves things similar to overlaying the skeletal model on bodies so this would get me off to a great start and show me how the code is laid out within visual studio
simultaneously. (I would prefer the code to be in C# if that is possible but other languages also work).
I have checked out some of the guides for kinect development but they all assume you know how visual studio works so I cannot get very far in them. Thus if you know of a good guide to get me started with visual stuido AND the Kinect then I would be glad
    to here that as well.
Alternatively, and I know this is not the right place for this, I have Matlab, which I know works for the Kinect v1 but can't find support for it regarding the v2, so if you could point me in the right direction on how to get it to work with the Kinect v2
THAT would also work incredibly well as I am much more familiar with Matlab.
I already have Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 installed, as well as the Kinect SDKv2.0, the physical Kinect for Windows v2, and my laptop meets all of the requirements for development so those are not issues.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me!

    Hi Jicnon,
Thank you for posting in MSND forum.
