Review Quiz Not Working

I created an assessment and I've set the quiz preferences to
allow the user to review it. When I preview the project I get the
screen with the results and a button that says Review Quiz. When I
click that button it just replays the quiz again as if I were
taking it over. It does not display my answers or any
feedback.

Exactly, you can only use the 'review quiz' function to
review proper quiz question slides. There is not a click box
question slide available, but the nearest to it is the 'Hot Spot'
question slide.
You can include click boxes as part of your quiz, like you
have done, but you might as well de-activate the facility to review
quiz as it won't apply to those slides.

  • Next button in Review Quiz not working in HTML5.

    Hey folks,
We've created a course in CP7 and when I take the course on a Computer (SWF) everthing works fine, but when I take the course on an iPad (HTML5), and go into the Review Quiz section, the Next button is not working. When I click it you can see the click animation of the button being pressed, but it doesn't progress to the next question. I'm forced to close the window as there is no other navigational options, but when I do that and re-open the course, it takes me back to the beginning of the course like I haven't even attempted the course.
I've searched for a previous instance of this and I couldn't find anything, so I was hoping someone has either run into this issue before or might have a suggestion on how to resolve it. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
Need more information about this issue :
    1) Does it happen on a specific project or with a sample project as well (2 or 3 question slides) ?
    2) Which iPAD are you using and what is the iOS version ?
Make sure you have CP 7.0.1 update installed (Launch CP7 -> Click on Help -> About Captivate)

  • Review Process not working for me

    Hi All
We recently purchased Adobe Acrobat X to aid in tracking changes on documents and providing comments.
We use windows 7 and have been using acrobat.com to track the changes.
In the Tracker section, the documents that i have created all have local file paths to somewhere on my PC. Where as the reviewers point to https/acrobat.com/somethingeomthing. When we access that link we can see the reviews, comments etc, but it never updates the local file on my PC. Now im not too sure whether it is supposed to update my PC, or whether im supposed to look at it through the link, but to me it defeats the purpose of this if i cant have it in sent to me. Being an IT guy/Web developer and using SVN software and seeing how easy that works compared to this, im thinking we have wasted our money on this product.
When i open the local document through tracker, and clikc on check for new comments, nothing comes thru, even though i know the girl sitting next to me just published new comments to the doc...
Thanks for any help in getting this working.
    andy

    Hi Andy,
I am trying to investigate this issue but I havent been able to reproduce it. It would be great if you could give me a few inputs.
    1) Are you able to Publish Comments in the review?
    2) Is there any internet traffic monitoring tool running on your machine?
    3) Close Acrobat and then try killing the AdobeCollabSync.exe from task manager. Now open the review file again and try to sync the comments. Does this work?
    4) Try downloading a fresh copy of this file from Acrobat.com server and replacing your local copy with it.
If all these things do not work then maybe we can analyze the traffic (using fiddler) on your machine to investigate the problem.
    Thanks,
    Abhilasha

  • SPEL Review Page - not working at row level

I have searched the forum for "review page" and "SPEL" try to find solutions and tryed the techniques, but still not working.
This is what I am trying to do Display Employee details ( empno, sal, comm, deptno) I wanted to display edit icon only when deptno=10 otherwise not.as mentioned in one of the threads i have added a column decode(deptno,10,1,0) DispEdit and set the rendered property of that edit icon/item. Wrote the code necessary to return TRUE or FALSE,
I think its setting rendered property based on the first record, not changing based on each record.
currently based on the first record and how I put the logic its 1. Displays the column/edit icon 2. Does not display the column.so it this statement right?
    Please help.
I found 2 forums that said it worked
    1. same as above
    Problem Using SPEL
    2. in the second thread uses row.setAttributeValue/populate...
    SPEL
basically I am trying to create a review page with change indicator image ( I have sql that has select old_date,new_date, changes_YN columns).

    Thanks for your reply.
    I have set the rendered property to ${oa.viewobjectname.columnname}
which is same as u mentioned I guess. It is working based on the first row fetched but not based on each rows value.
As per Ramkumar in the below thread , SPEL does not work at row level is it TRUE can anypne confirm?
    Re: Bound Values
I have been waiting to get someresponse from yesterday.
Anyway, as My plan was to use the logic to build review page ( to show Blue dot if old value is not equals to new value) , I have planned to replace SPEL with oracle SQL logic I wrote a sql which returns something like this, I could not find any better alternates ( wrost one was to create 7 VO's (bcaz i have 7 columns to disp) and apply SPEL there)
    Select 'Empno' column, AEmpno Current,Bempno Proposed,decode( a.empno,b.empno,'','*') from xxx_v
    union
    Select 'Ename',Aename,Bename,decode(aename,bename,'','*') from xxx_v
    * indicates Changed data.

  • Return to quiz not working

I'm having trouble with the return to quiz function in Captivate 7. I have tried a number of solutions to work around this but none seem to be working.  I have a project with a series of course slides followed by a quiz.  I have set some of the quiz slides to 'jump to' relevant course slides on failure and set the next button on those course slides to return to the quiz.  I seem to be running into two issues:
when playing through the course slides for the first or subsequent times the return to quiz button seems to become stuck (on most occasions, not consistently).  It does not progress to the next slide and the playhead indicates that the project has stopped playing. Hitting play on the playhead progresses the slide but it is a frustrating experience.
when taking the quiz, the remedial learning seems to work well the first time the quiz is taken but not once ‘retake quiz’ is selected.  On retaking the quiz, the correct slide is jumped to on failure but instead of the return to quiz button sending the user back to the quiz, the button seems to function like a ‘go to next slide' button.  The user then cannot seem to be able to return to the quiz.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Check if you have perhaps changed your Quiz settings to disable Backward movement.  That might account for your issue where Remediation is not working now.
Return to Quiz is designed to work with normal interactive objects such as Text Buttons, Image Buttons, or Shape Buttons, but NOT playbar buttons because Captivate does not allow you to script the functionality of the playbar buttons.
You will need to add a text button or similar to the remediation slide and set it's On Success action to Return to Quiz.  If the remediation slide is NOT reached from a quiz question then that button will simply default to a Go to Next Slide action.  However, IF the slide is visited as a result of a jump from an unsuccessful quiz question THEN the button's Return to Quiz action will kick in.
Be aware that using Return to Quiz gives your learners potentially unlimited extra tries on the quiz questions. And in doing so it can mean they get caught in an endless loop as long as they do NOT successfully complete the quiz question slide.

  • Rollover Area on quiz not working correctly?

    Hi
I have added a rollover area to my quiz, which shows up once the user rolls their cursor over the image on the right hand side.
It is coming up as you can see, but the quiz question and answers show through.
Is there a setting to fix this or do rollovers and slidelets just not work properly in quiz's?
    Cheers
    Jonny

Which version of Captivate do you use? I had answered a question about rollover images on question slides in the other forum, with a screenshot of rollover images that didn't have transparent pixels, and they covered up the question slide objects. I had only to be sure that the rollover area could be reached by the user, was not overlapping (too much) with a regular question object. Will try to insert a screenshot, but have issues with this forum, not possible to insert images any more for me,  will try in another browser and eventually edit this comment. Perhaps have a look at http://captivate.adobe.com/captivate/topics/rollovers_in_question_slides
    Lilybiri
With IE I can insert: here is a picture with the rollover diamond (bigger here) during preview.

  • "more reviews" does not work

The "more reviews" button in app store does not work at all. Now all apps stuck with only 5 reviews.

I have found that sometimes the more button works in iOS 6.  Strange behaviour I must admit.
More annoyingly however, is that Apple have removed the ability to sort by dates or relevance and the ability to look at all or just current version.
I am not sure what the Beta testers were doing with this version with the amount of bugs that people are finding.
Why do they insist on removing very useful features!

  • Quiz not working when published to SWF

    I am using Captivate 5 on a Windows 7 32-bit machine.
Because I cannot publish to .exe (the enter key causes the file to close, as per this thread), I am attempting to publish my project in Flash. When I do so, everything works fine except for the quiz questions. All of the quiz questions come up with the message "You did not answer this question completely" before an attempt is made at the question. The quiz is completely non-functional.
The question itself has been blocked to project proprietary information.

    Hi there,
Probably the issue may be happening because of Quiz Scope. Please make sure that you are not jumping out of Quiz scope through your TOC buttons.
Quiz scope = first Quiz slide to Result slide
When you jump beyond the first slide or after the result slide  after answering any of the Questions you are going out of the QUIZ scope and hence captivate won’t allow you to answer the question. It will show the Review message when you comes back to the Question Slide.
    Thanks,
    nsukumar.

  • Online Shared Review does not work

    Hi
I have just bought Acrobat 9 Pro (which costs a fortune!) and am rather disappointed with a few things. I'll ask about one of them to start with.
I have created a PDF and sent it to a collaborator for shared review, who does not have Acrobat but does have Adobe Reader. She is not a member of acrobat.com, but is not offered to join during the process.
She can download the file and open it with Adobe Reader (showing the extended toolbar) but cannot connect to the server. A message states that she is probably disconneted from the internet, but this is not true.
She is allowed to work offline and then email the document with her comments, but this is not what I want. I want comments to stay online for other reviewers to see.
She had Adobe Reader 8 so downloaded and installed Adobe Reader 9 but this did not solve the problem. The message however changed slighty to: "The shared review location on share.acrobat.com could not be written to, or the server has run out of disk space".
Anyone knows what could be the problem?
    Thank you
    Isabel

    Hi,
Yes, I am getting all the questions and answers that are being posted in the forum. it goes to the junk mail and I have to clean it every day, because there are so many problems with the new Adobe, and people send so many emails. Do you know how I can stop this? Thanks a million.
    Here is an example:
BigDog. Like Ramón mentioned, Adobe is a company not an application so it would help to know what application you are using and what version number you have. Also, what exactly are you doing when you get that error (please give step by step details).
The more info you can give, the better chance you have of getting a solution.

  • Shared Review End Review, Deadline not working in Acrobat Pro 9 for Acrobat Reader 8 reviewers

I am testing the features of PDF Shared Reviews on a network server using Acrobat Pro 9 with reviewers using Acrobat Reader 8.1. (All are Windows users.) After initiating the review via the Tracker and having no problem getting the reviewers to comment and publish, I select End Review in the Tracker. Acrobat Pro 9 registers this action and shows that the review has ended in the yellow bar at the top of the PDF and in the Tracker. However, all the reviewers using Acrobat Reader 8 can continue to comment, publish their comments, and the comments continue to show up in the PDF posted in the network folder. That PDF file continues to say, when opened in Acrobat Pro 9 by the initiator, that it is closed for reviewing. The comments published after the review has ended continue to show up. This is true minutes, hours, and days after the review has been ended so is not a synch problem.
I cannot add comments to this PDF in Acrobat Pro 9 because Acroat Pro registers the end of the review. I can open this file in Acrobat Reader 8 on my computer and continue to add comments. This same problem exists after the deadline set initially has passed. Acrobat Reader 8 users are always able to comment and publish comments when the review should have been ended for them.
How do I get the reviews to end for Acrobat Reader 8 users?
    Thanks.
    Mary-Nell

Those users will have to upgrade to Reader 9 to get the deadlines working

  • Reader 8.1.2 Review Features Not Working

    Hey everyone,
I am on Reader 8.1.2. I keep reading that in order for the Comments to be enabled, I need to set the rights when creating the PDF. However, I don't know where I need to set those rights and I can't find it anywhere in the help (this is a suggestion to Adobe to consider adding this as a help topic).
My current process for creating a PDF is to click Print in Microsoft Word and to choose Adobe PDF as the Printer. Within those settings, I don't see anywhere that I can set the rights for commenting.
Once the PDF is created and comes up in Reader, it doesn't give me the option to allow for comments. Plus, I would like to create a review meeting, but the help just tells you how to join a meeting, not how the author can set up the review for comments.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Kristen

You need to open the file in Acrobat after creation. There is a menu
item for enabling commenting in Reader.

  • Quiz not working in Presenter 10 - Any help?

I designed a little quiz in Presenter 10 but in the published presentation the text of the quiz is invisible an buttons are displayed wrong. Any help?

I am also experiencing Adobe Presenter 10 quiz rendering problems and am wondering if I need an updated PptImgExporter.dll file too. I've disabled the Quiz pane and set my quiz questions to show in the normal course Outline tab. In the Theme editor, I've renamed the Notes tab to Narration. I've turned off all other tabs.
    Here's what I see:
I've blurred out the content, but not the Submit button which is appearing blank. Also, note the Narration tab which is rendering completely outside the panel on the left!
The source PowerPoint slide looks like this before I publish the course:
You can see that the Submit button has white text on a blue background in the PowerPoint source. After I publish the course in Adobe Presenter 10, though, the slide updates to this:
You can see that the blue background has somehow been replaced with white, which is also how the button renders in the published course. The alignment of radio buttons, letter labels, and answer choices is good here. But in another quiz question in the same course, which appears just a few slides after this one, the alignment is off:
You can see that the letter labels (i.e., A), B), and C)) are raised above the radio buttons and answer choices they are associated with.
These render problems are very frustrating since there appears to be nothing to fix in the source PowerPoint deck. Will the updated PptImgExporter.dll fix these issues? If so, can someone send me the correct DLL file?
Here are the details on software versions and OS that I'm using:
    Windows 8.1
PowerPoint 2013 (not sure if it's 32 or 64 bit)
    Adobe Presenter 10.0.0 build 196

  • Review quiz navigation

My Review Quiz button on the Results page of the quiz is taking me back to the beginning of the module instead of the beginning of the quiz. What can I do to fix that? I do not have any advanced action in the module and I do not see any navigation options in the Review Quiz button. I am using Captivate 6 on Windows 7.
I have noticed that the Review Quiz button works properly when I preview from the beginning of the quiz. However, it does not work properly when I preview the Project or preview in Web Browser.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Darin

    Rod,
I checked the Advanced Interactions, but did not find any interactive object on slide 10 where I’m being thrown back to.
It did seem kind of weird that the Results page does not show any interactive objects when there is a Continue button and Retake button on the slide.
Checked Actions under Quiz Pass or Fail. Not seeing anything unusual.
I did notice that I am taken back to the early part of the module with either the Review Quiz button or the Retake Quiz button. (I just tried the Retake button in the example above) Wondering if my Results slide might be corrupted.

  • Captivate 3 - Continue and Review Quiz Button Not Working

I have just published a SCORM course in Captivate. It works perfectly fine once I've uploaded it into the LMS except one small part. I've set up the quiz so each learner is required to pass the quiz in order to complete the module. At the end of the quiz, the results page appears with two buttons (Continue and Review Quiz). Those buttons don't work.
I set up the quiz so that learners have 2 attempts to successfully complete it. If they're unsuccesful, the continue button should direct them to the beginning of the quiz so they could retake it. If they have successfully complete, the continue button should take them to the next slide. That's not working. For some reason, the continue button only works if the learner has failed the quiz. The Review Quiz button also doesn't work. I did select the option allowing them to do so. Can someone please help?
