Send order to vendor and to internal user
Hello,
my question if we can do the following scenario with a workflow.
Until now we send orders as PDF to a vendor using transmission medium 5. This works well.
Now we need the same PDF send to an internal mail. So the user has an dulicate of the order in his mail box.
Our idea was now to do this with a workflow and transmission medium 9. But how can we get/add the PDF to a work item?
Or maybe is it possible to additional documents like AGB's to the vendor mail.

I guess you can do this simply using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send mails with attachments.

Can't send mail error 550 and 554--unrecognized user or relay denied
I've done a clean install of server 10.4.11. When I try to send mail from my mobile me account tot he server I am getting one of two different errors: 550 unknown user, or 554 relay access denied. I'm dog tired after an all-nighter and not thinking clearly.

Since Mac OS X Server runs Postfix and not Exim, either your DNS records are wrong or your ISP is intercepting port 25.

How can I find the table where the PO email message body text is stored please? On our production system, we want to remove any text the email is sent to the supplier and only want the PDF file to. We have SRM 5.0

How to authenticate external and internal users on different AD
What is the recommended way to authenticate external users as well as internal employees in a customer facing application?
We have external users in an Active Directory in the DMZ and our employees in our internal DMZ. Unfortunately we don't have an identity management system in place and wondering if there is a way we could authenticate user against two active directories without creating a trust between them.
We are implementing EP7.0
Thanks in Advance.You can also use user partitioning. A feature of the UME which allows for having different user persistence options for different users. What you could do in this case have the external user stored in the local db or an LDAP for the external users and the internal users stored in an internal LDAP directory. Sending mail from Ouloook (does not arrived to internal users)
I have on machine that does not have GW client, but has only Outlook
It is only used for SMTP sending mails via GWIA
It works fine to external sources, but to internal ones it only works for
some users, for majority it does not work
It probably it is something with access control (can not understand how &
why)
Can see in the log that the mail being send, but it never arrives in
internal user (same domain) mailbox
No error visible

in F-90 only you can post the asset aquisition.
You should do it in F-43.
Before doing invoice for AUC - please check the GL account assign for AUC.where check the field status group internal order field it should be optional/required.......
After that go for F-43 ther you can find a internal order field as
Order

Including down payment made to vendor in the internal order
Hi all
My requirement is like this.
We use IM and IO(Capex orders) for procuring and capitalising assets. We are able to assign all the costs of procuring assets (both APC and incidental expenses to the internal order). We use purchase orders and assign the internal order while raising purchase order.
Sometimes we do make Down payments(advances) without raising purchase orders. My question is how to include this down payment made in the internal order. We cannot assign any internal order while making the down payment. But, can we include this down payment made to vendor in the internal order(commitment) while making down payment or after that.
FYI:I came to know that there is some functionality in Controlling (Project systems) where we can assign the down payment made to the internal order after making payment.But, i do not know how to do that.

New business scenario for reapir from customer and sending them to vendor.
Hello team,
We have a scenario where we need to configure in the system -
We recieve a material from my customer for repair.We need to send this to my vendor who will repair it and send them back to Us. On this we recieve revenue from the customer and pay i pay half amount my vendor for the service.
We are following above scenario in SAP as
In the first step
The production team create a serviece order in IW31 for the material that need to send to the vendor, which was recieved from the customer. When service order is created in the back end a Purchase requisition is created.
In next step we created a PO w.r.f to the above PR and we need to send this to vendor on subcontracting so that we can track the material from him after the repair.
The problem is --- When PR is created automatically during serviece order creation (iw31) we are unable to create Po with Item category L (subcontracting) because PR is not created with L.We are even unable to change L in PR since it is created automatically at the background.We ried to change the field at document type in spro. But no luck.
Pls let us know is there any other business process where we can handle this situation or any technical help to change the PR.

It can be done Using PM02 and PM03 control keys. Select the operation row select the External button in the bottom u will find Sub con check box u can click it .The prerequisities are create a material BOM in the bom as L item select a row and click the item which will be near to the header cap 2nd tab status/long text click it .Mat. Provision Ind select Lor X if it is not available go to IMG setting.Plant maintenance ->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Bills of Material->Item Data->Define Material Provision Indicators, K&L will be standrad create S Rework Material,XRework Material from Subcontrmake a tick mark in Recursivity of Subcontracting Component and save it . while creating the material to the operation to be assigned from bom then in the component select the row go to the general button in the bottom then Mat. Prov. Ind will be there select rework material the system allows you to proceed further . save the order then check the PR it will be Account assignment will be F and Item categeory will be L selected automatically.
Then create PO then do MB1b (prerequsitie the material should have stock)using PO reference( movement type 541) the it will be moved to the vendor stock (check with mmbe)
Aganist PO Material sent to the vendor .While doing Goods Recipt do with MB01with movement type 101, now u can check the stock in mmbe it will be in storage location...

For the Confirmation you need to do the customizing for confirmation control, like what would you like to do after the confirmation. Confirmation is an inbound process.
For Invoice you need to complete the customizing under LIV in SPRO- for Invoices received via EDI.

Send Notification to Multiple Internal Users
Hi everybody,
how can i send an email to Multiple Internal Users in BPM which are not known at design time?
I know i can use an expression, but i have a collection of type string (EmployeeID's). I can use the method getPrincipalByUniqueName(EmployeeID,"user") but employeeID is a collection and this method expected a single string.

my BPM-WebService will be called with a Request parameter:
users (1..*)
userID (string)
So at Run Time i get a collection or array with userID's like: SD4711, AN4712....
If i use getPrincipalByUniqueName("SP4711","user") i get the right user but i have a collection, so what could i do?
I can determine the interface by my self, so it is not a problem to change the interface if it is necessary.
How can i use getPrincipals(Sting(1..*) principalID)?

When I send open office documents to a PC user (even saved and sent in the word format), the document reaches with serious format changes and is rendered unusable to the PC user. How to overcome the problem??
I don't use OpenOffice (I have it on my internal just to play around with, but seldom even open it). I do use MS Word and have few problems sharing files - it's usually a font issue so I tend to use MS fonts for documents that I know will need to be shared.
Unless you need to make collaborative changed to the document, you could always save it as a pdf file. With Acrobat Pro you can even save a pdf file to a Word document with very little change in formatting.
If I were you - and you have a need for .doc or .docx files to travel and play nicely - I'd just invest in MS Office. If you don't have to send a Word file, try pdf.

We have got the contract with vendor for servicing the equipment. Equipment has got the various motors,bearings,,etc .
we need to send the motor to the vendor for repairs,it is the requirement from Plant Maintenance Module.
In this scenario,what is the integration between MM and PM modules. And how to map it.
If it is considered as Service contract .How to send the motors/Materials for repairs to the vendor.
How to track these materials sending to vendor and how to map in SAP.

Master records (Material master or equipment master) are defined for the main equipment,motor and bearings.While defining a main equipment master in PM module we have to link or assign the related materials or equipments (motor,bearings) to the main equipment.
And while creating a plant maintenance order we can define with the item category that the equipment is repaired at the external vendor.When we select that perticular item category system proceeds us to create a external service order with reference to this PM order.

Internal user sending phishing/spoofed email.
Hello. We have a lot of phishing/spoofed email going around our agency. We suspect an internal user is inadvertently sending these emails. One reason we suspect this is our ISP has warned us that we were sending out these emails so we stopped it at the firewall
but the issue still is happening internally.
Is there a way that we can find out the person/user/pc/hostname/ip address etc that is sending these emails?
Exchange 2010 Version: 14.03.0146.000. We do not run an Edge Transport Server.
Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1
Our email antispam is Vipre Email Security but it doesnt seem to help.

Sivakumar, I checked into the properties of the phishing message(s) and if I am understanding this correctly then this particular message was sent in from the outside rather than from internally like I originally suspected. Please note that in this example
I changed my email address to MYEMAILADDRESS any my domain name to COMPANYNAME.
Please correct me if I am wrong but the part that I hilighted is that the actual address that this message was sent from?

Hi All, We are in to Release 11.5.10.2.There is a specific requirement to Prevent users from creating Manual Sales Orders in Oracle and yet users should be able to book the Sales Orders Imported from CRM system into Orcale.Please advise.

Only Spares users need to be prevented from creating Direct/Manual Sales Orders in Oracle.
As you suggested, if this will be done at Form level, that may Disallow FG users also to create Manula Sales Orders which should not be the case.
Further, I tried to test one scenario through Processing Constraints but it did not work.

Hi,
I've got some issues with a Lync 2013 setup.
The config consists of 2 lync servers. One FE and one Edge. All seems to work except audio in meetings and Sip.
The setup is like this (fake ip's used):
Front End:
Internal IP: 172.16.0.10
External IP: x.x.185.10
All ports open in Cisco ASA
internal AD DNS: dialin/lync/meet/lyncdiscover to Front end internal ip. edge/lsedge/sip points to edge internal ip
EDGE:
Interal IP: 172.16.0.11 (no gateway configured)
External IPS: x.x.185.11, x.x.185.12, x.x.185.13
All external IP's are direct internet facing, no NAT (a firewall is in place).
All external interfaces are using a wildcard certificate.
All server are running in a remote data center, so basically no internal users. We all connect to the external interfaces. The Windows domain name (AD) is the same as our External DNS (companyname.com).
Autodiscover works, we can logon, chat but there is no audio. The audio test failes. Also SIP is not working with a sip trunk.
External DNS: sip/webconf/av are pointing to their external ip's. sipexternal is a cname to sip. lyncdiscover/lync/dialin/meet all point to the Frond end External ip.
_sip._tls/_sipfederationtls.tcp/_xmpp-server.tcp all point to the sip.companyname.com ip.
I just can't figure out what is wrong.@PSingh123 I'll try the logs in a minute and get back with the results.
@PaulB_NZ Thanks for the input. In my opinion the FE does need an external IP. How else will you be able to connect if you are a remote worker?
The Edge is (asfar as i know) needed for Enterprise voice and Federation with other (external) sip domains. It's not needed for basic (chat/video/whiteboard etc) Lync functionality for both internal and external (remote) users.
The Edge is to communicate with services/users outside the origanisation.
I do still think that the basic topology (FE with internal IP and Nat'ed external ip working with an Edge with internal IP and 1 external IP nat'ed to 3 DMZ ip's) is correct in this case.
I can be wrong and in that case would like to be pointed to the correct configuration.
