Talent Relationship Management

Hi
Why one candidate (internal or external) appears in the pool of talents and other no ? Thanks in advance

Dear,
In T R M search we can see only those candidates, who has released their profile, that means, Recrutier can now create activities for these candidates. You can not find only those candidate who have not released their profiles..

    Hi
    Why one candidate (internal or external) appears in the pool of talents and other no ?
    I registered 20 candidates but only I can see 3 when i search in Talent Relationship Management
    Can you show me the way please?
    Thanks in advance. Sony

    Hello,
    unfortunately there is no easy way to tidy up a complete e-recruiting.
    While for pure HR components there is a way to clear all infotypes through a report SAP once delivered to get rid of database entries which were accidently transfered with a client copy including customizing tables (all infotypes are for any reason type C tables), the business partner integration of e-recruiting blocks that way.
    Also doing it manually is not easy, e.g. deleting a requisition can only be done for requisitions marked "to be deleted" and this is only possible in the manager scenario.
    We once developed a report to clear a complete e-recruiting system without touching process supporting data like process templates or questionaires for a customer who tested on production to ensure propper set up and a then wanted to clear everything. This took quite some days to get this right - unfortunately I cannot hand this out, I hope for ur understanding here.
    Of course you can try to develop such report on your own. Other way would be a new system setup with importing all transports you did so far. Or third just clean up what really bothers ongoing project.
    For a production system I would go for new setup. In best case there is a data recovery possible you only have to import the transports. Developing an own report might take you longer than this.
    If it is only the dev system I would get rid of all things which could disturb my developments by throwing dumps or slg1 entries. If it is only dev full cleaning is not always necessary. But of course this need quite profund knowledge of the application and the project itself.
    Sorry that I cannot offer an easy solution for this problem.
    Kind Regards
    Roman

  • Talent Relationship Management for also external candidates

    Hi Experts
    Using portal as recruiter in e-recruiting I checked the option Talent Relationship Management in order to find out candidates from old job applications to detect new employees before any other expensive measures such as placing job advertisements.
    However, the result of the searches reports me data from only internal candidates.But when I run the query through "candidates´ selection" I can  search candidates through the external Job Applications and I can see their information there.
    I checekd the status field of HRP5102 (0 -> profile locked, 1/2 -> profile released) but it didn't work.
    What should I check in customizing to also reach external candidates from Talent Relationship Management pool?
    Thanks in advanced.

  • Difference between Oracle Customer Hub and Hyperion Data Relationship Manag

    Hi,
    I need integrate diferents data bases and eliminate information redundancy. I think Hyperion Data Relationship Management can help me to acomplish with the task. But i know there is another product named Oracle Customer Hub than can help me too.
    Does anybody know the difference between this tools?
    Which one its the more appropiate for me?
    Regards

    FCH was a product launched by Oracle to counter Hyperion Financial Management. However, it is not a proven tool. HFM has a very good market standing coupled with its other reporting capabilities. Also, HFM is a industry leader now.
    Financial Consolidation Hub will be removed from the Oracle E-Business Suite Component. FCH will not be included with Release 12.1. This is why, customers are advised to move to Hyperion Financial Management.
    An automatic migration utility from FCH to HFM has not been implemented. FCH customers who wish to implement Hyperion Financial Management will have to install the application and complete the implementation process manually.

  • E1 8.12 Supplier Split Percentages,  Supplier Relationship Management,  VMI

    Three things:
    #1 We are trying to locate E1 users, version 8.10 or higher, that have figured out how to split demand between two or more suppliers without using the out-of-the-box supplier split percentage / supplier release scheduling functionality. We do not want to split each order, in very simple terms we want to be able to indicate a percent split between two suppliers and have the system send a given percent of orders to supplier A and a given percent of orders to supplier B - and have all setup and reporting work appropriately. Or, if someone has done an enhancement along these lines we would like to talk with you.
    #2 Also, we would like to talk with manufacturing companies currently using the Supplier Relationship Management portal (also known as Supplier Self Service) for versions 8.10 or higher - we are on 8.12. We are interested in using the module but want to talk with some current users about their experience i.e., what are they doing for invoicing, how did they overcome multiple supplier numbers, ease of configurability, etc.,
    #3 - Would love to talk with anyone doing vendor managed inventory or consigned inventory in E1 8.10 or higher.

  • Talent Acquistion Management 9.0 / Data synchronisation

    Hi there,
    I have some questions regarding the talent acquisition manager in Peoplesoft V9.0
    Especially the personal and profile data of internal employees who apply for any vacancy.
    To add a new applicant, the user has the possibility to search for employees with the personal id. All data, linked to the personal id, such as personal information and profile information is copied to the application of the employee.
    If the personal information changes (workforce administration), after the application of the employee, the changes will not be updated in the application information. Consequently, there are two different personal information for one and the same person in the system.
    Only after the employee logs into self-service, and confirms with that the change of data, the updated personal information is also updated in the talent acquisition management.
    But what happens when a client does not use the self-service, as my client? There is no process or batch, which synchronizes the data.
    For the profile data (profile management) there is no data synchronization at all. Once the application for an employee is set, every update or change in profile is not updated in the application information for the employee.
    Another question is, why every detail of the profile is copied to the application, but not the competencies.
    If anybody has experienced the same, or does know any solution. Please let me know, this is a big issue for the client.
    Thanks a lot

    Jack,
    Is the TREX delta indexing running and are the indexes up to date?  Did this position(s) have their end date recently changed?
    Might be worth trying to test using SE38 on program ESH_TEST_SEARCH to see what values are actually in the index.
    If the data in the index is wrong -> schedule the re-indexing (recommend Luke's blog: Setting up NetWeaver Embedded Search (TREX) for SAP HCM Talent Management EhP4, 5 and 6).
    If data is correct in index then this suggests an error in the TREX setup.  Could be worth then querying with SAP via OSS.
    Also, to answer your 2nd part ... if you want to add to the listing then you need to extend the TREX setup as well as the Nakisa configuration. I did once see  an excellent article/blog on this but for the life of me I can't find the link!  Anyone else got it?

  • EJB3 relationship management.

    Where are people putting their code to manage relationships with EJB?
    Specifically dealing with detached objects.
    The simple case is a Parent/Child relationship. Where there's a OneToMany relationship from the Paren to the Child (like Orders and Line Items).
    @Entity
    @Table(name = "PARENT")
    public class Parent implements Serializable {
        @Id
        @Column(name = "ID", nullable = false)
        private Integer id;
        @Column(name = "NAME")
        private String name;
        @OneToMany(cascade = CascadeType.ALL, mappedBy = "parent")
        private List<Child> children;
    @Entity
    @Table(name = "CHILD")
    public class Child implements Serializable {
        @Id
        @Column(name = "ID", nullable = false)
        private Integer id;
        @JoinColumn(name = "PARENTID", referencedColumnName = "ID")
        @ManyToOne
        private Parent parent;
        @Column(name = "VALUE")
        private String value;
    }Now the relationship between Parent and Child needs to be managed by the developer. For example, we need to manually link up the Parents to Children by setting the Child.parent property properly. You can't simply do this:
    Child child = new Child();
    child.setValue("test");
    parent.getChildren().add(child);Simply adding the child to the parent collection doesn't do anything. You also need to add:
    chile.setParent(parent);Now doing that maintenance isn't really a big deal. You could easily add to the Parent class:
    public void addChild(Child child) {
        children.add(child);
        child.setParent(this);
    }Adding this kind of code to the entity is straightforward, and the entity is the proper place for much of this.
    But the real issue comes up when you want to take a detached object and use EntityManager.merge() on it.
    The merge operation will do exactly what it says it will do. It will take the persisted version from the database, and then merge your detached version in to that object. If you have any new data in your detached object (or even if the entire object is new), Merge will create new objects as necessary and persist them for you.
    However, what it does not do is REPLACE the persisted version with your detached version. The rule is "merge in the detached version with the persisted version" vs "make the persisted version look like the detached version".
    This issue rears its ugly head when you're dealing with these simple relationships.
    If you hava a Parent with 3 Child objects, and any of those change, then Merge will do what you expect it to do.
    However, say you have a Parent with 3 Child objects. You fetch it, detach it, REMOVE one of the children from the object, and then Merge it back.
    Since Merge is a merging operation, it will not "see" that one of the original rows is missing. Rather it sees that the Parent object looks good, and each of the 2 Child objects it has look fine, and during the merge will effectvely do nothing.
    But in the database you will still have the extra 3rd Child. It doesn't intuit "Hey, there's only 2 rows here in the object, and 3 in the DB, I should get rid of the extra row automatically".
    So, what must be done when doing this kind of persistence, is you must physically remove the "extra" children yourself.
    I have code like this:
        public void updateParent(Parent p) {
            Parent oldp = em.find(Parent.class, p.getId());
            for(Child c : oldp.getChildren()) {
                if (!p.getChildren().contains(c)) {
                    em.remove(c);
            em.merge(r);
        }For me, this code is in a Session Bean. I thought about trying to put the code in to a Callback method, like @PreUpdate, but the Lifecycle methods basically aren't supposed to mess with relationships, and don't have easy access to an EntityManager anyway.
    So I'm curious where others are putting this kind of code? How are you folks managing relationships, particularly with detached objects? I'm pretty sure I've got the fundamentals right here. It seems clear that JPA itself doesn't do anything with managing these relationships for me. It'll CASCADE changes, but actually tying objects together it doesn't seem to have much of a role.
    Any thoughts on how others handle this kind of problem would be appreciated.

    I have the same problem, children are not removed from the DB when merging. Having to fetch them from the DB, manually loop through them, identify which ones should be deleted, and manually invoke remove() is really adding a lot of runtime as we are working with large data sets.
    Is there any solution to this problem? We are not using Hibernate, just pure EJB3. We do not want to add another layer of complexity by introducing it.
    Many thanks

  • Disappointing Customer Relationship Management with V.6

    With a few add in products plugging into the desktop software would it not have been helpful/appropriate to warn that existing add-ins might not be supported in V.6 prior to starting the upgrade?
    I have just wasted several hours trying to find out why I'd lost my GoldMine/BlackBerry sync, downloading the old V.5 to downgrade, uninstalling 6 and re-installing 5. All for the sake of a simple warning message.
    A good product spoilt for a lack of fore thought. With the market really tight due to heavy competition from iphone and andriod etc you would have thought that keeping current customers happy and loyal would be paramount.
    Perhaps you would like to hire me for some CRM training?
