hey guys i bought my iphone 5 in germany in a apple store, im a exchange student livin in berkely CA now. last week felt my iphone down and there is a problem under the display and i wen to the apple store in berkeley.. and they couldnt fix it and in addition they told me the display of my iphone arent the retina display from apple is. they gave me the adress from a repair store in berkeley downtown to fix it.. i didnt understand why "the apple store" cant fix the iphone ?

The warranty on the iphone is NOT international. It is only valid in the country of purchase (the EU is considered one country for warranty purposes). You wil need to send your phone back home to someone in Germany or another EU country to bring the phone into Apple. When it's done being serviced they can send it back to you.

Yes, as long as you buy a new device from an Apple Authorized reseller (which BestBuy is) then you have the normal Apple one year warranty with it. Apple will honor that warranty in any of their stores, and anyone with any Apple device is welcome in any Apple retail store with questions or seeking help.

Wiped hard drive at apple store and now need to reinstall programs (Photoshop) I should be able to do this without purchasing the program again??

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

lol the person you talked to at Apple was not very bright.
Of course you can have sent items in your mail on the iPhone 4. I have mine there all the time.
Sounds like you might have issues with the software.
I recommend trying a reset, send email and see if that goes to the sent items directory
If not do a restore.

notice : when every time try to reset it by the retore utility it tolds ( your i pod obtaining information from your ipod)
and when i tried to restore it by the itunes it tolds ( there is an unknwon error num 1415)

Now the iPod is unusable with the Recovery mode loop. The full error below:
"iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes."
I can see my IPOD under devices on the left pane of iTunes while the error displays. But when I click OK, the IPOD disappears under DEVICES as does the DEVICES category.

The icons are still on my screen but when you touch them, it just blinks and nothing happens..like the screen is frozen. You must use iTunes. Connect your device to your computer, open iTunes, select your device in the sidebar and press Restore. Then, you can restore your device from a backup, and sync the device with iTunes to transfer your files to it pressing Sync button

Please identify your notebook/pc /printer.
Look at the base/rear/side of the notebook/pc/printer at the barcoded sticker.
Post item number 2 as seen on the following example of an HP notebook's barcoded sticker. The barcode on your HP product may be slightly different in appearance, but will still have the important information needed for us to help you.
###Do not post the serial number of your product as it is personal information.###
If your printer is a laser printer then simply go to print preferences and select grayscale printing

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

Have you logged into iCloud on the phone? If not they won't be there, also just to let you know photo stream doesn't keep your photos forever anyway. It will keep up to 1000 photo's after that it will delete the oldest photo there, it will also delete any photo that is 30 days old.
