To remove (*) in Debit Note

Hi,
To print a debit note form f.64, the line item text is missing in the sapscript form IF the line item text is maintained without asterisk (*)  at the transaction level fb03.
Any idea to amend logic in the debit form where the logic should to be able to pickup line item text with or without (*) in order to be printed in the form?
Many thanks!
Regards,
DK

Hi,
For this you have to define two items in the inventory.
1.  First item will be defined in BOM & Inventory with same code & its child items in the BOM itself. This will solve your issue of customization in the computer set when a customer wants to change the HDD capacity.
e.g "PC - P4 2.4G, DDR 2GB, 100G HD" in the item master & BOM with its child items like DDR 2GB Ram, 100GB HDD etc.
2.  Second item in the inventory only which will solve your issue when your customer only wants to sell the whole product itself.
You can tell him while selling the standard product use this item.
e.g. "PC Set1- P4 2.4G, DDR 2GB, 100G HD "
This is the only way using which you can solve the issue.

    Hi Lukeclear17,
The article linked below details both why you may be unable to make a purchase using the credit on your account and why you may be unable to choose "None" when editing your billing information.
Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information?

  • Debit note - Subsequent debit

    Dear all
1.what is the difference between debit note and subsequent debit
    2.credit note and subsequent credit
    3.credit memo
Please guide me with a simple example

    Hi,
    1. A transaction that reduces Amounts Receivable from a customer is a credit memo. For eg. The customer could return damaged goods.  A debit memo is a transaction that reduces Amounts Payable  to a vendor because, you send damaged goods back to your vendor.
    2. Credit memo request is a sales document used in complaints processing to request a credit memo for a customer. If the price calculated for the customer is too high, for example, because the wrong scale prices were used or a discount was forgotten, you can create a credit memo request. The credit memo request is blocked for further processing so that it can be checked. If the request is approved, you can remove the block. The system uses the credit memo request to create a credit memo.
You can use credit memos in Sales and Distribution (SD) for assigning credit memo requests to the open invoices and in Financial Accounting (FI) for assigning  credit memos and payments to the open invoices and carry out clearing with them.  If you use both Financial Accounting (FI) and Sales and Distribution (SD),  there is a 1:1 relationship between the credit memo request and the credit memo item posted in Financial Accounting (FI). As soon as you bill the credit memo request together with other sales orders, or distribute the items of one credit memo request to several billing documents, the assignment is no longer valid and the system will not process it.
For  credit memos, credit memo requests, and payments, you have the following assignment options:
    - Assignment to a single invoice
    - Assignment of a partial amount to an invoice
    - Assignment to several invoices
When you post  credit memos, the payment programme processes them automatically. If the credit memo is specifically related to a particular open invoice item, the payment program automatically attempts to offset the credit memo against the open item. If it is not possible to completely offset the credit memo against an invoice, you can post a debit memo to the vendor, who is to reimburse the amount.  Then you can apply a multilevel dunning program.
    3.  Debit memo request is a sales document used in complaints processing to request a debit memo for a customer. If the prices calculated for the customer were too low, for example, calculated with the wrong scaled prices, you can create a debit memo request. The debit memo request can be blocked so that it can be checked. When it has been approved, you can remove the block. It is  like a standard order. The system uses the debit memo request to create a debit memo

what is the debit note & debit memo of customer. what is the difference between debit note and debit memo.  my client issuing debit note for royalty customer  how we will do in sap what configuration which t code using in sap. if issuing debit note customer is their any impact with financial statement, what entry happend.

    hi
Debit Memo - It is a sales document used in complaints processing to request a debit memo for a customer. If the prices calculated for the customer were too low, for example, calculated with the wrong scaled prices, you can create a debit memo request. The debit memo request can be blocked so that it can be checked. When it has been approved, you can remove the block. It is like a standard order. Creating a credit or debit memo request enables you to create credit or debit memos based on a complaint. For this first create a sales document with the order type for a credit or debit memo  request. You can create the debit  or credit memo requests in the following ways:
u2013 Without reference to an order
u2013 With reference to an existing order
Here you enter which order the complaint refers to.
u2013 With reference to an invoice
Here you enter which invoice the complaint refers to.
In all cases, you specify the value or quantity that should be in the credit or debit memo
You can block the credit or debit memo  request from being billed in Customizing. Go to Sales -> Sales Documents -> Sales document header -> Define sales document type and select the billing block field in the billing section.  This request can later be reviewed along with similar ones, - if necessary, by another department. The request for a credit or debit memo  can then be approved or rejected.
To create  Credit / Debit Memo request:
    - Use the same procedure that you use for Creating Sales Orders i.d  T Code  VA01
    - Give Order Type  as CR for Credit Memo  and DR for Debit Memo reuest

  • HT3702 I want to remove my debit card from my account does any one know how to?

It's not allowing me to update any of my apps can't download any apps it keeps saying there is something wrong with my payment Mathod all I want to do is remove my debit card and put it back to none!!

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your phone then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

If you don't get the 'none' option then do you owe iTunes anything : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5366 ?

  • FI Debit Note (interest on arrears) printed immediately

    Hello all.
We've activated interest calculation on arrears. We use t-code FINT.
The system automatically posts a debit note and prints interest calculation detail.
What we would like was the following: while running fint we'd like to obtain simultaneously debit note print and interest calculation detail. At the moment we can only print debit note later through F.65.
    Best regards
    Joana Trigo

    Dear Nikhil,
Thank you again for your suggestion. At first, I was thinking of two independent forms because we're already printing debit notes, they've been developed in sapscript and i did not intended to create a new form in smart forms. So, that was the reason i wanted to obtain the prints through two different transactions - we print debit notes through f.62.
I've already talked to our programmer to see if he could change the smart form in order to obtain simultaneously debit note and interest doc detail. We just have to be sure that all the information is there.
It is a great tip and we'll try that way.
Best regards and thank you very much for your time and help.

  • Difference between invoice and debit note

    Hi,
what is the difference between invoice and a debit note.
If I underinvoice a customer, should I raise a additional invoice for the difference or shud i raise a debit note. if  i need to raise debit note, then why not invoice or if i need to raise an invoice, then why not a debit note
    regards
    sachin

Debit note is generally used to issue an invoice for already sold goods w/o physical goods movement involved.
If raw material prices increases which are utilized in production of Finished goods. then the business will submit the relevant documents as proof at customer.
Once Customer is accepted, then price increase effective date will be finalized , Then business issues debit note request for the required material & its converted into debit note. ( all this will be done, based on agreement with the Customer). Generally this scenario is most widely used in Manufacturing / Automobile industry.
where as, If invoice is created with less price than actual, you dont need to create debit note, instead you can either Cancel this invoice or create Invoice Correction request.
    hope it adds info

  • Debit Note to be raised in A/P Invoice, How?

    Dear Experts,
My requirement might look strange to you all. I explain my business flow.
It is connected with Service PO. We issue N kgs of Raw Materials to a Service Provider. He confirms to perform the service to a Rate of Rs. R per Kg. If he returns the whole quantity of Finished Goods i.e N Kgs - Acceptable Process loss and charges a service bill for the confirmed Rs. R or less, I do not have any problem. I could generate A/P invoice without disturbing the flow.
But there are cases, in which the service provider would return Finished Quantity less than N Kgs-Acceptable Process Loss and/or charges more price higher than the confirmed Rate of Rs. R per kg.
In such situations, I need to pass the bill, but I must raise a debit note either for Balance Raw Material that he retains or for the Excess amount he charged.
I need this to happen, when I raise A/P invoice. How to accomplish this?
    Please help.
Thanks for sparing your time to understand my business flow.
    Thanks in adv.
    Regards
    Anand

    Hi Anand,
If your are talking about the second flow that is reduce in KGs of finished good in that case you have to make the entry as Goods Issue towards the production loss and print the good issue as the Debit Note for this you have to customize some more information that is the Vendor code ghas to be linked and the P.O number (work order/ Job Work Number has to link here) so that you can print the customer name and other details in the debit note.
if you talk about the excess amount codeed by the vendor you can incorporate the things in A/p Invoice itself.
