Trade promotion and agreement relationship

Hi friends,
I am trying to find a table which stores the link between trade promotion and agreement. I checked CGPL_PROJECT,CGPL_MKTPL_TPATTR and CGPL_MKTPL_ATTR already but didn't find entry for agreements.
If you know the table, please let me know.

You have to use a combination of the CRMD_MKTGS_LINKS table and the SRRELROLES table.  It is kind of tricky because it is recursive.
if you use SE16, then do the following
1. SRRELROLES.objkey = TPM GUID
2. CRMD_MKTGS_LINKS.roleb = value of SRRELROLES.RoleID  (Use the BRELTYPE = AGTP)
3. SRRELROLES.RoleID = CRMD_MKTGS_LINKS.rolea
4. SRRELROLES.ojbkey = AGR GUID

    To my knowledge, we don't have workflow templates for trade promotions, and therefore no customizing documentation specifically for this topic.
    So, if you need an approval workflow for trade promotions, you would have to design and implement a specific workflow template during your implementation project.

  • Trade promotion in a CRM order

    Dear All
    I have created a trade promotion and released it. My questions are
    - The trade promotion I have created does not appear in the header overview section of the Order when I am trying to manually add it to the order- Do i have to do any customizing settings
    - How to determine the trade promotion in the order- automatically?

    Hi Tarang,
    For an trade promotion to be automatically determined in a sales order , you need to do the following
    1. Customizations in IMG>CRM> Basic settings--> Campaign Determination (which is very similar to pricing procedures settings   )
    2. If you want to assign only one TP to an order item, then choose blank for multiple promotions in the path IMG> CRM> Basic Settings> Campaign Determination> Assign Determination Procedures

  • Limited number (5) of mass change can be done in trade promotion of CRM 7.0

    Hi,
    our CRM system is upgraded from 5.0 to 7.0 .
    We are creating trade promotions and mass changes of status are done in here.
    There was no limited value in mass change, many of trade promotions can be massly changed in 7.0 too.
    But a new support package is dowloaded to the system, means level was 003 and now it is 005.
    After this support package load, a limited number of mass change can be done. This number is 5.
    if we select more than 5 records, an error occured and nothing can be done.
    We have to select 5 or less.
    But this is a time loss for our work and our customers, what is the reason? how can I increase the number or totaly destroy this limitation?? Please helppp !!!

    1)Campaign Management, Here Market do the  Mass camapaign in  the specific sales area regarding theire Products and Brands (Aware ness of new Products or rebuilding the Brand image )  by spending some Budget.
    2) In Trade Promotion, Market makes the Trade agreement ( To sell the Particular Products ) with the Particular BP ( Like Distributor/Whole saler ) by giving the Trade promotional discounts, if he sells will get the TPM discount with in the planned period .
    Basically Campaign is using Mass advertise and TPM is to be targetting to the Particular BP to sell theire prodcuts by offering promotional discount.

  • Where to control and give error message before saving trade promotion?

    Hi Gurus,
    our CRM system is upgraded from 5.0 to 7.0 and we have some problems. One of them is, in 5.0 version, we check some conditions and display error message in the AUTHORITY_CHECK method of CRM_MKTPL. So the check is made and message displayed if errors found while entering the trade promortion, at the beginning. And it does not allow any save action too. After upgrade I write this code to CHECK_AUTHORITY method of  CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ. Now it is not make a control while a trade promotion is entered, so it doesn't stop saving trade promotion although there are errors. I can stop saving maybe in the method of CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE? But how can I display own check messages at the beginning of trade promotion? Please give idea.

    There are multiple BADIS for the Trade Promotions.
    Use CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ for Header Valiadtions and CRM_MKTPL_OL_ASG for the Item (assignment block validations).
    You need to use CHECK_ATTRIBUTES method of these BADIs to raise any errors.
    Just append you message to ET_MESSAGE_LOG and set EV_HAS_ERRORS to 'X'.
    If you need an error message on SAVE, use CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE method of the CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ BADI and append the messages and Mark REJECT_SAVE to 'X'.
    Further there are many methods that trigger on different events like Status change etc.,

  • Not Getting the Promotion Code for Trade In and Up program

    I was lured into buying a new phone from Verizon due to the trade in and up program.  From the website it says I could get a minimum $100 for my old phone when I purchased/activated a new smartphone.  I activated my new device and have been waiting for more than 5 business days for the promo code but it never arrived. I called both Verizon customer service and Verizon recycle program but they cannot help much since they can only escalate the issue.  Now I really doubt if this is a legitimate program?  Does anyone else have the same issue? Did you contact anyone who can help you?

    I was trying to take advantage of the "Trade In and Trade Up" promotion.  I was supposed to get a promotion code 5 days after activating a new phone.  Almost 3 weeks after activating a new phone I hadn't gotten a promotion code.
    Anyway I finally got the promotion code after 4 phone calls (2 to verizon, 2 to the recycling program).  So now I'm on to the next step and have submitted my phone trade in information.  We'll see if I have the difficulties others have described on the forums here.
    However, even if everything goes smoothly I've already wasted almost an hour of my time following up on something that should have just happened.  I would imagine most Verizon customers find it annoying to have their time wasted.

    Campaign are basically used for operative marketing planning and execution.
    Trade Promotions are Marketing activity used by industries that sell into the retail channel or through brokers or wholesalers. A trade promotion takes place within a specific time period and aims to increase brand capital, brand awareness, and market share. It is also used to increase sales volume or to launch new products or product lines.
    Trade promotions are structurally similar to other marketing objects, except that trade promotions are targeted at a key account.
    A trade promotion has a header that provides overview information about the trade promotion, such as the intended key account, the product planning basis, the trade promotion objective, funds plan details, and trade promotion status.
    Assignment blocks contain specific information pertaining to, for example, trade promotion dates, products, and causals.

  • How to get user and system status for a trade promotion

    Hi,
    I have to develop a batch program to change user status and system status of all trade promotions which satisfy some criteria. This criteria checks some dates related to trade promotion(like Changed on,Pallett buying, buying horizon dates) also.
    I thought of first extracting all external ids from CGPL_PROJECTS table and then run trade promotion query. But how can I get current user & system status and all dates as these can be taken from relations "TPMStatusActiveRel" and "TPMDateRel". I don't know to take data from relations. Please help me with a piece of code.

    You can use these relations here, as you are not in the Business Object layer anymore. As far as my understanding is, all the batch programs or reports should be done at the API layer. Try this code, to read the status of the Trade Promotion object.
    data: lr_appl_base type ref to CL_CRM_MKTPL_APPL_BASE,
            lt_sys_status type CGPL_ISTATUS_TEXT_T.
    lr_appl_base ?= CL_CRM_MKTPL_APPL_BASE=>GET_INSTANCE().

    CRM 7.0 Web UI Trade Promotion Management.
    I have a trade promotion with custom status already assigned and visible from WEB UI, Is it possible assigning to such TP also a standard status picked amongst TP system status?
    Take into account that in the as is configuration we find in the same TP drop down list user status and system status.
    2 questions:
    1.     How can I hide the system status?
    2.     It is possible to group together user status and system status? E.g. User status: fundrequest, inplanning, submitted...+ released (system status).

    u2022 What condition types are required for rebates
    the condition type for rebate is special,  different the normal pricing condition,  the rebate condition has a different condition usage.  you can define the rebate condition record in rebate related SPRO path
    u2022 How are they linked to TP and how the conditions flow to ECC
    the condition generation configure in TP link the condition with TP type, you can check the configuration in SPRO
    u2022 How are these conditions determined in sales order
    the rebate also need to configure to the sale order, this configuration is under SD rebate path, and you can upload the configuration by middleware synchronize object from CRM
    u2022 Are there any agreements that need to be created
    the aggrement will be created automatically if the rebate condition can be generated in CRM TP.   pay attention that the spend type table in TP WEB UI page has a button named 'rebate generate'
    u2022 How does accruals happen
    the accrals is depend on the funds plan,  if fund plan created and configure for accrualls, you can launch a job background for accrual base on a fund plan from WEB UI
    u2022 How is it linked to funds, what set up of funds is required
    the funds is link to fund plan,   fund plan link to TP.   There is no directly link between funds with rebate, but they have indirect relationship through spend category, method,...    E.G.   you configure a rebate belong to a spend category,  and you can configure the spend category in fund determination with TP.
    The funds will be determined when TP created
    u2022 How validation happens from claims
    validaion happens in claim processing,  in claim,  the spend value will be fetch from fund usage, and bring to the validation screen, you can edit the validation data, and  claim will generate the billing due list according to the validation you input.

    Trade promotion with target group is created and then rebate agreement is being generated in R3 and executed.
    Here i am facing an issue where , only one rebate agreement is getting created for all partners in target group instead of separate rebate agreement is getting created per partner in target group.

    BoM in ERP becomes a structured product in CRM when downloaded by the middleware.  For TPM, we use them for the display pallet scenario.

    Trade promotion management is a business concept supported in CRM, ERP, SEM-BPS/BW, and APO. It integrates the various activities in a golden promotion process which include:
    Basic:
    - Trade promotion creation/planning(CRM and SEM-BPS): Similar to campaigns but with more specific comercial objectives. It usually involves special season discounts or trade spends in the customer site ( trade spends are special product placement costs, tasting events, etc).
    - Trade promotion execution(CRM and ERP): Integration of discounts into sales orders, and rebate agreement managament in ERP.
    - Planned/Real analysis(BW):  It uses CO-PA reports to compare the promotion planned results with the actual results.
    Advanced:
    - Promotion result predition(CRM/BW): You can use data mining models to estimate uplift values based on your past knowledge base.
    - Account Planning(CRM and SEM-BPS): Well....account planning ^^
    - Demand planning integration(APO): Promotion have buying, pre-dip and post-dip periods. This integrates with APO demand planning so that your prodution planning takes into account special discounts and stock-in actions.
