TS1368 I can't connect to iTunes - message says please try again. I've signed out now but won't let me sign back in as it keeps showing a message 'can't connect to iTunes' please help!

Message saying cant connect to iTunes. I've tried ipad, iPhone, mac a d all the same. I've reset router/ broadband connection and I've tested which is all fine. It's just iTunes I can't connect to - I've signed out and it won't now let me sign back in. Please help!!
