Unable to validate C&B-account in iTunes

Hey there,
I've recently received my new Iphone 4, and I've been trying to buy some apps from the itunes store. Since I've had an Iphone before (3g), I already have a click and buy account, which used to work perfectly for buying apps. But since I hooked up my iphone 4 to Itunes my C&B account was gone in my Apple ID screen. I've been trying to get it validated over and over... It does seem to work until I have to press 'Done' at the screen with all my Apple ID information. I check the box that says Click and buy accountnumber XXXXXXXX (which is correct), but when I press Done, I get quite an unusual error. Itunes says: Credit card declined etc. Which is funny because I'm not trying to pay with a CC but with click and buy! Whatever I try to do, it keeps giving me the same error.
I really hope someone could help me with this.

I'm having this same issue - unable to play any music that I have downloaded from ITMS. I'm asked to authorize my computer, which I do.. I'm told that my computer has been successfully authorized. But when I try to play any song, I'm asked again to authorize my computer - and the cycle starts all over again.
I have yet to see a post with any sort of attempt at resolving this issue, but I know a lot of people are having it. I emailed tech support, and (surprise, surprise) never heard back.

    My btinternet email was working ok on my blackberry curve until 1 week ago when I got a mail from blackberry saying that the account needed to be validated but when I try it says "unable to set up.., please try again".
    I've tried re-sending the service books and host routing table but still no joy.
    Would appeciate any ideas.

    Is this btinternet.com email address working OK via webmail? Have you any other email clients configured for the account such as Outlook or Thunderbird on your PC?

  • After installing latest itunes on new PC unable to login to my account in iTunes Store

    Hi all,
    I get a new PC and wanted to use it with my apple devices.
    System is Windows 7 64 bit and, after installing latest iTunes I am not able to login to iTunes (needed to authorize my new PC and use it with my devices)
    Always get the message that iTunes Store is not available at the moment.
    For instance, I tried the diagnosys tool inside itunes and everything is ok.
    Please help me...

    There are a number of things you could do. One would be to network the two computers and transfer your iTunes folder from one to another. Here are a few links that may help you out:

    Another way would be to use an external hard drive, the guide for using the iPod as a hard drive is a good starting point. Apart from the sections on initially setting up the iPod, the instructions are the same for copying the iTunes folder to an actual external drive.   • Unable to validate email account

    I am unable to validate my email account despite using the instructions sent to me by BlackBerry. I get this error message:
    "An error occurred during email validation - please check your information and try again."

    Try doing it online.  From your PC browser, go to www.telstra.blackberry.com .  Once there, create a username and password combo then try validating your email account from there.  If you have difficulties, try www.blackberry.com/integrate from your phone's browser.

    It's a phishing attempt to get your account id and password, the 'validate' link on that page isn't an Apple website (there are similar phishing attempts regularly posted on here) - you could forward the email to Apple : [email protected]

  • How to use two different accounts in iTunes

    I have purchased apps under two different email accounts and I am now unable to use the initial account.  Having deleted some apps because of problems, I am recharged for the apps because apple will not accept the original password and user name.  When I try to add it to my apple account, I get a message that this particular user name is already in use.  (yes, by me!)  Please help.

    Try heading here. Click "Manage your account", login and change your primary email address. You'll then be sent a confirmation email to your new primary address that will ask you to verify it as your own. Click the link, log in, and you're done.

    Count me in as having the same problem. I have been leaving messages in the iTunes for Mac forum where others in there also are having problems. I have been unable to access my account since 11/7/2007. E-mails with Apple have not worked and now I haven't heard back from them since Saturday. I have tried both on a Mac and Windows machine and keep receiving the same error message that:
    This Apple ID has not yet been used with iTunes.
    I last purchased music with this account on 10/30/2007. I even tried resetting my password, changing my account info, trying on a computer with iTunes 7.4, etc. I have money in that account and 150 songs and 5-6 tv shows that I cannot access. I also just purchased a new computer and cannot sync my iPod with this computer since these songs will not transfer.
    Apple really needs a phone number for technical support. Having to deal with e-mails back and forth (and waiting a day for each e-mail) is not a good business practice. Hopefully they will have a phone number in the future.
    Either way, count me in on getting annoyed that a week later, this issue has not been fixed.

  • We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Design Standart. What's wrong with my key or why won't it validate?

    I bought the CS6 Design Standard student and teacher edition over amazon. I activated the product on my adobe account and got a serial number. But when I install the package and enter the serial number I a message saying "We are unable to validate this serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Please contact Customer Support."
    Does anyone know what is up with this? I am sure that the problem isn't anything along the lines of making mistakes when typing in the serial (tried it multiple times, used copy paste to reduce chance of error). It's also not any problem with me lacking an internet connection adobe to validate the serial.

  • I can NOT sign in to My Account on iTunes - FieldName null Unknown error

    Starting this morning, I am unable to sign into my Account on the iTunes Store. When I try to sign in, I get an error message:
    FieldName: null. Unknown error.
    This is NOT a problem with the password on my iTunes Store account. I'm using my Apple ID which I've had for many many years and I've had the same password for many many years.
    And, right now, I am able to SUCCESSFULLY sign into my Apple ID on the on-line Apple Store on the web. So, I know that my Apple ID and password are correct and my account is working fine.
    Therefore, the problem ONLY seems to be when I try to sign into my iTunes Store account using iTunes. I am using iTunes version 7.5 on an Apple Mac running Mac OS X Leopard version 10.5.1.
    I was able to successfully sign into the iTunes Store within the past few days. The problem only started this morning.
    Is Apple having problems with the iTunes Store and account sign-in authorizations?
    Specifically, I am clicking on the "Account" button in the iTunes Store. I am then presented with a dialogue box: "Sign in to view account information". My Apple ID is pre-populated, and I enter my password. Then, I click the "Account Info" button to sign in. Then, I get the following error message: FieldName null. Unknown error.
    The error message is infuriating! FieldName null ??? -- What does that mean? -- And, unknown error ???

    For all Users...I just fixed mine and am now able to log on.
    Yesterday there was a Quick Time update to 7.3.1 that fixed a security issue that was allowing access to your computers. I thought that my auto update would install this and it didn't. I had to manually download from apple and install the update.

    I used the "with iTunes" version and now I can log into my account with out the "null" error appearing.
    This was pointed out to my by QuickDraw so he gets all of the credit.

    I have run PremierePro_6_LS7.exe and, having specified load with serial number, reached the point of entering the serial number.
    "We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Family."
    I have checked my account and the license is on file.
    The serial number is 24 digits in 6 groups of  4 characters.
    Please provide an answer to this.
    I've been using Adobe Premiere since 2006 and currently have CS5.5.
    This is the first time I have had problems trying to download and set up a version.
    It has taken most of the day so far!

    The Serial number appears to have been accepted.since Encode now starts up without a license message.
