VB6 NI-USB-9237 DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan selected physical channel does not support the measurement type required

I have a VB6 program with code that properly reads analog inputs from an NI-USB-6008.
I tried to re-use the code for a strain-gage module NI-USB-9237, but at the DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan step I get the following error:
"Measurements: Selected physical channel does not support the measurement type required by the virtual channel you are creating.
Create a channel of a measurement type that is supported by the physical channel, or select a physical channel that supports the measurement type."
Should I be calling a function other than DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan?
If so, what is it, or where can I find the reference for such functions?
Or - if that is the right function, should I pass different arguments? Currently I'm calling:
DAQmxErrChk DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan(taskHandle, "Dev1/ai1", "", DAQmx_Val_Cfg_Default, -10, 10, DAQmx_Val_VoltageUnits1_Volts, "")

I figured it out from 372251a.PDF
First, the correct function is DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChanWithExcit
Second, you can't just ask for one sample on one channel - ask for 2 samples instead.

Actionscript Mobile projects use AIR SDK by default in Flash Builder 4.7 . Flex SDK won't be used for Actionscript projects.
Could you please try creating an Actionscript project in fresh workspace and let me know if the issue still exists.
Also attach screenshot and error log if any.

Tcode opens selection screen, but does not executes the program

Hi!
tcode opens selection screen of a custom program, but it seems that it does not executes the program itself.
Sounds strange, but how to explain this if I can run a program manually with no problem and it displays result screen, but when I try to run the program with tcode - it opens selection screen but program quits before displaying result screen. I was putting a breakpoint at the begining of the program - it does not triggers debuger when running a tcode (it triggers debugger if to run program manually).... any ideas?

Save Dialog in Office Application does not set the Content Type to the one selected on Document Creation.

We have a Library that supports 4 Content Types ("Content Type 1","Content Type 2","Content Type 3","Content Type 4")
The user clicks new and selects "Content Type 3"
Word is started
The user edits the document
Clicks Save
"Choose Content Type" dialog is shown set to the Content Type "Content Type 1" because the Document content type is ordered as First (which also means Default)
What is expected is the "Choose Content Type" dialog to show "Content Type 3" as selected
Any ideas?

According to your description, there is a library with four content types, you create a document with one of the content types, click save button in Office application,
then a “Choose Content Type” dialog will show up for selecting a content type.
I tried to reproduce as below:
1. Create a library with four content types;
2. In the ribbon of this library, “FILES”->”New Document”->”Content Type 1”, then the Office application with the predefined template will be opened for editing;
3. Click the “Save” button, choose the save path as the current library, click “OK” to finish the process;
4. Refresh the library in browser, the newly created document appears there.
In my test, there is no “Choose Content Type” dialog showing up when save the document in Office application.
I would suggest you provide more details about how to reproduce this issue(screenshot would be better) for further research.

Cant use targus mouse which has a little usb thing that plugs in but does not in the settings say how to use a usb mouse but it works with my macbook pro

hello i have a imac running mountain lion and a macbook pro running leopard it works with the usb mouse from targus and works with a mac but for some reason it appears as a keyboard and ive heard of select type but they do not have that in my imac it just went automatically with my macbook pro please help

Selecting physical channel from list with DAQmx

I'm trying to write a simple VI for reading and writing digital data. However, when I have a DAQmx physical channel control, the only options it presents to me are the various analog inputs (and doesn't allow me to type in the port I actually want to use). In other examples, e.g., "Write Dig Port.vi", the apparently identical control instead shows me digital port options rather than the analog in channels. As far as I can tell, there is no real difference between the controls as there is nothing in properties that I can really modify.
How can I get this control to let me choose the channels I want? Or is there some difference in these controls that I am not aware of?

The channel lists adapts to the type of DAQmx Create Channel that you use. Do you see the text below the DAQmx Create Channel? If your channel is displaying only analog input channels, then the DAQmx Create Channel type is AI Voltage. If you want to use digital input channels, change the type to Digital Input. Click on the little arrow on the right side. This is called a polymorphic VI selector. You can do the same thing by right clicking on the VI and do a Select Type.
Mark has a good point. If you change the type of DAQmx Create Channel and you already have a physical channel wired, you will have to go to I/O Name Filtering to change the channel types displayed. If you change the DAQmx Create Channel and then create a channel control by selecting Create Control, you'll get the correct type automatically.

OK. You merely erased the content and settings. The IOS is still there.
If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures. From what you've already stated, my guess is that you'll end up with Recovery Mode described in the last paragraph.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

If yes, make sure that the channel is active and that it has been started.
ALso , make sure that the sender JDBC adapter Select Query has some valid data and actually returns some rows!

Computer with Windows Vista SP 2 and Desktop 5.0.0.11 does not recognize the BB via USB

I have had an 8100 for some time. Recently the desktop will communicate to the 8100 via bluetooth but Windows does not recognize the 8100 when I plug it in via USB. I have tried downloading and reinstall the desktop with no luck.

Also, check that you are using only root USB ports...no hubs (sometimes the front-side ports are hubs...use a rear USB port). And make sure to try disabling USB power management in your system configuration (Device Manager).
Apologies in advance if this is redundant -- there's no way to be sure if you've already seen and tried these.

"The selected communication device does not exist"

Whenever I log on (or come out of sleeping), I get a prompt box from Internet Connnect that says "The selected communication device does not exist. Please verify your setting and try again". I think this started to happen when I stopped using a USB modem to access the internet. Recently I was again using a (different) USB modem, and when I stopped (I now have a wireless router), I now get TWO of the above alerts!
To be clear - I have no problem accessing and using the internet with the wirelss router I am using.
Is there a way of deleting historical communication devices I no longer use from Internet Connect that might stop this from happening?

I wonder if this might have something to do with Location and Network settings.
I'd go to System Preferences/Network and, choosing the location that you are using, select the "modem" tab. On the presumption that, because you are now using wireless router and that your computer is no longer using its built-in modem, I'd delete all settings under "modem".
Then I'd open Internet Connect and see what crops up when you click on the Modem tab. It should be blank. If it is not, I'd close Intertet Connect, then go to My User Folder/Library/Preferences, and there move the following file to the Desktop: com.apple.internetconnect.plist. Open Internet Connect again.
There are other things that can be done, especially in the Locations settings. However, I'd try the above first.

IPod Nano: Error Message "The USB device has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it"

Hi everyone, I just received 2 brand new iPod Nanos for my kids for Christmas, thought I'd be smart and sync them both now before wrapping them so I don't have to be messing around with them on the day. One synced without a problem, then using the same cable, same computer, same USB port, the 2nd one came up with "The USB device has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it" I've tried restarting my computer, unplugging and reinserting the USB. Is there anthing else I can try before returning it? Thanking you for any help.

I have solved my problem, I ended up ringing Apple and got an awesome lady who told me to reset it by pressing the sleep button and menu button together for about 10 seconds and once it actually turned on for the first time the computer then recognised it, so it's all good, :-) Thank you lovely lady!

Selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type

I've been using Premiere Elements 9 for a couple of years now, and a few months ago I began having problems importing AVI files created from a BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card. (These issues were not previously occurring, and since they surfaced, I have exhausted the various settings for the BlackMagic card, used various software such as BlackMagic's own Media Express as well as the freeware VirtualDub, and still have the following problems.)
In addition, these AVI files play just fine, in their entirety, using Windows Media Player and in Quicktime.
The problem (or possibly two, but I suspect they could be related) is that most of the AVI files I attempt to import will either (1) import all video and NO audio, or (2) import ONLY a short segment of audio and video, and the length that Elements imports varies. Usually only in the range of a minute or two. The rest of the file is not imported at all.
After much digging in forums, and testing various settings in trying to figure out the issue, I decided to back up all of my files and completely wipe all hard drives and start over with a fresh installation of Windows and Premiere Elements 9. I haven't installed much else yet, as I wanted to first find out if the reinstallation improved things with Elements.
For the first project I created in Elements after the reinstallation, Elements successfully imported an entire AVI that was nearly 2 hours long, audio and video. This was a file that previously would not import properly into Elements. This suggested that my earlier installation of Elements must have been corrupted somehow. At this point I was very hopeful that all was well.
I proceeded to edit the video as I had wanted, saved the project, and exported it to an MPEG format file. I had originally wanted to export it as an MOV, but I hadn't yet installed Quicktime, so Elements couldn't do that just yet. The MPEG export was successful and plays fine.
However, I then installed Quicktime, and once it was finished, I restarted the PC and reloaded the same project. This time, Elements claimed the media was offline. I double-clicked on a segment of the video, and directed Elements to the raw file, but then an error message popped up: "The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)." This was the same file I had JUST edited and of which I created an MPEG.
I tried creating a new project and the "Get Media" function to import the AVI again, but this time only the video imported with NO audio. (This would explain why the error message said what it did, but not why the audio wasn't imported.)
What in the world is going on with Elements??? I am baffled since the ONLY task I have done on this machine after a complete reinstallation of both Windows and Elements is edit one AVI. I find it very hard to believe that just installing Quicktime caused this.
Some info on my system:
System: Asus P6T w/ Intel i7 920 and 12 GB memory
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Video Software: Premiere Elements 9
Capture Card: BlackMagic Intensity Pro (PCI-e)
Capture Software: AVIs recorded with either BlackMagic Media Express or VirtualDub (only prior to the reinstallation, as neither of these programs are currently installed)
I'm getting to the point with Elements that I might need to just abandon it and find something else that is more reliable. Anybody have suggestions to help with this, so I won't have to migrate?

We think that we need to start off with definiting the properties of these .avi files that you are importing into Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 (assumed that you are working for the required 9.0.1 Update).
You say that the "avi" was created from a "BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card". What are the properties of this .avi that you imported into Premiere Elements? Not all .avi are created equal. What is the video and audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, pixel aspect ratio, typical duration?
Based on the properties of the video what have you been setting as the project preset?

I can tell you that this is some of the absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I found out from a store employee that when they are really busy with calls, they have third party companies taking overflow calls. One of those companies is Xerox. What can a Xerox call center rep possibly be able to authorize on a Verizon account? I'm Sure there is a ton of misinformation out there due to this. They don't note the accounts properly or so everyone can see them. I have been transferred before and have asked if they work for Verizon or a third party also and was refused an answer so, apparently they aren't required to disclose that information. I spent a long time in the store on my last visit and it's not just customers that get the runaround. It happens to the store employees as well and it's beyond frustrating.

Just direct wired transferred to Droid phone and it worked first time.
