Xp-310

I just got a Epson Home XP-310 printer and it is not working at all.
I got to the part where I needed to let the ink prime and then it said paper jam. WHEN there was no paper in the printer.
How do I fix that?

  • How do I download the solution center to my HP Touchsmart 310 pc

I have a HP Touchsmart 310 PC with the Windows 7 operating system.  Back in January I started having trouble logging in on my page.  I was the only admin on the pc, so I could not access certain information or make any changes to the computer.  I finally erased everything in the computer memory and started over from scratch.  I have an HP Photosmart printer that I use, but when I re-installed the software, it did not include the hp solution center, so I can't scan any documents or photos to my pc.  I need help!

    Hi,
Please let us know what is your printer, hope we can help.
    Regards.

  • EPSON Workforce 310 "scanner reported an error" when using document feeder

I'm having trouble using my EPSON Workforce 310 printer/scanner with my new MacBook Pro (late 2012, 2.5 GHz i5, OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2).
Using the flatbed I can scan without a problem. But when I try to use the document feeder, I get the following error right after I click Scan and before the scanner has done anything (at least I don't hear anything moving inside the EPSON):
         Scanner reported an error
         An error occured during scanning
The EPSON's display doesn't show any error or special message.
This is repeated whether I use Image Capture, Preview's Import from Scanner, or the printer's native app (PrinterProxy, the one that shows up in the doc whenever the printer is printing or scanning).
I have no problem doing the scanning from my old iMac (2006, 2GHz Core Duo, Snow Leopard). After scanning to the MacBook fails I can walk over to the iMac and scan from there without problem and without resetting anything on the EPSON.
The EPSON is connected the home network via ethernet to a Time Capsule. Both computers are connected to the network via WiFi.

    Syd,
My wife's iMac with 10.6.6 stopped working with her Epson 2480 Photo scanner. Get the error message "SCANNER reported an error. An error has occurred during scanning" I am trying to use it from the Image Capture App or from the print/fax option in Settings which opens Image Capture. I ran the uninstall program and then reinstalled the ICA 13969 .dmg but get the same error. Not sure what else I can do.

  • HP Touchsmart model 310-1110A

I have purchased a brand new HP Touchsmart model 310-1110A. ....The computer repeatidly stops working and places a blue screen with an STOP ERROR message saying the computer has been shut down to prevent any damage , the computer is only ( 1 ) month old and this crash error message appeared within the first 2 weeks of purchase....
We have returned the computer to the store 3 times now to have it looked at by a HP technician, each time it is returned to us saying that they have looked at it and fixed it. To no avail will they REFUND/REPLACE this computer for another, stating that it is not there policy and that HP have the final say as to whether they will write the product off as a LEMON. The store kept the computer for 4days in there store using it and said the ERROR code never appeared whilst they used it. Upon returning to our home and the computer has crashed again with the same ERROR code. There has been ( 2 ) Recoveries performed on this computer. The ERROR MESSAGE follws. Please if anyone can shed some light on this please reply as we are not getting any help from the store from which we purchased. Should this computer be replaced or is there some other reasons this is happening.

It's a simple BSOD AKA Bluescreen error, it is most likely NOT a hardware failure.
Make sure that you have up to date Antivirus software,
Make sure Windows is fully updated via Windows Update
Make sure you have run the HP Software update app and the HP software is all up to date.
Unplug any additional hardware you may have plugged in to help troubleshoot.
That will resolve 90% of these errors

  • I have an Nvidia GTX 560, yet 310.19 wont work

Irritated and baffled by this. This page clearly states that my GTX 560 is supported by 310.19 (as it should...this card isn't that old), yet after installing the new driver and rebooting, Xorg fails to start, and error logs say that the Nvidia kernel module couldn't be initialized.

  • Error message on my new 310 1125f touchsmart screen to choose aero theme in control panel did that

Just got my HP 310 1125f touchsmart 23rd of Feb 2012. Work good for two days, then on the touchscreen was a Error message
choose an Aero theme on the  control page. Did this there are 7 different themes  I tried all of them and none of them worked
even did a restart after each of them. What is the fix for this help me please. Maybe getting a touch screen wasn't a good idea.
    Everything else works great.
    mrstix

    Hi Marilyn52,
Did you already try restarting the system? If HP takes over your computer, windows aero gets turned off for performance reasons. When you restart, the original theme should be back to the way it was.
If not you can try the following steps also:
Make sure that Windows Experience Index has been updated. For more information check: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-the-Windows-Experience-Index
The following steps will tell you how to turn on a Windows Aero theme for vista & 7.
    Vista:
    1. Right click your desktop and select "Personalize".
    2. Click on "Theme"
    3. You'll get a window which will list all available themes for windows vista, select Windows Aero here.
    For Windows 7:
    1. Right click your desktop and select "Personalize".
    2. Here are all your themes including the Windows Aero ones, just select one of these.
It might be possible that you have to restart the computer.
If still not working, please let us know what kind of computer you have and what operating system it is.
    Greetings
    Philippe

  • Printing Problem with Epson LX-300+ii and LX-310 in Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit

    I recently installed Windows Server 2012 R2 64-Bit.
We have Printer Epson LX-300+ii and LX-310 (dot-matrix) that we share among users. Each user access the Server using Remote Desktop. From previous experience with Windows Server 2008, I knew that these printers will be problematic, especially regarding
    the Easy Print driver.
And I was right, using the Easy Print driver, I got the following result:
And so, I did manual mapping & disable the "Use Remote Desktop Easy Print printer driver first". Haha, what a surprise, I got the following result:
And so I uninstalled the printer driver, and install it again, thinking that I might chose a wrong driver, but.... same result. I know for sure that I chose the correct driver.
Next, I tried connecting the printer DIRECTLY to the server. Log-in to the Server directly,
not using Remote Desktop. And tried printing again, haha... really... what a surprise... I got the same problem here !!!
So now I know the problem is not the Easy Print driver, not mapping or registry problem either. It's the print driver. This is SUPER FRUSTRATING, I tried the same driver from the same CD in Windows 8.1 64-Bit with no problem. I tried it too in Windows 7
32-Bit with no-problem either. But somehow, this driver is problematic in Windows Server 2012 R2.
Any help? Anybody else bump into this same problem ? I'm close to giving up, been spending too much time figuring out this damn thing.
    Andy

    Hi Bulent Sahin,
Thank you for your reply, I tried IBM Graphics driver, but the result is equally as bad. But your answer inspire me to try different drivers. And so, the closest & best driver that I could use now is EPSON ESC/P 9pin V4 Class Driver
It's not as good as I would expect, but at least now, it's acceptable & readable. I can't believe that I'm the only one who have this problem
    Thank you Mr. Sahin

  • HOW DO I SET UP AN EPRINT ADDRESS FOR MY HP PHOTOSMART 310 SERIES ?

IT SAYS PRINTER'S EMAIL NOT ACTIVATED

I've tried everything to get this Photosmart Premium 310 working with ePrint, and it seems to me that either the printer or the service itself is defective.
The printer works on the network here:  I can send a page to it and it prints out.  However, every time I try to get the email address, it says, "Problem connecting to web services."
The printer shows two of five bars in the wireless section.
I have turned web services on and off.
I have moved the printer around.
I allowed the printer to remain "Initializing" all night, then unplugged it and re-started.
It seems to me that, if it can wirelessly accept a color page from my computer, it ought to be able to communicate with a server.
Should I return this to the store?

  • When is a contract legal.  If the local store suggests I send in my 2008 Macbook in for 310 at their suggestion can the copany turn around and tell me it costs more than 1200 dollars?

I went to my local Apple Store with a display problem and was told 700 dollars to reair it there or send it in for a complete overhaul referbish for
310 plus tax.  I took it home consulted with my wife she said for a 2008 310 wasn't bad.  I brought it in and set I an agreement for the 310 and sent it in to returned in 3 to 5 days.  I also read online that others had done the same theing.  3 Days later I get an email from Apple that the repair would cost more than 1200 dollars and do I want to repair it for that price.  I called Tim Simpson and was told Apple doesn't honor agreements made at the retail store.  Should Apple be obligated to honor it's contracts.  I am assuming that Apple retail and Apple repair work for the same company.  The hinge problem has been a problem and Apple had a free  repair window for 6 months but didn't tell it's customers about it.  At least I never heard from them.  So when is a contract a contract and has Apple success lesoned it's famouse customer support.  We have been using Mac's since the 80's and currently have 7 products currently in use in our household.  I used to work for a computer consulting company and since moving to North Carolina moved completely to Apple.  Is it time to revise that thinking.  Thanks for you ear and input

    Hi,
Thanks for the response.  The store told me everything would be fixed for 310 because the go through the entire computer and fix any problems they find.  Now was that a written guarantee or a verbal assurance.  To Bob if I wasn't told that the price would be lower then I wouldn't have bothered to send it in and we would use it until it stopped functioning and know one would be upset.  It was at the store suggestion I sent it in and spent over an hour of my time traveling to an from the only Apple store in my area.  I worked in technology for 12 years and have dealt with and performed customer service on a professional level.  I have experience with contracts and if someone says we will do something for you writes up an invoice and does not say that it is up to the "depot" then there is a case to be made.

  • HP Touchsmart 310-1125Y - Missing USB Receiver, how can you get a replacement?

I purchased an HP Touchsmart 310-1125Y all-in-one computer and the USB Receiver is missing. Does HP sell replacement receivers? I tried searching but just found the part number of the mouse. The mouse's part number is 603289-001 and the keyboard is KG-0981.
The mouse/keyboard are fine, just no USB receiver. Anyone have any luck with "generic" receivers if such a thing exist?

Here are the specs for your HP TouchSmart 310-1125y Desktop Computer. According to the specs, this model was introduced for sale around two years ago. The specs also indicate that the USB mouse/keyboard wireless set use a 2.4GHz frequency. Have you checked on the bottom of the mouse??? Many mice have a little "pocket" to store the USB dongle. If the USB dongle is truly missing, HP's Part Surfer lists the mouse as "Part# 588485-001 - HP Mouse - Wireless, Optical (includes USB Receiver & Mouse)".
    Please send KUDOs

  • Can i add a second moniter to hp touchsmart 310

Just need to know if I can add a  second monitor to my hp touchsmart 310 pc

I use a USB display adapter to provide a choice of two extra monitors for my Touchsmart 300. I run a 17" monitor on a VGA cable from the USB display adapter and when I want to watch movies I change to an HDMI cable connected to my 42" Plasma and run that as a second display in the loungeroom. With the HP wireless remote, I can control the video and with the wireless mouse and keyboard I can surf the net on the BIG SCREEN! Cool!

  • When I start homesharing I get an error 310 message and it won't let me go any further

A quick search seems to infer that the rescue email field is optional, so try it without entering anything.
    Otherwise:
if you have a Gmail email you can add or remove the full stops in it, so for example
[email protected] is the same as [email protected] as well as [email protected]
this would give you a second email for this setup.
Apple is basically asking you for a backup email account incase anything goes wrong.
If you do not have the option via Gmail or similar maybe use a friends or family members email, after asking them of course, just to get you past the extra security.
You are not going to be able to purchase any items until you update with the additional security that iTunes now needs, and the 2nd email is not going to stop you using your usual email that you use to log into your iTunes account.
