Is a BAPIBadi available for uploading data to create Service Entry Sheet?

Dear MM Gurus,
Users are currently entering Service PO and creating Service Entry sheet for the Subcontractor consultants (using Transaction code - ML81N) by referring to the Service PO.
Due to the high amount of data, the users do not want to create Service Entry sheet using ML81N.
Rather, they have the flat files containing approved timesheet data of the consultants every month and want to upload the flat files. Is there any BAPI or BADI available for uploading such data monthly, to create a Service Entry sheet automatically? Is this feasible?
Do other companies follow this procedure? Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

Service entry sheet can't be changed to update the final entry indicator

Hi All,
Can any body suggest possible reason and a solution for the below?
I am having a situation in which for a service P.O for which partial service enty has been done and for that invoice has also been done.(In production)
Now when I am trying to close the P.O line item by going to service entry sheet by t.code ml81n there i am not able to get the change icon , and hence i am not able to revoke the acceptance of service entry and subsequently I couldn't be able to set the final entry for that.
I tried to do the simulate the same senario in development(testing client) server and it is working fine, could any one sugget the reason and solution how to close the service line item in the P.O .

That was useful but I checked some other service P.O and for them I am able to see the change icon.
the p.o in my earlier mail are old one of 2002, but they are having partial service entry and invoice against them,
Could any one please tell me under what circumstances I will not be able to see the change icon in the service entry sheet?
Is it if the service entry is done at an old date, i mean earlier date or any other reason.

Can we assign vendors in PO w.r.t. Services in line items?

Dear,
PO or Service PO is a legal Document. So SAP is strict to this rule. So u Can not change the Vender either SES or PO itself After saving the Document.
but u can try in Partner Function change in ur Service PO

Quantity change in Service Entry Sheet

Dear Sappers,
My client is procuring Service for different purpose.Their requirement is they need to change the qunatity in Service Entry Sheet.But in Standrd SAP, when I'm maintaining a SES respect to PO, quantity I'm not able to change.
Is there any way to set tolerance limit in SES.When I'm maintaining SES respect to PO, and changes the quantity, system is giving error message.

while creating Service Po in Me22N...
Go to Service Tab:
Maintain the Overfulfillment Tolerance in the grid.
also you can Check the check box of Unlimited.
Unlimited Overfulfillment
Specifies whether or not unlimited overfulfillment of requirements (overperformance of a service) is allowed at the time of service entry.
This will work

Hi,
You can change the Price during Service Entry Sheet in In Service PO, "Price Change allowed" indicator is active in "Services" Tab. This will provide the facility to change the price during SES processing in ML81N if there is any variance in PO and Entry sheet price.

I have analysed the scenario and i acknowledge that your
analysis was correct and thats the correct system behaviour .
we cannot change the period once SRS(serivce entry sheet)
is SAVED .

Accept a Service Entry Sheet

Hi All
I am having a problem when accepting a service entry sheet, after saving the entry sheet, the system will create a GR document number but the problem is if the service entry sheet was created previously e.g. three days ago when accepting , the GR document number will have a posting date as from three days ago matching the posting date from the service entry sheet. Is there a way of making the posting date for GR document to be the current date when accepting the service.Your help will be appreciated

For the SES, the creation date would still be same. Only field ESSR-BUDAT (posting date) would get changed.
That shouldn't be a problem, since you would know anyway when the SES was created from ESSR-ERDAT, the SES creation date.
Also the last change date would also be correctly updated.
You have another field Doc Date ESSR-BLDAT which records the date the SES was posted.

Prevent auto creation of service entry sheet

Dear friends,
I am using maint plan for creating service entry sheets automatically. I am using framework order where I give the validity period. Now when I try to generate service entry sheets through the plans after the end of validity period given in framework order,the system is allowing creation of service entry sheets. Is it possible to prevent a maint plan triggering a service entry sheet if the call date for the service entry sheet to be generated falls outside the validity period given in framework order.

Changing Service Entry Sheet - Call Transaction / BAPI / etc

Dear all,
I need to create a program in order to change data in service entry sheets services or/and delete services. I wanted to use a BAPI but I can not find one for changing data (only for creating). Trying to use call transaction for transaction ML81N has been nearly impossible due to positioning issues. (It is an Enjoy transaction and acts differently when in batch input mode). The old transaction ML81 also has this positioning problem.
Has anybody ever done this and has any tips?

Service entry sheet date change box prompting in ML81n

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone tell me why this might be happening. Lets say we created a service entry sheet in the previous period and after performing the service i want to approve it. I cannot post to the previosu period because it is closed. I can only post to the current period. No doubt or confusion there. Even if i try to post to the previous period the system should prompt the date change box so that the user knows yes i have to put a date in the current period. But this does not seem to happen always. Sometimes the system prompts the date change box and sometimes it does not and directly gives the message error log of accpetance entry psoting and blah blah. Why is it that systemgives the date change box sometimes and sometimes it does not

Dear Anusha,
System give the date change box only when your date not matching to MM posting period dates.If your dates is under MM posting date periods system is to question you.
befor posting,i mean you check dates with MM posting dates to curent dates.
mostly system allow previous month periods,if more than that system is not accept ,it is purely relation with posting periods issue,this type of question you can idetify in MIGO posting time

"Buffer table not upto date" while creating Service entry via BAPI

Hi All,
I am facing the same issue while creating and accepting a service entry sheet via BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE in a report . I get a pop up message S001 (Buffer table not upto date) in ML81N. Though, it is not an error message it delays the further processing. I have checked the relevant threads for this message but since there is no SRM involved, I couldn't track the exact solution.

Please close all the applications and re-check your rquirement.
Also, check for any information from SM21 logs.
Some times, it can be due to program /report not correctly maintained.
Finally, Basis people need to validate & may re-start (cautios of Production system) system.

Regarding BAP -BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_RELEASE for Service Entry Sheet

Dear Support,
As we have implemented the BAPI -BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_RELEASE for Releasing the Service
Entry Sheet automatically.
But if we release the Service Entry Sheet Mannualy then at the month end we can able to change the
Posting period after closing of periovious period but in this BAPI system is not able to change the
Posting Date after the Closing of Period at the Month End, So we are facing a big Problem.
So pls provide the Solution So that our problem can be resolve.
