C7280 fax features are missing in solution center

I have done complete uninstall/reinstall C7280 (vista prem. 32) 4 times in the last few days and get different results every time! It started with inability to scan. bottom line is, I've always had issues with this software. Currently, I have scan functions and ink rpt. from the sol .cent., but that's it. I can't bear another reinstall unless I can expect a full featured package. Any ideas? Thanks

Try repairing the fax software and check if that may help..
Assuming you installed the latest drivers, the following steps apply.. if you used the original CD I would suggest removing the software and installing the latest software from the web, which can be found within the Driver category below:

If you already used the latest software from the web, click the Start button and then select Run (Or click the Windows Logo and the R keys of your keyboard), then type %temp%
Locate the latest HP folder, the latest modified folder which starts with the 7z characters.
Open the Setup folder, then open the Fax folder.
Right click the Fax.msi file (May appear as Windows Installer File) and select Repair.
If you get any prompt that it is only valid for installed profucts select Install instead.
Follow the steps on screen, then reboot your PC and check for any change.
If the same persists, try installing the following update and check if that may help:

Scanner Actions & Printer Preference sections missing from Solutions Center

I have just bought a Photosmart 6510 e All-in-one. I had no problem setting it up on my laptop and easily set it up on an old desktop PC. However I noticed in the HP Solutions Centre on the laptop that two sections are missing from this - 'Scanner Actions' and 'Printer Preferences'. The only sections appearing on the laptop's page are Web connected solutions, Shopping resources, Help & Support and Privacy Disclosures. However the missing sections both appear on my desktop PC's Solutions Center. How can I get them to appear on the laptop's Solutions Center?
The Solutions Center I am referring to is the page that appears when I click on All Programs/ HP/ HP Photosmart 6510 Series/ HP Photosmart 6510 Series or the printer icon.
Desktop PC - Windows 7 Professional (32 Bit)
Laptop - Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
EDIT: I have completely rewritten this post, including the title as I was using the wrong terminology so hopefully it now makes more sense and I can get an answer to my problem. Maybe even an expert one!

To clarify, HP solution center is utilized on prior models. The software title our newest models use when accessing via All Programs/ HP/ HP Photosmart 6510 Series/ HP Photosmart 6510 Series or the printer icon or the desktop icon is simply 'HP software'.
First run the following utility and let me know what results you have

Win 8 - Photosmart c4580 not scan with wifi miss HP Solution Center

My printer is the Photosmart c4580, and i have the Windows 8 64-bit OS.
I can print throw my wi-fi connection, But i can't scan.
If i want scan i must plug the usb cable (10meters long because the printer is in the other room).
I want to see the ink level and i can't because i i don't have the HP Solution Center in win8.
Try installing the win7 drivers and Solution Center (PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe) (Proprieties - run win7 mode), and the program crashes.
What can i do for scan using my wifi connection and installing HP Solution Center

Missing hp solution center.. please help..

hi everyone, new here.. i just bought a new deskjet D4360.. i'm using a XP professional .. i'll tell the story of what i did and went through till my current condition..
it started with the time when i first tried to install my printer, installation went well, in the end i was able to excess the printing preferences and print. However i could not excess hp solution center.. everytime i double-clicked i, my processor will work a little and then nothing happens after that.. no matter how many times i double-clicked it, nothing happens..i then updated my driver and software with the software and driver package from the hp website.. with no improvement to the situation... still after double-clicking no response..
now what i did; i opened up my error log and found out that the file flash9b.ocx was not registered.. so i tried 2 things to get it registered.. one was to type in (regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\flash9b.ocx) and then (regsvr32 flash9b.ocx) in the Run program at the start button since the previous one did not work i typed the next one.. instead it said the file did not exist.. =/... [ i got this from the adobe forum] .. Next, I figured since it had something to do with adobe flash, i decided to update that..nothing happened.. i updated to the 10th version.. which then lead me to the next problem.....
then i double-clicked the hp solution center icon, it started an installation process (this happened after i have the 10th version of the adobe flash )...i dont know why but that happened, since it needed the cd to comtinue, i provided it... then during the process, it said the flash9b.ocx failed to register.. and at the same time another window opened up and said that there was no hp device detected and hp solution center will close.. then i pressed it again but this time it said it cannot detect a hp device.. but but, my computer has recognised that the printer is ready to be used, i could even print..! ..=/..
then i thought that perhaps something really is wrong with the setup file i used, so i used the unistall_L3.bat file in the cd to cleanse my pc of any remaining hp software and driver ( learned this from the hp website ) . then i installed the full package software and driver from the hp website... i guess i did it wrong, cause after the installation my computer did not recognise the printer.. not sure what happened..
then i decided to get myself back to sqaure 1 since im not going anywhere, .. so i used the unistall_L3.bat file again and then this time installed with my installation cd.. but i dont know why, the installation did not go the same way.. my computer could recognise the printer and i could print etc... but i cant seem to find any of the other files which was there when i first installed, i.e hp solution center and hp digital imaging.. even after using the full package software from the hp website.. i cant seem to get any of those.. and the package installation says that i already have a new version of software installed in my computer....=/ .. so this is where im stuck at the moment..
someone please point out where i did wrong or something i can do to fix the situation.. i want to be able to use the hp solution center to use it's functions.....

Success adopting Azure when features are missing and working wtih Azure solution providers

Hello everybody
I though I would give it a shot asking a very generic question in the product forums. I am trying to gauge how successful are customers adoption/migrating their data centers to Azure and if they find themselves in situations where they feel like there
are features missing in the product that prevent them for successfully migrate from their existing solutions.
Have you found yourself in the spot where you feel like a fesature is missing tha keeps you from migrating?
Have you tried working with Azure Certified Partners/Solution providers to fill in the gaps the product has out of the box (i.e building extensions using the SDKs)?
Have you found yourself in situations where you wanted to escalate your feature requests to Azure product teams? Did you find a way to do that?
Have you end up in a spot where you could not fill the gaps with Azure and ended up moving to non MS solutions? Did you find good competitive comparison info to drive your decision?

After upgrade from SP2010 Foundation to Enterprise, services/features are missing

I recently upgraded the SharePoint 2010 Foundation, that was installed with TFS 2012, to Enterprise. The upgrade went through. The Products and Configuration wizard ran through to 100% without errors, however there are no Enterprise services available
on the Services on server page.
The main ones that I'm missing (that I really wanted to use) are:
Secure Store
Managed Metadata
Web analytics
SharePoint Server Search
Excel Services
These ones are there (these are non foundation as far as I'm aware)
PerformancePoint services
User Profile and User Profiles Sync
Business Data Connectivity
Also the service applications for the missing services are also missing, where as the services applications for the present services are available to be provisioned.
I've tried re-running the following commands:
Psconfig -cmd helpcollections
Psconfig -cmd services -install
Psconfig -cmd installfeatures
Psconfig -cmd applicationcontent -install
I've also run that Enable upgraded features option in Central Admin that goes through the web apps/Site collections and sites and enables all the enterprise features. That did nothing.
Any ideas?

Install-SPService
That will install all services on the farm.

New features are missing in Photoshop cc update

My software says Photoshop CC is up to date, However, I don't see the new features:
No smart guides
No Font view in document when I hover over a font in the selection list.

Use menu help>About Photoshop see if you using Photoshop CC 14.2.1 or Photoshop CC 2014. They are separate both on you system you may well be in CC 14.2.1 and not CC 2014..

I am very active on the UX side lately.
I have been using photshop since the very first days, and above all i am a adobe fan, you guys do amazing stuff.
However, some parts could be better in my oppinion, here is a list.
please look into these features, they will save hours, if not days on a year basis!
1.Make psd files with a "location".
- so that a certain psd file's save for web or other exports "know" where they are situated on the server or pc.
I often work on 5 projects simultaniously and each time i have to save/export i need to go back to the location -that particular file- is in.
(this isn't hard to code) but a mere UX improvement that will save countless of hours. It's a simple xml file (like you do with flash or lightroom) to store its data.
Hire me, and i'll code this.
2.smart save for web
This is an extention of the first pointer
When you group layers (in my oppinion) it would we great to be able to toggle the visibility of groups during the save for web dialogue is shown.
why? I do alot of mockups in photoshop and saving them for web is a totally different game. Its tedious and slow to save 5 different states/designs (and I made actions for it...still its slow)
So my suggestion is to make toggle boxes or a layer panel inside the save for web, so users can easely switch of groups of layers they don't want to show or visa versa.
Again this isn't hard to code- why? because the layer panel is allready inside of photoshop, all we need is a toggle button to "show or hide during the save for web"
- yes i could (and i do this) go back, toggle my groups and do save for web again: but lets be fair. when you do this with a 150+ layer document (even in 72dpi) its slow.
Bug fixes:
When you group layers and lock that group, you still are able to select them with auto select

Some of the Intune features are missing

we have Microsoft Intune as part of the EMS subscription
weird stuff. We don't see the Protection, Updates and the License buttons in the Admin page
but the features do exist there in the backstage. we have policies for updates, we see the update approval on the administration pane, when I install the agent on a Windows 7\8 it installed the forefront client, we have alerts... etc...
we log on with a global admin \ tenant admin and the result is the same
what can be the reason for that ? :/

That is a new feature we implemented last November. If you don't have any PC's enrolled we won't show you those features until you do. Once a PC is enrolled the features will automatically appear. It's to keep the the UI simple and clear
for customers who are only using MDM features.

Notes in the Notes app are missing after upgrade to iOS 8

I upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 8. After the upgrade, all of the notes stored in the Notes app are missing. The notes were not associated with an email address, as I believe they were stored on the "On my iPhone" account. I also tried restoring the phone from a backup prior to the upgrade, but that did not restore the notes. To be clear, the notes app is there, but the notes inside it are missing. Solutions?

I am using Windows XP on this desktop computer. On my laptop, running Windows Vista, Firefox 4 has all the updates advertised. Why is this happening? How do I fix?

HP Solutions Center doesn't work for my C7280

I have a C7280 All In One and just got a new PC running Windows 7 (32 bit). Now when I try to run the Solutions Center to scan a picture it says that I don't have the SW installed so I went to the site and downloaded the entire SW suite for my printer and I still get the sam error message when I click on the icon on my desktop. I have tried to use the Help function on the Start/Program/HP menu and that doesn't help either. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the entire SW suite to get it to run or what? Please help. Thanks

I see that you are having an issue with installing and running the HP full feature software.
I suggest that you do a complete uninstall of the software and drivers. Please remove the usb cable from the computer and the printer.
If you are using a Firewall or anti virus protection, please disable before going to the following link and downloading.
Here is the link for the HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers. This is specifically for Windows 7 32 bit.
Please save the file to your desktop so that it creates its own icon. Double click on the icon and follow the instructions. Please do not connect any cable to the printer or computer until the installation prompts you to do so.

HP Solution Center won't open for HP C7280 Printer

Photosmart C7280 and Vista 64 bit
First of all, I just wanted to say that before what's written below, I've not had an issue with this printer concerning printing/scanning/faxing.
Now, here is the problem. I just moved, and since setting up my computers and printer, I've not been able to successfully open Solution Center, nor can I scan or fax from this Vista 64 bit computer. I've installed the printer and can print successfully. I then try to open Solution Center to scan a document, but it tells me that no devices are found.The bottom line is that I'm kind of dead in the water when it comes to scanning from this computer, which is extremely important for business purposes. So what do I do now to fix something that was working well enough before???

If that does not resolve the issue, post back and let me know if there are any symbols other than green check marks and what they are next to of course. The wrench is not always easy to spot as the wrench and the check mart are in the green circle.
If you see only green check marks (), the tool did not find any problems.
If you see green wrenches (), the utility identified an issue and corrected it automatically.
If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped.
If you see a red X (), follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.
