Cannot complete an in-app purchase

This is my first IPad. I downloaded the Wildlife Photographic app from the Itunes Newsstand. I was able to make an in-app purchase of a two-month subscription with no problems. Later in the day ( and also this morning) I tried to purchase another issue of the magazine offered in the app. The purchase could not be completed and the message said to contact itunes support. This has happened 3 times now. Is there a solution to this type of problem? Thanks to all.

    This seems to be an ongoing issue with no resolution or information from apple. Several game sites have posted that they are experiencing problems with many users.
    I have raised a few support requests, received my email to say they will get back to me in 24 hours, but the cases are always closed with no response.
    When I look up the case number it's always closed, and nobody ever gets back to me.
    I have never had a moments trouble with the google app store, but have been battling with apple for a while. I am not really sure where to turn to solve this. I have a decent balance in the account in vouchers so it should be easy to complete the transactions.

    Brother please follow these steps
    1) SignOut from Your apple itunes account
    2) Again Sign In Your iTunes Account
    And  you can turn off your wifi/internet from your iphone and again turn it on

    That's a tricky one... this is a pure guess, but I suppose as a long shot you could try contacting Tunes Support at http://www.apple.com/support/iTunes/ww

    We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    If you are getting an error message then what is the full text of it ?
    The temporary store holding charge is standard, it should disappear within a few days or so.

    You can either try again later to see if it works or you can contact itunes support.

    - go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
    - click on your country's flag
    - click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
    - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    - then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    Have you had success in the past purchasing other in-game extras outside of clash of clans?
    Check in Settings > General > Restrictions first, and to make sure that "in App Purchases" is not disabled.
    If this is not disabled go to expresslane.apple.com and open a support ticket with iTunes support.
