Components of badi

hi gurus
what are the components of badi

Hi
Tcodes:
  SE18: BADI Definition.
SE19: BADI Implementation.
For One Badi def we able to provide n no.of implementation.
Components:
1)  Attributes:
      we found Name of the Business add in class,
   we have a chance tick or untick the Multiple use checkbox for custom badi def and
Filter type: Fiter type always should be dataelement and search help needs to be attached.
2)Interface:
   we found the inteface name ofor the badi def.
   In this interface provided the method definitions.
   we need to provide implementation with these method
using se19 tcode.
3)Fcodes and Subscreens.
   These should be used when we add our own screen to
SAP statndard tcode.
example:
  There is a business demand in ABC corporation . when the user will post goods receipt via transaction MIGO, he should enter same date in document date and posting date field.
Else, an information message will ask the user to do that.
The Bill of Lading number should start with ‘NP’
You, as a SAP Technical Consultant, is asked to translate this idea into the appropriate section of the code.
Your manager has asked you to use BADI instead of any user or field exits to implement the idea.
Go to the program behing MIGO and search for the phrase : CL_EXITHANDLER=>GET_INSTANCE in the main program. This will show you the BADIs which can be implemented by you to incorporate the business demand.
So, you get to know now that there are two BADIs which can come to your use. They are:
MB_MIGO_BADI
MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI.
Now, you have to go to transaction SE18 and explore each of the BADIs to find out the suitable one. In fact, the suitable one will have a method in it for which import/export parameters should have some reference to document/posting dates.
On investigation, you will find that in BADI : MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI, there is a method : ITEM_MODIFY which uses : is_gohead as import parameter. This has the structure GOHEAD which contains the fields for document and posting date as columns.
Now, you will implement this BADI. Go to transaction SE19 and create an implementation for the BADI. In the code for the method, write the following:-
method IF_EX_MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI~ITEM_MODIFY .
DATA : L_INI(2) TYPE C.
IF is_gohead-bldat ne is_gohead-budat.
message i398(00) with 'Both posting and document dates should be same'.
ENDIF.
L_INI = IS_GOHEAD-FRBNR+0(2).
TRANSLATE L_INI TO UPPER CASE.
IF L_INI NE 'NP'.
MESSAGE I398(00) WITH 'Bill of Lading should start with NP'.
ENDIF.
endmethod.
If it  is helpful rewards points

  • IPod Touch 5.1.1 no longer sync'ing w/ iTunes 11.1.3(8). . . .Bad Battery ???

    Three day ago my iPod began acting up in a major way.  The battery charging symbol within the battery indicator is no longer showing the iPod being charged when plug in to my MacBook Pro 5.1 via one of my two USB ports.  A new Apple iPod cable was purchased thinking it was a bad wire or pin not making the proper contact with this device.  The same conditions are happening with this new cable.  I have several other peripheral devices and those devices are working and are connecting to my MBP's USB port without any issues.  I have noticed for the past six months my iPod Touch 3rd Gen has been showing signs in needing longer charging times and seems to drain quicker than it used too.  The iPod for the past two nights have been charging for more than eight-hours each night and is sporadic as if it deciding "I'm I fully or 30% charged?" Although subtle, It seems to jump within the sliding battery scale when the device is powered off for a while.  Sometime showing 80% charged when used for a few hours to 30% charged when used for ten minutes.  My iPod is now over three-years old and I think it is time for a new battery!
    But, in all honesty, not sync'ing with iTunes is it more than just have a new battery professionally installed? Or are there other electronical problems/components going bad with these devices?  What else can be wrong other than a new battery or will a new battery fix all what is mentioned above? Please be very honest and technical if needed, Thanks!

  • Fire wire ports do not work

    Here's a little history with the problem I'm having. At first (about 1 year ago) my fire wire ports became intermittent. They would work one second, then they wouldn't. I took my Mac in to be serviced, at the time it was still under warranty, but the techs couldn't find anything wrong. I brought it home but still had the problem. I figured maybe my components were bad. 1 year later I'm still having the problem. So I took it back, to the same people, this time they dug a little deeper with their tests and found that my logic board was bad. Everything else on the computer seems to work great, just not either fire wire port.
    The questions I have are:
    1) has anyone encountered this problem?
    2) when looking at the logic board which number is used for the part
    number? Mine says 820-1592-A, also 630-6483 is listed just under the
    bar code. I'm trying to locate another, so far unsuccessfully.
    3) do you think Apple would honor the warranty since Authorized techs
    didn't find the problem the first time when my MAC was under warranty?
    Any info will be helpful. Thanks

    I had an issue with my FireWire ports not working right before my logic board died. I was able to resurrect the FW situation by unplugging everything from the back of the G5 (including the power cord) and letting it sit for 15 minutes. This caused a reset and then FW started working again -- alas for nothing when the logic board croaked a few weeks later.
    By all means contact Apple -- since you did have it checked under warranty they might be able to work with you. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. My repair put me back $900 + (I did not have an AppleCare extended warranty, since I have never had any of my previous Macs fail before).

  • Enhancement details required...adding order header material as component in Process Order

    Hi,
    I am creating a process order for a qty of 10. Now when I go to components list header material with order qty (means 10) is added in the components list by the system through some enhancement...how to check which BAPI or BADI is doing this.....can somebody guide me....
    Thanks
    Kumar

    Dear Kumar,
    Find BAPI:
    Get the package of the transaction and in SE84 choose the required hierarchy and input the package and execute you will get list of BAPIs. and see given threads: LIST OF BAPI FOR PRODUCTION PLANNING MODULE and BAPI to change production order components
    Find BADI: Using Repository Information System (TCODE- SE84)
    Go to “Maintain Transaction” (TCODE- SE93).
    Enter the Transaction code( which you want to find BADI) and Click on the Display push buttons.
    Get the Package Name.
    Go to TCode: SE84->Enhancements->Business Add-inns->Definition
    Enter the Package Name and Execute.
    Best of luck

  • Problem with a repair

    Recently I had sent in my macbook for repairs. Apparently several components went bad and were replaced.
    However, when I had sent it in there was an OS X disk in the disk drive. When I got it back from Apple the OS X disk was gone.
    Anyone know how I would go about retrieving this lost disk?

    Try to contact the apple store and or apple care and tell them your problem.
    They could agree to give you the replacement if you indicate that there is an OS disk stuck in the macbook when you shipped (written on the list of service request) it or they might deny it if you don't have proper documentation to prove it.
    Hope they are generous enough to give you the replacement without further asking too deep.
    Good Luck.

  • Battery Error 601 and Notebook will not boot

    My notebook will not bootup anymore.  It was running fine then I just closed the screen and went to class.  Usually this just puts it to sleep.  When I opened it back up, it would not start...  It was totally dead.  When I plug it into the charger, I see a "Pimrary Battery Error" 601 displayed for a few seconds and then it starts to bootup.  It never fully boots-up, it shuts off totally before I get past the little HP splash.
    When I plug the charger into the notebook, I see the charging orange LED for a little while, but then it switches to white and then back to orange and then totally off.   I have tried multiple chargers and it always does the same thing.
    Since the notebook will not boot even when plugged in, I am suspecting something in the charging system/main board more than the battery.  Is there anyway to tell which components are bad?
    This is an almost 2 year old Envy 4-1215dx, Product ID: D1A99UA#ABA
    It's been a great notebook upto now...  Any ideas on what to check and how?
    Steve

    Here's a link with an explaination and troubleshooting steps for the error you are experiencing.
    HP Battery Alert
    You can also try a Hard Reset in order to get you PC to boot long enough to run a diagnostics.
    Hard Reset
    You may also try with the battery removed and just the AC Adapter.
    If nothing seems to work you can always try a new main battery since they usually are fairly inexpensive. Just Google the Part# shown on your battery.

  • Not possible to restore after update n95 to v20.0....

    N95 on V20.0.013 / PC suite 6.82.26.0
    Installed are some games, Papyrus, Handy Safe, Quickoffice, Maps - Western Europe and many more...
    I made a backup of my internal memory using content copier
    Update the phone, no problems
    Perform a restore - stuck at 69%
    Tried an older backup, same problem
    Took the phone to the office, other PC, other backups, tried to restore, same problem.
    Emptied the phone with reset to factory setting.
    Performed the firmware installation again... problem remains
    I have lost most programs and contact data....
    Does anyone has any suggestions.
    Thanks in advance
    Hans Goris

    Firstly the latest version of PC suite is 6.86. You should get and install it.
    Now try restoring again except this time unselect all other components except one. Restore each and every component of the restore one by one this way. You wil probably find that one of the components is bad and fails to restore and is the cause of your previous complete restore failing. At least now you would have restored everything else apart from that bad component.

  • G5 randomly shuts off. What is problem, how do I fix it? Is it software?

    My G5 Isight randomly turns off. I ran diagnostics on hardware, but it didn't help. Is it software related, and do I have to re-load the original software? If I need to get it fixed, best way to get that done? Tips appreciated.

    I am trying to figure out how to say this in a way that makes sense…
    There were actually two REA programs, one of which applied to certain first generation 17 inch and 20 models of the iMac G5 family where specific symptomatic behavior was present, the other only for the second generation 20 inch model. The first REA covered both a power supply and the logic board, the second covered the power supply only.
    In the first case, though both components were changed by service providers, seldom were both components actually bad. The primary issue involved defective electrolytic capacitors on the logic board.
    The serial number ranges are of no consequence, because both programs ended almost a year ago, and neither covered machines which were otherwise eligible if more than three years had passed from the date of first sale.
    It's relatively easy to determine if you are affected by bad capacitors, and if you write to the electronic mail address in my Public Profile I will reply with a short guide as to how to make this determination. It's not likely both a power supply and a logic board, although both conditions are sometimes present. If you are affected by a bad logic board, only refurbishing or replacing your board will correct the issue. If you write, include the serial number of your machine so that we can narrow the range of issues, and determine it's service history.
    The refurbishment process costs $ 189.00 and the power supply is typically $ 139.00 to replace. As I indicated early, it is seldom the case that both parts are at fault.

  • Laptop slows down after about 6 hrs.

    I have a Satellite M500-ST6444 with Windows 7, 64 bit.It is about 17 months old. After it is on about 6 hrs., windows live mail goes very slow, when switching between emails. And same for explorer 9. When try to open another program, it takes many minutes to load. The wheel (old hourglass) just keeps spinning. Fan is running at 64% and cpu temp is about 64%. It takes about 30 minutes to get it to shutdown. AAfter reboot, all is ok, for about 6 hrs. It started doing this about 3 weeks ago. Any ideas? Thanks, Howie

    Satellite M500-ST6444
    Let's make some tests after things slow down, Howie.
    What happens when you boot into Safe Mode?
       Start your computer in safe mode
    Also, what happens when you boot normally into another account. If necessary, create one.
       Create a user account
    Don't discount the possibility that your hard drive is failing. Components going bad tend to malfunction when they warm up. That would account for the slowdown as reads and writes must be repeated. Keep your backups up to date.

  • Various questions (GridBagLayout, Showing Panel, Paste)

    Hi everybody,
    I'm quite new to GUI and swing programming and I'm having some problems. I'm trying to use a GridBagLoyaout, to add Components I use the following method:
    protected void add(Component c, int posx, int posy, int lenx, int leny, int weightx, int weighty){
         GridBagConstraints constraints = new GridBagConstraints();
         constraints.gridx = posx;
         constraints.gridy = posy;
         constraints.gridwidth = lenx;
         constraints.gridheight = leny;
         constraints.weightx = weightx;
         constraints.weighty = weighty;
         constraints.fill = GridBagConstraints.NONE;
         constraints.anchor = GridBagConstraints.WEST;
         add(c, constraints);
    }this method is in an abstract class which extends JPanel and which is extended by all of my panels.
    About that I have to say that there is a panel which contains other panel, in this way:
         JTextField name = new JTextField(40);
         JTextField surname = new JTextField(40);
         JTextArea notes = new JTextArea(4, 50);
         JPanel address = new AddressPane();
         JPanel[] phones = {new PhonePane(), new PhonePane(), new PhonePane(), new PhonePane()};
         JButton add = new JButton("Aggiungi");
         JButton cancel = new JButton("Annulla");
         JButton delete = new JButton("Cancella");
         JButton search = new JButton("Cerca");
         JButton edit = new JButton("Modifica");
         JButton remove = new JButton("Elimina");I add the declared component to the "main panel" using tese methods, which call the previous described add method
    private void addMandatoryButtons(){
         add(delete, 2, 4+phones.length, 1, 1, 0, 0);
         add(cancel, 3, 4+phones.length, 1, 1, 0, 0);
    private void addPanes(){
         add(address, 0, 2, 4, 1, 0, 0);
         address.setBorder(BorderFactory.createTitledBorder(BorderFactory.createEtchedBorder(), "Indirizzo"));
         for(int i=0;i<phones.length;i++){
              add(phones, 0, 3+i, 4, 1, 0, 0);
              phones[i].setBorder(BorderFactory.createTitledBorder(BorderFactory.createEtchedBorder(), "Telefono " + String.valueOf(i+1)));
    protected void addTextFields(){
         add(surname, 1, 0, 3, 1, 40, 0);
         add(name, 1, 1, 3, 1, 40, 0);
    private void addTextAreasWithBorders(){
         JPanel notesPanel = new JPanel();
         notesPanel.setBorder(BorderFactory.createTitledBorder(BorderFactory.createEtchedBorder(), "Note"));
         notesPanel.add(notes);
         notes.setLineWrap(true);
         add(notesPanel, 0, 3+phones.length, 4, 1, 0, 0);
    In the AddressPane and Phone Frame I add the components, in the same way, using these methods:
    protected void addTextFields(){
         add(street, 1, 0, 3, 1, 30, 0);
         add(number, 5, 0, 1, 1, 5, 0);
         add(zip, 1, 1, 1, 1, 7, 0);
         add(town, 3, 1, 1, 1, 20, 0);
         add(country, 1, 2, 5, 1, 30, 0);
    private void addCombo(){
         Province[] lista = AddressBookManager.current().getAllProvinces();
         province.setEditable(true);
         for(int i=0; i < lista.length; i++)
              province.addItem(lista.getCode());
         add(province, 5, 1, 1, 1, 2, 0);
    protected void addTextFields(){
         add(prefix, 1, 0, 1, 1, 8, 0);
         add(number, 3, 0, 1, 1, 15, 0);
         add(note, 5, 0, 1, 1, 50, 0);
    private void addCheckBox(){
         add(cellulare, 6, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0);
    And the result being is really bad...
    Apart the labels the other components are bad sized, if the window is not enlarged at the maximum the JTextFields are as short as they cannot be seen; being the window enlarged the pane is not shown as rectangle, but it's a kind of polygon made of different rectangles one on another.
    What is my fault? What do I miss?
    Then I have another question: I have a kind of desktop and in order to open a "window" I call this method
    public void openWindow(JPanel panel){
         this.panel = panel;
         getContentPane().add(panel, BorderLayout.CENTER);
         repaint();
    }But why I don't see the newly added panel until I resize the desktop window??
    Last but not least question, I'm trying to implement a paste emthod, but how do I know where I have to paste having more than one JTextComponent? How do I get to know where is the caret?
    I tried with the methods isFocusOwner(), getCaret()!=null and getCaretPosition()>=0.
    I hope to get answerd to all of my questions soon, thanks a lot in advance.
    Best regards.

  • PowerBook 150 - no display, but screen is okay

    I just got an old PowerBook 150.
    When I turn it on, I dont hear a start-up chime, but I do hear the hard drive spinning like it's loading up the System OS which I believe is happening.
    However, the screen is blank (eg, no desktop displayed), but the screen does have a backlight that I change change the brightness high or low...
    I've heard this could be a common problem with such an old laptop, particularly this one.
    Anyone got any ideas on what to troubleshoot this?

    Hi,
    I guess that you have tried resetting both the Power Manager and the PRAM without effect.

    It may not be a bad idea to carefully examine all boards in the computer (use a magnifying glass). Look for leaking/cracked electrolytic capacitors, other damaged/discoloured components, and bad solder joints. Are all cables OK? Do not forget the circuits near the LCD and on the board with a loudspeaker.

  • The most expensive AppleCare

    Why is PowerBook/MBP's AppleCare the most expensive? Even more expensive than Mac Pro's ! What kind of technology justifies the high price?

    iBook fan,
    In addition to what has already been posted...
    Where many components on Desktop computers can be replaced piece by piece, Powerbooks and MBPs have component "assemblies" that must be replaced, and at a higher cost.
    For example, the GPU and VRAM are built-in on the logic board, as is the processor. If just one of these components goes bad, the entire logic board must be replaced.
    If any part of the keyboard, the keyboard backlighting, the trackpad or the trackpad button goes bad, the entire top case must be replaced.
    I'm willing to bet that the entire display must be replaced if the iSight camera goes bad.
    All this, plus there's the battery to consider. Overall, repair costs and vulnerability are higher with any portable than they are with any desktop computer.

  • Hierarchy of IS Banking

    Hi Expert,
    Can any one help me about IS-Banking hierarchy. what are the basic settings need  to configure for IS Banking.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nagesh.

    Dear Nagesh,
    Sorry, the text editor does not really offer line breaks, so it might look awful.
    Can you give more clues which area of the IMG you are looking into exactly?
    As you are ware, IS Banking is offering a number of components, which have their own basic settings and recommended sequence of moving on.
    Let's be specific, are you looking into the IS Banking part
    + Transactional Banking on the banking services platform
    + Analytical Banking on the banking services platform
    + Bank Customer Accounts or the Risk and Limit Analyzer on ECC 6.0?
    Since SAP does not in general publish a full configuration guide, the best approach to acquiring an answer about
    the logical hierarchy of the IMG items to run sequentially in a recommended way, are
    + training (everybody loves this recommendation, right?)
    + working out an own version of a sample configuration guide along an IDES or other reference/self-study system
    + learn from colleagues and start asking questions (that's what we are doing here)
    As long as you do not look by chance into the following
    + the hierarchy of organizations/branches in the SAP Org Management
    (where the answer would be, take a deep dive into Org Management)
    but into the logical hierarchy of the IMG items to run sequentially in a recommended way
    then here is a quick guide which is in principle valid for both
    + Transactional Banking on the banking services platform
    and
    + Bank Customer Accounts on ECC 6.0
    Hope this helps a bit.
    If this does not answer your question, then please rephrase and try to be specific.
    regards
    Ralf
    1. Start with setting up the application scope before doing so for the bank's own procedures and customer procedures
    1.1 Activate all components, functions, BADI's, BTE's, country settings needed
    (e.g. for Deposits Management: PLM, PCO, MCM, CMS if needed plus their BTE's/BADI's plus partner components plus etc.)
    1.2 If appropriate, connect a Solution Manager instance with the application system for Business Process Modelling and a link to application configuration
    2. Continue with setting up the bank's own procedures before doing so for the customer procedures
    2.1 FI01, and a file feed to bank directory
    2.2 Org Management, the branch directory and source for workflow
    2.3 User Management/pfcg, Authorizations, Roles, Profiles
    2.4 The GL settings might come next
    2.5 The End-of-Day settings might come next
    2.6 Item Management might come next, with the settings for transaction types, statements, counters etc.
    2.7 Contract Management might come next in full
    2.8 Product Management might come next, with the Financial Conditions workbench, Limits first
    2.9 Then determine the product attribute hierarchy next, before
    2.10 Building up the product defaults and restricted values in the Product Configurator
    3. Cross-Application Procedures > SAP Business Partner
    and remaining configuration
    After that, keeping a specific sequence is no longer really essential.
    Before, as listed above, that sequence avoids a lot of iterations and questions or even locking in some configuration which would have done differently if known the impact before.

  • PM8M-V no beep no boot Solid Red LED

    I've had the PC I've been using for about 2.5 years, no problems.
    Last week a lightning storm killed all the AGP/PCI functionality of my old motherboard. At first, I thought it killed my AGP video card because the internal video to the old motherboard worked fine. This is where I decided to buy an MSI PM8M-V from CompUSA.
    Tried installing the board today. I literally just powered down the PC with the OLD Board in it and it all was working fine. The two motherboards seem to be similar in quality and both have internal sound and video.
    With the new motherboard hooked up when I press Power the CPU fan comes on, and the LEDS on the front of the tower come on. The RED LED [Which I believe is the HDD LED, will have to double check] comes on and stays lit. After about 20 seconds or so the system powers down. I get no beeps or anything. I doubt any of the components are bad because they were all just working 1 hour ago.
    Does this point to a specific problem? I don't think the CPU is overheated as I have thermal paste the Heatsink fits snug.
    Suggestions?

    Ok, an update.
    I have an Antec PSU 300W that appears to be working well.
    At the moment I have 1gig of unknown brand DDR memory
    I have a P4 Prescott 3.0GHz [I don't recall any of the other details as this PC is several years old]
    All hardware pulled from a perfectly working system with the exception of an AGP slot on the old motherboard.
    The old motherboard has nearly the exact same features and appears to be of very comparable quality.
    I hooked the old motherboard up with the processor, memory, and same PSU and it booted to the BIOS just fine.
    This new MSI motherboard WILL NOT boot to the BIOS with the exact same equipment installed. I have double and triple checked.
    Is there anything else I should do before contacting CompUSA for a return. I've seen some recommendations about jumping pins to clear the CMOS or something.
