DRM Intel Errors

Hi !
From a fresh installation, I got multiple errors during booting process.
I activated mmio_debug=1 as suggested into journalctl logs entries.
This is the log (I got 25 times similar logs during log process)
Appreciate any idea

I suspect passing the kernel parameter "nomodeset" would avoid the boot-time errors (worth checking at least for diagnostic purposes).  I don't know if this would impact later loading when X starts.
I also had all sorts of intel graphics related issues several weeks ago.  Switching from the default 'sna' to 'uxa' acceleration avoided all the errors, but did lead to reduced performance.  This reduction, however, was only noticable in a couple very graphics-intensive programs I use (bioacoustic analysis with an 'interactive' multi-layered spectrogram).  Luckily for me, 'sna' has worked fine since 3.17.  But following some of the history of these issues it seems to affect each bit of hardware differently so it is really hard to compare notes other than suggesting alternative acceleration methods as a potential fix/work-around.

I tried having my own 10-monitor.conf in xorg but it didn't work
Please, does anybody know how can I fix this?
    Thanks in advance

Sorry for that and thank you for your super fast response!!
Should I try it in the file 10-monitor.conf in xorg? I added both lines in the monitor section of this file but it didn't work. Maybe my file is wrong and it's not helping (mysteriously my white conky color now looks purple).
Also please how do I use code blocks? so I can post my 10-monitor.conf file?

This starts at 4s into boot and ends, as you see, about 344 seconds in, at which point I get this message:
    [  344.724585] radeon 0000:01:00.0: DVI-I-2: Ignoring invalid EDID block 1.
I'm using a dual-link DVI monitor (QNIX QX2700) and obviously am using the open-source radeon driver that comes with the kernel.
Any help would, of course, be appreciated. It could possibly be that my monitor is just sending a bogus EDID, so solutions which tell radeon to just ignore the EDID right away are also very welcome.

The only radeon module parameter I can think of that has something to do with this is hw_i2c. Maybe try setting that to 0 or 1?

  • Adobe DRM Activator error (server code 24)

I updated to the most recent version of digital editions, but uninstalled it due to the fact that it does not support Palm.

    Contact customer support.
The knowledge base states that Adobe is aware of this issue and I have to contact support.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times but I had the same error message.
I have open two open web cases (#0180655783 on 1/8/09 and #0201592044 on 12/22/09). They both state: "open pending response from Adobe", but I can't get a response (although my case do note that they have been updated???).
When I contacted Adobe via phone they informed me that I could only get assistance by opening a web case. I was assured that I would get a response within 24 Hours! What a bunch of crap!
I really have to have access to my ebooks. I have quite a lot of money invested in books that I cannot access. Some of them I need
    for school.
    Please HELP!

well I'm guessing this isn't a question about Adobe Digital Editions 1.5.. I'm guessing your using some older version of Acrobat Reader, yes?
Please post your ebook reader version, and also do you happen to have a Palm device?

  • Adobe DRM Activator error (client code 31); HTTP code 404. Fault location: 15

    dear all,
a few years ago I installed and configured Adobe Digital Editions. I bought some ebooks as well. Meanwhile I have switched my computer. And today I discovered my ebooks. I clicked on them and the system tells me that I have to install ADE and to activate the computer. So I successfully downloaded ADE installed it and activeated it.
ADE immediately shows me all the books I bought years ago. Then I clicked on the books I wanted to read. A window popped up which told me that the book is no more available - due to a changed path. I found no possibility to change an existing ADE configuration.
I opened ADE and added a book I bought by opening the option to add a file and openend the ebook on its new location. The ebook was loaded, authorized and I could read it. Clever - I thought. Thats the way to clean up my library. First lets delete all the ebooks in the library with the broken location. Afterwards lets add it via the option to add ebooks. Thats what I did. I deleted all the ebooks first. Afterwards I wanted to add all the books like I already did it with the first one. But - I no more could do that!
    This is what I get:
Your Adobe software could not be activated. HTTP error on Adobe DRM  Activator request. Adobe DRM Activator error (client code 31); HTTP code  404. Fault location: 15
Does this mean that ADE server does no more authorize my bought ebooks after I had deleted the broken-link-ones from my library?
I hope not ! - This would be awfull - all my books would be gone !!
I hope someone could follow my problem description and hope that there is a simple solution for that.
    Thanks,
    D.

a few years ago I bought a "C++ Primer" programming book from Amazon. The book is no longer downloadable from Amazon... the DRM version has gone to some other DRM format. THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST DIGITAL DRM BOOK.
I have not been able to read it although I shelled out a whoppy $45.00 USD. Adobe Digital Edition is stupid and find it awkward to use. I found one copy of the book on my old laptop that appears to be not corrupt. I'm now trying to read it from my desktop (its a 23 inch screen. Adobe suppport SUCKS, I've been at trying to open this DRM book for several Years now. The last time ADE kept kicking back "No internet connection" when I clearly have a one.
Now I'm getting this error pasted from ADE after adding the book to my library (<---stupid term for this but it is what it is). I JUST WANT TO OPEN THE BOOK I PAID FOR. I'm suppose to be able to open this book on SIX different PCs...WTF

  • DRM Intel i915 errors

    Hi,
After going out of blank mode, my external VGA monitor will randomly refuse to work (the primary laptop monitor works fine). This seems to be fixable only by rebooting.
Those errors show up in dmesg just after booting the computer :

    Hi gentledevil,
There is a similar thread here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=184857 and also a couple of bug reports [1]  [2]. Unfortunately there is no solution yet.

  • DRM-61045 : Error found for 11.1.2.4 version

    Hello Guys,
Recently I have joined oracle community and got really good feedback and help from all followers.
Hope we will stay connected and troubleshoot issues.
Right now I'm working on DRM installation & configuration of latest version 11.1.2.4 on Windows 2012 Standard R2.
I have everything configured but whenever tried register with EPM registry getting an error "DRM-61045: There is no running CSS bridge process for this application" .
When I had checked Event log, it was showing as error message:

Anybody have any idea, how should I resolved CSS bridges issue for current environment?
    Kind Regards,

I think we might have actually just identified this as a bug & this is being looked into at the moment. I've found over the past week or so that it does work if the CSS Bridge component is running on Server 2008 but the rest of the components are running on Server 2012. If you're also getting the error below in the event log on the machine where the CSS bridge is trying to start I think you've got the issue I've been having a look at:

In order to get the CSS bridge running on another Server 2008 box (which works as a temporary measure for me) you would need to:
    1. Install and configure foundation services on a separate Server 2008 machine
    2. Install the DRM CSS Bridge on the Server 2008 machine (but don't configure DRM configuration console).
    3. Configure CSS tab of DRM configuration console on Server 2012 box to point to the Server 2008 box (Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General > CSS Bridge Host).
    4. Ensure that DRM service is started on Server 2008 box then start the DRM service on Server 2012 box
    5. Hopefully you'll see the drm-netjnibridge-host.exe process start on the Server 2008 box if you check the task manager and you'll be able to use CSS users
I've tried every other possible permutation I could think of to get the drm-netjnibridge-host.exe process started on Server 2012 but without success. Hope this helps.

  • Apple DRM video error iOS 8

I upgraded my iPad to iOS 8.01. I am no longer able to view apple store purchased video via the Seagate Media application. https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/seagate-media/id431912202?mt=8
Previously when I tapped on a store bought video it would switch to Safari and I could proceed to watch the video. Under iOS 8 I now get a Mobile Safari DRM error and a suggestion that I authorize the iPad. I can confirm that I can view apple video through the standard videos application and that the iPad is authorized.
I have attempted to report the issue to Seagate however I note that on their app store details page of the Seagate Media application they have the following entry:
    What's New in Version 2.7.2.2 Posted sep 30, 2014
Due to issues in iOS 8, iTunes purchased videos cannot be played. We have reported this issue to Apple. Please help us by contacting Apple to raise the priority.
I am therefore, according to Seagate, at the mercy of Apple for this issue to be resolved. Is it possible for this issue to be addressed soon? I can only assume that other 3rd party providers have encountered similar issues.
    thanks,

Ok I guess I should have realised that Apple doesn't moderate these forums.
As far as Seagate is concerned they are clearly indicating that they believe that Apple has made a change to iOS which is not solvable within their application. The Seagate app exists because it links to their Wireless Plus Hard drive, this allows streaming of videos from the HDD to the iOS device and as indicated previously where it is an itunes video the seagate app would switch to Safari to play the file. Has anyone experienced similar issues with like applications? eg Corsair Voyager Air?

    Hi,
I installed DRM 11.1.2 for win32 on my laptop and when I tried to set up database connection (to 11g XE), I am getting error message:

Hi - have you made any progress?  I have a very similar problem.  When I uninstall Reader 9.3 I do not get the error and when I reinstall the error returns.  My log is below.  I'm running on xp and my problem occurs each time I restart the computer.  I thought UAC (user account control) was a Vista function?  So, I'm puzzled to see it in an xp log...

  • DRM login error

when we are log into DRM web client, we are getting a error "The server returned an error EPMCSS-00502"
Can any one help on this?

DOH, just realised that I replied to KKT rather than you 940091 Does the below seem to match your case?
Are these new users that you've just added to shared services by any chance then set up as DRM users? I have seen CSS errors in the past from users that have just been added when there hasn't been time for DRM to synchronize with shared services.
If new users have been added to shared services that you want to use immediately after adding them as CSS users in DRM then it's often best to restart the DRM service to ensure that everything is in sync.

  • Another DRM Activator (error) question...

    Hello gang,
I've got a user on a brand new machine this morning after the old one died abruptly.
We were able to obtain her ONE Adobe D/E document and just a handful of others docs from her old machine (not accessible any longer). But she only had this one Adobe Digital Editions file....... and now she cannot open it.....
We've installed Adobe D/E's latest (as of 2 hours ago) and are having one helluva time opening HER document citing the following error below....
    The Meat Buyers Guide.PDF
    Adobe DRM Error
    System: 7

    Class: 15
    Code: 57
Message: Error on request or response from server.

Scroll below or view error.log for more details.
Your Adobe software could not be activated.
The Adobe DRM Activator is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
    --- end ---
First it mentions not being available. But I can successfully launch http://adeactivate.adobe.com/  I grabbed from an Adobe KB, plus Library > Authorize Computer says she's OK (can't think of msg exactly, but it wasn't an error).
    Suggestions???
    BWB

Unfortunately that file is no longer recoverable.  That error code indicates that the file was encrypted using an ACS3 server.  Until Dec 15th 2009, it was possible to migrate ACS3 protected content using Adobe Digital Editions (1.5 or above - basically the past year and half), however on Dec 15th the Activation server for the ACS3 server was taken offline.  (see http://www.adobe.com/products/contentserver/migrate.html for details )
While this does not affect the ability to read content on a currently working machine, if that machine dies (as is the case for this user) you will no longer be able to read the content.
If the user thinks that they did migrate the file (by opening it up in ADE post 1.5) then make sure you are getting the correct copy of the file from the 'My Digital Editions' (it'll differ from the original by having the information needed to open it up in ADE now, added at the bottom of the file ).
