EA6900 Wireless Auto Channel Issue

EA6900 Firmware: 1.1.42.156465
Wireless auto channel doesn't properly analyze network for channel selection and spacing.
It's best with this device to use a third party software like free "Wifi Analyzer" for mobile devices to find out which channels are not use in at the location and manually set the EA6900 wireless channels.

Have you experienced this to your other wireless devices? If so, relocate the device at least a few feet away from the router, not too close nor too far. Make sure to use different name for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless settings. You may also change the wireless channel on your router to avoid interference. Preferred channels to use are 1, 6, 9 and 11 since they're considered as non-overlapping channels. If this doesn't help, you may reflash the router's firmware then reset the router for 30 seconds and reconfigure it.

  • EA6900 Remote desktop connect issues

I just did a computer upgrade now running window 7 and just connected the EA6900 wireless router for the shop. I am now having problems connecting from the home computer. A novice at this but I do try and do my own research. I have been unable to find anything that address my issue. And now not even sure it may be the router that is the issue. I did have the remote desktop hooked up before all the new equipment.
    Any guidance would be appreciated.

As long as their not the home additions then that should fine (pro or better).
It's best to go into DHCP settings and reserve an ip address for the host system. Then you can connect with remote desktop using the ip address to remove any chance of DNS or computer name issues.
Remember to Restart the computer you reserved an address for so it gets the address you
    Specified.

  • Auto Goods Issue not taking place

    Hii All
I hv Maintained backflush indictor in work center and in MRP2 view it is maintained as Workcenter
    decides whether to backfluch .
But the auto goods issue is not taking place when the production order is saved and confirmed.
The stock remains the same ..
Can anybody tell the reason for that
    Regds
    Rakesh

    Hi Rakesh,
what is the control key u have maintained in Routing?
if u r using Control key PP01 - Routing/Ref. op. set - internal proc., then after Production Order confirmation u have to do MB31- Goods Receipt for Order, with movement type 101.
If u r using PP03 Routing - in-house prod. auto. goods rct, then it accepts only single operation in a Routing (or) if u r having say more than one operations in a routing, then u have to give PP03 control key for the last operation.
    I think u got it...
revert back if u have doubts.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Should I spend the $280.00 to have Canon fix my 70D auto-focusing issue?

Should I spend the $280.00 to have Canon fix my 70D auto-focusing issue? Or just return back to my very much trusted Rebels?

Very much appreciate your taking time to send a response. As a new user I wasn't sure if anyone would bother. Allow me to add a little more to my first post. I fit in that niche between amateur and a person with clients. For over 10 years I have covered events for a non-profit agency capturing the look and feel of 20+ events per year and was given permission to purchase a few cameras over the year. My decision from the beginning was to use the Canon Rebel. Images were spot on and only once did I have an issue with one of them (after shooting outside events in 105 degree temps for 3 days).
So, when I retired a year ago it was for me a pretty simple choice to get a Canon for myself - especially since at that time the 70D was on the cover of magazines and was very highly touted. I also did a lot of desktop publishing and photo editing which helped me realize I wanted the best sensor, sharpness, resolution and lens I could afford - the 70D. My post was actually a result of reading many online responses including your very informative replies about the 70D focusing issues. My biggest concern is that I will spend several hundred dollars and maybe, just maybe get back a camera which captures better focused images, but still not as sharp as the lower end Rebels I was using. I had hoped to purchase my first "L" lens and really get excited - not repair the most expensive camera I've bought to date.
Thanks again and before it gets noted by someone...yes, I should have pushed this issue sooner and then at least the warranty would have covered the cost. An expensivve lesson learned. But I will have to add that at least one authorized Canon repair dealer told me they have had several folks feel like I did - that it was the photographer/me as a new user having the issue and not the camera. I now know it's my camera.
Let me clarify that I don't own a 70D, so anything I say about it is from watching what others have said, mainly in this forum. But it is disconcerting to see so much complaint about a camera that's supposed to have an innovative focusing system. One is strongly tempted to suspect that they went overboard in trying to make the camera serve both still  photographers and videographers.
That said, I'm not a great fan of the Rebel line, because they lack autofocus microadjustment and I have at least one otherwise excellent Canon lens that would be useless without it. (The 70D does have AFMA, a point in its favor.)
As far as spending the $280 for the repair, I understand why it's a hard call. If I were in your shoes and were convinced that Canon understands the issue and would fix it correctly and permanently, I guess I'd go for it. If you don't think they do, but fell that you need something a cut above the Rebels, this may be a good time to buy a leftover or refurbished 7D. Even though I now have a 5D3, I still use my 7D's a fair amount and have been very happy with them. And the 7D2 has gotten such a favorable reception that's it's almost bound to make more 7D's available at a decent price.

  • Whether it is possible to make auto goods issue below safety stock level

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I am implementing MRP for generating stock transfer Planned orders from a Main Mother Plant to different Plants. We have defined a Safety stock level for materials at main Plant level.
There is a auto program available for generating auto goods issue against Purchase orders.
System picks up Qty as long as unrestricted stock exists for the material during auto goods issue.
System dont pick up any Qty below safety stock level (manual goods issue works below safety stock level).
We are defining safety stock to meet sudden requirements and have time for new procurement.
But it should allow us to do auto goods issue below safety stock level.
Whether this is possible and what need to be done ?
    Thanks and Regards,
    R.Velmurugan.

    Hi Velmurugan,
I don't think auto GR is a problem from safety stock. Auto Gr can be done by two ways.
    1. Control key and assigning the control key in operation(Preferably in last operation)
    2. In production scheduling profile you can do it. You have to assign the production scheduling profile in material master work scheduling view.

  • Canvas all white but export works - channel issue?

    Hi There,
I have a weird preview issue where the canvas is completely blank. If I do a RAM preview I see the animation in the little window but still get a blank white screen when I play.
However, I can export the full movie and play it in Quicktime no problems. At first I thought it was the Channel Selector menu but it's set to "Color" - and I've tried everything in the menu.
It looks to be some sort of channel issue to me as the media previews are either all white or I can see alpha previews in red.
Any suggestions would be most welcome - obviously I tripped a preview mode?
    Cheers
    Ben

Sorry, got tied up with some other work but have just tried to start a new project and the same thing - all white?
Here is a link to a brand new test file: http://files.me.com/ben.sciascia/ap5qom
Note: I trashed the Motion prefs before creating this file - basically every file I edit and create is almost all white. It might also take a few seconds for it to turn white.
For the life of me I can't think what the heck is going on - it looks like a weird blend mode to me.

  • Auto-Brightness Issue. It randomly worked, then stop working all together.

    Auto-Brightness Issue.
It randomly worked before, now it's not giving off any brightness at all. Unfortunately it stopped coming on all together. I tried updating it Itunes and it comes back on but tried to restore my Ipod touch. After restoring it, it said "restore error -50" and the backlight STILL doesn't come on, not even a flicker. PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay I tried to restore using iTunes and a little screen came up stating: An error occured while restoring this iPod (-50). I don't know what that means. It still ask do I want to continue to restore, but always gives me that same message. To make matters even worse, there is no Apple store in my town. The nearest is 3 hours away.

  • X99 SLI plus and Quad Channel issues

Hey guys. I just managed to get some time to throw together my new rig, and am experiencing a very frustrating problem.
    I bought the ms9 x99 SLI plus, 4x4 gigs of G.Skill ripjaws 2666 ram, and a 5820k.
I initially put it all together, and it wouldn't post. After a process of elimination I discovered it would post with 12gb of RAM in slots 1,5, and 7. But as soon as I add one to 3, it's hooped. It also won't boot with 1,3,5, or 1,3. It will boot with 1,7, just 1, just 7 etc.
I've browsed the forum and found that this problem with these exact parts has arisen in the past, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. I also took a look at the CPU socket and didn't see any bent pins.
I installed windows fine, it runs fine, installed drivers etc (and its hella fast), but I do need that additional RAM for work. I'm planning on updating the BIOS tonight, and I tried clearing the CMOS early on.
Also I know its not the RAM as it boots with each stick by themselves. It seems to be a Quad channel issue, or a DIMM3 issue.
Any information is greatly appreciated. It's a super sexy board and I'd hate to have to dismantle, send it back, etc. I'm going to Hawaii in a week and was hoping to have all this working.
    Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately you will have to. There is no magic and this is obviously hardware issue, whether it's the board or CPU.
Start with inspecting CPU socket pins. You will need a magnifying glass or you can take clear macro pictures of the socket.
Best do it on a bench outside the case, any non-conductive surface will do, wood table, cardboard etc. don't use antistatic bag.
Be very careful when mounting/unmounting the CPU, do not touch socket pins and CPU contacts with your fingers.

OK, we are going to reserve an IP address for the printer.
We will start with printing the IP and MAC address from the printer.  Go to Seutp, Network and then Print Network Config Page.
Now, go into the settings of the router by typing 192.168.1.1 into a browser that is attached to the router.  The login is 'admin' and the password is 'password'.  Go to LAN Settings on the lower left.
On there we are going to reserve an IP address for the printer at the bottom of the page.  Click Add, type in the info you have from the printout (IP address, whatever name you want to give it, MAC address).  When you are done, click Apply.
After the router reboots, turn the power of the printer off, then back on.  Hopefully the troubles will go away.

  • Wireless and 7921G Issues.

    Hi everone.
    I have made a new installation with CUCMBE, a WLC CT5508, AP1262N x 70 and 7921 x 100.
The firmware of the phone is 1.4SE1
We use a SSID only for voice and the APs are maninly used for voice. The currently configuration in de WLC have every frecuency selecte "All", "auto" in 7921, QOS in "premium", WLL "Allowed". Everything else is per default.
I didn't configure QOS in the switches ports connected to APs because I though It wasn't necesary. The porsts are Giga and are coneccted to the core throught 10Gb fiber. May be that was a error.
Now everything is done but we have some issues.
    1. We experimente frecuently voice cuts (arround 5 secondos)
    2. The phones unregister/register of CM frecuenly.
That happend even when the user are speaking in the same place (a office site per example).
But the main problem was the costumer didn't want give the 7921 phones to the users before the number plan migration so now the system is working in production and the costumer is angry of corse (I alerted him)
    Anyway.
I going to change some configuration and I need your advise please. These are the steps.
    1. Change the frecuency just work in "b/g" in the WLC and the phone. (is it better "a" to 5Ghz?)
    2. Update the 7921G firmware to the 1.4(2)
    3. Change the WLL to Requiered.
    4. About the QOS in switches. Is that necesary in a WLAN enviromet?
And do you think another option to see/change?
    Another thing.
I have seen this post about optimice tha WLAN for voice. He say this.
    4.     Use 8 channels, configure the Cisco 7921G to only scan those 8 channels. (This is very important)

Someone know where can I configure that at the pohone? do I have to do something to the WLC?
    Thank you.
    Best Regards

Here is how to set the channels on a 7921G.
    1. Enable the web access in CUCM.. (Versions may differ)
You have to set "Web Access*" to Full, then check the box to the right.
Then enter a password in the "Admin Password" field
    2. Go to the phones web page  https://
          - Admin is the username
         - Enter the password you entered into CUCM
    3. Go to the Profile page, click Advanced in the upper right.
         - You then select the channels that you want to use.
Don't forget to save the profile.
You need to set the channels on the wireless network to match the channels that you are scanning on the phone. If the phone is not scanning the channel that you have on an AP, the phone will not see it.
I always trust DSCP instead of COS. COS can be lost going over an access port, but the DSCP will stay with the packet on any switch link.

  • Auto Restart Issue with Mac Book AIR

Have been using a Macbook PRO for sometime, no problem with Parallel installed. Due to frequent traveling, light and compact is my priority now, so I bought another AIR (11" i7 chip w/ Parallel installed as well). It was working flawlessly for few weeks, used it to download a couple of updates when I was in China (approx. 4Mbit/sec line speed) still no issues. UNTIL when I get back to my office and using WIFI updated another few stuffs, the AIR started to behave strangely with "your computer needs to restart due to problem ..."  the last few days it happened at least 10 times daily, so I did what I know with the usual Mac way,  reset PRAM, repair permissions blah blah blah ..problems persists so I called the service centre and the technician I talked to suggested the issue could be from 'your moderate internet speed causing incomplete system updated files.' ;  half convinced but I followed / reinstalled ...with no CD, it has to press option to select  to reinstall -- only then I realized a big problem, originally it states requires 27 hours to reinstall a fresh LION in my AIR but finally it completed and restated in still about MASSIVE 7-1/2 hours time.
As I have bought a USB network connector now (a convenient gadget when stays at hotels with different levels of facilities offered), this is not so troublesome and I think fellow users should consider using network and avoid using WIFI for this purpose. I notice once the left USB once was used (without turning off the WIFI)  it keeps breaking the connections, as I read some articles from this forum the left USB could has some stability issues.  After all the time spent, the computer freezes at times and auto restarts again. What the heck has this causes the AIR to behave this way ?
NEXT, I also read on the Power issues, I bought it without realizing one of the technical highlight is on high performance battery management but you can chop my head off and sit on mine if the AIR can last 3 hours (probably the suggested time is with computer power on but without using it at all). I don't want to sound un-nice as I have been using Mac for many many years:  1) if AIR is entirely basing on internet (VERY HIGH SPEED) for support is not a really very friendly method for users if there is reliability issues via internet line support, says what if we are caught in remote area with 30k/sec line speed then we are totally dead ... ; 2)  the recent scare makes me dare not using the software updates now, as technician suggested, write down what is required to update, find it from apple and do it manually ...Goohs, my Mac Book Pro using side by side doesn't has this issue.   Since when was the last time I have to suffer maintaining a Mac myself ? ...  @%#&@*!(!
Anyone has clue to these or simply return to service centre to handle for me ?
Thanks in advance (first time user in this community).

    Hello!
I´m sorry it took so long to reply, but I´m new to these blogs; and I´ve been travelling a lot... Anyway, I was able to configure Airport Express, but I was told I could use it to expand my wireless network inside my house; which I found it´s not possible.
So, I´m returning my Airport Express to the store tomorrow and try to figure out a way to extend my wireless in any other way.
Any sugestion? Big houses are a problem...
Best regards, and once again thank you!

  • Using X3500 as a Wireless Extender DHCP issue iPhone 6

    Hi
Hopefully a simple question with a simple answer.
    Background:
I've transitioned away from my ADSL ISP to a cable provider (VirginMedia). My new ISP comes with a cable modem (SuperHub 2 ac) and I've connected the two devices together to extend my home wireless network. The cable modem is The two routers are physically remote from each other - connected via just their Ethernet ports - via power-line technology (Devolo dLAN 1200+). The two routers have the same broadcast SSID albeit on separate channels.
    Issue:
All devices in my house, laptops tablets, phones roam between the two wi-fi zones seamlessly *except* the iPhone 6 (iOS8.1), this works on the cable modem wi-fi - but not on the X3500 wi-fi. I also have an iPad Mini 2 (also iOS8.1) which also works - so rightly / wrongly I've ruled out iO8.1 as the issue. Oddly the iPhone 6 connects to the x3500 but doesn't obtain an IP address (the cable modem is the DHCP server). Even setting a static IP address doesn't help.
    Observation(s):
If the X3500 is setup as a DHCP server, the iPhoen connects (and gets an IP address), but then the default gateway is incorrect (gatway is the IP address of the X3500 not the remote cable modem). I can't find anywhere to specify a default gateway in the setup.
    Question
I'm beginning to think this is an issue with the iPhone 6 (knowing all other devices work correctly), but I just want to make sure I'm configuring the X3500 correctly. I'm specifically interested in the whether I'm using the right "Mode"ADSL / Ethernet. I've tried "Bridged Mode Only" (ADSL) and "Automatic DCHP Only" (Ethernet) but neither seem to resolve the issue that the iPhone 6 is having.
any suggestions on how to resolve / troubleshoot would be most welcomed.
    Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Yes, there's a way for you to override the IP Address. It is on Router Address under Network Setup on the Basic Setup tab. If I'm not mistaken, one end of the Ethernet cable should be connected to the regular Ethernet port of the cable modem and the other end to the cable port of the X3500.
But if it's just the iPhone that won't connect to the X3500, it might be okay to retain the current configuration of the router, but try adjusting the wireless security mode or set the wireless channel to 11 and observe what happens.

  • Wireless voice quality issues with wlc 5508 7.0.98

    Hi,
I am having random occurances of voice drops (one-way audio) during phone calls. WLC 5508 (7.0.98) , LAP1242AG (only G antenna present), and 7925G phones. coverage is excellent throughout the floor and its a confined office space. Its not happening always. I am seeing these logs , not sure if it is related. :

I have set DCA list to1,6 and 11. I tried disabling RRM and statically fixing the channels and power also. Still the issue is seen,
    7925G firmware is 1.4.1
i tried to do linktest from the WLC to the phone, but link test is failed. linktest to a laptop works though. I have only mac filtering for the voice ssid.
    any suggestions pls ?
    regards
    Joe

    Hi Serge,
Thanks for the suggestions. I have taken care of all the settings. Problem is , the user is seated in his office cabin and using the 7925 and there is around 50db signal strength in his room from an AP which is just outside the cabin. And this doesnt occur often, when we go to check and make calls, everything is fine whereas the user says it happens sometimes in the morning, evening etc... randomly... where the fone goes blank while in a call.... since the problem never happens when we go to troubleshoot the issue, we really dont know what is going on. This is happening when calling PSTN.
AP's are not restarting and there is no logs indicating that. Wireless infrastructure looks very much OK cos there are other users who are not experiencing this problem and there is ample coverage all over the floor. I am baffled why only one user has this problem even when he is seated in his office cabin.
Tried changing phones also, but still remains.
Question  : i tried to do a linktest from WLC to his phone, but it failed, while linktest to laptops are working fine. Does wlc linktest not working for wireless phones ?
    regards
    Joe

  • Channel issue using Linksys WRT 54GL

Have set up a hotspot using hotspotsystem - and from my indoor router I have connected the WRT on my roof. After setup everything seemed to be ok (using Auto on channel), and I had a strong signal. When moving WRT to the roof - the signal became very poor. In the instructions hotspotsystem (provider of concept) I read that in Europe they strongly recomend using channel 1,7 or 13. I've tried them all without any luck. I'am locaded in Canary Islands.
Happy if anyone have any suggestions for a final solution to my problem. THANKS in advance for helping me out...

Well regarding this you can try the following steps :-
Update the router with a latest firmware first of all ( You can find the latest firmware from the cisco website )
Reset the router for 30 sec
    Reconfigure the router again.
Change the Wireless channel to 6 , 9 or 11 and then observe the connection..
Checked the option which says "Block Anonymous Internet Requests" under the security tab on the setup page of the router

now, every so often we get high response times when running a ping. The average response normally is around 2ms peaking to 7ms but every so often it spikes to say 300ms and then 700ms. Also, Every so often we see that the link goes down and the logs say deauthenticated and then no response. we have to reboot the wireless bridges (BOTH OF THEM) then this works after a reset.
    any ideas?

There are several reasons for an intermittent connectivity issue to occur with a building to building Wireless bridge setup.
Reasons like RF Interference, Fresnel Zone, Clear Channel Assessment etc are there. The following document should give you a clear picture on this
