Filter insp lot based on info record

we have some materials / vendors which are direct online , for which we are doing only ud and not  result recording.
we have maintained D.O.L. in block reason of Q info records for direct online vendors / materials.
now i want filter D.O.L. materials / vendors in qa32 , so that i can do only ud.
regards,
rakesh patel

You can't filter QA32 by the info records.  You could get close however by using a combination of the status and short term characteristics.
You should create a selection profile based on the system status of the inspection lot.  Because you aren't doing results recording, the status combinations on these lots should be very different then the one with inspection characteristics.  For instance they should not have the status CCTD.  They probably won't have PSAG.
You can also include some other fields in a screen variant like short term characteristics should be 0.
I think ideally though, you assign these vendors to their own inspection plan.  Then you can set the QA32 screen to select by a specific inspection plan.  Since there would be no characteristics in the plan, all you plant/material/vendor combinations can be assigned to it.  It is an extra step that has to be done when you create the Q-info record status but it would probably be the easiest solution.

  • Costing based on info records

    Hi experts,
We are facing problems setting up costing based on info records. In our valuation variant we use Strategy Sequence "Price from Purchasing Info Record" and Sub-Strategy Sequence "Quotation Price via Condition Table", as well as stating the relevant Condition type in Delivery Costs.
The price of the material and condition type is set in transaction MEK3.
The costing works as it should, but only if no purchasing requisitions exists on the material. But if requisitions exists on the material, the costing instead use this price. How to avoid that; i.e. how to make the costing always picking the price set in transaction MEK3?

  • PO Release stragety based on Info record price

    Hi MM Gurus,
Can someone tell mw how to achieve this? I want to do a PO release strategy in which the system checks whether the price that is manually entered in the PO is equal or less than the price mantained in the inforecord for that material. If the price is higher then the strategy is triggered and if not, then no strategy applies.
I assume this strategy will apply by item and not at the header level, any ideas on how to achieve this.
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards

I don't think it will be possible specially bcause have you thought about the number of characteristic values can be! We can use a dummy field from the CEKKO or CEBAN and by using any user exit related to release strategy we can map the same but again what about the values!

  • Costing run with values for material from info record.

    Hi All
there is requirement with my client, that when i run my costing run the values of the components in BOM should be from the latest purchase order.
For this i am maintined valuation criteria as price from info record and sub strategy as gross price from PO.
When i am create a PO the info record is created automatically in background. So when i run costing run the value is picked correctly.
Now when i create a PO with same material from diff vendor the info record is generated, but on costing run it picks the value from the info record of earlier vendor. For this i go and check the conditions tab in info record, ensure its balnk and save it. Again generate new PO and then run a costing run. This time the system reads the latest info record.
My problem is that i want to ensure that during the costing run, system should read the latest info record w/o manual intervention. System behaviour is not consistent when there is multiple vendor and same material info records. Sometimes it pick up the value and sometimes it refers the old info record.
Can any one help me out in resolving this issue. Its critical.
    Regards
    Rakesh

    Hi!
Generally first info records will be created with vendor, then PO will be created, based on info records price, price will be updated in PO.
If you have more than one vendor for same material, you have to create info records for each vendor. then you need to maintain source list, where you can fix the vendor. If there is no fix vendor, then you can do schedule agreement with vendors, where you have to give proportionate percentages again each vendor.
    Now for costing run :
    1. if you have only one info record, the price will take from that info record.
    2. if you have more than one info record, you need to mantain source list, where you can tick the fixed vendor, then system will take price from that vendor info record.
    3. if there is no fixed vendor and you have maintained scehduel agreement with weightage to vendor, then higher percentage vendor info record price will be picked up.
    4. if you have more info reocrds, not maintianed source list or schedule agreement, price will be picked up from first info record ( based on info record creation date).
    5. if you have a schedule agreement, but you have given equal weightage for example 50% and 50%, then also system will pick up from first info record.
i think it is clear now.

  • Insp lot- results recording

Hi, activated qm for procurement. po generated and gr done and insp lot no taken from md04. pls note that the sys status here is crtd, chcr, sprq shows in MDO4 for that insp lot details.while searching same insp lot no in qe51n, it gives the message "no entries found". pls advise how tosolve and to do rsults recording.

    Hi,
Check Whether you have created the Inspectionplan for that material(QP01 for creation). If not create it.
And Check In Material master -
    > Inspection type deatiled view whether auto. Assignment Check box is selected or not. If not , Select it.
Now Onwards  the Created Inspection lots will be released Status and you can do result recording for them.
For Existing Lots with CRTD Status do the following steps.
    1) Create Inspection Plan(QP01)
    2) QA02 -> Inspection lot change> Insp.Specification Tab> Click On Task list/specification push button> It will Auto matically assign the Inspection plan and then Inspection lot get convert into Release Status. Then Save it.
Noe you can do the result recording for it.

  • Multiple Consigned Info-record Based on MPN

    Hi All,
We have an MPN Profile that has a setting of - MPN Mandatory & Info Records for MPN. This MPN Profile is assigned into an Internal Material which will be managed with our Inventory.
We have multiple MPNs from a Single Vendor with different price and that is created separately in the Info-Record.
When the PO is created with the MPN, it is working fine by selecting the Internal Material and I am able to do GR for that PO which comes in Stock as Internal Material.
However, my problem is that I am not able to create a K-Type PO for those MPN, as system prompts error messages like MPN008 => "Consignment and MPN mat. only possible in case of info recs. for IM mat."
I have gone through the SAP Help and it is also mentioned as a NOTE in there : If you are working with consignment info records, you must create the info records for your firm’s own material. Reason: in the case of goods issues involving consignment materials, the system searches for the info records for the firm’s own, inventory-managed materials and does not take MPN materials into account.
I have a question now => Does SAP allow the Consigned Process to be practiced for MPN Materials?
    Any suggestion/idea/solution is most welcome!
    Regards,

    Hi Rahul,
    Thanks again for your reply!
I did the way you suggested and I was able to create Consigned POs for the MPN. However, my problem is still un-resolved, as you can see the problem from the following process steps.
    1) GR for the Consigned PO is done and now the IM Material is in the Vendor Consigned Stock.
    2) I have pulled the Quantity via Tcode MB1B/411-K.
    3) When I run the MRKO (Vendor Liability Settlement), system took the Consigned Info-record of the IM Material (which is only 1).
_Problem:_ System while doing MRKO, is not considering the MPN Inforecord, as I am not able to create Consign Info Record for MPN Materials.
If you are not clear about my scenario, I can explain in detail.

  • Web Service to Create a Document Info Record with attachments (e.g. PDF)

    Hello guys,
we are looking forward to create a Web Service that should be able to create a Document Info Record on SAP ERP Application Server. As we don't have installed the SAP Standard Web Services on our SAP ERP ECC 6.0 system we will manually create a Web Service with the help of the standard BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2.
The current problem is that the Web Service based on the Standard BAPI can not upload Files (PDF or Word files) from the Users Client PC to the Application Server.
Is there a possibility to Create a Web Service that can handle files and create DIRs on application server?
    Thanks a lot!!
    Regards,
    Christian

    Hello Natallia,
Well, in this case you don't really need the CV01N transaction. This represents the user interface (UI), and you only need an interface (that is, an API), which in SAP is represented by a BAPI
I'm not familiar with CRM, but I assume that at some point when saving a Service Contract, you have a BAdI, where you can check the status and insert some custom code.
So, all you have to do is call BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE or BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 (if available on your installed version), with the required attributes (this can be master data, classification, custom data...). After this function is called successfully, you should receive the document key (DOKAR, DOKNR, DOKVR, and DOKTL). Which you can also save in the Attachments tab.
    Hope this helps,
    Tudor

  • Status Profile in Q Info record

    Hi,
I manintained a status profile in Q Info record for PPAP approval process and working fine for status changes from Proto to Pilot to Production lots. The functionality works fine  as long as each status change happenes automatically based on the UD for each lot.
But I am having a additional requirement which should prevent automatic status change based on Usage Decision.
It is this way, initially inspection lot will be created in 0101 (Proto) and status should change only wen the user set  the next status.
The next inspection lots will be created in 0102 inspection type, until next status is set by user manually.
If this status is set, next inspection lots should be generated with 01 inspection types.
I am able to do this perfectly in a automatic way, if no manual status changes are done. How can I make a status profile for supplier relationship, which will not skip to next status, unless it is set manually.
    Thansk
    Vineeth

    Sujith,
    Thanks for your reply.
Is there any standard option through which we can do status change in supply relationship. Without going for development.
Requirement is as below for 3 stage approval.
Proto stage 1- Inspection lot- 0101 origin
    Approved
Proto stage 2- "Manual" status change
    Approved
Pilot stage 1- Inspection lot of 0102
    Approved
Pilot stage 2- "Manual" stage change
    Approved
Bulk inspection lots of 01 inspection type
Could anyone suggest a standard procedure to manage this status change using supply relationship. I am unable to do this, as my requirement at certain stage is to change status manually. Please suggest a way to change a staus maually, after automated stages.
Any update on this, it would be helpful, if someone can show some light on this matter.
    Thanks

  • Requirement: Insp lot of self Certified material should not get skipped

Hi Gurus following is req  pls suggest me
Requirement: Insp lot of self Certified material should not get skipped
if there is a change in Material Revision. As of now Auto Usage Decision
takes place on Self certified material Lots. This happens even after
there is a material revision. This is undesirable as QC is Not able to
ensure the implementation of design changes.
    Apps

i have understood the following from ur reply
new revision created by design- purchaser creates po- materials comes in quality - auto skip
quality don't come into picture in ur scenario
    solution :
new revision created by design - while creating po they will get error q info record for new revision not present- intimation to quality for creating q info record - decide whether to insp or skip it - normal process
    use of q info record
in material master maintain control key for q info record.
create q info record for material, rev, plant , vendor
keep rest evertthing as it is - as a normal procedure material will be skipped
when any new rev is created - while creating po they will get error q info record for new revision not present- QC will get intimation regarding this new rev. -after all approval u can create q info record for this new rev. and then only purchaser will be allowed to create po.
make necesary chages in plan after every new revision

  • Minimum Order Qty on Info Record for MRP

    Hello All -
I have maintained an info record for a material with a minimum order qty.  When MRP runs and generates the planned order/purchase requisition, it is not taking into account the min order qty on the PIR.  Is there some additional set up that I need to do?  I have a source list set up with a 1 under MRP relevant.  Thanks!
    Jane

I also tested and SAP didn't consider minimum order quantity that is maintained in info record (EINE-MINBM), but w/o success... minimum lot size (MARC-BSTMI) maintained in material master is considered.
I assume Charlie is right and minimum order quantity is valid in case of purchase orders:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/67/c50d38c5a5c82ee10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
You can use this function to round off order quantities in POs and contract release orders.
If you enter a minimum order quantity in the purchasing info record, the PO quantity will be rounded up to the desired minimum quantity after evaluation of the rounding profile where appropriate.
(based on this I think order optimizing is valid for POs)
So, whether you use the mentioned minimum lot size and rounding profile fields in material master (suggested by Charlie) or you can maintain rounding profile in the purchasing info record and thus you can have vendor specific minimum lot size.

  • How do I get ALL the info records for a materials plants using an SAP FM?

I need to get all of the info records from the EINE table for a material - all of its sites (plants, we are using SAP retail).
The problem is this:  I call the FM MD_INFORECORDS_READ - here is the code for my call:
    CALL FUNCTION 'MD_INFORECORDS_READ'
              EXPORTING
                imatnr               = t_output_data-article <-- the material number
                iliefnr              = lv_eina_key < -- see below on how I get this
              importing
                eeine                =
              TABLES
                exp_eina             = it_eina
                exp_eine             = it_eine
              EXCEPTIONS
                no_eina_record_found = 2
                no_eine_record_found = 3.
lv_eina_key is taken from this call:
    SELECT SINGLE altkn INTO lv_vendor_no
            FROM lfb1
            WHERE lifnr = lv_site (plant)
            AND bukrs = t_output_data-company_code.
The probelm is it only returns the first record it finds for each site.  There could be multiple info records, each one based a a different Valid From date for each site.  I need either ALL of the EINE records for each site OR the most current one
I know I am not using ALl of the parms in the FM - but are there  maybe there are other ones should I be using.
Perhaps there is there another FM I should be using - cause I do not have the info record number to pass.
    Thanks.
    Scott

Never mind - the FM does work - this was bad data.
