FSCM - NO Enter customer contact/Telephone icon in UDM_supervisor/Worklist

Hi All,
Subj : FSCM - Enter customer contact or telephone  icon in  Worklist (UDM_supervisor)  screen.
Sometimes when i go into my worklist and process receivables of any customer, i could not see "Telephone" icon or "Enter Customer Contact" icon (is NOT displayed or MISSING from the screen).
This is happening occasionally, not always.
We searched for OSS notes, but no avail.
This is a production issue. timely help is greatly appreciated.

This thread seems old so may be it has a solution. I am experiencing a similar issue.
We are not synchronizing contact persons from customer master to business partners. We will create the contact persons in business partners locally. I created a contact person in business partner master data screen and assigned a relation with a customer.  But then it does not get populated in the 'Get Contact person- Contact person in Coll mngt' pop-up window'
Any thoughts on why this would happen.

    I looked at Bento and at first glance I think it would do everything I want it to do, then I saw a review or something from a customer that indicated the information in Bento could not be exported (say to send out a mailing).  I may want a program that can do that as well, is there one out there? If not it does look like Bento will work.  When you save a picture to a customer in Bento can you open it up full size?

    Would this be the problem?

  • FSCM Collections - Customer Contact Result in the Worklist

    Hi Experts,
    I have implemented FSCM Collections at my client and they have a question regarding the customer contact result in the worklist.
    Indeed when one creates a customer contact and generates the worklist again (via transaction UDM_GEN_WL), it seems that the customer contact Results (code & name) disappear (regardless of the result type or settings in customizing).
    Do you know how we can prevent these data from being removed from the worklist during the worklist generation ?

    To all who that might interest: I adressed my questions to a SAP consultant and his answer was the following:
    > Regarding question 1: when the worklist is generated, why is the Last Contact Date not updated ?
    This is controlled by customizing and whether field u2018reachedu2019 is flagged or not in the u2018result codeu2019 settings. If it is flagged, the last contact time and date is updated when the work list is created.
    > Regarding question 2: when the worklist is generated, why is the Last Contact Result not updated ?
    This is the standard system behaviour and here is an explanation on why that is.
    Once you run UDM_GENWL, the customer contact result is set to blank. SAP Development rationale is the following.
    During the day, an specialist opens his/her worklist and successfully contacts the customer. The specialist chooses the result u2018customer reachedu2019 and the work item goes to the completed item list. Now the supervisor runs UDM_GENWL during the night and  a new worklist is created. The next day, the specialist accesses his/her worklist. If the result of the customer contact is not reset and still has a value u2018customer reachedu2019, the specialist may get confused and not know whether to contact the customer today or not. That is the reason why it was decided to reset the field result of customer contact when the worklist is created.
    I guess we can argue on whether it is the right design or not, but it is the standard system behaviour. Having said that, it is possible to add customer specific fields on the work list screen using BAdI UDM_WL_ITEM_DISP_C. This could be used in order to populate a custom field with the u2018customer contact resultu2019. Using FM UDM_CCT_LAST_GET you can get the last customer contact and you can use FM UDM_CCT_RESULT_PROPERTY_GET to get the description of the result code. This is rather easily done but requires some development.

    This report updates the data related to BP in UDM_CCT_ATTR table , but the contact data created is not reflected in Process receivables screen of selected worklist (of customer ) in UDM_SUPERVISOR transaction.
    Can anyone help me on this? Is there any other way to create customer contacts or P2P ? As i need to upload this data from legacy system into SAP system.

  • How to create Pager Number for Customer contact in VAP1 or XD02

    HI ,
       I am trying to mass upload Customer contact data , there is pager number to be uploaded . but when i do it through BDC . Its doesnt record the ALV pop up as there no screen fields as it is not a program screen .
      So BDC selects only the first item in the list , which is FAX number . So i cant upload Pager number through BDC .
      Does there any method available to do the same ? i tried direct upload also but seems tedious .

    You would do it the way I created it:
    Select the Text tool in Photoshop and set the font and parameters as I have listed.  Then enter whatever text you like.  It will be rendered over the top of the lower layers you may have in the document.  Save as an image of the appropriate type and you're there.
    Note that "lower layers you may have in the document" could conceivably be none at all (i.e., you render the text over a transparent document).  You could imagine saving that as a .png with transparency and get light text in an image that could then be put over the top of anything else.  The alpha mixing will see to it that the edges smoothly blend with the background.  I haven't actually tried this (I usually do try my own suggestions) because of lack of time right now.

    We like to have Marriage anniversary date field for customer contact.
    We found Birthday field & even Marital Status in Customer Contact. However, Marriage Anniversary Date is missing.
    Please suggest whether it is already avalible somewhere? If yes, how to get it (in XD01/XD02), or what is the alternative then.

       I don't think SAP has provided marriage anniversary field , you can very well user REMARKS field to enter the details.

    <b>Implement BTE 1650</b> (LINE ITEM DISPLAY: Add to data per line ).
    Goto transaction FIBF to impplement BTE. You will find this BTE under "Environment - > Info system(p/s).

    This is how you implement BTE.
    In FI you can use BTEs (Business transaction evernts). You can use transaction FIBF to implement BTEs. Following are the steps on how you can implement BTE once you are in transaction FIBF.
    <b>[1].</b> first of all you need to find out the suitable BTE for your requirement. There are two kind of interfaces available in SAP for BTEs a). Publish & Subscribe interfaces and b). Process interfaces .
    To do this, choose Environment -> Info system (P/S) or Environment -> Info system (Processes). Execute the program. You should enter "A" as the attribute type. You see the respective interfaces with which the R/3 System provides you. Note the key of the interface which you require. ( key is nothing but the '8' digit / character number ). All the iterface comes with sample function module. Once you identify the interface which meet your requirement, double-click it and it will show you the sameple function module.
    In your case you will find your BTE under Environment -> Info system (p/s). The BTEs ise,
    Key Description
    <b>00001650: LINE ITEM DISPLAY: Add to data per line</b>
    If you double click any of this, it will show you the sample function moule name. In this case the sample FM is <b>SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001650.</b>
    Note down the key and sample FM name.
    <b>[2].</b> Enter a product using "Settings -> products -> of a Customer. Here you enter the product name in customer name space and give meaningful description. ( do not check "active" check box this time - see step-5 for this ).
    <b>[3].</b> Go to Settings -> P/S function modules or Process function modules -> of a customer. Here you go to either P/S function module or process function module depending of what BTE you are implementing from step-1.
    In your case the BTE is from P/S info system you go to "Settings -> P/S function module -> of a customer".
    Here you make following entries.
    > a) Process ( this key for the interface you selected in step-1 )
    > b) Function module ( Enter a custom function module name, here you just give the meaningful name. The function module can be designed once you finish the required settings in transaction FIBF )
    > c) The product that you want to use ( this is the product you entered in step-2)
    <b>[4].</b> Now you go to transaction SE37 to design your custom FM. For this you Copy the sample module you note down in step-1 and call it the same as the function module entered in step 3. Fill the source text of the empty function module. Activate the function module.
    <b>[5].</b> Now go to transaction FIBF again and go to the menu path as described in Step-2. Now you active the product you entered earlier by checking "active" checkbox.
    <b>[6].</b> Run the R/3 transaction / program affected and test whether calling your function module works.

    Hi,
    I am working on FSCM 6.4 Collection Management, while i tried to create customer contact and tried to get the contact information from get contact person from the process receivables it is showing blank, i can create it manually but by any means if i could see the contact information as it is available in FI-AR in general data, it is replicated from CRM business partner to FI. Please help me with standard procedure people adopt for the customer contact information in business partner collection management or credit management.

    Also sent you another message and you are omnipresent in Collections (at least - as I am searching that only).
    I am not able to sync ECC-Customer/Contact Person as FSCM-BP/Contact Perso.
    And Contact Person doesn't appear in worklist.
    Customer created/changed (with a Contact Person) is synced, but, fails when there is a Contact Person.
    Seek you kind help.

  • Create Contact Type in Create Customer contact screen of collections mgt

    Hi All,
    Can anyone please let me know if its possible to create a new contact type ( Currently we have four default types (Outbound call / Inbound Call / Visit to Customer / Visit from Customer) in the FSCM collections management, in the create customer contact screen.
    If its possible to create a new contact type, please let me know where to do that.

    You can add new contact types in the customizing table UDMV_CCT_TYPE.
    With this you would be able to select the contact types you have
    defined.
    Please note that you can create entries in this table only with the
    customer namespace i.e. prefix 'Z' to the contact type that you choose.
    e.g. if you want to create a new entry in contact type say 'TEST' then
    the entry in the customizing table should be as below:
    Contact type | Name of contact type
    Z03 | TEST
    Another point to note here would be that for each entry that you create
    in this table, the system displays 2 entries (1 for Inbound and 1 for
    Outbound) in the contact type dropdown on the customer contact screen in the collection management system. This is as per the standard design
    and it cant overridden.

    What is the responsibility name? Form name and navigation path?
    You can determine the query from the form itself as follows:
    - Query the record(s)
    - Click on Help > Diagnostics > Examine
    - Under 'Block' field, select 'SYSTEM'
    - Under 'Field' field, select 'LAST_QUERY'

    Hello Avinav,
    In CRM 6.0 and 7.0 GUI is no more used, you can use WEB UI and login using SALESPRO role to create a contact.
    1. Logon to CRM web UI
    2. Choose Create Contact from the Navigation bar
    3. Enter all the data - Title, first name, last name, account id,
    street, stree2, street3, street4, street5, city, postal code, email,
    mobile no and website.
    4. Press the Save key.

    Our business has requested for a report on Collection specialist's call history. In other words, when a specialist enters the customer contact information after exiting the process receivables screen it needs to appear in this report.The idea is to monitor the activity of the Collection specialist. To me, it seemed liked a very generic request and was wondering if there was any standard report for this. I know we can build a custom report off of the underlying tables but just thought of checking with this group.

  • Webform Customer Contact field only adds email

    Hi,
    Our customers enter their information via a webform which automatically adds them to our CRM and creates a new case. Yay! Great and easy function.
    Here's the thing though, the customer also enters their Cell Phone as a mandatory field in our webform, however the record is not entered into the customer contact field and only their email address is added.
    Can anyone help?

    Hey there,
    At a guess you made a custom field for the cell phone number which will only go into the case. In the form builder you should select and use the cell phone number field, not a custom field. This will then go into the CRM entry.
    If you feel you have done that you need to ensure you have not renamed the input field name paramater as it needs to he the same as what it spits out in the system so it knows where to store it.
    If that is ok then it could be that you have changed the ID etc or changed the form to break the javascript of the form so people are leaving it blank and the script to run it is not working.

    This has been noted by a few people, must have been either a mistake or Blackberry's way of cutting down on the drug trade. Do drug dealers even use pagers anymore? Just kidding!
    I would call the issue into your Carrier's Blackberry support team so that it gets officially recognized and fixed in a future release.
    As a workaround for now I can suggest moving the pager numbers to any other type of telephone field.
