I had a year subscription for skype-out which i hardly used for tha last half year, and I didn't know it was automatically continued next year again. today I got an email said I bought another year subscription but I want to cancel this year's subscription.
According to the refund policy, I can get a refund within 15 days without using it, so I could got a refund.
I talked with a staff on a live chat, it was easy to get it.
I seached a bit to get there so I just wanted to tell people this solution! Because I even thought there is no customer service.
this pase shows how to request a refund.

  • Typekit - fonts usage after cancelling the subscription

    Hello,
I currently have an Adobe subsription which allows me to use Typekit services for website development. I'd like to know whether using the fonts on my website after cancelling my subscription will be in any way considered a violation of the agreement.

    Hi Razora,
When we talk about Creative cloud, it is Yearly or monthly based subscripotion. As long as you pay, your Creative cloud keeps on working.
But if you will cancel the subscription, that means your services has stopped and you have stopped paying for your product.
Afterwards, you product will trun in to TRIAL mode and if you haven't used the TRIAL before, it will work for 30 days and then it will stop working eventually.
P.S. when using the adobe forums, please mark helpful/correct responses of Staff or helper, if there are any.

  • Unable to open PDF files in Reader after canceling Acrobat subscription

    Dear Adobe,
I have a case# 0185794056.  It involves a purchase of Pro XI and a cancellation shortly after.  Since the cancellation of Pro XI, I have had difficulties accessing Reader.  When I click to open a file in Reader, I receive a message stating I need to renew my Pro XI subscription.  What can be done?
    Sincerely,
    Brian Razak

    Hi Brian,
If I understand correctly, you're double-clicking a PDF in hopes of opening it in Reader, but it opens (or tries to) to open in Acrobat Pro, instead. Is that the case?
Did you uninstall Acrobat Pro after canceling your subscription? If not, I would start there. Or, you could also associate the PDF filename extension with Reader, instead of Pro (the steps vary by operating system).
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

  • Security Deposit Refund after one year

I have paid every phone bill for the past 11 months and I am wondering when I am eligible to have my security deposit returned. I have had no luck with other inquiries I have made regarding this deposit in the past.

        Hi Brandon,
I appreciate your inquiry about the security deposit. In order to be eligible to receive a security deposit refund in full, the account must meet several criteria:
      • 350 days of active service (the 350 days begins from the point of activation, not from the time the security deposit is applied to the account).
      • No suspensions due to non-payment.
      • 12 consecutive months of timely, uninterrupted service.
      • No payments returned from bank
Account balance current (no more than 30 days past due).
      • No related account delinquent or written off requiring payment.
If the account remains active after one year of service, the security deposit will be automatically refunded within 1 - 2 billing cycles.

  • $400 down payment refund after a year?

Okay so about a year ago I started a new contract and for the Iphone 4s, they did a credit check and due to my lack of credit they told me I would have to pay a $400.00 down payment. However, I would get this money back after a year of good payments (no late payments are anything I was always on time.)
Okay so I check my history of payments in my account and it showed this
    $11.28 deposit interest July 12
    $400.00 Deposit           July 12
    -$304.56 A/P Credit Return   July 12
The following day I received a check in the mail from Verizon paid to the order to me for $304.56.  It said "Credit refund".
Um if this is my down payment given back to me, where is my other +$90.00?
My down payment like I said was $400.00.

The initial deposit plus simple interest is refunded or is supposed to be refunded but what happens the company takes out for any bills due or upcoming. However it could be a racket, call them up and ask why the shortage. if you did not pay the upcoming invoice take that normal bill due and subtract. it may cime out correct.
However not returning your full deposit with interest, will interest your states attorney generals office. File a complaint with the Attorney Generals Consumer Frauds division. You may also sue verizon in small claims court plus filing fees for the amount not returned.
Deposit payments can be used towards bill payment but as a rule are not allowed especially if you already paid your invoice and have a zero balance or as a final invoice if you are leaving the service provider. Like I said if both these don't apply file a complaint or court case.
But call verizon first to ask why the shortage. I think financial affairs would be the best to call. (billing)

  • How do I get a refund when cancelling a subscription within 30 days

I subscribed to Adobe ExportPDF.  It would not work for my application and I have spent an hour trying to get my refund for cancelling.  I stopped the annual renewal and I think I have cancelled. I used a live chat and the rep gave up, said he was escalating my request
    HELP!

Jyh-Jiun Liou, The answer I got was to call Adobe, but I can't find a phone number anywhere on the website.  I tried one number in California, but th wait time was 1 hour 36 minutes and I didn't have that kind of time.
All the web pages tell me to use live chat and of course the live chat person didn't know how to answer the question either.
If you can provide a phone number, I'm willing tor try calling.

  • Do CC users have access to current programs after cancelling a subscription? The FAQs suggests we do

One Q&A in your FAQs has attracted my attention.
    ~~~~~
    Do Creative Cloud members have access to previous versions of Creative Cloud apps?
    Yes. Creative Cloud paid members have access to a select set of archived versions of the desktop apps. Starting with CS6, select older versions of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Archived versions are provided "as is" and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.
    ~~~~~
Does this mean as a CC subscriber I can cancel my subscription at any time and walk away with a usable version of the 'select set' of software? Be it CS6 or what ever may be archived in the future at the time of subscription cancellation.

If only it was that easy.
No, you must be a current "Creative Cloud paid member" to have access to any Cloud versions: current or archived.
When you cancel your membership or allow it to expire then your access to all versions of the software ceases. That's the only exit strategy available.
The idea is that, as a current subscriber, if you're using CC or some later version and you absolutely must access CS6 to complete a project or collaborate with someone then you can.

  • No refund after cancellation

Hi, I wonder if you can help?
I recently signed up with BT for Broadband, Phone and TV package after being given a ridiculous quote from my current provider to add BTSport, (for MotoGP coverage), to my package. My account was debited for £196.95 immediately.
After terminating my contract with my current provider, they subsequently called me and bettered BT's offer.
I subsequently cancelled my contract with BT. This all took place on 18th/19th Feb 2014.
Approximately 2 weeks later I still hadn't received a refund from BT so contacted them via the live chat section on their website. i asked about my refund and was asked to wait whilst the person went to check my account. I was told that they had now processed the refund and that I would receive the money in my account in 5 days. I asked what would have happened if I hadn't contacted them and was assured that the refund would have been processed in due course.
The responder's closing line on the chat said that the refund would be in my account in 10 days time!
No refund was received so I telephoned BT on 20th March asking where my money was. The person at the call centre again asked me to wait whilst they checked and came back with, 'I've processed your refund and the money will be in your account within 3 days'. I asked why it wasn't already in as promised and they claimed that there was a problem processing the refund.
I telephoned again on 23/3 and was told that the refund was given on 20/3, and that I would receive an E mail confirming that fact by the end of 23rd and that the money would be in my account within 3 days.
    No E mail arrived.
The money has still not arrived in my account so I telephoned BT to ask where it was. I got the same runaround again, 'please give me one moment', (repeated at least 10 times), and was then told that the refund was now processed and that the money would be in my account in 5 days. I thanked the operator for her help and asked why she had just processed the refund when I had been told that it was already processed on 20th March. She couldn't answer that but said that the money would be back with me in 5 days. I asked to speak to her manager for an explanation why I keep being told the same thing and yet have not received my money back. She didn't sound too pleased but took my telephone number, (which must have already been in front of her?), for her manager to call me.
The manager, JIT SEN, called me and asked the problem, I explained and was subsequently cut off.
He called back straight away, apologising and said that he had checked and that the money would be with me in 5 days.
I asked why I keep getting told this and how come they keep processing the refund when I have been told that it was given on 20th March to which he replied that I would get my money back. I said that if I called again in 5 days time , would I get the same thing again to which his reply was, 'call in 7 days time as we can't process refunds at the weekend'. I again asked why the money was not in my account as it was now over a month since BT E mailed me cancelling the contract to which he replied, 'contact your bank'. I told him that the bank were not to blame if BT hadn't issued the refund to which his reply was, 'it's nothing to do with us, contact your bank'. I again told him that it was now over a month that BT had had my money to which his reply was, 'don't worry, you'll get your money back'.
Fortunately, I had the funds to re-sign with my former provider. What if I were someone who didn't have the funds and maybe went overdrawn to continue their broadband/phone connection? If they didn't have continuation they could have also lost their phone number.
Here's hoping you can help, thanks for listening.
    Ian.

I cannot see, in that case, why you would have paid any money upfront, unless it was a security deposit of some sort?
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are a UK based team of people, who take personal ownership of your problem.
