IMovie: I uploaded HDV video from a Canon HV20 and then to YouTube. The video and the audio are out of sync. The audio seems to precede the video by a tiny bit which is disconcerting. Any recommendations about how to correct this? Thank you.

I downloaded video via iMovie from my Canon HV20. The video was in HDV. I then published it to YouTube and Vimeo and in both cases, the audio is out of sync: the video precedes the audio by a fraction of a second. The original is fine as viewed in the camera.
Any suggestions as to why and how to correct it?

Hello everyone, I have a new Eizo screen calibrated, when i hide the dock on the destop, i get a strong color shift to red, It gets back to normal after clicking in the finder. That only happens with photoshop no other program.

I am working from a laptop, running 10.9.5 with Creative Cloud.
CC14. I think all my setup are correct not sure hoe to correct this.

No, you cannot run iTunes on an Android device, it runs on Windows or a Mac only.

You can restore the iPhone from backup on the last computer your iPhone synced with, this will allow you to reset the passcode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414. When I atempt to send a web site via an email from FF, the system keeps opening one new mozalla screen after another. Nothing will stop this but logging off. I have to bookmark everything and then put it in an email. Your help is appreciated.

If I attempt to send a link to someone from a site I am visiting, ff starts opening one new start window after another. So fast i can't get it stopped. Even going into taskmaster which I sometimes have to try 3 or 4 times, it is impossible to get them all stopped they just keep multiplying. Only logging off or a restart will fix the problem.
The same think happens if I use a "send picture to". I don't know what else to do. I have run all the diagnostics I have. Checked all the drives, etc. Check all the ff settings. Nothing shows.

The movie in question is not 'corrupt' as you can watch it in iMovie direct from the SD card but as soon as you try to import it, it just says 'error'. iIve tried moving the file to an external drive ( and other variations on this theme) then importing but have had no luck.
Can anyone please help me.

Thanks for the pointers. The file type is .mts (a proprietry sony one).
I have now found some video converter software (Wondershare and iSkysoft) at a cost. Either will convert this file for me into .mp4. This I can then import into iMovie without any problems. I've checked this on the trial versions and it worked well but without paying am left with a giant watermark in the video
The mystery (which I still havent solved) is why did 20 other .mts files import fine and then this one not?
If you could point me in the direction of some free .mts converter software that would be the cherry on the cake.

It is known that there are CS4/Yosemite issues.
For your issue, you may try to save your TIFF as a Photoshop .eps file and import that.
Or a rollback to Mavericks.
