I never received my deposit refund of $250

I was told that my refund would be returned after a year of subscription as long as I have no late payments. I made the deposit on oct 12 last year and I have no late payments. I called the financial services a few days before oct 12 of this year and THEY TOLD ME THAT I DIDN'T HAVE ANY LATE PAYMENTS AND IT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REFUNDED TO THE SAME DEBIT CARD ON OCT 12. I still have that same card, it's still working...no problems... and it's been almost a month and STILL NO REFUND.
We called customer service and financial services again and got transferred to several agents but they are all saying they don't have an answer.
I also have been reading similar posts about my concern and it seems that the same thing is happening to a lot of people. Have I been scammed??????

Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.     I spoke with a best buy rep on Monday about the price of the items I pre-ordered decreasing and they said I would receive a refund of the difference immediately. Several days later and I still don't see the adjustment.   • How to get a refund for paid app i never received

    In April of 2014 I attempted to perform an in-app purchase in the game HayDay, which I had downloaded for free on my older iphone 4s that I also had at this time. I still have an iphone 4s but it is a different one. But that's not important. What my question is, is that every time I would go to purchase some diamonds or what ever else I wanted in the app It would tell me there was an error and it could not be purchased. I kept trying a few times and then finally gave up. I had no idea that it was saying error even though the actual charges on my credit card were going through and I spent(lost) somewhere over a hundred, maybe two, on some stupid in-app purchases that I never received and got my credit card took quite a hit from that. I called Apple and they said they could not help me and I had to get a hold of the creators of HayDay in order to get a refund. I found the contact email to get a hold of the creators and they never answered my issue. I asked many times and no one can help me. What do I do to get that money back that shouldn't have ever been taken from my credit card in the first place? I have all the order numbers and stuff if need be.

  • I tried to download an album twice with no success (there was an error with my card) but it still charged my bank account. will i be refunded since the album was never received?

    I tried this morning to download the Macklemore album twice. both times with a card error. However it has posted in my bank account as if the transaction was successful both times. So i was charged twice for the same album of which i never received. Will i be refunded for this "purchase"?

    What was the error that you got ?
    Does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent is above the list).
    If you have been charged twice then try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

    As with many other merchants, the iTunes Store and Mac App Store places an authorization hold on your payment card account for the approximate amount of any purchase you make.
    Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.

  • Still Waiting For Deposit Refund after 6 Months

    Having cancelled my FIOS + TV service after 1year, which I did at the end of January this year (2013), I have yet to be refunded my $250 deposit. This is despite the fact that the customer services have told me, on more than one occasion, that it should be "on it's way in the next billing cycle". Another billing cycle, another telephone call. It seems that there isn't a group of phone operators that are capable of dealing with deposits, and consequently I'm stuck on the phone typically for an hour at a time, being transferred back and forth between the customer service and financial services departments. Talk about infuriating and repetitive discussions! 
    Is there anyone who knows which department I need to speak to and what I can do from here? I can't bear the thought of yet more more hour-long phone sessions with resolutions that are never fulfilled.

      • 350 days of active service (the 350 days begins from the point of activation, not from the time the security deposit is applied to the account).
      • No suspensions due to non-payment.
      • 12 consecutive months of timely, uninterrupted service.
      • No payments returned from bank
    Account balance current (no more than 30 days past due).
      • No related account delinquent or written off requiring payment.
    If the account remains active after one year of service, the security deposit will be automatically refunded within 1 - 2 billing cycles.

    Skype isn't responsible for transactions via third party vendors but you have the option of disputing the charge with your financial institution and then seeking an alternative supplier.

    Is there any recourse for receiving a refund through iTunes?  I e-mailed the vendor at the address given ([email protected]) to no avail.

    Presumably they meant for that app - was the in-app purchase to download an update for the app e.g. to remove adverts in it or to unlock extra features ? For any refund you will go back to as if you had not purchased the item i.e. the purchased will be removed from your account. If you want the meaning of the actual message clarifying then try replying to the message that you got from Support.

    It can take a while for your money to show up in your bank, but a week is a bit over the top. Try contacting iTunes Store Support to make sure the refund was issued.
