Jabber 9.2.2 Incoming call number translation
jabber is set to sync with outlook
in outlook i have a contact with phone number : 4449999
we also have a internal DN with the number 9999
when getting a call from internal 9999 , jabber displays the outlook contacts name (because of the 4 last digits are identical to the internal DN ?)
how can this be fixed?
thanks

Add prefix 9 for incoming calling number of missed call only.
Dear,
I am wondering how to add the prefix 9 to incoming calling number of missed calls only, not the calling alerting number on the phone screen. For example, the local user 472 2001 calls our DID 482 3001 along with the calling number 472 2001 on the dialed phone screen, if I missed this call, in the directory missed call I can see 94722001.
I know I can add the prefix in the field incoming called party subscriber prefix on the gateway page, but when I do this, all of the calling number information show 9.
Thanks,
KirinIf I understand you correctly, you would like to only change the missed calls/placed calls on your phones without changing the digits?
If you have an PRI, you can use this translation rule to change calling ID only on inbound calls:

How to get incoming call number in j2me
hi all,
Is there any way to get incoming call number in j2me???
thanks in advance
mrajYou can't get this number at least till MIDP 2.0 devices.. you only have a interrupt events which call showNodify and hideNotify, pauseApp or start methods. Once can neither know if this interrupt is due to phone call, user switching to menu or sms etc..

Using answer-address in dial-peer when it has incoming called number
Hello,
We would like to use an inbound dial peer that will match by the Calling Number using answer-address.
In our current configuration we already have inbound dial peers with "incoming called number" for Fax2Mail services.
We want to use the calling number for matching to a different dial peer, without the "fax detect" service.
As we notice, as soon as he matching the incoming called number, even if have identical dial peer with the same incoming called number, he stop the matching processes and the gateway ignore the answer-address.
Is there any way to match the dial peer by Calling Number even if he have the incoming called number field?
ThanksHello,
in the Inbound Dial-peer matching process, the 'incoming called-number' has the highest priority over asnwer- address & destination pattern. So if you want to match a particular inbound dial-peer based on calling number, add only asnwer-address and don't configure incoming-called number on the same dial-peer.
FYI: Understanding the dial-peer matching process

Nokia 2700 - Incoming Call Number not displaying!!...
When an incoming call comes, the number does not get displayed..

Iphone 5s incoming call number displays incorrectly.
Whenever I call my wife's Iphone from work, the number displays incorrectly on her caller ID. It is always dropping the third number of the area code, so if my work number was 123-456-7890, then when I call her it shows up on her phone as 124-567-890, it doesn't even show a ten digit number. So far I have noticed that it only happens when I call her from the landlines at my work. I also have the exact same iphone 5s on the same carrier and the numbers display perfectly fine on my phone so I feel like it's some setting in the phone. Before switching to an iphone we had her contacts imported from an old Verizon flip phone, not sure if that has anything to do with it. Has anyone seen or heard of a similar issue?
Thanks,
DanBy the way I have completely reset all content and settings several times, tried turning off international assist, tried several suggestions I found online dealing with the sim pin, switched to a different phone to have the same thing happen on that phone also. I have the same exact iphone 5s and carrier and service plan and the numbers appear perfectly on my phone. I'm so confused why this is happening.

Incoming called URI number manipulation in Call manager 10.5
Dear Experts,
can we manipulate the called URI number like we manipulate the digits (e.g Translation pattern) ?
can we have manipulate the incoming called number to match a route pattern
for eg. the called uri is 955XXXX@CUCM-address
route pattern 955XXXX ==> Voice Gateway
thanks for your help in advance
Anasbecause it should match a route pattern not Directory ? it always return 404 not found
it comes as a URI because it is use SIP trunk to reach the CUCM -
Need help Creating a translation pattern that adds dial out digits to incoming calls
I came across an article yesterday and it showed the steps how to fix Missed Call/Received Call numbers so that you can dial them from the menu correctly (auto-add a 9, etc.)?
I tried it this morning and came up with this translation pattern:
voice translation-rule 6
rule 1 /^201\(.*\)/ /8\1/
rule 2 /\(..........\)/ /81\1/
voice translation-profile filter_Incoming
translate calling 6
This translation pattern rule 1 adds the dial out character 8 and strips 201 for local calls. Rule 2 adds dial out character 8 and adds 1 for long distance. The purpose of this translation rule is when the ephone receives the phone call the characters 8 and 1 are added so when you quickly need to redial you do not have to edit the number and add 8 for each call.
I tested the translation-rule:
ROUTER-2911#test voice translation-rule 6 9082121231
Matched with rule 2
Original number: 9082121231 Translated number: 819082121231

Can what I am trying to do be done with my current setup?Hi patldmart012,
The dial-peer 9 that you have attached will not be affected by following config
voice translation-rule 6
rule 1 /^201\(.*\)/ /8\1/
rule 2 /\(..........\)/ /81\1/
voice translation-profile filter_Incoming
translate calling 6
Because you have not applied the translation profile "filter_incoming" on the dial-peer.
Could you please provide the exact call flow?
Along with that, If you are facing issue with calls on SIP Trunk, please collect following debugs in a logging buffer and attach the file. I will analyse it and will get back to you.
debug voip ccapi inout
debug ccsip message
debug voice translation
Debug h225 asn1 (If H323 involved)
Debug h245 asn1 (If H323 involved)
Debug MGCP Packets (If MGCP involved)
Also provide the running config of the GW.
These are verbose debugs, so please collect them in the following manner:
Router(config)# service sequence
Router(config)# service timestamps debug datetime msec
Router(config)# logging buffered 30000000 7
Router(config)# no logging con
Router(config)# no logging mon
Router# Clear log
Router# term no mon
<Enable debugs, then wait for issue to occur.>
Router# term len 0
<Enable session capture to txt file in terminal program.>

Once i have the logs, i will analyse it and will get back to you.

Truncate called number using translation rule
I have a Cisco 2851 router and I need to chop off the first digit in the incoming
called number string (e,g 272109 translate to 72109).
I have tried using rule 1 /^.*\(..\)/ /\1/ but I cannot get this to work, keeps saying it is an incomplete command.
Can anyone help pleaseAre the numbers always the same length? If so, you can use the following rule to keep the last 5 digits.
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /^.*\(.....\)/ /\1/
Hope this helps.

REDIRECT CALLS THAT INCOMING OF NUMBER DID TO EXTENSION
Hi I need help.
I have a group of DID's numbers (of 12534000 to 12534049), i want redirect calls that incomig of DID's to the specific extension, for example:
I call to the number 12534000 then this call send to the extension 101 or.
I call to the number 12534049 then this call send to the extension 110.
I have this configuration:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /4000/ /101/
rule 2 /4049/ /110/
voice translation-profile INCOMING-DIDS
translate called 1
voice-port 0/2/0:0
translation-profile incoming INCOMING-DIDS
dial-peer voice 100 pots
description ** incoming dial peer**
translation-profile incoming INCOMING-DIDS
incoming called-number ^AAAA$
port 0/2/0:0
dial-peer voice 6 pots
description "catch all dial peer for BRI/PRI"
translation-profile incoming INCOMING-DIDS
incoming called number .%
direct-inward-dial
When the call comes don't send the call to the extension.
thanks I hop can you help me.Hi Israel,
You should use CCA to configure inbound did to go to a specific extension.
Go to Configure -> Telephony -> Dial Plan -> Incoming
Then in your Inbound Trunk Settings, specify the range of numbers and the appropriate extensions range. e.g.
12534000 to 12534049 go to extensions 200 -249
also if you do not specifiy this whole range, you can go for specific did: 12534000 to (same number) 125340000 to Operator and write the extension number there.
I think you add this in the bottom square, by pressing the Add button.
Hope it helps -
Unity Express - Incoming calls wont get voice mail
CUE works fine with telephones on my local network. Incoming and outgoing calls work fine.
However when I get an incoming call via SIP trunk the call will not get forwarded to unity express after 10 seconds. The line goes dead.
I searched for another post which suggested the following commands:

SIP incoming call, won't work (CME)
Hi all,
I'm facing a weird problem and the sip-provider can't help. I suppose there is a problem with the dial-peer/translation-rule but I can't figure it out...
There is a CME (c2800nm-ipvoice-mz.124-11.XW10.bin, CME Version 4.2(0)) with a
SIP trunk.
Outgoing calls are working (DID).
Incoming calls (all DID) are ringing on the same internal number.
The situation:
- external call on 0815440097 is ringing on the internal nr. 296 (should be 297)
- external call on 0815440096 is ringing on the internal nr. 296
Here the config:

Thanks,
NorbertHi Alex,
Thank you for the reply.
After changing the "incoming called-number" I got the same output.
The weird think is, why the dial-peer debug shows the 0815440096 number, despite the right "to: number" in the SIP-Message.
Is there a problem with the "voice service voip" or "sip-ua"?
on the voice translation debug I see:
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_TO_URI; URI=sip:0815440097
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_FROM_URI; URI=sip:0819262424
But I guess the translation rule is maching this one:
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_INCOMING_DNIS; Called Number=0815440096
So how can the voice translation rule be set to map the entry DP_MATCH_TO_URI; URI=sip:0815440097
Thanks for the help.
Regards,
Norbert

Matching B-channel for dialpeer assigment (Incoming call)
Is it possible to manipulate a specific B Channel to use a dialpeer? For example on a T1 with 24 channels, I need the last 4 B-channels to choose an specific dialpeer, same concepts as matching incoming DID's but on a B-Channel slot.
If a call arrives on B-channel 20, I need that call to be sent to a specific DN at the CallManager.
I am using H.323 on the gateway side.
thanks in advanced.
OscarHi!
I'm stuck in a similar situation at the moment, and hope someone has solved this issue.
I have a "back to back connection" between two PBX'es that communicate using Q.931. I have had to replace my old hardware running a legacy CCS solution due to its incapability of understanding overlap signalling. I have replaced it with two Cisco routers running E1 (Q931). Between the units I have a high latency low bandwidth network.
The issue is that the PBX'es are configured in a way that requires calls between the PBX'es to use the same time slot at both ends. I'm running a VoIP network with CUCM between the two sites.

The idea is that I do not know (or care) what numbers are used as SOURCE or DESTINATION of the original call. My network should be transparent to the PBX number plan. I need to add a prefix, and it should be based on the timeslot the call comes in on. I route the traffic between the routers using the prefix.
The configuration excerpt above should add 61031401 prefix to all calls entering on TS01, and 61031402 to all calls entering on TS02 etc. Calls from the remote should have corresponding prefixes 81030001 for TS01 and 81030002 for TS02 etc.
The outbound (from voip to pots) routing of the above configuration works.
However I have a challenge with the incoming prefixing.
All calls inbound end up using "dial-peer 81030001 pots".
I believe the reason this dial-peer "takes" all of the calls inbound from pots is due to the line "incoming called-number ."
Removing this makes no inbound pots call work as the "destination-pattern 8103001T" is never matched.
Removing "destination-pattern 8103001T" from the dial-peer is not working as it kills the voip to pots routing of inbound calls from the remote router.
Anyone got a good idea for me? -
Analog line (FXO) Incoming calls getting connected after 3 rings
HI,
we are having 4 Analog line (FXO)...Every time when callers call the number they hear 3 rings & after that call frwds to AA or any extension.
In show voice port summary, we can see that voice port is getting connect at the first ring but after 3 rings only phone rings.
here is the o/p of voice port.
