ME21N-deactivate hold button (BADI)

Hi all,
Hold button in me21n screen is deactivated by using (me_hold_po),but my requirement is to hide or deactivate the hold button based on plant.
alread i gave code as ch_allowed = space.How to hide the hold for certain plants.???????

you have badi for doing this .ME_HOLD_PO this is badi . Implement this in se19 . You have IS_ALLOWED method . In this method write ch_allowed = ' '. This will solve your requirement.

How to deactivate HOLD button?

Im having problems when on the phone i always accidentaly press the hold button its on the upper right of the screen. Is there anyway to deactivate it? or any solution for this. Its seems annoying i have to hold the z1 away from my ears and face...I hope somebody has a solution for this... Thanks

This is something I always advise as a lot of people are worried about pressing buttons with their face so dont hold the phone too close and this causes the proximity sensor to not activate which causes the exact problem they are trying to avoid.

Disable Hold button of Purchase Order

Hi All,
I am using the BADI 'ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST', methods 'PROCESS_HEADER' & 'CHECK' to validate the header of PO, to validate the PO header details and throwing error messasge incase of any validations.
The requirement is to disable the HOLD button of PO and user should not be able to save it until or unless he corrects the invalid header details.
Please le me know how to disable to HOLD button on application tool bar button.

If the application tool bar fields are not populated in u r BADI method then u should try to find some other exit in which you can edit the application tool bar and if u debug it u can find it and if there is no exit try to find the enhancement-spot to disable the 'HOLD' button and u can pass parameters from one exit to exit.
I think it will work.

The following steps are necessary to implement your requirement:
(1) Create BAdI implementation for BAdI CATS_REPORTING (i.e. class implementing interface IF_EX_CATS_REPORTING => e.g. ZCL_IM_CATS_REPORTING).
(2) Add a public method HANDLE_TOOLBAR (to your BAdI implementing class) as event handler for event TOOLBAR of CL_GUI_ALV_GRID
(3) Set method HANDLE_TOOLBAR as event handler for the CATS displaying grid instance:
METHOD if_ex_cats_reporting~before_display_appr.
SET HANDLER: handle_toolbar FOR im_alv_grid.
ENDMETHOD.
(4) Inactive the APPROVE toolbar button within the event handler method:
METHOD handle_toolbar.
* define local data
DATA: ls_button   TYPE stb_button.
LOOP AT e_object->mt_toolbar INTO ls_button.

this feature is only available with Funds Management (PSM) add-on, which has internal BADI ME_MEREQ_PARKING

The hold button won't work and this morning i cracked the screen!!

I was wondering if anyone can help me! The hold switch on my ipod nano does not work, or is very slow. It only works if I press down very hard on the hold button. This is of course very frustrating!
However, just this morning I cracked the screen.I know that cracked screens are accidental damage and are therefore not covered by warranty, but the hold button was not working before the screen was cracked- it is just bad luck that this has happened before sending my ipod off to Apple to see if they can resolve the issue.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the hold-button issue fixed even though the screen is cracked? I am a bit of a disaster area with electrical goods, having cracked the screen of my laptop and of my phone in the past!

Hello Luis,
The holding functionality of purchase requisitions works only in PS
(public sector) systems (formerly IS-PS, today EA-PS) since 4.6C, if
-> the indicated BAdI ME_MEREQ_PARKING is active and
-> the PR does not contain any errors on MM side.
If the holding is not allowed because of inconsistencies in the purchase
requisition, the button will be hidden again. The other way said:
Holding is only possible, if:
- Public Sector is active.
- in the system the BAdI ME_MEREQ_PARKING was implemented and it was
activated.
- and modification from note 1068913 isn't implemented.
- the PR is consistent (but error messages from the funds availability
check will be tolerated). More information as explained in note
704777.

Go to MIRO again and click on 'other invoice document'...button same as you find in ME21N....Enter your invoice number and save it.

Ipod touch 4g has broken pins and the hold button is defective, is it eligible for off warranty replacement online it says it'd be $99.99

i have an ipod touch 4g 16gb ios 6.1.5.
the dock port pins are damaged badly, music has not played for a while but is come and go now. dont know why (without headphones)
and the hold button doesn't work, will apple still honor the "off warranty replacement thingy" i had issues with my old ipod (not dock issues)
i know they check the dock port on arrival, but i need to know if the ipod will qualify or not

Almost assuredly the answer is yes. Take it to an Apple store for replacement or contact them using the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.

Yes, I use profile: ICCMP_BP_SEARCH/BuPaSearchB2B
Button 'Reset' is accessible only then I start to search business partners.
I dont see button 'reset' after I finded or after I confirmed business partner.
I see these buttons (initial state):
Search account, Reset, Clear, New.
After confirmation or after then I find partner (before confirm) I see these button:
Confirm, Save (dark), Cancel (Dark), Related, Edit, Clear
I can not see button Reset!

it might be a malfunction in your device. you might ave to send it to repairation
1.ave you try resetting it or restoring it?

I presume that you mean that the switches do not light up as appropriate when you select a Patch in MS?
If so, in Layout Mode, select each of the buttons in turn, and check that they are a) Assigned to the correct MIDI CC number etc, and b) that "Send Value to" has the correct Port selected.

How to disable MOH for "on Hold" button.

CUCM 6.1
When on a conference call if a user presses "on Hold" button, music is played for all participants and nobody can hear anything. How can I disable music on hold for all users?
Please note, I could disable MOH for conferencing. But this is different issue. This is e.g. when everyone is in a conference (no matter what conference system, it could be ready talk, meeting place,...)and a participant receives another call and wants to answer the other call, in this situation I don't want any MOH played for other participants.

I first tried "suppress MOH for conference" by service--> service parameters -->select server --> select callmanager --> go to "clusterwide parameters(Feature-General) --> change the "Suppress MOH to conference Bridge" to true"
This did not work. The reason is that these users are accessing an internet coferencing system like "ready talk" and not a cisco conferencing system, so for Cisco this does not appear to be a conference but it is like a regular call.
I only have two callmanagers which also serve as MOH servers.
Media Resources-->Music On-Hold Server -->Set Run Flag to "NO"
This is explained in "MOH FAQ" from cisco.

The other way of doing this is not to assign any MOH server to the MRG or create a device pool without any MOH. (Media Resource Group set to NONE)
Although the above disabled the MOH, still the TOH "Tone on Hold" which is beep-beeps played every 10 seconds was annoying. So I increased the interval to 20 seconds by the same instructions in "MOH FAQ" how to disable / change TOH. Go to same page explained above but to "clusterwide Parameters(Device-General) and change "Tone on Hold Timer" Value to 20.
