MTO-Need to block (Not to Change)plant in sales order after process order

Hi All,
We are creating MTO sales order and requirement has been forwarded to MRP. Planning person is creating process order and will start their work. Sometime sales person change the plant in the existing sales order. Say for ex: changing the plant from 1000 to 1001. But requirement is already been transferred to 1000 plant. After changing the plant in sales order again the same requirement transferring to 1001 plant for planning. So based on this, 1001 plant also started producing the material. Here the problem is both the plants are producing for the same requirement. Now I need to control the this problem. Is there any way to control in std sap? if possible which way we can control? Please share your ideas.
Thanks in advance,
Babu

  • How to change plant in sales order???

I have made a sales order which created a purchase requisition. A purchase order has been made with reference to the purchase requisition.
No goods reciept has been made yet.
I want to change the plant and the storage location in the Purchase order, so to be able to recieve the goods in a different plant. I tried doing this from ME22n  but I get the message that the sales order has been made with a different plant. If I try to change the plant in the sales order I can not. the field is not possible to be changed.
    What should I do?
    Thank you in advance

    Dear Theodorous,
1)Please check the Material has been extended to the second plant.
    2) Assign the second Plant to Sales Org and Dist Channel
If you have any concern revert back the same

  • Change Plant in SAles order..

    Hi,
I'm trying to change the plant in sales order
    Tcode :Va02->Fast change of -->Plant.
Though the plant is enabled when i change it gives me a message "Item:......Plant cannot be copied".
Can anybody help me in changing this.Is there any userexit or can we change it in the config?
    Thanks..
    Points will be awarded.

In your case, you will probably find that the material has not been extended to the plant.
Try to open the material in t-code MM03 with the new plant.  Do you get an error msg in MM03?
If yes, use MM01 to extend the material into the new plant... and then chnage the plant on the sales order.
Don't forget points for helpful answers.

  • Fast Change function to change plants in sales order

    Hi All,
Once the plant is determined in sales order, thru the option "edit fast change-->plants", one can change the plants at line item level.
my issue is Iam using a BOM material in sales order. In the line item, the main material has plant 3019 and the component material has plant 3019..... now when  i use the fast change function to change plant 3019 to plant 4500 for main material and component material, the system changes the plant  to 4500 for component material but does not change the plant to 4500 for main material in sales order.
why it is so. The bom material and its components are defined for both plants 3019 and 4500.
Do the fast change of plant  function does not work for BOM main material
    regards
    sachin

    Hi
As far as my understanding goes, the fast change of plants is there only for sales order line item. So it will not change at the BOM level.

  • Change Production version during creation of Process Order COR1

    Hi,
    Scenario:
Based on the entered Material, Plant and Order type system need to trigger a popup asking the user to select the Production Version. This should happen before clicking on SAVE button, so that all the values will be populated correctly based on the changed VERID.
I did not find a user exit that enables to change the Production Version (VERID) value. So I thought of displaying the popup in the user exit EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003 which will be triggered before initial screen appears, export the selected value and pass it to a User Exit or BADI where VERID can be changed. But cannot find a user exit to do it.
Please help me find a User Exit or BADI to change the Production Version during creation of Process Order using COR1 transaction before clicking on SAVE button.
    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    Hi Manoj,
So - almost four years later - I saw your post and I saw myself in the very same situation as you did...
I found a solution for those who wants to change the production version of the production order from the sales order creation: create an enhancement in the function module 'MD_VERSION_SELECTION' and you are good to go.

  • Sched.start date not allowing on week-ends for fwd scheduling process order

    Hello Experts,
For a process order & scheduling typr forward/in time if I take sat or sunday as a start date then if I click on schedule, system changes it to previous workin day (friday). But however if i select backward/in time scheduling type & put week ends as finish day then system does not change this date.
How can I make system to allow schedule start date on week ends also for forward/in time scheduling type. in a factory calendor sat & sunday are holidays. while for work center, calender sat & sunday are marked as working days.
    Thanks for advance,
    Vijay.

    Hi
it depends upon client requirement.you must have defined the holiday calender as well.if you select the public holidays in your factory calender.then system will allow you to do your daily transctions on public holidays as well and vice versa.so better go with all options selected .and plz check at your end
plz revert back if it works

  • Batch number change after Process order release

    Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible to change the batch number after that the process order has been released.
Actually, the field is grey and not editable anymore.
    Is it customizing?
    Thanks in advance,
    Giovanni

    hi
if the Batch numbers are generated while releasing the Process order. you cannot change the Batch number. (it will have inconsistency of data)

  • Conversion of planned order into process order not respecting F-S

    Hi Experts,
I am working in Upgrade project from 4.6c to ECC 6 .
I have an isuue in PPPI
I have a process order which has to be converted to process order .
This operation should take place by phase 210 first then phase 300 .
But in our case the Phase 300 is starting first .
please suggest me where to find the trouble.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
I am afraid that when I enter procurement type=X & special procurement=30 in material master data, planned orders created by MRP have then a order type = NB (standard purchase order) and special produrement type = 3 (subcontracting).
So this kind of planned orders can only be converted into purchase request and NOT into production order.
It looks like it is not standard to do so in SAP and that I will have to manage subcontracting in prodution order; 1 routing for internal operation and 1 routing for subcontracting.
    Thanks
    Amaury

  • Is there any User Exit or BADI- Where LTAP-WDATU is as change parameter ,So during or after Transfer order creation GR date would be as per given logic not as current date

    Dear All,
There is a requirement in which when the material (Not batch managed) is getting return from Non WM managed storage location to WM managed storage location than at the time of creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order would like to change LTAP-WDATU (GR date) automatically , So here i am unable to find the right user exit or BADI in which i can write the logic for same. Below is full description of the requirement.
Here we are following Removal strategy "FIFO" while picking the material (Not batch managed) from WM managed storage location (WMS1) & transferring to Non WM managed storage location (ODS) ( than from there it use to go to Production) , at certain times partial quantity use to come back from Non WM managed storage location (ODS) to WM managed storage location (WMS1) and while doing putaway of the same "GR date" use to change which was not the actual when the material 1st time comes to WM managed storage location (WMS1) (before getting transfer to Non WM managed storage location). So here i want the user exit or BADI in which i can write my logic so that GR date ( LTAP-WDATU) would automatically change while creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order as per the "GR date" of same material which last moved from WM managed Storage location (WMS1) to Non WM managed storage location(ODS) because as per FIFO material dated before that would not be exist in the warehouse.
Below is the flow of the material while transferring to production & returning from production.
WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> Production  At the time of issue to production
Production --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) At the time of return from production
I hope i m clear on my requirement.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. You have to get a key from SAP to modify the two includes in which the user exits are present.
    2. You have to enter statement 'INCLUDE z**. ' in both user exits in the MV45* includes. Then save and activate the MV45** includes.
    3. You have to figure out the code that carries out the functionality described in your specifications.
    3. Write the code in includes Z** .
    4. Now the code written by you will be executed when you run the relevant SD transaction

  • SAP MM Rounding Profile not allowed for plant in sales org data 1-Quantity stipulation

    Hi
I have created rounding profile in OWD1 for a particular plant  and it is showing IN material master MRP DATA1 area. But when i am trying to assign in sales :sales org1 data under quantity stipulation area there is no profile  . Is there any specific plant assignment for sales area data?
    Kindly guide me.
    Ganesh

    Hi,
The material master sales data 1 is not plant specific generally. You may create a rounding profile in OWD1 without plant and then the same will be visible in the F4 list in sales data 1. If the rounding profile is plant specific,  you have to maintain the delivering plant in material master - sales data 1.

  • Disable certain changes in sales order after production order release

We are in the MTO scenario and are also using variant configuration. The business requirement is that after a production order has been released (REL status) the preceding sales order item should be “locked” for certain changes. Such changes would include VC and some other fields (e.g. quantity and dates). Some minor changes like texts should still be allowed.
The best idea we could come up with is to put some validation in the sales order user exits, but there are some disadvantages. It seems kind of strange though that there would be no such functionality in standard SAP (e.g. some changes in the order can’t be made after a delivery has been created). Is there by chance anything in the configuration that we missed?
I found this old thread, but it still seems to require user exits. Unfortunately couldn't find anything specifically on the production order / SO integration.
    Thank you!

    Hi Jelena,
    Try in the userexit MV45AFZZ
      (form userexit_field_modification)
    Example:
select * from afpo where kdauf = vbap-vbeln
    and   kdpos = vbap-posnr.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
select single * from aufk where aufnr = afpo-aufnr.
    if aufk-loekz = ' '.
select single * from jest where objnr = aufk-objnr
    and   stat  = 'I0002''
    and   inact = ' '.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    screen-input = 0'.
    endif.
    endif
    endif.
    endselect.

  • How to block changes in purchase order after purchase release

    Dear all
Can u please tell us how to block any changes in purchase order after purchase order is released...
(We don't want any line items addition or quantity addition or any changes once purchase order is released..)We wanted this for a particular purchase order type only
    Regards
    Sudha

    Dear Sudha
Yes it is possible to confiquire your system insuch a way where once if the PO  gets final relase then it cannot be changed.Only possiblity that will be available for the user to make chanegs in PO is possible when the final release is to be reset and then make the changes.
Release Indicator: specicfies whether the PO documents is blocked or can be processed for the follow functions.
You can define the release indicators you need for your release procedure:
•The Released indicator is used to specify whether messages (PO documents in output format) may be transmitted for a purchase order with this indicator.
•The Changeability indicator shows the effect of changes to the PO (a change to a PO may require a new release strategy to be determined, for instance).
•By means of the Value change indicator, you can specify that the release strategy is to be re-started if a PO is changed and the value of a PO item thereby increases by a certain percentage (e.g. 10%). Set the Changeability indicator to "4 - Changeable, new release in case of new strategy or value change" or "6 - Changeable, new release in case of new strategy or value change/outputted" and enter a percentage in the Value change field.
And after that you can specify release statuese where you can specify which release indicator/status a PO is to have after having been released via a certain release code.
    and after release simulation .
Test for the PO change after final release System will not allow you tomake changes by giving the message that the release  indicator doesnot allow you make the changes in PO.
