I am in need of an expert to give me knowledge on how to trace my lost IPHONE4.. It was stolen two weeks ago.... Please help me to find where is the exact location on it? And is it possible that my phone will be back to me? Need some piece of advices from you guys.....
At this time, it will be very difficult to try to locate your phone. If you had find my phone turned on, you could try going to iCloud.com to try to locate it but it would have to be on and connected to a wifi signal. As I said, the fact that it has been 2 weeks now will make it difficult to find it.

The SIM wasn't replaced; if it were, you wouldn't have been able to locate it. -

But iCloud still shows that it is logged in with my Apple IDIf your phone was stolen an didn't have Find My iPhone turned on the first thing I would do is change your Apple ID password. Immediately after that I would change the password for every app and web account that resides on the iPhone.
When you get your new replacement iPhone make sure that Find My iPhone is turned on and you have a good passcode set up to prevent unauthorized folks from gaining access to your device. -

The airplay icon has disappeared from my MAC desktop. It was there two weeks ago when I successfully used it to 'flick a movie i had purchased from iTunes over to my tv. Also, if I rent the movie through iTunes, why (because of the above issue) when I go to 'Purchased' it doesn't display as an option when actually using Apple TV, it doesn't display but when I go to rent it again a message comes up saying "you have already rented this movie, do you want to rent it again"? Frustrated!!
Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

It's gone.
The downside of the 'find my' app is that your device needs to be online, and it is an app that can be defeated within minutes by any thief that knows what they're doing.
Hopefully you've already protected your data, changed passwords etc.
Chances are your iPad has been wiped and sold and it's gone.
You can or should have reported the theft to the police. You might get lucky. -

Apple does not sell insurance. You have a warranty for the device from Apple. That is good for 30 days unless you purchase an extended warranty.

My children where using some web sites about games to solve some problems. During this use a virus came via web interface into my desktop. My virus scanner shows this but could not avoid that this virus read out all my accounts memorized in Firefox and sent it into dark channels.
I could restore the way how my accounts leave my Desktop. There was some accounts only memorized into Firefox inclusive passoword. These accounts would used from other persons in the meantime.
My questions are:
- How save are the memorized accounts-password combinations?
- And: Is it possible that the Firefox Sync Account can transfer the virus from PC to PC by using the same Sync-Account? Or can I be sure that all other Firefox installations at other PSs will be clean after this attack at one Firefox-Installation during all installations use the same Sync-Account? What this question means in background: Via Sync can Plugins be installed at other systems. What happens, when a virus install a special virus-plugin? Would Sync it move to all other PCs?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

My iphone 4 got stolen two weeks ago. It was off because of down battery therefore i could not track it by app find my iphone but i immediately blocked it and report to police. The remote block of the iphone remained pending for one week (I learnt phone has to be on for such an action to be completed) and then I received email from app find my iphone that my phone was finally blocked. I check in app find my iphone to see if i could located and there the surprise! Instead of MY apple ID appears a new one! Does it mean somebody reset my iphone? What can I do knowing this apple ID? Please help! I forgot unfortunately location service has been disactivated.
Thank you for your reply, I checked the status of my apple id and nothing has changed. My iphone was off when it got stolen and short after I sent remote lock by find my iphone. Maybe somebody connected to itunes and tried to do a set up using his own apple id? I would like to understand what's goin on and if this apple id can lead us to the thieve! my IPhone 4 was stolen 1 week ago, but i have locked it 3 minutes after it was being stolen. Today i got a message that it has been locked. I am now wondering if someone can "overrule" this lock. I think you cannot connect it to Itunes to reset it, when it is locked. Is that right? What can i do about this issue?

mallezeQuick go to https://www.icloud.com/#find to see where the phone is located. It can easily be reset to factory settings with iTunes if the thief plugs it into their computer.

Is anyone having an issue with the App Store since upgrading to ios 5? I have iphone 4S and upgraded two weeks ago to ios 5, and yesterday I tried to access the App Store and could only get Genius and Updates....no App Store and couldn't search or go to Catagories in App Store!
I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -

Are you sure? I have other devices at home. The only way I can make them disappear on the tracking list is by turning off location or resetting to factory settings.
