No use=No refund?

I have not been able to sign in and use the Creative Cloud for about a year. I could not sign in and kept getting kicked out.
During that time, I have been disabled and now can no longer afford to pay the new, higher subscription prices.
Is there any way I can get a credit for what I paid last year for the Creative Cloud?
I am now on a very limited income. Is there a discount for the disabled?

    Today I was greated with the bellow screenshot:
    The reason this started happening is: Skype is actively searching for users of older versions and blocking them until the user updates to the latest version. In other words: Update or you wont be allowed to use Skype.
    It does not matter if you are happy with the older version (IMHO: The newer versions are trash, in appearance and functionality), or if you pay for subscription use: Update or you wont be allowed to use Skype.
    I know the above to be true, because I chatted with Skype Support to find out why -all of a sudden- Skype says my network has 'network errors' and I can not log in. Instead of saying: We are blocking you from using Skype because of your use of an old version.
    Skype / Microsoft decides to block you while faulting your equipment. Really guys???
    I'm sorry, but that -to me- is not a good thing. Not only am I dissatisfied with the latest versions, retaining the old version in order to continue using Skype, but now Skype intentionally blocks usage of a version that is (in all respects) still functional; AND blames you for not being able to log in.
    Cancelling of my subscriptions has been initiated. No more paying for poor updates, performance, and deception.

    Bingo. This is exactly what happened to my old version of Skype for Android.
    I am using 4.0.0.17847 on my Android Phone. It worked *flawlessly* for a very long time since I started using it in late 2013. A few days ago, POOF! Broken.
    I tried many things, I even went as far as Factory Resetting my phone (!), flashing firmware and even, get this, ripping out the Android 4.2 ROM my phone came with using Recovery Mode and Flashtool, nuking the memory, flashing Android 4.3 and still nothing. Turns out Skype was indeed blocking older versions. What a waste of 9 hours that was.
    So I was forced to install the "latest" version. What a piece of disorganized cluttered crap. Where chats were actually readable in 4.0, they were oversized and totally broken in the latest  version. Uninstalled, and looking for a workaround.

    If it is less than 14 days since your purchase, take it back for a refund.  Apple has a 14-day no questions refund policy.  If you did not buy from Apple you will have to check the refund policy of the retailer.
    Then use the refunded money to buy what you wanted.

    I have recently lost my iPod and understand that it is not covered under my warranty.
    I am looking to buy a new one.
    Is it possible that when I buy my new one that I am able to take the warranty from my lost one and apply it to my new one?
    I would hope they could take my old one off and replace it with my new one since I won't be using my old one since being lost. 

    What they will do is refund you a pro-rated amount of your initial warranty which you then could use the refunded amount towards the purchase of a new warranty.

  • Microsoft office problem on MacBook Air

    I had Microsoft Office installed when I bought my new MacBook Air. First time I used PowerPoint it froze when I tried to access Clip Art browser.  A little coloured spinning dot came up and continued for ages and I had to reboot several times.  I brought it back to retailer and they rang Apple support who say it is a Microsoft problem.  I have been fobbed off the retailer even though they installed it. I paid a lot of money for this and am very unhappy that nobody can help me.  Has anyone else had this problem?

    Yes, I am actually from Australia, so I try to use American numbers and laws to help people, as America would have a substantial majority of users on this site.
    I agree that the Company that you bought it from needs to take responsibility and give you a refund.
    This website states your consumer rights, they are pretty much identical from ACCC (Aus version) FTC (Us version). Yours would come under a faulty good and under your law, they must give you a refund. Then using this refund purchase it from Apple Store closest to you.
    Apple cannot do much as it is not downloaded from them or the App store however, if you take the laptop in, they might have a look? Depends on how happy they are!!

    Anything that a sales person says to you, can be used as a guarantee and therefore you can say that you asked them to do it for the reason of issues, they did that therefore as they did this they have to fix or replace.

    If you made in app purchases in a game, and you did not receive the "items" you paid for, contact the developer of the game.  If you are unable to receive support from the developer, you then should contact the iTunes store and inform them that you did not recieve the purchased content. 
    IF iTunes store support refunds the money that you spent, I would suggest you NOT use the refunded money for the same items, as you may not receive a refund for the same thing again.

    hi everyone, I have been working on this problem for so long, my brain is completely fried, really. the part of the project I have listed is just one of larger program that I have all figured out; this is the last part and I am just struggling to come up with a start. I think i need to use a for loop, but not quite sure.
    HERE IS THE PROBLEM:

Then you just need to find out what day is that many days after the start day. that would be when they would cancel. Hopefully that makes sense. I am still trying to have it make sense for me. I can't figure out how to code this.

  • Iphone 5c assistance doubt

    Hi all,
    After 5 months of struggle with my carrier over a faulty huawei phone, I got them to refund me. I had to use the refund in their store so I though the best way avoiding dealing with them again was to buy an apple product as it is known for having a pretty good customer service.
    So about a month I got a brand new green 5C and became a happy smartphone owner again (5 months with a borrowed phone is very annoying).
    But now my iphone's screen is clicking when pressed. It started on the bottom left and has now spread to the middle. So I guess I have to take it back.
    My question is,am I required to go the carrier's store or can use one of the Apple certified stores available in the city. As you can imagine I will try to avoid going back to the carrier at all cost.

     I purchased a moto 360 online using cerificates and it ended up being defective. I returned it and since the store didnt have another one I purchased another online using another buch of certificates. The second moto 360 was also defective and needed to be returned. The first points used were refunded while the second set never was. I spoke with customer service over a week ago for more than an hour trying to straighten it out. I had my doubts that it would get resolved but was told the points would be refunded in 5-7 business days. We are past that and still not fixed. I do not wish to waste another hour on the phone trying to resolve. case # for customer service call is {removed per forum guidelines}. I have pin #'s as well from the transactions.

    Hi, Zorbatextiles, and welcome to the Community,
    Simply cancel the subscription you no longer need; it will remain active until the end of its term.  In other words, if it is a monthly subscription, and you cancel it, the subscription will cancel on what would have been its renewal date.
    Then, start the new subscription you originally intended.
    If you have not used the first subscription, you could feasibly apply for a refund by contacting Skype Customer Service.  However, please note that Skype's Terms of Use and refund policy do indicate that Skype does not refund anything on a pro-rata or per diem basis.

  • Sudden inability to sign in.

    It seems this has been lightly touched on in other topics, but never exactly, and no solutions in those threads have helped.  Anyway, as of two or three days ago, Skype randomly signed me out and I have yet to be able to sign back in since.  I get one of two messages-- either it says that I cannot be signed in at this time, or my details are incorrect.  The latter of which is false, so that can't be the problem.
    Any ideas on how to fix this?  I'm signed in on a laptop just fine; it's simply my phone that can no longer be signed in.

    Hello, if you are like me, and use an older version of skype, you are no longer able to use the old version and MUST upgrade to the newer version. Skype is actively blocking older versions of their software, forcing you to upgrade. They search for the old version, unlog you, then block you from signing back in.
    I took a screenshot of one of my error messages, notice how they do not say what they are doing within the pop-up message. They are faulting your equipment, instead of just saying what they are doing: blocking you.

    So, that is likely the reason you are experiencing a login issue with your device IF you were using an older (and better) version of Skype.

    it is not possible to convert credit to subscription.  Yet, if the conditions are met, I think you can request for your credits to be refunded (then later on use the refunded funds to purchase a subscription).

  • How to repay Investment Support on the asset? thru which TTY?

    Hello guys,
    Have anyone used TTY J01/J02 to repay investment support? Because SAP does not allow you to configure custom TTYs under tcode AO83 for repayment of invest. supprt. and J01/J02 uses TTy group 52 "Extraord. write-off invest supprt" which gets classified as unplanned depreciation under Area 41 instead of reducing the Investment support posted under same area 41. Is this the correct way of repaying/refunding?
    If not, what TTY to use to refund or repay the support (either partially or fully) and if there is any way to customize TTY specially for repaying/refunding this support.
    Open for any suggestions.

    Hi Kartik,
    You have first to Define Investment Support Measures. In the asset in the tab allocation you have to fill in the investment support  area.
    When you save this it will create direct a transaction type that you have to use:
    In our case I have:
    I1     Investment Support Area 81 US GAAP
    I2     Investment Support Area 82 LO GAAP
    Created the transaction types:
    EI1     Investment Support US and LOCAL GAAP
    EI2     Investment Support LOCAL GAAP
    With EI1 I post in I1 and I2 and with EI2 only in I2

    I have been trying to find an e-mail address for Apple problems that are not on your list of questions usually asked. Could you therefore let me have an e-mail address for being able to sort a problem I have with i-tunes purchasing for audo books as I by mistake downloaded a book instead of an audio book and would like a refund for The One I Love by Paul Pilkington so that I can download the audio book.
