Pick Qty not equal to Delivery Qty

Hi all,
2 questions in this post (slightly different):
1. A customer may order 10EA of a product. Since we can only confirm 8EA today, they say they'll take 8 instead of 10. We can confirm 8, but the sales order will still be open until the last 2 EA are delivered. How can we have the order closed automatically after 8 is delivered? This is still on the sales order level.
2. On the delivery level, frequently on the delivery document, the picked qty doesn't equal the delivered qty. Lets say the delivered qty is 10EA. If the picked qty is only 8EA, we can change the delivered qty to 8EA and PGI that. However the SO is still open so it is still expecting us to create a delivery for the remaining 2 pieces. How can we prevent this without simply rejecting the order?

Sales order does not need to be closed as once it is delivered, system will automatically consider it closed, you wont see it in VA05N for open items.

This is standard controls. Depends what you ordered, if not fully delivered, system will know whether its open or not open. you can either reduced the sales order amount or cancel the remaining items. then again, changing the sales order amount may not be the legal option. you can still bill for 8 items and then cancel the sales order later on.

  • Sales order qty not confirmed when delivery done with partial qty

    Hi Guru's
    Need your help............
We have issue in drop shipment scenario process. Sales order created with 10 line items from CRM and order released from CRM and replicated order to ECC and backend created PR also. After that user set reject status for all items so that PR line items also deleted, again user released rejection status for all items and line items updated in the same PR with different line item number for materials then PO & GR also done in ECC and stock also allocated for sales order line items but still sales order qty not confirmed in CRM sales order.
I checked all configurations regarding availability check but could not found.
    Example:
Sales order line item qty: 4            -      2 qty confirmed (delivered).
For remaining qty (2 items)I have done GR. After GR It is allocated to sales order but it is not confirming the order quantity.
plz help me to fix this issue?

    Hi,
Please check In ERP transaction OVZJ, for the sales org, distribution channel, and division that is being used in the affected sales orders, set the Avail. Check Rule to 'E'. Then retest the issue, as this might help.

  • Delivery date in PO schedule lines not equal to delivery date in PO confirm

    Hello expert.,
I use PO with account assignment E for sales order purchasing coming from a TAB sales order category.  In the PO I have schedule lines define according to the lead time from the materila masetr of the info records.  The schedule lines in the PO update automatically the schedule lnes in the sales order and therefore the planning on the sales and delivery side is done according to the delivery date indiacte in the schedule lines of the PO (table EKET).
I use also inbound deliveries to indicate when the goods arrive.  At that time, I can realize that the lead time / the quantity delivered by the vendor does not correspond to what was palnned in the schedule lines of the PO.  When I save the inbound delivery, the confirmation is indicated in the PO in the PO confirmation tab with the delivery date equal to today (table EKES).
The issue I have is that the schedule lines of the PO is not in line with what is in the confirmation tab for both the quantity and the date.  Therefore, even though I have goods arrived that could be delivered to the final customer earlier, the system doesn't recognize it because the schedule lines in the PO remain with the original planned date and quantity and as a consequence also in the sales order schedule line.
Does anybody can give me a way, a trick or a mechanism to align the delivery date and the qauntity in the PO between the schedules lines tab and the confirmation tab?
Thanks a lot for your support.

    Dear,
    This is very intersting.
Delivery date is come in purchase order from plant delivery time (MRP2) in material master.
    Exa:
If you enter plant delevery time as 10 days in MRP2 of material master.
So system calculate delivery date as under.
Plant delivery time : 10 days.
    PO creation date : 08.05.08.
    System consider delivery date 21.05.08
System add 3 days in your plant delivery time.
    So 3+10 = 13, Delivery data:- 08.05.08 + 13 = 21.05.08.
Please check it in your quality client, If it is useful for you please revert back with points.

  • Difference between pick qty and delivery qty

    Hi,
My delivery qty is 5 pcs. However while making transfer order from within delivery, the Transfer order is being made automatcially for 17 pcs and so the pick qty is 17 pcs. Due to the differenc ein delivery qty and pick qty, I cannot do PGI in the delivery.
When I use LT0G, and give the delivery and warehouse no and movement type 999, the system does not allow the transaction and gives a message that, function not yet supported for Handling units. But I do not have handling units in my delivery. Neither the system allows me to cnacel the Transfer order thru LT15.
How to correct the above situation so that the TO does not pick up the qty greater than the delivery qty or what other alternatives are there. Also how to ensure that TO is made of qty which is equal to delivery qty.
Iam not aware of WM module, so kindlyu tell in detial pls.
    regards
    sachin

In IMG>LE>WM>Master Data> Define storage type.
Check In stock removal control whether "Full stock removal reqmt act" is active.
If this is active it will try to pull the total quant irrespective of your requirement.
    Reward if useful.

  • Pick qty copied to delivery qty without creating TO.

    Hi,
I have this issue, can some one help me out?
We have Lean warehouse managemant configured.
While I'm creating a delivery using VL10C, delivery is created subsequently the delivery qty is copied to Pick qty, whick disables my TO creation using VL06O Picking.
Due to this filling of picking qty in delivery, the requirment is satisfied to trigger the TO during TO creation.
    Expecting a reply.
    Mahi

Yes, I got to resolve this issue by myself.
The problem is in the Transfer order Output condition type. I had dispatch time 4 - Send immediately assigned to the output condition record. This forces the TO order to be created immediately.
As a rule to create TO the Pick qty field in delivery document has to be filled in with the delivery qty. Hence the delivery qty has copied into the pick qty field.
I changed this dispatch time to 3 and now it works fine.

  • A/R Invoice Qty Greater than Delivery Qty

    Hi All,
Can I post A/R Invoice with the qty greater than the Delivery Qty????
I came across a case where I have a delivery Document of 10Kgs But Qty changes to 10.5Kgs at the time of A/R Invoice posting.
Is there any std feature available of we need to do any work around. Pls suggest.
    Cheers,
    Sree.

    Great.......
    Then the way is clear.
You can manully edit the Qty at AR invoice row level.
try this in Test DB first whether your effect goes right or not.
But as per my knowledge it goes perfectly  even if you edit.
It will increase your stock by 0.5 kg from GRPO stock.......

  • Delevery Qty. not avalable in case having two customer for same item

    Hi Experts
I am facing a problem , delivery qty. not available in VL01N in case where I have two sales order for the same item . There are two customer for the same item. Material is available in unrestricted use but it does not show against one sales order but show in second order. I have  01 availability check, SL-CP and Rq Ty -KSL. Please guide how to solve this problem.
    Regards
    Parkash chand

    hi,
Steps 1: Use T-Code: MM03 and check in MRP 3 Material Availability check = 02 or not.
Steps 2: if your sales order material planning CN= No MRP then
First check: during sales creation Sales Order Autometically check ATP or not. here Sales Order, Order Qty wise Confirmed Confirm Qty reservation by ATP.
ATP will shown you how many qty reservation against a sales order for delivery.
Two sales order, same customer does not fact, fact is sales order wise confirm qty reservation for delivery. Also check material available date and schedule line. if every this is fine then sales order qty wise must be delivery qty should be open for delivery.
    else
your sales order material planning CP= MRP then make prodcution against the specific sales order then sales order wise seperate stock should available for delivery.

  • Billing qty should be equal to or less than order and delivery qty

    Hi Gurus ,
Can anyone tell me how to configure a sales document so that the order qty ,delivery qty does not exceed the billing qty.
    Thanks N Regards,
    Siddhartha

    Hi,
Order qty will always be equal to Billing qty or more in case of partial delivery.
    eg. Order qty 10 EA
Del.. Qty 10 EA  or lesser (in case of partial delivery)
Billing Qty 10 EA or equal to Del. qty.
So, order qty will be equal to bill. qty or more
Can you please elaborate your requirement. It is not clear

  • How to update picked qty as delivery qty while creating outbound delivery

    Hi,
I am using badi definition LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC to update delivery qty as picked qty at the time of creating delivery. By using method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE I am populating delivery qt(yCT_XLIPS- G_LFIMG) to picked qty(CT_XLIPS[1]-PIKMG). and i am also populating update flag as 'I'. after saving the delivery document i am not able to update picked qty which was populated in BADI. could you please suggest anything needs to care. thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Peranandam

    Hi,
I did a little test and, within the method CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM, itu2019s possible to fill the picking quantity (structure CS_LIPSD) but unfortunately during the save the added information is lost.
This is because the BAdI method is fired too soon and the routine PICKMENGE_BEARBEITEN (SAPFV50P) is not called at all.
The problem is quite complex; even after changing the picking quantities, the picking status still remains open!
The picked quantity is generally filled:
u2022     by printing the picking list
u2022     Warehouse Management by creating a transfer order
    u2022     or by manual entry
Otherwise, it is assumed that picking has not yet been initiated and the result is that picked quantity is ignored.
In my opinion itu2019s very difficult to solve your problem using only the BAdI implementation.
I suggest you to propose an alternative solution such as the automatic processing of Picking Output EK00; easy to activate and absolutely standard!!!!!!

  • Open Qty is not copied in Delivery for Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
In the Stock Transfer Order process, Once the STO Order is created, I am creating delivery in the transaction VL10B or VL10G.
When I am clicking the background button Delivery gets generated. Then when i am going in the transaction VL02N and increasing the delivery Quantity which is more than STO order quantity, the system is accepting it. But i want the system to throw an error message if the delivery quantity is more than the order qauntity. For this I have made the following settings.
In the Transaction Code 0VLP, i have selected B in Check Over Delivery field. But still it is not throwing an error.
The reason for the same may be, the system is not copying the Open Delivery Qty from the STO Order (Which normally happens in Sale Order to Delivery process, bcos of Copy Control). This field has 0 value. So the system is not able check for over delivery.
If I get this value in the delivery then it should be working fine and the sytem will throw an error for over delivery.
Can you please suggest me a way to get this open qty value in delivery for STO order or suggest me some other option to check for over delivery in STO.
    Regards
    Vijay

    Dear Friend,
If I can understand you clearly.
to achieve your task the best way you can sit with your abaper and configure a routine and assign the same to T-code OVLK delivery type customizing :
In the Item requirement : Generally it is 202
    reward points if helpful,

  • Delivery qty as 0 and not pickable

    Hi Experts
I create STO ,when I create the delivery, It doesn't include delivery qty into delivery, and the material item is not pickable.
So if I tried to input the qty manually, it will display only 0 EA of material xxx available. I checked the stock, it has qty onhand.
So what's the problem ? where I could check if this part need be pickable?
    Thanks
    Alice

    Hi,
It's very probably availability check is switched on and system cannot find available quantity when you are trying to create the delivery. In the log of delivery creation maybe you can find this information..
It may happen that you have stock but it is assigned to differnet deliveries.
Please run report CO09 (with proper checking rule - maybe "B" in your case, youn know in which environment you work.) I guess you have other deliveries to which the stock is already assigned.
SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements > Availability Check - here you can check your customizing.
E.g. Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning >Carry Out Control For Availability Check ("include delivery notes" checkbox is very likely to be checked; V_441V-VBBLP)
(MARC-MTVFP controls the availability check at material level)

    Additionally:
Field V_TVLP-MNG0P controls how system should react when delivery quantity is zero.
