PM Order & Notification link -Transfer group codes of damage
Hi Experts
I am facing an issue, when work order is created directly automatic from the PM notification;
the following fields of
Code Group of Problem as well as the
Code Group of Causes
assigned to the tag "Catalogs" from the PM Notification
are copied directly to the PM order HeaderData tag in the subscreen "Damage" tag;
but the Code Group of Activities and the corresponding code are not copied to the PM order;
Is there any BADIs/User-Exits that allow to copy and enable these fields in the PM order?

Hello Andres,
To my knowledge, there is no enhancement way of adding a field into this standard subscreen. Also unlike Notifications we can not add custom screen areas to the tabs of Order. So, to have custom user fields (in your case Activity), you need to add Enhancement tab through user exit IWO10018. And write your codes in user-exit like IWO10009 or otherwise, to have the Activity value into this field.

Madhur KanungoIn Agentry you can trigger a Notification Change Transaction (Z_NotifTransfer) without a screen and update "WorkCenter" field on Notification Object. Please make sure you IsEdited = True and NeedsXmit = True along with the change to the Notification. This will update the notification object along with Work Order.
The other option is to extend the WO MDO Class and invoke BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_MODIFY in the Transfer method.

Inserting Object link as reference object in Maint Order/Notification
Dear all,
I've mapped pipe line using obejct link,now when i create Maint Order or Notification system displays below mentioned message,
Select a link object as reference object
Message no. IH101
Diagnosis
You are trying to create an order or a notification for a link object, but have not yet selected an object.
Procedure
Place the cursor on a link object. This object will be entered in the notification or order as the object referred to.
In std Screen RefObject thers is no ref object for Link,
Please guide me how we can create Maint.Order/Notification against Object Link,as it is required to track cost as well as history of repairs in pipe line.

i refer page no 18 of SAP book Object Networking (CS-BD/PM-EQM-ON) SAP AG Release 4.6C,
To select a particular link from the list, (IN18)select the object link and choose one of the following options:
Goto --> Change/Display --> link, You reach the object link data screen.
Goto -->Create notification --> Notification type
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance notification for the link. If a link object is entered for the selected link, the system automatically uses it as a reference object for the notification.
Goto --> Create order
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance order for the link. If a link the system automatically uses it as a
reference object for the order.

Transfer tax code shopping cart to purchase order
Hi guys,
Got an issue with regards to taxes. Went through the forum, but wasn't able to find a conclusiver answer. So I'm a bit lost.
We're on SRM5, SP18 ECS version.
We modify the tax code in the shopping cart based on certain punch out catalogs.
The shopping cart contains the correct tax code after the modification.
When the shopping cart is transferred to a purchase order, the purchase order contains the default tax code of our system.
Example:
Data is transferred from catalog to shopping cart. The tax code is modified to code V1 (from default V3).
The shopping cart is now approved and a purchase order is generated. This purchase order contains code V3 (our default code).
Finance is starting to complain that they can't match the invoices in a proper way due to a mismatch in taxes.
The modification in the shopping cart is done via BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI.
I checked the mapping option via customizing, but this doesn't seem to work in our case. Back end contains the same tax codes as SRM
Should we somehow work with the doc_change badi? If so, does anyone has some sample coding? Or is the another option?

Noticed the note as well, but it doesn't seem to apply for our case.
We've found a solution (to be developped). While transferring the data from the punch out catalog, we will change the product category to a category with the proper tax code assigned. This seems to work when we debugged it.

I also have a question regarding to the Extended notifications link.
My customer want to use the Extended notifications link with subscription parameter email as HTML, one msg per category and including HTTP link to open SBWP in SAPGUI for windows.
The problem is, that if saplogon is configured with group/server selection instead of an ordinary user specific application server entry, the link to the inbox received in the mail does not work. We get
an error: "Logon to SAP System faild. The system description '1. RPR [ERP Production system]' cannot be found in the system list. Make sure that saplogon.ini exists and choose an existing system description in the system list.
My customer has changed the parameter "logon_id" in trx. SWNADMIN so now the
field "System Description" is correct filled when he accept the error message - but still the link does not end up in the small logon window.
Could you provide some suggestion?

That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

While RP delivery in stock transfer order With in One company code, the sym will pick movement tyoe 641 and which ic configrued in SL .But in STO there is no sale order creation that i mean SL will pick only in sale order.
Here order type UB and plant combination sym will pick the Delivery type NL
NL -NORM -V sym will pick Item category NLN of Delivery not of sale order.
NLN-NN(Schedule line)
Generally we know the SL which is determined by item category and MRP type , here item category is coming only in RP delivery document.
So my question is
Question 1.how this 641 which has determined while RP Delivery document?
if it is determining from schedule line NN , how it can be consider since sale order is not in the picture?
Question 2. In 641 the cost has been updating /Accounting document is getting generatiing where as in VF01 billing doc not relevent for Accounting doc .so how we can settle or balance the cost of this material while occured in 641 or PGI?

Hi All,
I have a drill down report of Product Sales. The top level of the drill down is the Product with total sales for that Product, then when you click on it, it shows a drill down of the Sales for that Product for each different store.
In the 'Group Sort Expert', I have selected 'Top N', based on Sales where N is set by a formula (in the formula it is set to a parameter of the report so the user can select Top 10, Top 20 etc.)
What I now want to do is order the results by the Style code of the Products, but I can't see how this is possible, since there is no further order by within the group sort.
If I change the "Sort Fields" order in the Record Sort Expert, this appears to have no effect, since it is still sorted by the Group Top N sort.
What I want to achieve is say, the Top 50 selling Products, but ordered by the Product Style Code (unique for each Product) rather than the Sales amount.
Any pointers on how to achieve this would be appreciated !!Arrghh. Thought I'd sorted this, but I have one more problem.
I have something like this where columns A,B and C are numeric:

All I want to do is group the report by the value of C in descending order, but since C is a formula it doesn't appear in the summary, so I can't use the Group Sort Expert to do it. I can't add something like Max(c) and sort on that, since that might give a different order. I can't use average of c, since that is not correct either, and I need to ignore any values of c that are zero. I can't add a summary of the formula since Crystal canlt cope with summaries of summaries.
What am I missing here - it should be straightforward I would think ?
All I can think of at the moment is to go back to the stored proc again and add another column to the result set that is the summary column C on every Location line, but that seems a bit of a cludge. Mind you I find myself doing nasty hacks all over the place in Crystal to acheive the results I want. sigh -
Account determination with valuation grouping code
We currently have 25 plants (valuation areas) setup using one chart of accounts and a common valuation grouping code for account determination. We now have a need to change one of the plants to use different accounts than the other 24 for the GBB transaction. I can see that transaction OMWD allows me to enter a different valuation group code by plant; so I've entered a different code for the plant we want to change. I then go into OBYC, double-click on GBB and I can see all the accounts set up. From here, if I press the 'rules' button I can see the options to base account determination on. Currently, the 'valuation modification' checkbox is unchecked - I believe this has to be checked in order to use the valuation grouping code.
I'm a little unclear on how to setup the different accounts for the valuation grouping code I've assigned to my one plant. When I checked the 'valuation modification' checkbox and save, I get a message 'the current account determination will be deleted if the rules are changed'. I've done this in a sandbox environment and it certainly does delete all the accounts setup for GBB! But it does then give me the option to enter the valuation grouping code, which is what I need to enter different accounts.
Am I doing this correctly and in the right sequence? Is there a way to save the current values in GBB so they don't go away when I choose 'valuation modification'?Hi Leslie,
Based on your problem statement, if all the 25 plants are associated to a valuation grouping code, ideally your GBB key should have had the valuation modifier checked in the rules.
If it were not checked, then your current account determination for GBB key will get deleted when you add or delete a rule. Reason being the characteristics for account determination have now changes. Example, if you account determination is based on Valuation class as well, then earlier GBB had Valuation Classs/ Account but with the new rule it will have Valuation Mod./Valuation Class/ Account. SAP can't automatically map your previous account determination to the new account determination.
Best way to move forward is to take a screenshot or save your account determination from Table T030. Make changes to the rule. Then redo the account determination by refrecing the account determination that you saved before.

Working on a support project, client has given the details of the company code and name of the workschedule, which is to be copied to a different company code..
How can i get the details of the groupings which ls linked to the company code to a specific work schedule.
There are nos PA and PSA assigned to this company code. Do i need to check each and every PA/PSA assigned to this company code to get the details.
Please let me know the table where i can view workschedule according to the company code.

Go through the IMG nodes (instead of individual tables): Where almost every configuration activity begins with assigning groupings. One of the easiest ways to carry out this transfer is assign the same personnel subarea groupings (that are present in your source company code) to the personnel subareas in your destination company codes.
You will have to regenerate the work schedules for all such groupings after all configuration activity is completed.
Please be aware that Work Schedule Rules also have Employee Subgroup Groupings -- something which you will have to ensure is in place in your destination company code. -

In purchase order item level in account assignment section node we can add G/L Account determination group. ..
G/L account BO are saved against Chart of account code. G/L account determination group not available in this GENERALLedgerAccount.XBO
G/l account determination group and chart of account code relationship configured under Account determination in business configuration.
our requirement is need to check amount posted against G/L account determination group..
But in PDI we are not able to find any 1:1 relationship between Account determination group and chart of account code in any of the BO..
Please help me find Account Determination group code with respect to chart of account code..

Order is showing in T code# VKM3, which should not happen.
Client using automatic credit check. Customer maintained credit master data for which system is doing credit check. As per client requirement the future orders created for this customer system should not do a credit check.
For this we have created a new risk category and in the T code #ova8 , unchecked all the settings for this combination of credit control area, risk category and credit group. We maintained the new risk category in the credit master data of that customer, and created a new order and found that the system is not doing any credit check and system is allowing for the billing. However when but this order is showing in T code# VKM3, which should not happen.Hi- SAP always shows orders in VKM3 even though they do not have credit hold... SAP lists all orders which have item cat deliver or billing relevant..
