  • Confirmation process in SRM does not work whenever there is a discrepancy

    Hello,
we are on SRM 5.0 version with classic scenario(follow on documents in backed system - ECC 5.0). to procure maintainence service user cretes a shopping cart by selecting describe requirements method and UOM at times in incorrectly asssigned as EA so upon shopping cart approval a follow on ducument (purchase requistion) is created in ECC  as per config set up(in SRM). Buyer while coverting this purchase requisition to PO rectifies this erroe and chages the UOM of meausre to Hr and send a PO to vendor.
we are not bale to use confirmation feature in SRM to perform receipt of this service. is this how system works? any configration or a BADI needs to be usd to allow to perform confirmation in SRM even tough there is discrepancy in shopping cart UOM and Purcahse requsition UOM.
when thre is change in UOM in ECC that Purchase
*Confirmation process in SRM does not work whenever there is a discrepancy (i.e. different UM )between Shoping cart and Purchase Requisition related to that Shoping cart.*

  • Account Determination - Delivery Order Confirmation Process

    Hi Experts,
How the Account determination will happen in the Delivery Order Confirmation process. Is the any Account determination analysis tool available to check the same ?
    Regards
    Prasath

    Hi prashanth
Revenue account determination is the place where SD- FI integration  takes place
What ever we do in the revenue account determination (t.code VKOA)Generally for every condition type in our pricing procedure we assign account keys wheather it is freight , tax etc
Now in revenue account determination , to those account keys we assign G/L accounts.
Now when you do billing , some condition types will come in the billing document . and once you save the billing document those amounts will be flowing to the respective account key G/L accounts
    to FI people
say for example if for MWST account key is MWS , in billing if  this MWST condition type comes and once you save the billing document  then the tax amount will be flowing to the MWS G/L account .and FI people will look into it
Once you save the billing document automatically a accounting document and controlling document gets generated
Now after Post Goods Issue , we save the delivery document here the SD - MM integration takes place
Once you do PGI , automatically the G/L accounts get updated and the valuation level comes down. So after doing PGI system generated material document and controlling document.

  • Predefined appraisal process and flexible appraisal process

    Hello
I read the new presentation about the New in Performance Management (SAP enhancement package 4
For SAP ERP 6.0) I don't understand the connection between predefined appraisal process and flexible appraisal process.
Can I use these 2 processes together?
Is the new "Predefined Performance Management Process: Calibration"  work with flexible appraisal process  or this is 2 different system and process?
For example This process of predefined appraisal compare "final appraisal" of workers. Where this "final appraisal"   is stored . In which question of the appraisal form ?
In the presentation Sap wrote "Team calibration based on overall appraisal". What is "overall appraisal"  in  terms of appraisal form ?

    Hi,
    so to answer your questions:
Can I use these 2 processes together?
No these are 2 different functionalities. The reason they were delivered at the same time is because they are using the same technology (web dynpro)
Thus the 'calibration' which is designed for Predefined does not exist for Flexibe.
So with EHP4 SAp delivered the new Predefined functionality
and the Flexible which is basically the same functionality as before but using web dynpro instead of BSP page.
Regarding "Team calibration based on overall appraisal". This functionality allows manager to compare the individual appraisal documents of the employees that reports to him.
You can find some more information on these fucntionalities in SAP help link below

  • Creation of Vendors by batch jobs:  Bypass the 'confirmation' process

    Hello,
Need your kind suggestions please. When we create a vendor master data it's a two step process. In the first place we create and save it. In the second step a different user needs to log in and confirm the same before the vendor gets active in the system.
Now, our client usually have to create a huge load of vendors on a regular basis. So they want to automate this process by creating the vendors using a background job. Since the vendors would be created by the batch job, security issues would automatically be taken care of.
Therefore they want to avoid the second step of 'confirming' the vendors to get them 'active' in the system.
Is it possible to bypass the 'confirm' procedure so that no one has to log in and keep confirming the huge number of vendors that would need to be created?
Please advice. if you need more information, please let me know and I would try to answer as far as my knowledge goes.
    Regards,
    Suvarghya

    Hi,
    Go to the following path,
IMG >> Financial Accounting >> Accounts Recievables and Accounts Payable >> Vendor Accounts >> Master Data >> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data >> Define sensitive Fields for Dual Controls (Vendors).
Click that activity, and delete all the fields that exists which makes it not necessary to confirm any of the vendors when they are created/made a change.
    Good Luck,

  • Confirmed Process order but with mistake on quantity for material.

    Dear All,
The case is ,  User make mistake on putting large volume into material quantity within process order,  However, this process order has been released , confirmed and delivery (DLV) status.
Since this large vquantity material will make the Cost extra larger than normal.
Therefore, is there way to change material quantity and recalcuate the cost again?
    Many thanks !
    Marco

    Dear all,
After commuicated with User again,  user has been done as below.
    Step1)
User has been cancel the process order confirmation by T-code:  CORS,
    Step2)
Revesed the extra amount Quantity to Block stock to prevent Sales Person touch this extra quantity.
However,  I checked there is no different on Actual costs after the cancel the Process order confirmation.
    I have some confusing now..
    1) is that once Process order confirmation cancelled,  is that there Must no Actual cost in Accounting view?
    2)  If there is part of physical product produced,  but the Process order has been cancelled afterward. How the cost calcuated?  is that include the cost or exclude the cost?
    Many Thanks for your help!

  • SRM SUS - confirmations process

    Hello,
I have 2 questions, hoping you can provide help:
Question 1 - when supplier confirms the purchase order in SUS, is it possible for the supplier to go back into the purchase order and re-confirm order for different delivery dates or quantities (e.g. put back into "in process").  Currently the supplier is only able to do the ASN as the next step
Question 2 - is it possible for the supplier todo confirmations for schedule agreement releases, e.g. like we do for purchase orders?  Currently supplier has "new" and "in process" status, and there is no collaboration on delivery dates and quantities back to the SAP R/3 system
We are using SRM v7 and SAP R/3 4.6c (and SAP PI)
    Thanks

    Hi Azam
It won't be possible for suppliers to change the PO response that they have entered initially.
Normally the PO response would go to SRM for approval by the buyer. If the buyer doesn't accept the POR they may send back and then the suppliers can enter a new one.
However if it is approved by buyer or Auto-approved( as in our case), suppliers won't be able to change that.
I imagine that it would be a complex development to change this behavior

  • Co11n confirmation process

    Dear All
    Our client scenario is
    5 different work centers ex  mill01, mill02,.. mil05.(same process)
production order created for only on work center mill01.
while confirming the order in CO11n we have provision to change the
workcenter where actual prod happened, operator manually changing the
workcenter and doing confirmation. if he forgot to change the workcenter,
While press enter system automatically takes the prd order workcenter ex mill01.
    and showing msg
"Actual or planned work center is adopted from operation/operation element."
client need control, that system should not take automatically the default
workcenter, it should ask for actual workcenter.
how han we do this in config. any possible way in OPK4 tcode?
    please put light on this
    regards
    vinoth

    Hi,
Your purpose cant be served with OPK4.First of all, you maintain 5 routings for comprising 5 different machines for same material.
Then You need to make following setting in OPL8 ( Order type dependent parameters)  :
Select your Plant & order type , Under Planning tab  maintain Routing selection as
    7     Routing mandatory (manual selection)
By maintaining above setting, when creation of order ( either in CO01 or thr conversion of planned order) system will propose to choose alternate routing out of 5 routings you have made 5 different machines. You need to choose routing as per your requirement of mill. You can maintain mill name in routing description so that you can identify mill while choosing routing.
Due to above practice, your required machine will be copied in Production Order only so you need not change it manually while confirmation in CO11N / CO15.
Try above and revert in case any doubt.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sequential confirmation and restricting over confirmation - Process orders

    Hi,
We have a process orders with phaes 20,40 and 60. Order qty = 100 pc
    1. We would like to have sequenstial confirmations from 20->40->60.
    2. When we confirmation phase 40 , quantity should not exceed the confirmed quantity of phase 20. ( Example , if 20 is confirmed for , say , 10 pc , then user trying to confirm 11pc in phase 40 , should result in an error )
3.When we enter confirmations in COR6N , we would like to have the previous confirmed quantity to appear as default and if user changes to a higer quantity than the previous confirmation quantity , it should give an error message.
( for example , here when user confirms phase 20 - order qty less previously confirmed qty = 100-10=90 pc should come as default ;   for phase 40 , default confirmation qty should appear as 10 pc and user trying to change it to 11pc, shoudl result in an error)
In order confirmation parameters , we have chosen " error when operation sequences are not adhereed to ".
and in over delivery tolerance , we have chosen " wanring message"
How can we achieve this modifitcation?
    Thanks and regards,
    Manohar

    HI,
In the confirmation parameters OPK4(Customizing for Shop Floor Control, choose Operations -Confirmation -Define Confirmation Parameters) you set the Propose indicator in the quantities area, to stipulate that quantities should be proposed when confirmations are entered under "Operation Individual entry using Indv. scren" tab Page. and test
If this is not working out
    Check
Control key for operations (in Customizing for Shop Floor Control by choosing Master Data -Routing Data - Define Control Key), you stipulate whether an operation can or must be confirmed (Confirmations key).
Checking the Quantity to be Confirmed (Confirmations key).
If the operation sequence is checked for confirmations, then the following quantity check takes place: If you want to enter a confirmation in which the sum of the yield, rework quantity and scrap is larger than the yield of the predecessor, then the system issues an appropriate message (for example, an error message). The predecessor is determined exactly as described in the graphic.
Irrespective of whether the operation sequence is adhered to, the quantity is checked against the quantity of the predecessor operation (= expected quantity) and a message is issued (the category is set in Customizing). The following cases can occur:
The confirmed quantity is larger than the expected quantity.
You are entering a final confirmation and the confirmed quantity is smaller than the expected quantity.
The message category determines your next entry option:
After acknowledging a warning, you can continue entering.
In the case of an error message, the system terminates the input dialog.

  • Confirming Process "Locks Up"

I'm restoring a project to Premiere Pro CS3.
As the confirming audio process is running, one of the clips in my project (a 4 second SD AVI clip) has stopped the process - the blue bar at the bottom isn't even moving.
Is there any way to skip the conforming of this audio clip?
    FOO

FYI - As a quick workaround I have unlinked this clip - the rest of the clips audio are conforming. I still need to figure out why this one wasn't working correctly...

  • Predefined Confirmation CO1P

    Hi All,
I have a situation where a confirmation took place via CO19 for an PP order.
Now when trying to cancel confirmation using CO13 it was not possible but by using CO1P it was possible after clearing the COGI.
In CO13 when the order no. was given it said nothing to confirm.
Its very strange and its not repeating regularly.
Can anyone suggest why this is so? Whats going wrong in the process and do we also use CO1P for cancellation of PP order.
    Rg,
    Vipul

    Hi,
goods movements of cancellations (CO13) are performed in update task. Technically, this is done via AFFW records. Now if an error occurs (like missing storage location or insufficient stock) this erro is written into AFFW and the failed GM becomes visible in tr. COGI. In case of locks, no error info is written into AFFW, because a lock is not really an error to be solved later. So the AFFW record remains without error info. Those records are not visible in COGI but in tr. CO1P. SAP notes recommend to schedule a report regularly to pick up those records (CORUAFWP, CORUPROC) which makes it not necessary to use CO1P manually any longer.

  • Vendor confirmation process

    Hello guys,
I realized that when we do a Vendor confirmation using Tcode FK08, all changes to the sensitive fields are displayed and those have to be confirmed. However, the Bank data like the Bank key, Swift Code etc do not appear in that list. Is there any way that the bank data can also be made as a sensitive field and thus if any changes are made to these fields it is flagged up for confirmation.
    Thanks for your suggestions
    Keyur

IMG ==> Financial Accounting ==> Accounts Receivables and Payables ==> Vendor Accounts ==> Master Data ==> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data ==> Define Sensitive Fields for Dual Control (Vendors)
    LFBK-BANKL           Bank Key
    LFBK-BANKN           Bank Account
You can add these and they will become sensitive fields.
If you make any changes to these field, then the other user (supervisor) needs to approve them.
    Regards,
    Ravi
