Qm order after confirmation of activity

Hi, Please advise what are all the steps required after confirmation of qm order at the time of results recording. like do we need to deactivate the asignment of qm order, settle it, close them etc. please advise the steps involved.

The QM orders are like internal order which is settled using K088 or using CO88. You may check the CO guy regarding the settlement rule and activity costs

  • Changes in production order after confirmation

    Hi all,
             I have confirmed the production order & all the subsequent process are completed but still the system allows changes to the order which has status DELV. Please can anybody tell me how to control once when the production order status is in GMPS & DELV the system should not allow to make any changes.

    Either by User Exit or User Status
    User Status can be maintained in BS22 tcode against the status DLV

  • Confirmation of activity type in Process order -Impact in FI.

    Dear All,
    On doing a confirmation of a activity type for a process/ Production order - values get posted to secondary cost element which has been assigned to a acitivity type.  This means only a impact in controlling but not in FI
    How woould the booking happens in FI ?is it not required to book in FI, if yes, why.

    1. You can calculate activity price for plan in KSPI and for actual KSII for respective CCtr and activity type...but some times people manually update price at KP26 directly which in my opinion is not right way because price is either more or less than the real calculation in KSPI and KSII...
    2. However in your case price is directly updated in KP26 against activity type..when confirmation is done in order this rate * activity qty is your value posted in order level and at the same time respective CCtr is also credited by this amount which you can see in CCtr report
       Example:  CCtr  XXXX01
                       Activity type 999999
                       Sec cost Element for activity type 999999 (43 cat)
        Suppose you have booked FI entries for some expenses like Salary in F-02/FB50...against CCtr XXXX01   So your CCtr XXXX01 is debited by Salary amount and this amount will be absorbed in product through activity for which you need  activity price and confirmation.
        FI entry is booked your expense in GL a/c Salary and same time debited your CCtr through CE salary....Now when you charging this expense in product through prod order you are doing it through confirmation of activity qty which in turn calculating value by taking price from KP26 and qty from confirmation.

    For the first question, there could be several reasons, like for example, 13.1 is not week 4. So if the consumption parameters did not allow forward for at least around 7-10 days (to get to the date of the first day in week 4), then consumtion didn't take place. Another reason could be that you defined planning strategy 10 for the material AFTER the sales order was already created.
    Point 2: I really don't know he details of these LTP scenarios that you mention.
    Point 3: if it really is from 2007 I think that you can delete the PIR without fear.

    Purchase Requisition (PR) will be automatically created after the Network Activity is Released (REL). However, for the PR created, Internal Order (IO) number would need to be maintained for reporting of the expenses in the FICO.
    Hence, is the a method where we can maintain an Internal Order number in the PR automatically created through PS module? Or is enhancement development required to prompt a field for user to enter the IO number at the time the Network Activity is released?

    you can create another customer field on the activity using an exit
    go to txn SMOD
    enter CN* and click on the match code button
    you should get the CNEX0xxx number for fields on network activity
    note - the PR created will have an account assignment of the network activty number
    When creating PO you will need to ensure that the assignment is changed to internal order
    I still do not beleieve this is a correct way - obviously your client have got it wrong and need to change
    Lastly what is the benefit of having the Internal order number in the network activity as it will not automatically in the PO!!

    I have a transaction type Z010 for interaction record that is copied from standart 0010 transaction type.
    I define dependent transaction type SRVO that is service order as a follow up of Z010
    My requirement is to open automatically open service order screen after confirming account
    As agents must do everything vey quickly while they are on phone, it is needed urgently.
    Now they have to open Z010 interction record screen, have to press follow up button, click to clipboard and then can open the scrren of service order.
    How can we automatically open service order screen after confirming account??

    I read it and see that interaction record is automatically created. How can it be made, is it a standard customizing?? Our interaction record is created automatically when follow up process-it is service order here- is created. First we confirm customer, then press to Interaction Record at the left hanside, then in this screen we press follow-up button, then click on Activity Clipboard, then service order screen is opened. I want to pass two steps, pressing Interaction Record and pressing follow up record, how can I do this??
    Exactly I have to define process type Business Activity for interaction record, I can't give Service Order process type directly to interaction record. Service Order type must be dependent to business activity, is it true?? If there is a way to directly giving service order type as an interaction record type, and making interaction record creation automatically after confirming, my problem is solved as very well.

    I have a small issue, while confirmation of production order in CO11N the activity type for the actual quantity is confirming but our requirement is that if we are confirming the half quantity means partial quantity, activity should also be confirmed for the half quantity.

    My requirement is if the production order quantity is 10 each and planned activity is 10 min for labor and if i want to confirm partially 5 each then the activity to confirm for labor should automatically propose me 5 min.

    dear gurus,
    kindly tell how can i restrict confirmation of successor activity. Example in my Network structure diagram their is only one netwrok and three internal activities and relationship is finish start for all three activity.
    1. activity ===>fs===> 2.activity ===>fs ===> 3.activity
    As all can see the flow, i want is when i confirm activity 2 or 3 without confirming activty 1 the system should not confirm the successor activities.

    As well as the activity (AFVGD), the complete network header (CAUFVD) and the confirmation  (AFRVD) are transfered in the interface.
    Activities
    1. Create the enhancement
    Either create a new project or use an existing project.
    2. Activate the project.
    Your enhancement can only take effect after you have activated the project.
    Further notes
    Enhancements are, in contrast to modifications, release-insensitive, since they are not in the original SAP system, but in a name range that is reserved for customers.

  • PO status "ERROR in PROCESS" after confirmation

    Hello Experts,
    problem is :
    When i create Purchase order its successfuly gets replicated in the Backend as we are on ECS scenario.Now when i create Confirmation the confirmation is also successfully created in the backend system but PO status gets changed to "ERROR in PROCESS" . i check in RZ20 and error is : "Purchase order 2400002371: Transfer Failed; Resubmit" means Application error while updating purchase orders in the back-end system.
    I check my port settings and message type in partner profiles looks OK to me otherwise Confir mation will not cretae in the backend system but yes i can see its created and all my data is fine then why for all the Purchase order after creating confirmation status gets Change ?

    Try executing the function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2 using SE37 transaction by giving the header GUID of P.O.
    Please take the GUID from BBP_PD transaction by giving the P.O number as input and BUS2201 as transaction type.
    Please check the P.O status after executing the above function module.
    Is this happening for all P.Os once the confirmation is posted or for any specific P.Os (2 P.Os as mentioned by you).
    Let us know the outcome to help you further in resolving this issue.

    row 2: 15 pcs item Y
    2) create a Goods Receipt PO based on the PO row 2 (15 pcs Item Y) so this row will be closed in the PO.
    3) after saving the GRPO item Y is set as a non purchase item (deselected  the tick box "Purchase Item" on the Item master), because the supplier will not be able to deliver this item again.
    4) After changing item Y, we want to update the amount of Item X to for example 11 (instead of 10). This item is still a purchase item > while updating the PO the following error appears:
    [Purchase Order - Rows - Item No.][line: 2] , 'The item is not a purchase item (2)'  [Message 131-10]
    In v2005 it was possible to follow the above procedure, however since the upgrade of v2007 the error appears.
    The problem is that that it happens very often that the suppliers change the items, so they cannot be delivered anymore.

  • Rework Order after QC Rejection......for Production against Sales Order

    Hi All,
    Can you help me in the following issue.........?
    I have Make to Order production scenario. After Production Order is confirmed material goes for QC inspection and some quantity get rejected ( need rework).
    Since I have confirmed total quantity in order confirmation, if I create a rework order with reference to the sales order that will increase the production qty by the rework qty. But I need a rework order to rework on the rejected quantity.
    Let me know how to resolve the issue.

    Hi!,
    From your mail it seems that you are doing quality inspection on GR (inspection type 04). Please carry out following steps:
    1) At the time of quantity posting on usage decision please put rejected quantity in field against retuen to vendor (i.e. carry out 122 movement for the rejected material). By doing this you will find the delivered quanity on prod order reduced by the rejected quantity.
    2) Now create a production order without material (CO07) for the rejected quantity and put the original order as cost receiver in the settlement rule so that all the cost incurred during rework will be settled on original order.
    3. Confirm the origianl order / Final operation again for the reworked quantity and make the GR again. This will again create a new inspection lot.
    4. Carry out the result recording and UD for this new inspection lot.

    In our PS projects we are using one network header (with backwards scheduling) with both internal (PS01) en cost activities (PS03). The cost activities are linked to two internal activities to establish a cost spread.
    For example Cost activity 1 is linked to internal activity X and Y=
    Cost activity 1 has a SS relationship with internal activity X
    Cost activity 1 has a EE relationship with internal activity Y
    => as such the planned costs defined in the cost activity are spread over the planned period between internal activity X and Y
    Now when you do a confirmation of a internal activity, e.g. X, then the planned dates of the cost activity are not updated with this actual dates of the linked internal activity

    I am executing transaction MFN1 with "Update of Activity Consumption in the Quantity Structure" = 2 and the following error ocurrs: "KA465 Production order with an actual activity update.".
    I changed the customizing "Update of Activity Consumption in the Quantity Structure" to "Activity update not relevant to price determination", after this I exectuted transaction MFN1 again and the error didn't occur.
    I need to understand what is the impact of changing this customizing, and if I set the "Update of Activity Consumption..." equal 2, the activity actual values are revaluated in the CKM3N? If the answer is yes, in what point of the CKMLCP this value is revaluated?.

    Hi,
    please check CKM9 for the relevant plant how you define the Activity update. Please note KA465 is justified to avoid posting the credits and debits twice if the indicator is '2'.
    If you are using activity update '2', the differences between planned and actual activity prices are not distributed to the orders but via multilevel price determination directly to the materials.
    The system determines the actual prices by means of the multi-level price determination in the actual calculation.
    In the actual calculation, the system also already debits the materials and credits the cost centers or vice versa.
    In this case, the revaluation must not be executed because otherwise the system posts the debits and credits twice. In this case, the system ought to display error message KA465.
    Note 686588 explains under what circumstances error KA465 may be raised, that is, if you have activated Material Ledger/Actual Costing with Activity Consumption '2'. Please check your Material Ledger settings in relation to note 686588.
    If you use activity update '1' then revaluation is done via the orders and no longer via Material Ledger.

    When i am confirming maint. order and checking final Confirmation Box then system confirm particular operation / order.
    but when i check the clear open reservation then system will not set deletion indicator of reservation. I want to cancel reservation whenever clear open reservation check box will check.
    Please guide me how i have do configuration for above mentioned requirement in Maintenance and Service Processing --> Completion Confirmations --> Define Control Parameters for Completion Confirmations.

    hi rajiv,
    as far as my knowledge there is no setting for automatically deleting the reservation, what it does is, it will mark the material as final issue for this reservation ,any future material you are adding will be reserved under different no.
    you have the followoing option
    after confirming you can make the material as MOVEMENT NOT ALLOWED in the order
    or
    you can technically complete the order which will delete the material and goods movement will not be carried out.
    i cant understand you process why you are adding the material, which you want to delete it during confirmation.
