Hi Prasobh ,
I  am happy to see you again in SDN forum after long ,
Yes you are correct the requirements are not convertible on receiving STO in Planning Plant only it will consume PIR
and I am using Strategy group 52 with  requirement type is VSE.
In this how can I test for a complete production cycle I am unable to convert planned order manually in to Production Order.
to complete testing . Why system showing PIR order type VP instaed of LA order type. Marks will be awarded further more for

Where can i customise the order types for planned order.?
My scenario is.. i can not send complete product in vehicle , which has to be dismantle and send in different vehicle, so the different invoices are required. i can dismantle  the product and add these assemblies as line item and invoice. in this case i will loose the main product code which i dont want. i wanted this to behave similar to phantom item , where i can see the phantom item and plan only components.

    Hi
You can customize the planned order profiles in

  • Reg.Output type for purchase order

    Dear Sir
I followed your steps but not come to "List of allowed output"
when I select the message for Purchase order(ME21N). There are listing NEU,SPO,MAHN  and AUFB.
I just copy the NEU and all,I did not change anything.
    Maintain Output of Purchase Order
    1. Condition Table
SPRO > Material Management> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Condition Tables->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
    Select:
    Purchasing Doc. Type,
    Purch. Organization,
    Vendor
    2. Access Sequences
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Access Sequences->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
    3. Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Types->Define Message Type for Purchase Order
    Ex:
    EF---> TES
Select “TES” and double click on “Mail title and texts” and go to
EN- New Purchase Order Print Out,
Select “TES” again and double click on “Processing routines,
Select “TES” again and double click on “Partner Roles
    4. Message Determination Schemas
    4.1. Message Determination Schemas
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Maintain Message Determination Schema
4.2. Assign Schema to Purchase Order
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Assign Schema to Purchase Order
    5. Partner Roles per Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control-> Partner Roles per Message Type ->Define Partner Role for Purchase Order
    6. Condition Record
    Navigation Path: SAP Menu-> Logistics -> Material Management -> Purchasing-> Master data->Messages-> Purchase Order-> MN04-> Create
Now you create PO(ME21N) and save it. Go to ME22N and print the PO by giving output type TES.

  • Determination of Production Order Type when Planned Order is Converted

    Hi SAP Expert,
Is there anyway to determine the Production Order type by Sales Order type when the planned order from APO is converted? Currently, all the planned orders converted from APO will be a Normal Production Order.
    The requirement as example below:
    >> If Sales Order Type = Normal Sales Order, then the converted Production Order type = Normal Production Order
    >> If Sales Order Type = Replacement Sales Order, then the converted Production Order type = Rework Production Order
    Thanks.

    Hi Pascal,
Our requirement is exactly same as yours. Can you please elaborate more on ZXCOXU13? I can see the function module suggested by Santosh in the SAP Note but I couldn't find any details regarding ZXCOXU13.

  • Chaning Order type for Internal order

    Hi ,
We have created a wrong order type for IO and we wants it to get changed.
I understand that Order type is something that cannot be changed.
Let me know whether the below steps are correct -
    1.  Close the existing wrong order by setting the deletion indicator
    2.  Create a new order with the correct order type
IF there are any others ways that could be followed, it will be great if you could provide such info.
Also, let me know if any thing else to be taken care in this situation.

The steps you have told are correct. Go ahead and do it, if case of any issue, come back. Just ensure that you have no actuals bookes, if they are you need to reverse them.

  • Best Practice - Order Types for Consumers

I was curious what the best practice is for entering orders within the CRM Interaction Center.   Do you have a separate order type within the CRM system and pass it to the SAP system for "Consumer" orders and then have a different order type that is defined in the ECC system for distributor/wholesale orders?
We are trying to determine if it is best practice to have a separate order type for consumer orders or not.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Darcie

    Hello Darcie,
I received the following guidance from one of our CRM consulting practice managers at SAP:
"My recommendation to customers is that they separate out the number ranges and order types.  Especially if they are being created via different sales channels.  The reason is two-fold:
    1. Gives greater visibility to what is created in one channel vs another channel (easy to report by order/document type and visually, someone would see an order that starts with 7 and know that itu2019s for consumers whereas one that starts with a 4 would be for wholesale accounts).
    2. Even if the order/document types behave the exact same way today, they may want the flexibility to be able to change how a consumer order behaves without affecting the wholesale orders.  They could always add the new order type later, of course, but itu2019s easier to set that structure in place now."

  • Order type for conversion of planned order

    Hi gurus,
I have configured 6 different order types for PPPI and not maintained any default order type for conversion of planned order into process order. But when I am trying to convert planned order into process order by branching out from MD04 to COR7 via the popup window, default order type PI01 gets selected which  cannot be changed. However, if I am converting the planned order into process order directly through COR7, then choice of order type is available.
Could you please tell me how to ensure choice of order type while branching from MD04 to COR7?
    Regards,
    Abhik

    Hi Datta
The order type is selected as below
First it will look for any scheduling profile is maintained. If so it will select default from the profile.
Next if the profile is not there it will look for any scheduler is assigned in material master. Through the scheduler it will select the profile and default order order type.
Next it will look in plant parameter. With conversion from plan order to prod order  order type
Next it will look in MRP group conversion order type,  if you have mainted it in Material master.
This is the sequence. Please check have to maintained any of these.
    Hope this is clear

  • Settings for the relation of requirement type and planned order type

    Dear Gurus
Where we maintain the settings for the relation of requirement type and planned order type?Actually I have maintained strategy 60 for a particular material (planning material) so the requirement type is vsev and along with that the planned order type is coming is vp i.e non convertible planned order. That is ok the system is behaving right. But nowhere I can find the setting of vp with vsev how the system is picking vp?

  • Missing part for planned order-reg

    Hi,
I want to see missing parts list against planned orders. I checked through MDVP but it shows all components as missing parts eventhough stock is available.
Is there any way to see this.
    Regards
    Karthik

    Dear Karthikeyan,
In general Availability check is done at production order level and rarely in REM scenario's this check is
carried out at planned order level.
Because planned order's are a proposal, which may/may not be converted into a production order.
At planned order level you carry out an ATP check and its based on the checking group, checking
    rule,and the scope of check.
So check the config settings in OPJJ particularly for the scope of check.
Here the check box -->check without RLT plays a vital role.
once after carrying out ATP,the system shows the committed quantity, say if the order is for 100 and
suppose if the raw materials are available only for making 20 means then after making ATP check in the
planned order header you can see an additonal field called commited quantity below the order quantity.
Check in MD12 for an individual planned order and it works based on the availability check value
    assigned in the material master.

  • How to connect MAPL and PLPO to derive work center for planned order

    Hi,
Anybody know how to derive work center using MAPL and PLPO for planned order (PLAF). Is there any connecting table between MAPL and PLPO.
    Please help asap.
    Regards,
    Mitali

I guess u r trying to view the detail scheduling info (tab in MD13) for a planned order . In that case -
    1. Go to PLAF and enter the planned order number. (PLAF-PLNUM) and get the ID of the capacity requirements record (PLAF-BEDID).
    2. With this PLAF-BEDID go to KBED. pass the value here. KBED-BEDID. The KBED-ARBID values are your work center ID.
    3. To get the work center texts ( the way is appears in the screen) - Pass this value to CRHD . CRHD-OBJTY = 'A' ( i.e Type work center) and CRHD-OBJID = KBED-ARBID.
    Hope it solves ur prob.
    Cheers

  • Procurement type in planned orders

    Good morning Gurus,
I have some semi-finished materials whose procurement type is given as X in material master. When I run MRP I am getting planned orders for the same. But in the planned orders the system is giving the procurement type as E (in-house). Why is the system picking up E? The order created is LA.
For materials for which the procurement type is F, the system is creating planned orders of NB. Here the procurement type is not changed. I am getting F only. This is ok.
Why in the case of X, it is creating planned orders with procurement type E? Any settings?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
    The system behaviour is correct.
While maintaining order profile, once can choose Procurement type as E or F (X can not be given here). The Procurement type for the material in the material master is X.
While running MRP, the system would first try to create planned order with E if it is possible to produce the material in-house. In case, it is not possible, system should propose F.
Even though the procurement type in planned order is E, it is very much possible to convert the planned order to Production Order as well as Purchase Requistion. This gives flexibility to the planner to take a call on whetner to produce in house or procure externally.
    I hope this is clear.

    Sandeep

  • Different type of planned orders

    Hello Friends,
I went to an interview, in which I've been asked a question to describe different type of Planned Orders ?????????
Is there type's of planned orders in MTS or MTO environments ???
    Pls enlighten me on this.
    Thanks Sir,

    Rahul,
For interview questions, you should first consult with SAP online help before posting a question on this forum.
In SAP, there are not planned order types, there are planned order profiles.  SAP supplies some basic ones, and you can create additional profiles as well.  Reference to order profiles when creating planned orders

    KD     Individual customer order
    LA     Stock order
    LB     Standard purchase order
    LBE     Standard purchase order
    NB     Standard purchase order

    PR     Project order
    UL     Standard purchase order

  • Scheduling for planned order

When I choose leadtime scheduling in MRP RUN then system does forward scheduling always.
Then in planned order change mode when i do manually do scheduling then it does backward scheduling as  per settings in OPU5.
How to get backward scheduling in MRP.??

    Dear,
MRP do the backwordscheduling but The system always determines the basic dates for planned orders using backward scheduling.
The system automatically switches to forward scheduling if the determined start date lies in the past. For this you have to maintain 2 settings.
1)In OPPQ - Plant parameters maintain the indicator for start date in the past allow. 2) In OPU3 for your plant & order type , maintain the no. of days for start date in the past.
    Hope clear to you.

    R.Brahmankar
