Response Profile : Automatic task determination

Hi All,
Is it possible to define response profiles for automatic task determination at item level through configuration ??
Standard SAP can be configured to assign tasks at header level based on the response profile, however, I am not able to assign tasks at item level.
request your advise...

         In the <b>Quality Notifications</b>, there is an item called  "<b>DETERMINE TASKS</b>", it under the menu EDIT->TASKS->DETERMINE. What is the main purpose of this item? Is this the part where i can automatically put the TASKS in the TASKS tab? If that is so, how can i set it up?
       What is also the main function of <b>DETERMINE PARTNERS</b>. And how do i set it up?

    the menu use specified is used for automatically generating of Task when you specify the priority in notification, it works like this
    Automatic Determination of Tasks
    Use
    The system can automatically determine which tasks should be performed first, based on the predefined parameters response profile and service profile. The response profile and service profile determine the times and the time interval within which your company should respond to a notification in a particular way:
    In the response profile, you can define one or more standard tasks based on a notification's priority, which the system can propose automatically and which must be performed within a specified time period. The system automatically assigns the determined tasks to the notification header.
    In the service profile, you can define time periods for individual workdays (service windows), in which a quality notification can be processed.
    You create a notification at 10:00 am. The response profile defines a time interval of two hours for the task code "Call back customer" and a time interval of 4 hours for the code "Check whether technician is on site". The times defined in the service window are 8:00 am to 12.00 noon and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
    In this case, you should call back the customer by 12:00 noon to discuss or clarify the problem. If you have to send a technician to the customer site, the technician must arrive by 4:00 pm.
    Prerequisites
    Your system administrator must assign both a response profile and a service window to each notification type in Customizing for Notification Processing.
    Activities
    Choose Edit ® Tasks ® Determine to automatically determine the tasks. You can also choose Edit ® Tasks ® Simulation(Det.)… to simulate the task determination (without actually assigning the tasks to the notification).

    Is there any process that priority will be selected automatically.
    And
    Task processor , responsible, and list name is not coming.
    I want to attach responsible person to task but i have not attached any function and responsible in spro-response control- response monitoring.
    I do not know how to do it.

  • QM Notification: task end dates not pulled through from response profile

    Hello,
    I am experiencing a problem with the end dates of the tasks in QM notifications not pulling through (from the response profile) when tasks are determined.
    When I do the simulation of task determination, the gantt chart shows all the tasks together with the end dates. But when the actual determination is done these dates are not populated in the planned finish date fields.
    I have double checked the configuration: priorities, response and service profiles are set up correctly. I have also searched SAP notes without success.

    Yes, I know, but as far as I understand binding the values back from rule to the workflow is something that doesn't work. I have never tried it, but I have seen posts here about people complaining that this kind of binding does not work.
    Have you tried to bind for example some hard coded value back to the workflow (something that should definately work)? Does it work? If not, I suggest you to ask this from SAP that is it supposed to work and if not, why do they have this option to for binding from rule to workflow. Or then just forget what you are trying, and use some of the suggested workarounds.

    Does anyone help me out in Auto task determination in Notifications.I have completed all SPRO settings but still the task is not populating in notifications.
    Defined Response profile
    Defined Service Profile
    Assigned Notification types to Response Monitoring.
    Is there any other settings apart from it.

  • Automate Task in Notification

    Good Day Everyone
    Has anyone ever automated the task line on service notification under the repair tab to create a task line when the material was received into stock for repair (IW52 transaction)?  This is customer stock coming into the plant for repair through an inbound delivery.   On ECC 6.0
    Please share some experiences and how it was accomplished.

    i have a requirement that in SM_CRM transaction while creating a incident user wants to automatically populate service and response profiles based on support team name.
    i have checked for BADI's but dint find any which automatically populates service and response profiles at the time of creation of the ticket.

    This doesn't work as mentioned in the wiki page and SLA doesn't get determined by the org unit or support team via customizing.
    We reported this to SAP and got a feedback that this is not supported and will be removed in future from the access sequence.
    Therefore the only option is to implement badi i.e. crm_sladet_badi and use BADI determination in ur acess sequence to call this badi.

  • CRM Organization Determination - Responsibility Profile

    Hi,
    I have created a new rule under the responsibility profile. When I use the wizard to create, I also specify the values for the container elements as part of the steps.
    But, when I actually go to the rule using change rules, without using the wizard, I see that the initial values for the container elements empty, and the responsibilty rule does not work in a transaction untill I enter it.
    Should we actually enter the values twice?

  • Response profile and priority

    What is the difference between response profile and priority in notification?

    Priority is to indicate to the maintenance department, how urgently you are suppose to respond. When you change priority, system proposes you the new dates based on the priority you have set in the configuration.
    Response profile will allow you to use catalogs and define tasks. These can be automated when notifications are created either automatically. If you create maintenance plan with notification as the call object, you get the option of determining tasks automatically. Response profile will allow you to do these. Outstanding tasks also won't allow you to close the notification without completing the tasks.

    As you may all aware, in the quality notification tasks can be assigned @ Header level as well as Item level. Now through response profile, I am able to assign the tasks automatically @ header level when priority is selected for the notification. But is it possible to assign automatic pre-defined tasks @ item level?
    Please advise.

    Through Response profile , it is possible at header level , but auto assignment at item level is not possible, bcoz at item level the task assignment w.r.t to object overview.

    Iam trying to set up automatic batch determination during Goods Issue against a production order. My requirement is system should automatically run the batch determination similar to the case in production order.
    I have set up all the required configs for batch determination. But to get the batch I need to click on the batch determination button. What I need is without clicking on anything. How can I do this. Whats the config needed

    It is required lot of set up both in production order parameters and Batch Managemnet .I am providing you a summery of it .
    Configuration Required for your above issue are as follows :
    1.Activated Batch Management in the Material Master-MRP2 view and Work Scheduling view of the FG
    2.check material master MM02, tab MRP2 and set field "Batch Entry" to value 3 here
    4.You maintain a Search Procedure in OPL8 - Order Type Dependent parameters .Before that you should have Batch serach strategy :The sequence of steps are as follows -
    Create Condition Tables
    Create Access Sequences
    Create Strategy Types
    Batch Search procedure definition
    Batch Search procedure allocation and check activation
    Define Selection classes
    Define sort rules
    Maintain Batch Allocation Strategy Number Ranges
    All the above are available in the Path - SPRO --->Logistics-General ---> Batch Management ---> Batch Determination and Batch Check
    5.Maintain the setting in T.code OPKP (production scheduling profile). Select automatic batch creation on order creation.
    6.If u want to execute the batch determination for components in the component overview of production order , then u have to create batch search strategy at COB1
    7.If u want to execute during order confirmation u have to create batch search strategy at MBC1.

  • Automatic Batch Determination while doing MFBF

    Hello PP Gurus,
    I have a scenario related to Repetitive Manufacturing.
    I am doing MFBF transaction and doing Assembly backflush by clicking Post with correction. One of the components is batch managed.
    My requirement is : On selection screen of MFBF I enter MAterial,PLant BAckflush Quantity , REM Production Version and Storage Location.
    What I want is that for the component that is batch managed there should be automatic batcah determination based on shelf life and also it should pick up stock from a particular storage location only.
    Also when I click POst with correction button and go to components screen the Batch Determination button comes greyed out.
    For header material have maintained REM Profile.
    PLease let me know what all I need to do for meeting above requirement.

    I need to know 2 things more from your side.. As you told I need to assign Stock Detrmination Rule and Batch Determination strategy in Control Data 2 of REM profile.
    I have doubt on Batch determination strategy :
    1) Which Batch determination strategy should I assign here. Second what all else I need to do from my side so that a batch is automatically picked and assigned to the componenet material.
    The things what I have done is : I have a made a Batch Class, Assigned shelf life as a charcterstic to it. I have defined a sort rule with this characterstic.
    What else I need to do.
    Also FYI : We are not putting a planned order in MFBF. We are  inpiutting the material to be backflushed...

    Is it possible that in the response for process tasks, the response description can include the change details that include what was the change made to the user(eg: details of the fields which were updated to the users, any profiles where added/removed to/from the user) which would help in auditing of changes.

    If you want user profile history for auditing then you have user profile history reports in OIM.Its keep the history of all the changes that happens on user profile.

  • Automatic Output determination for PO for EDI

    I have a requirement to generate IDOCs automatically when POs are created/changed (only for certain plants) and send this PO to a certain plant which is set up as a customer ( KU partner type in Partner profile )
    I have done the following :
    1) Created a Z output type - Z005
    2) Created Partner profile with message determination for ORDERS with process code Me10 (also added ORDCHG with ME11 later).
    3) Create condition table - 925 with PO output type and Plant as criteria
    4) Maintained and activated requirement routine(here i check if Mat. type is 'RAW' and force sy-subrc = 0) and access sequence.
    5) Maintained message schema and added my condition type (Z005) and requirement routine(911) there.
    6) I have config to submit IDOCs immediately in Partner profile and in NACE.
    But somehow, the output type Z005 for EDI (6) is not automatically created when I create a PO that matches my conditions.
    I am able to create an Idoc when I manually Key in Z005 in PO header message.Once i save after manually enter the message type, it is auto generating on any further updates.
    Am I missing any config to auto generate Z00t type output for EDI  for the first time?

                       I have a query for response and service profile.
    I have made the following settings in customization:
    1. Configured priority type with priorities assigned to it (1,2,3,4)
    2. Assigned Priority type to Notification type.
    3. Created response profile with hierarchy 1 and with following settings:
      a)     Priority  Tk Cat Type  Tk Code    Code  Interval  Unit
                 1             2                SM01      MKSF     30        MIN
                 1             2                SM01      ONSI        1         HR
                 1             2                SM01      TECO       4         HR
    4. Defined Service Profile with service window of 24*7, i.e. from 00:00:00 to 08:00:00, 08:00:00 to 18:00:00, and 18:00:00 to 24:00:00
    5. Attached above Response profile and Service window to Notification.
    but now when I am creating notification of above notification type and selecting specific priority I am not getting Tasks which I mentioned above to that priority.
    Kindly Suggest if I missed out something
