Returning Easyserv box?

I called the warranty center a few days ago and opened a case for an x220 with a cracked palmrest from the bending of the expresscard slot, and the top of the monitor is begining to crack. They sent me the box with 30 days to return it, but i have since read some reviews of ezserv and I think Id rather avoid the process. I discovered the parts on ebay and there inexpensive, plus I doubt the standard warranty covers cracks in the plastic. What do i do with the box? ship it back empty to the ezserv center anyway?

I doubt it's required. Had you sent them your X220 for service, they'd have returned it in another box with no expectation that you'd return that box. I have several of these boxes stacked up in the basement that I've "collected" over the years. No one has ever asked for them back.

While creating a PO in ME21N the return check box is automatically ticked.

Hi SAP Gurus,
I am facing a problem while creating a PO.
Every time I am trying to create a PO in ME21N, the return check box at the Item level of the PO is automatically getting ticked.
The check box can't be unticked even in change mode of the PO.
So all of the PO's with different document types are getting created with the Return check box ticked.
Can you help me to uncheck the Return tab in the Item level.
Please advice if any configuration is required or the code has to be modified.

Hi,
Go to the Table T007A, where you find the tax codes.
Input & out put taxes are the tax types.
In FTXP T.code give the tax code and click on the
Input tax codes are used for purchase cycle and out put taxes are for sales cycle. I Hope you have given the sales related tax code. Thats why system is giving the error message.
In T007 Table give the proper input and get the details.

That is how it is supposed to work. And how it was done
when my 3G was exchanged. If they do give you more
than just an iPhone, are you losing anything? If in doubt,
ask Apple or the store that is replacing your iPhone.

E-mail 'return too' box

Is there any way to automatically fill in the "return to" box in Apple's mail on my MacBook Pro? I could do such a thing on my old laptop using Outlook. I have managed to get the box to appear when I click "New Message', but I have to complete it manually each time I send an e-mail.
I guess it is too much to expect it to fill in the return address depending on the signature I choose!

Return PO box ticked for return PO document type

There is a help need for Badi. While creating a return PO in T Code ME21N, i want to get return PO field ( EKPO-RETPO) box ticked for Return PO document type. I found one BADI for ME_COMMITMENT_RETURN. I need help to use this badi.

Why don't use the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, method PROCESS_ITEM? You have a demo. The idea is:
data: ls_mepoitem type mepoitem,
        ls_header type ref to if_purchase_order_mm,
        ls_data_header type mepoheader.
ls_mepoitem = im_item->get_data( ).
ls_header = im_item->get_header( ).
ls_data_header = ls_header->get_data( ).
IF condition IS TRUE.    "with LS_MEPOITEM, LS_DATA_HEADER
    ls_mepoitem-retpo = 'X'.
ENDIF.
im_item->set_data( ls_mepoitem ).

Try to update QuickTime plugin, if it is not updated, uninstall and install it again.

Returning Set Top Box

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with returning equipment, particularly a set top box.
I called Verizon on June 10th and told them that I wanted to return an HD box that we've been renting to save $9.99 a month. They said that would be fine and that I would be receiving a paid return box to mail it back to them. I received an email the next day confirming the order change on the 10th, but the billing estimate included in the email says my bill will be the same and an HD Set Top Box is labeled as "existing" for my account. Also, it's now the 14th and I haven't received the paid return box.
Is any of this normal?

My experience is to take it to a UPS store, have shipped 3 or 4 boxes back to Verizon that way, worked great. The UPS store people should already know where to ship it, Verizon has a contract with UPS to handle this, and it should not cost you a thing.
One thing I would do is keep the tracking number and track the shipment all the way to Verizon and save all of that info just in case there is a screwup within Verizon and the box does not come off of your account and they try to charge you for it.

Returned HD SET TOP BOX but still being charged for it!!!!

I canceled my FIOS TV service on June 20th, and received the return kit on July 1st. I dropped off the package at my local post office on July 5th, as it was instructed on the return kit. I boxed the cable box, placed the provided shipping label, and dropped at the local post office.
A month later, I logged online to pay my monthly bill, I see that there is charged of $350.00 for unreturned set top box. So, I traced the package with the tracking number that I got from the post office.I found out that the package is still sitting at the post office that I went, even though It was a month later. I called verizon customer service center. I told the customer service representative that I returned the box. He says that I still have to pay for $350.00 because the package didn't arrive at the Verizon within 30 days of service stopped. BUT, I dropped off the package before the 30 days. I don't know what happened to the package at the post office, I never doubted that it would sit there. THAT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!! I told him that there must been mistakes at the post office. He says that I should've brought it to the local verizon center. BUT, THAT'S NOT WHAT THE RETURN KIT SAYS!!! I FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS AS VERIZON ASKED ME TO!! DROP OFF AT ANY LOCAL POST OFFICE!!!!!! He said he will request an investigation, and I will be notified. Now, that's 2 weeks ago...
I tried online chatting and made some other calls but, gets the same conclusion " someone will call you back" which never happened....
Meanwhile, I traced the package few times more, and it started moving after I made the phone call to verizon customer service center. Last time I traced it, it was in Greensboro, NC. So, I thought it will be all ok, once the investigator reaches me.
Guess what? Today, a package was delivered to my house... the cable box that I returned...
I called in again to explain everything again and let them know the new news, but still gives me the same answer.. "wait until notified."
so now, I don't know if I should keep this box until notified, I'm afraid if I will get charged another amount.
I'm so tire of waiting and the empty promises by Verizon. And I really don't know what to do!!
Anyone from Verizon willing to step-up and resolve this?

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Delete Free Goods Item from Sales Order Return

Hi Gurus!
Could you help me with my question below?
Version 6.0
We created a sales return with reference to a billing document containing a standard item and an inclusive free goods item.
During sales order processing we are trying to delete the free goods item and system does not allow us to do it.
Example:
Item         Mat              Quant.
10            AAA            10 bx              (Standard)
11            AAA             2 bx          (Free Goods u2013 Inclusive) -> Try to delete this line.
In our business customer can return any box/quantity and we need this flexibility to create returns with reference to both and one separated item.
Do you know if it is missing any configuration o if there is any Note for this topic?

Hi,
Free goods is determined automatically in the sales order so you cant delete it manually.
Generally free goods are determined on particular quantity.
Like for every 10quantity you will get 2free.
So if you reduce the quantity of the main item then you free goods will automatically go.
This is the one way in which you can do that.
Other way is that create the new document pricing procedure and assign that one your return document type in VOV8.
Then go to IMG u2013 SD u2013 basic function u2013 free goods u2013 condition technique for free goods u2013 activate free goods determination.
Over here check whether your free goods is activated for the newly created document pricing procedure or not.
If yes then remove that entry and save the setting.
Now create the sales order and check out whether free goods is coming or not.
Please assign the pricing procedure also for your newly created document procedure for your return document otherwise there will be no pricing the return document.

Recalculation of quantity in free goods for return order wrf to invoice

Hello everyone,
I want to recalculate quantity of free goods category in a return order created with reference to an invoice, if the quantity in the High Level Item Category has changed.
For example, a customer bought 100 boxes of product "A " and received 10 of these for free. Then he wants to return 60 boxes. When I create a return order with reference to the invoice and change these quantity from 100 to 60, free goods item category still shows 10 boxes instead of 6.
Recalculation must be take place acording to the pricing date determination in order to apply free goods in a valid date.
Customized features reviewing:
1. There's not Item Category Proposal for Target Sales Doc type of the Return order, but item category of source bill type has one an is set to Pricing Type "D".
2. High Level Item category of free goods category is relevant for billing and is set to M "Delivery - related invoices-no zero qtys (in main bath items)"
3. Free goods category assigment has NORM as item Category Group, FREE ussage, High Level Item category is determinated for return order document type and Item category by default is the free goods category.
I will appreciate your support to solve this issue.

My Discount Type of Free Goods determination is set to:
Calculation Rule: "2 - Unit reference"
Free Goods Category: "1 - Inclusive rebate (with item generation)"
Free Goods delivery control: "C - Delivery of main item is part. delivered, only with main item"
However, whatever the calculation rule is, if I change the quantity in the main item, subitem does not work.
I read about SAP Note 573598 that describes perfectly my problem, but is valid in 4.6 to 4.7 version and I have ERP version.

Return Purchase Order (MVT #161) Sales Area Determination on Purchase Order

Hi,
I am working on return purchase order (Purchase order with return check box ON at item level) and creating outbound delivery with VL10B and doing PGI to vendor.
Can someone help to figure out how sales area (sales org/distribution channel/Division) gets determine on purchase order item level "Shipping" tab ?
In other word, as shown below for return PO, I have sales area 1180/50/01. I want to determine different sales area.

However, you can enhance the system to use multiple sales areas for return by using retail sales area. The below notes give more details:

Purchase order Item return

Hi All,
when the customer return a material in ME23N transaction return check box is checked then in the back ground what will happend? i mean what abt the quatity, net price and gross value? when the item returns will the data of quantity, net price, gross value are updated in database with the - values?
Please help i am BI guy this information is urget for me

Returns to vendor PO with delivery..

Dear All,
When we process a return to vendor PO via ME21N , we selects the returns item box tick (Say company code - NZ01)
Once the warehouse have confirmed the stock has been despatched we have to then create a outbound delivery via VL10B and then go into change outbound VL02N and pick/post goods issue to despatch the stock in SAP.
But when we use another company code (Say UK01),we do not need to create an outbound delivery we just go into MIGO and post goods receipt the stock and as movement type is 161 it despatches the stock off the system. Is there any reason why first company code are unable to do this, when we tried to do it this way SAP advised the order contained no selectable items?
Is it due to delivery parameters are linked to the document type?

Hi,
This depends on the Return PO Documnet Type and Plant from where materials have been returned. Just check in option SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Returns Order > Returns to Vendor - Here check the Delivery Type "RL" assigned to the combination of PO Doc Type and Supplying Plant.
