Server Retries after StuckThreadMaxTime reached

Hello,
Having this flow :
PS HTTP @ ALSB 2.6.1 @ WLS 9.2 ----> JPD @ WLI 8.1 @ WLS 8.1 --> ServiceProvider
And when the service provider takes between 7 and 8 minutes to answer, we are having a :
+####<08-ene-2013 15H54' ART> <Error> <WebLogicServer> <webloguat> <TPBUSAPP2> <weblogic.health.CoreHealthMonitor> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-000337> <ExecuteThread: '47' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' has been busy for "428" seconds working on the request "Http Request: /processVENTAS/tp/processes/sync/solicitud/ActivarOfertaDSA.jpd", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "300" seconds.>+
Which is expected.
But what is not expected, is having a Retry of the JPD exactly after 300 seconds the 1st execution started, with the same message :
+[INFO] [08 ene 2013 15:42:04] [ActivarOfertaDSA_wf]: [description: Inicio de JPD [tp.processes.sync.solicitud.ActivarOfertaDSA_wf@8ad983] - Timestamp = [1357670524427]],+
+[serverName: TPBUSAPP1, consumerCode: WEBVAS, serviceCode: 20002, messageId: 311403781, conversationId: 311403781, userId: x000108],+
+[INFO] [08 ene 2013 15:47:06] [ActivarOfertaDSA_wf]: [description: Inicio de JPD [tp.processes.sync.solicitud.ActivarOfertaDSA_wf@c5c834] - Timestamp = [1357670826448]],+
+[serverName: TPBUSAPP2, consumerCode: WEBVAS, serviceCode: 20002, messageId: 311403781, conversationId: 311403781, userId: x000108],+
Another fun fact, is that the 2nds execution starts before the 1st finishes (The service provider is taking more than 300 secs to reply).
Why is it retrying?.
The 300 seconds difference has anything to do with the StuckThreadMaxTime (Which is set to 300 seconds) ?
Thanks in advance!!
Edited by: Mario Mesaglio on Jan 9, 2013 12:14 PM

Any thread which takes longer than StuckThreadMaxTime will be printed on logs. If you have configured StuckThreadMaxTime as 300 and a specific thread stays forever on thread pool, you will have it printed on jvm log files every 300secs. A thread only gets out of thread pool in two cases. 1- it completes all tasks it have to do, 2-jvm is restarted.
Thats why you can setup actions a jvm can take after a Stuck Thread. One of the actions is shutdown the jvm and set it as FAILED.

  • BEA-141151 The admin server could not be reached at ...

I have been at this for 3 days now... I created a new ManagedServer, but I'm not able to make it connect to the Admin server.
The Admin server is running and listening on port 5306. I can connect to the Admin Console (web).
I can also connect to the Admin server via WLST, using this command: connect('operator','operator01','t3://localhost:5306')
However, when I try to run the managed server from a script, it does not see the Admin server. This is the command I run:
    java -Dweblogic.Name=ManSer1 -Dweblogic.management.server=t3://localhost:5306 -Dweblogic.RootDirectory=<path to my domain> weblogic.Server
This is the error I get:
<BEA-141151> <The admin server could not be reached at http://localhost:5306.>
I believe it's trying to connect using "http", because I've never actually connected in the past. Here is a website explaining this: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13749/weblogicserver.htm#i1031832
Note: Regardless of which protocol you specify, the initial download of a Managed Server's configuration is over HTTP or HTTPS. After the RMI subsystem initializes, the server instance can use the T3 or T3S protocol.
I'm not sure what else to try... Firewalls are not in play, since this is traffic moving around on the local machine. I'm running on SunOS. Weblogic is version 9.2 MP3.
    Appreciate any help.

Is the NodeManager , AdminServer running ?The NodeManager is not running. Is it required?
Also, I haven't closed the command prompt.
I noticed the issue when I tried to deploy my project. Connected to Localhost/7001 but in the deploy project window, I dont see any soa_server instance
running. Also, in the console the soa_server status is shutdown.

  • Precalculation Server error after 10 broadcasted workbooks

    Hi gurus,
i have a question concerning broadcasting workbooks. We are using the newest precalculation server with patch 13. The first 10 workbooks are calculated and sent via email. The rest of workbooks calculated are sent as a job  but the RSRD_Log transaction shows an error. It begins with "Unresolved exception occured in the precalculation server" then next message "System.Runtime.InteropServices.comException. The RPC server is unavailable (Exception from HRESULT:xxxxxx) "
Then some other messages are displayed. Then at the end it says cannot precalculate Workbook. In rsprecadmin  the server is green and ready.
Is there any restrictionin sending via Email?
How can i get the server again to continue sending?
How can i clear the queue, to get the precalculation server ready to continue scheduled workbooks?
    Thanks and kind regadrs,
    Murat

    Hi Edward,
we are testing the broadcast functionality and we want to go live first week in september. I hope you remember and suggested me the note which came out in CW33 with the precalculation server patch 13 . we are using it but still NVs but there is also the issue with the sizing. Last night we scheduled 16 times the same workbook. All 5 minutes one workbook should be sent out. 2 Precalculation server were set up to deal with them. In the SAP document "How to ...Troubleshoot Information Broadcasting (BEx Workbooks)" in chapter 2 it is mentioned that when ycurrently you can have 10 workbooks in the queue. Therefore we set up 2 precalculation server with 10 workbooks capacity. Then we set in the Broadcast setting the load balancing option without selecting any precalculation server. My intention would be the first 10 workbooks should be broadcasted with one of the precalculation server. After he has reached his capacity the next workbooks would be broadcasted with the second precalculation server. Am i wrong?
When i check the queue i see the 16 workbooks in "Queue Overview of Proccessed Error-Free Precalculations" but with a duration with 0 seconds. the log says  in RSRD_LOG says as described before the first message is "Unresolved exception occurred on the precalculation server" then "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800 0706BA): The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception" and at the end "Cannot precalculate workbook ZBROADCAST_TEST". I can see that when load balancing the second server is not used.
But while seraching for precalculation server it says "Precalculation server PRECALC_2 has only                                                 0 free instanzen => not selected" but why. it has never been used why 0 instances free?

I have an environment with ICM 8.0(2) integrated with UCM 8.0.2.40000 and IPIVR 8.02.11005.

The message that caught my attention was the following: 16:55:04:187 unknown-ctios Trace: CRequestBroker::OnRequest(), ClientConnectionID[15494]::WARNING!!! Number of supported agent mode connections [2000] by one CTI OS Server pair has been reached.
But in our environment has only 250 agents
Anyone seen this before? Thanks very much

    Hi Gergely,
I analyzed the following situation: when the agent logs in the CTI OS Toolkit the client opens a lot of sessions with differents ports.
    Like the following example:
      TCP    bbaproggerp1:42028     mv8011:4544  ESTABLISHED
      TCP    bbaproggerp1:42028     mv8011:4545  ESTABLISHED
      TCP    bbaproggerp1:42028     mv8011:4546  ESTABLISHED
      TCP    bbaproggerp1:42028     mv8011:4548  ESTABLISHED
Where mv8011 is the hostname of the machine and 4544,4545,4546 and 4548 are the ports of CTI OS Client connected on port 42028.
When the agent disconnect of the application just one connection is closed then  if it logs again another two connections will be open.

  • "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server could not be reached"

It won't let me set up my phone due to the wifi- it keeps coming up with "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server could not be reached". The wifi is definitely working- I'm using it now! However, after you have entered the password for this wifi you do have to enter details into a portal but this hasn't popped up so I can't do it.  This is the wifi I have, any ideas? Thank you in advance

3 possible causes for this message:
1] activation server is actually down. Extremely rare occurrence and of very short duration
    if it happens.
2] iPhone is jailbroken or hacked.
3] computer the iPhone is hooked to has been used to jailbreak or hack iOS devices.
For 1], try again. Try different wifi at friend's, school, public place like Starbucks or McDonalds.
For 2] & 3], you are on your own. Google may provide some insight. Terms of Use for this
forum prohibit discussion of hacked and jailbroken devices.

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

  • Error: The e-mail server could not be reached when the system was trying to

    Dear All,
I've configured the Mail Transport in Portal successfully with SMTP as MS Exchange Server and Third-party Mailing servers. But due to some licensing issues a new MS Exchange mail server have been setup replacing the existing ones.
And when i configure the Mail Transport in the system i get the below message on the eMail Window:
"Error: The e-mail server could not be reached when the system was trying to send the message!
    javax.mail.MessaginException: 530 5.7.1 Client ws not authenticated
I've configured (all the steps) the same way as i used to before and restarted the server as well! Please let me know the issue to be resolved, the telnet to the mailserver is also successful. I've try'd searching SDN, didn't find the exact solution... any notes on this?
    Thanks,
    MS

    Hi,
It will depend on your infrastructure, I am not sure and have limited knowledge on netowrks, but in my current landscape both the system were in same domain, but  still i had to maintain proxy configuration.
Since it giving authentication error, it feel it could be proxy error.
Please refer below links which talks about same error :
    http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/FAQ.html#smtpauth
Or else i think it is issue with port.

System Administration à System Configuration à Collaboration à Groupware Transports
System Administration à Universal Worklist & Workflow à workflow à Mail
Please tell me am in the correct part of configuration of mail or is that any other place to set configurations?
As our friend (Arun) mentioned in his first thread to activate Mailing Service, i couldnt see this setting in my WAS7.0.
+1. Activate Mailing Service by going to
System Administration à System Configuration à Knowledge Management à Content Management à Mailing Service.
Ensure Active check box is selected.+
Is there any other settings i am missing?
The error my CAF GP giving is "The system failed to send an e-mail notification to "
    Your help is highly Applauded
    Thanks! in advance.
    Regards,
    Kishore

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:
*Restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode Windows 8], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-vista Windows Vista], [http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true" Windows XP], [http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564 OSX]
; If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.

  • I am trying to link my PC to my Mac and Iphone and I pad. I can't use my Itunes account on my PC - when I try and enter Icloud on my computer i get a server error after I put in my e-mail and password.

Question - Trying to use Icloud on a PC - I get a server error after I put in my e-mail and password. Why? I can sync up all my devices from Itunes with my MaC, Iphone and IPad but I can't do it with my PC

I regret that you're having trouble setting up your email, corbad! You're on the right track with your incoming email address. You might also try incoming.verizon.net or incoming.yahoo.verizon.net as possible alternatives, and 995 as the port number. Please let me know how that goes!

looks like the connect string is wrong / especially that you use - I think SOA Suite ..
    so the string should be
    java.naming.provider.url=opmn:ormi://<hostname>:<opmnport -> 6003>:home/orabpel
