SRM 7.01 Backend Contracts creation with XI/PI ESOA Service

Hello, we are implementing SRM 7.01 PPS with Extended Classic Scenario. We need to create contracts backend contracts ( ECC) from RFX RESPONSE at SRM. As we have ECC 6.0 EHP 5 we have to use Esoa services. The problem is that we have set up PI but no contract is created at ECC ( not even in SRM) when we pressed button "  create contracts" from rfx response even thought the message at SRM is " contracts XXXXXX created" I think we are missing some customizing in ECC.
We have already implemented badi BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
I read note 1268821 who explains that we have to activate business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 in ECC but I think this only apply for "CENTRAL CONTRACTS" and we dont want to use central contracts. We just want to creates contracts at ECC from rfx response in SRM. I couldn´t find any documentation about this, just for Central Contracts or backend contracts creation (through idocs) . Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best Regards
Liam

The first interface that try to get out from SRM was " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1", thus based on this interface we made the configuration on PI. So, after pressing button " create contract" on srm if we execute tx SXI_MONITOR in SRM we found the interface " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1" and in the backend system ( ECC) at tv SXI_MONITOR we found interface PurchasingContractERPRequest_In_V1 for this contract with black and white flag ( processed successfully) but no contract created in ECC not even SRM.
Anyway we have checked that inbound proxy  is executed but we dont see any contract created
Is this the right Interface? We are missing something?
Best regads and thanks again for your help!

  • Idoc settings for Backend Contract creation in SRM 5.0

    Hello,
Im working on SRM 5.0 (HP 11) and want to create a Backend contract in R/3 (46C) directly.
I do not need Local Contracts or GOAs en SRM!
As I interprete the config guide for Sourcing (page 59 and 70-75, the scenario I need uses the BADIs:
    BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS   (determining Back End System)
BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE (for Mapping SRM settings with R/3)
I also understand that the Idoc configuration only needs to be done in the backend!!?  (page 73 / 74)
    Trx: WE42 and WE20.
Is this correct? Or do I have to maintain also the the IDOCs config in the SRM system?
    Thanks for any clue.

  • Contract creation with RFQ

    Hi,
For consignment process RFQ cannot be created, but contracts can be created for consignment process.
when I am creating contract for item category K (Consignment) and then adopting the details by reference to RFQ, then item category field gets greyed out.
why it is happening like this?
firstly you cannot create RFQ for consignment process then if you want to adopt the details from RFQ to create consignment contract then this field is getting greyed.
then why the option create with reference is given in contract?
    thanks

    Hi Ragavendra,
Refer to first point :  1)Standard SAP  Doc type "AN"  for RFQ not allows to create Consignment RFQ ,, so you you need to create your doc type and enable " K" consignment item ctg for your doc type..  then you can create Consignemnt RFQ,,
2)w.r.to this rfq u can contract,,
    for your second query:
Contract can be created w.r.to RFQ for other item ctg.. like Standard,, service (D)and third party(S)
hope this will answer your queries..
Please reward the justified points ,,if this clarifies you.

  • Contract Creation with Ref Quotation

    Hi All,
Client requirement is when ever we create the contract with ref to quotation, that contract value should not exceed the quotation value.
Ex: we are create a quotation for $1m ,system should not allow the user to create the contract more than $1m.

  • SRM 7.0 Central Contract- Distribution to backend failure

    Hello experts,
We are implementing SRM 7.0 Central contracts scenario with PI.
The Contracts get created and Released but the problem is that the Distribution to backend fails. The Status in BBP_PD shows 'Distribution Incorrect' and the RZ20 gives an error 'Backend data cannot be read'.
We checked all the configuration settings (including the PI settings) and everything seems to be in order.
Would appreciate if someone could throw some light on the potential cause of the problem.
    Thanks
    Raman.

Message must have created . check all SRM outbound transactions .but PI could not catch them.
Note 1284369 - User attributes check in Contract distribution via services - what is your SP level in SRM 700.
The sap stratergy in earlier version
table in ECC BBPD_CTR_IDOCREF with message 019-This will result in setting the GOA status to 'Distribution Incorrect'.
so SAP might have tried the same way in CCTR as well, Once message are created and this message number like IDOC number updated in ECC table for the further refrence .so like wise SRM trying to communicate the same to ECC but it would have failed.
do you remeber when GOA idoc fails this table we will have reference number and reprocessing idoc.
like any reference of your input must register in one ECC table but there may have this table or some other reference table.

  • Creation of backend contract from SRM system?

    Dear Experts,
I am bit confused with the scenario of creation of backend contract from SAP SRM system? It says in few cases, based on the BAdi 'BBP_DETERMINE_Logsys', the system creates a backned contract directly in a backend ERP system. Why do we need when we have central contract?
We can meet the same requirement through central contract where we will authorize only purchasing organizations of a backend system and block the contract for local sourcing in SRM?
Secondly, How to find a contract / scheduling agreement created in a backend system when a central contract is distributed to the backend system?
    Thanks and regards,

  • Condition types in SRM for mapping purposes with backend contracts

    Hello,
We need to map condition types for the creation of a Backend contract on the basis of a accepted bid.
We use SRM 5.0 but our products do not have prices in their product master!
We use the catalog funcion to indicate the prices of the materials. for service-items we manually add the prices in the Shopping cart.
How can I find out what conditions types we use in these circumstances in SRM 5.0?
What condition type are we using in the case of materials?
What condition type are we using in the case of service-items?
    Thanks for any reply.
    Aart

    Hi
You can map the condition type 01CT (gross price) in SRM with PB00 for Gross Price in contracts. Standard SRM  generally work with simple pricing with gross price condition types and do not have complex conditions unless you customize it. For material or services, it should matter from condition perspective unless you have done some specific customization.

  • Shopping Cart creation with reference to Backend Contract

    Dear Experts,
We are working in SRM 7.0 Classic Scenario.
We have Backend Contract with document type PCTR which is available as Source of Suppliy when creating Shopping cart.
I can use this contracts as source of supply but the issue is when the Shopping cart total quantity crosses the target value of the Contract quantity there was no error message as the quantity has exceeded the target quantity.
The system is allowing me to create the Shopping cart but after approval the Shopping cart is showing the status as Approved and not creating PO or PR.
Is there any configuration available to get the update if the quantity in SC crosses the Target quantity of the backend contract.
It is also OK if the SC goes to Purchasers work list if the target quantity is crossed.
Kindly reply to this thread immedeately.
    Regards,
    B.N.Karthikeyan.

    Hi
target quantity or Target value ?
what about your Contract value contract - target value or target quantity
i aware value contract is throwing message if the sc exceeds the contract value.
    share your contract details.
is it created in ECC or CCTR or GCTR . target quantity for materials or taget value for that material

  • Contract creation in Backend with Idoc message type BLAORD

    Hello,
We are creating Backend contracts from the Bidding engine functionality. We only want to create backend contracts and did the necesary configuration.
    We activated BADI: BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
    Method CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE.
We did not yet implement BADI:
    BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE in SRM 5.0
In SAP R/3 Backend system (Version 46C) we see SAP is trying to create a contract via Idoc message Type: BLAORD.
In the trx BD87 in the backend we get status 51 :
    Mesage number: 00 055
"Make an entry in all required fields"
In the segments of the Idoc however we do not see which field is missing!
How can we best analise this problem. Or maybe anyone can give us a a hint what is missing.
    Thanks for any reply.

    Hello RRK,
In ref. to your mentioning to change the backend configuration from WKK to MKK might not be as easy to do for organizations.  As those configurations effect the overall creation of purchasing document types in R/3.
The Key issue is why the "Target Value" in the Header of the SRM GOA does not get transferred to the R/3 contract.  That's why the issue is still there.
Were you guys able to figure out why that was missing? In the BLAORD IDoc the Target Value seems to not get transferred from SRM - its 0.00 if the IDoc is reviewed in WE19.  This seems to be the problem.
Just wanted to know if you see the same issue in ur system.
    Thanks.

  • SRM- Pucchase Order and Contract (backend) Tolerance failures

Using SRM 7 Extended classic scenario with ECC 6.0.  Tolerances have been set up in ECC and SRM.
The Contract is raised in the backend and replicated into SRM.
In SRM, both PPOMA and Vendor groups have been assigned the correct TOG.
Raising a Shopping Cart that exceeds the Contract Target value, but it within the Tolerance, works fine.  However, once the Shopping Cart is approved, the back end PO creation fails, leaving the SC status as Saved.  A review of SLG1 says that the PO exceeded the Contract value and displays errors for both Quantity and Target Value.
Any ideas on where to investigate appreciated.

    Hi Gerry
give more precise data about TOG you given in org structure
so you will get more suggestions from other people. it is power of SDN
created PO successfully in ECC via ECC request
no PO created successfully in ECC via SRM request
give more data on sc /pr /contract data ( quantity or value contract) for better understanding

I'm having similar problems btu with repsect to SRM PO's against Contracts raised in the backend (replicated into SRM)
Our infrastructure -s SRM 7 Extended Classis Scenario and ECC 6.
I have tolerances setup in ECC and SRM and the TOG has been assigned in SRM Vendor Groups and in the HR Org Structure (PPOMA).
Tolerance are 5% up to $100.00
If I raise a Contract in ECC, and a PO (MM) in ECC, then the PO will work if I stay within the allowed tolerances.
When I raise a PO in SRM, the Shopping Cart is processed OK, but when the SC is approved, the backend PO is not created.
In the Shopping cart in Related Documents for document Purchase Order, the Satus is set to Saved. A review of SLG1 indicates error due to exceeding the quantity and the Target value.
Why are tolerances not being taken into consideration? How do I get this to work?

  • Sales Order Creation with reference to Contract

    Hi all ,
    Existing Setup in the System:
    1)  I have a contract created with a validity period of 30 days. When i create sales order with reference to contract, then i get a pop-up box, from the box i can select my contract.
    2) I have a Lead time configured as 5 days for the Sales document type , I,e when I create sales order I can see my Requested delivery date is always system date + 5 days.
    3) I have a Pricing date configured as Today’s date. Therefore when I create sales order I can see pricing date becomes the system date.
    Execution of Sales Order:
    4) When I create Sales Order with reference to contract document. Always Requested Delivery date is compared with Contract Validity Dates.
    Example: Contract Validity 01/03/2008   -    31/03/2008
Sales Order: Sales Order Creation date -> 19/03/2008, Pricing Date: 19/03/2008 Requested delivery date 24/03/2008.
    REQUIREMENT IS:
But my requirement is when i create Sales Order it should consider System date or Pricing Date( since pricing date is today date)  for to compare with contract validity dates.
Can it be done with standard config or do we need to some type of custom?  Appreciate your help
    Thanks

    Hi ,
As said when I create Sales Order with reference to contract document. Always Requested Delivery date on Sales Order is checked against Contract Validity Dates.
But i want Pricing date  in Sales Order should be checked against Contract Validity Dates.

  • Po Creation With Reference to contract

    Dear Experts
We are creating the purchase order with reference to contract the contract quantity not copied to po. it is asking to enter the qty. but it should copy the contract quantity. the same contract price also not copied to po. it is copying from the info record price.
my scenario is at the time of po creation with reference to contract it should copy the contract qty and price any copy control assignment is there or any other settings required.
    Please help
    Regards
    Anand

    Hi,
If a contract with one of your principal vendors exists for a material, you can create purchase orders referencing this contract. Purchase orders created in this way are called contract release orders.
The price, vendor data,  terms of payment, delivery costs, and any instructions to the vendor are adopted from the contract automatically.
If  you have created the contract & info records is also exists  then system will give priority to contract to determine the conditions.
Please check the source list ,whether contract is maintained over there or not.
    Thanks,

  • Contract Creation in SRM 7.0 classic scenario

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 EHP 4 and CLM 2. We are creating contracts in SAP CLM and pushing into as Global outline agreement.
    Question is  -
    1)  Can we  create  contracts in SRM 7.0 Classic scenario ?
    2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
    3) How  we can  transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
What are the mandatory fields required to transfer the CLM contracts contracts to ECC  outline agreement -  I know ,Vendor, Purchase org, Pur grp, company code are required - is product catagory is also a mandatory field.
    Rgds/Pawan

    Hi Pawan,
Please find the answered for your questions:
    Question is -
    1) Can we create contracts in SRM 7.0 Classic scenario ?
Mitesh: Yes we can very well create in Classic Scenario as well in SRM 7.0.SC can be pushed to SOCO based on the Prod Category configuration in SPRO.From SOCO PO, Contract and RFX can be created for SC.
    2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
Mitesh: I dont think we can use ECC outline agreement as source of supply in SRM while creating SC.Contract replication in SRM 7.0 with EHP 4 ECC is eSOA based and ONLY Outbound to SRM (inbound to ECC).Contract cannot be replicated from ECC to SRM.
    3) How we can transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
+Mitesh: Standard intergeration of CLM/ESO to SRM 7.0 is very much there in roadmap for future releases of SRM/ESO.+
+As of now there is a consulting solution available to integerate ECC and ESO/CLM.+
+This logic can be leveraged to integrate ESO/CLM to SMR 7.0 (or lower version) requiring Developement effort from SRM functional,SRM technical,PI, Basis,ESO and java consultants.+
+Such contracts can be forced to be used as Source of Supply or alternatively replicated to ECC Via standard repliation scenario.+
    Hope this helps.

    Mitesh

  • Purchase order creation with reference to Contract

    Dear All
Purchase order creation with reference to quantity contract the contract quantity is not copied in to po. any configuration copying rules required. please guide
    Regards
    Anand.

    Hi Buddy
The correct business process is RV Preq created by a user from any department then buyer converts this Preq to a MK contract with some quantity keeping the duration as some months/year. Then as and when material mentioned in the contract is required during the validity period of the contract MRP creates Preq or buyer manually creates NB preqs , same are then converted to PO but these PO are released against MK contract. So qty in PO are different then mentioned in contract because contract is for  a large qty keeping in mind the duration (for example one year).

  • Contract creation in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 as backend ECC EH4. I want to create Global Outline Agreement (GCTR) in SRM which will replicate on ECC but I donu2019t want to use PI so thatu2019s why I mentioned system type ERP_2.0 instead of ERP_4.0 in Define System Landscape because I donu2019t want to use CCTR.
Internal Number range in SRM and External Number Range in ECC for Contract is same. Document type GCTR defined in ECC and Transaction type in SRM is same.  Defined Message type COND_A (process code COND) and BLAORD (process code BLAO) in ECC system as Inbound Parameters.
Badi BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE has been implemented in SRM for company code and
Badi  BBP_CTR has been Implemented in ECC for mapping company code .
Same settings has been defined for SRM 5.0 and Contract has been replicated in backend system but in SRM 7.0  Contract is not replicating in ECC system as well as I am not getting any logs in WE05 , SMQ1 , SMQ2 , SLG1 , SMW01 , BBP_CTR_MON and RZ20 whereas in Contract Status it is showing RELEASED status.
In many threads I read that if system type defined in System Landscape as ERP_2.0 or ERP_3.0 then PI is not mandatory and Contract or Purchase Order created through Idoc / BAPI. Is it possible or not or if possible then which settings I am missing or which monitoring transactions I have to use , please suggest me.
