To stock transfer the RM to Production storage Location
Dear All,
I want to stock transfer the RM from Store to production storage location after that I have to pick the material against Production Order from Production Storage Location.
How I can carry out this scenario.
I am trying through Pull list.
please give ur valuable inputs.

Hi Vijay,
To tranfer the stock from store to Prod storage location , u can do in two ways,
1.Pull list - By accesing the Pullist with the production order .if there is no enough stock to meet production qty at production storage location , system calculate the missing part and asks replenishment storage location. here u have to give your store as repl.storage location
2. Enter tranfer posting.( MB1B) - using this u can tranfer the stock dierctly from the store to prodution storage location. u have to use 311 Mvt type and define Rec storage location is store.
3. Enter good issue MB1A - u can pick the raw material with reference to your prodution order using 261 Movement Type.

You can execute the goods movement in IM (one-step or two step) and after that you can process the TRs which are generated when posting GI/GR (hopefully your config is OK and TR is created automatically; else you have to maintain WM-IM interface). You can process the relevant TR from LB10 both in supplying plant (TO wiill be created from TR --> stock removal) and in receiving plant (TO will be created from TR --> putaway TO)
Stock transfer with delivery:
In supplying plant you have to pick the delivery (you have to create TO), you can do this e.g. via trx LT03, VL06O, VL02N (from "Subsequent functions" manu). In receiving plant you have to process the TR (from LB10) which is generated when GR is posted.
(based on your WM-IM interface setting you may not get TR but immediate TO creation can be triggered, etc. If you are using inbound delivery as well you have to create putaway TO, etc.)
Please specify your problem you are facing - in this case you may get specific answer.

Stock Transport Order UB order- Delivering Storage Location
We have UB / Stock Transport orders in place. Now we start a new flow of Stock Transport orders from a different Storage Location. When creating a UB order I only have the option to enter delivering Plant, not delivering SLoc.
So far I have a configged a new SLoc, SLoc reference , a new Shipping Condition.
What can I do to pull my materials for this new flow from my new SLoc?

Check out You have assigned all Company code, Plant & Storage location. If it is assigned properly you will get it in Stock Transport order. T.Code: Mb1b Movement type: 301 you can check it out

Missing parts and production storage location
Can the production storage location in the material master for a component on a BOM be set to blank to pull in all inventory in the plant when calculating missing parts in a production order? I am finding that the blank production storage location is NOT pulling in all inventory in all storage locations; I honestly think that is how it should work but would like to see what others think or have run into. This can be done by system to carried out Avilability check plant level instead of storage location level. For that plz do the settings as suggested by our member.
Check the "No.Stor.Loc.Insp" in OPJJ for checking group and Checking rule combination and assign the same checking group to material at MRP view.
Donot Assign storage location for components in material Master and BOM item.

I am having exactly the same requirement. My requirement is that i need to split one Sale Order line into multiple line items in delivery based on the stock in a particular storage location at the time of delivery creation.
Eg.
Line item 10 in Sale order for quantity 100.
Storage location stock in the priority
ST01 = 40
ST02 = 25
ST03 = 2000
I wish to have 3 line items in delivery like
Line item Storage Location Qty
10 ST01 40
20 ST02 25
30 ST03 35
I was able to do the same in the BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC ~ SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
But i am facing problems regarding the inconsistency in delivery document such as Picking status update etc
Suggest if there is any better method to do.

Budget error while issuing stock to the project based production order
Ours is project based Engineering company, we mfg euipments for the client which is part of the project.
We define separate WBS element for equipment to be manufacture & create reservation under this WBS element.
Secondly we follow production process through PP & define BOM for equipment which contains component rquired to mfg the equipment. To control cost(budget) component group wise we create separate sub WBS element for each component group(plates, motors etc) under above equipment WBS element
Kindly refer e.g.below
1. Equipment (Finished code) to be manufacture is attached on WBS MYC-210952-06-03
2. Production order(1003780) created with reference to above WBS element
3 Material procured under WBS MYC-210952-06-03-001
4. Stock available under WBS MYC-210952-06-03-001
We would like to issue material available under MYC-210952-06-03-001 to production order which is attached to WBS MYC-210952-06-03. (Tcode MB1A)
System allows to issue stock, but gives budget error.
Is it possible to transfer budget auto in the transaction MB1A itself from MYC-210952-06-03-001 to MYC-210952-06-03 or what is the best solution available for above situation.

You have consumed a budget at lower level WBS for material procurement. And at upper level you want to do stock transfer.
But while doing budget allocation you have distributed the budget from Upper level to lower level so there is no distributable value is avaialble at upper level for the amount of the materail stock you want to transfer.
In this either you have to keep your all budget values at upper level where your doing equipment aeembly and not distribute the budget further at lower level.
Now you alredy this so you cant do anything.
Now you have following option available with you. You have perform following activity by the given sequence.
Deactivate the Budget check by CJBW
Do your stock transfer
Do budget return by CJ38 from level WBS to upper level WBS
Now Activate the budget check by CJBV.

Material Transfer from cost center to storage location
Dear Experts,
Can anyone please tell me what is the movement type for transfer posting of material from Cost center to storage location?
We have bought materials for certain cost centers, but we didn't use all our materials and we would like to put it again in our stock.

1. If you bought the goods with "K" account assignment PO, you should cancel the GR (MBST or MIGO). After that you can receive the parts as stock items and post GI (MIGO + 201 / MB1A + 201) against cost center with the quantity you really used from them.
2. If you received the goods into unrestricted stock (GR against PO with no account assignment, MIGO + 101 ) and later you posted GI for cost center (MIGO + 201 / MB1A + 201), you can do the reverse movement (no cancellation!; MIGO + 202 / MB1A + 202) and this way receive the remaining goods into stock.
You can also use MIGO + 202 in case of point "1", but cancellation and after that GI with already consumed qty would be the exact solution I think.

1. I was aware of the fact that stock is valued at plant level and it was not possible in standard. I was looking if anyone has done any innovative solution for this requirement.
2. Jürgen L - Thanks for the user exit, I was checking this yesterday and thought of check the Quantity in SLoc * Material Price to check the value before posting.
3.Joshua Albert - I had already configured EWS but business is not happy as there is no restriction only an exception email.
The issue is we are have a sales channel, where we created each Saleman as Storage Location and Transfer the stock to Salesman Storage Location and they do door to door selling to retail outlets and then after 2 days they come back with actual sales invoices which are recognized as sales which is consumed from their Sloc and again stock in transferred to their location, but there is no control on this.
I looked at changing the solution to customer consignment with credit management but credit management doesn't work for consignment fill up.

MCHB,MARD - Stock available at plant level and storage location level
Hi ,
How to determine how much stock available at Storage location level and Plant level. (Lot is not maintained).
In MCHB-Stock at lot level is shown.
In MARD-Stock at Storage Location level is shown lncluding
the stock maintaned at the lot level.
If i want to know the stock which is not maintained in Lot, i.e, Stocks directly maintained at Storage location / Plant.
Do I need to subtract the MCHB Value from MARD Value ?
Is there any other way available to find the stocks which is not maintained at lot level.

What do u mean by stock maintained at SL level without batch level. Do u mean that some materials are subjected to batch management and some or not?
If that is the case, for all batch managed materials, u can see the stock at batch level and also same is summed up at SL level. But still what ever u are getting from MARD table isstock at SL level only.
If u have activated batch management for any material, it will always be shown at lot level also.

If you want to default it based on plant, you may maintain the storage loc for external procurement in MRP2 view as shown below:
The same will be defaulted when the plant is entered in the PO. If you change the plant in PO, the storage location maintained in the MRP view of that plant will be defaulted in the PO. You may test the scenario and revert back. Please note that the same storage location will be defaulted for all external procurement.
Also, I hope the users will be creating PO for the particular plant only. If so, maintain the storage location in the personal settings - default values tab. Then the particular storage location will be always defaulted in ME21N for the particular user. You may choose any of the options.

I checked in OMS9,field selction group as 77 which contains 3 field names.MARC-KZECH, MARC-LGPRO,MARC-VSPVB. in which i want to make MARC-LGPRO alone as Reqiure entry.

Stock transfer using PICK LIST / PULL LIST

We have two storage locations in the plant say 1000 - Main store which is ware house managed and 2000 - Production storage location.
The goods issue needs to be done from production storage location 2000. How to transfer the material from 1000 - Main store which is ware house managed to 2000 - Production storage location using PICK LIST / PULL LIST concept.

RMPU stock transfer reservations 00000412 22.03.2010 created successfully
But does not move the goods using 311 movement type and stock is still in the raw material storage location.
2ndly in MMBE, if i found the stock in Produciton location, it shows me
Reserved 20.000
GR blocked stock 20.000
Rcpt reservation 20.000
If you can enlighten me in this area please, Would it move the stock or I need to make some other steps also.

Routing in Stock Transfer Order

We are having SAP 4.7 & we have activated Transportation Routing process.
Routing is copied in Sales order & Delivery. But the same is not copied in the stock transfer Order. We are doing following steps.
We are using Stock Transfer order to transfer the material from One storage location to another storage location. Supplying Plant & Receiving Plant are same in Stock transfer Order. We are entering Receiving STorage location & Shipping point in the STO.
Is this b'coz of Supplying plant & receing plant are same in the STO ? Or i need to active something els for this.

this is one of the problems caused by an organisation structure that is not quite matching the "real world".
In SAP each Plant should have a unique address and the storage locations are thought of as areas within that address.
If you have two sites that have different addresses, they should <u>ideally</u> be separate plants. You can then use all of the available functionality within SAP that you would expect.
If you want to set up a route that goes from one address to another than this is possible, but in your case you are actually saying that you want a route for s delivery from and too the same address, not really a real world scenario.
So if you really want to do this then each site should be a plant. I expect that it is too late to change your design but it is important for others reading this to understand the problems that are caused when Storage locations are used instead of Plants for physically separate addresses.
Sorry if this is not much help to you but it should help you to understand why you are having a problem.

As mentioned I would like to know the working of AFS and ROD storage locations in EWM.
ROD -- F1 Unrestricted in putaway , AFS -- F2 -- Available for sale.
1. I can perform goods receipt for both the storage location using inbound delivery.
For ROD stock will go to stock type F1
For AFS stock will go to stock type F2.
2. As per the information I can not perform goods issue from ROD ie I can not create a Outbound delivery to issue the goods from ROD storage location.
3. If any goods issue is needed I should transfer the goods from ROD storage location Stock type F1 to AFS storage location in EWM, may be by transfer posting.
Does these points make sense ?

In EWM we have to use two storage locations : 0001 (ready on dock ) and 0002 (available for sale )...
In configuration ewm : availibility group 001 + 0001 and availibility group 002 + 0002
availibility group 001 + F1 and availibility group 002 + F2
Create delivery and confirm the warehouse task : stock moves to 001 F1 , Storage type maintained in Warehouse process type > and this will trigger receipt in 0001 at IM
Later when the goods receipt is posted in EWM from delivery the stock will move from 001 / F1 to 002/ F2 in 0002 store in IM
