Troubles using graphs in labview 6i

Hello,
I am using labview 6i and I have troubles with graphs.
This is very simple.
I create a new VI, then right clic with the mouse to open the command palette, select a graph, and then try to put it on the front window. Immediatly, an error windows opens and says something like (it's written in french): "error:image.cpp,line 4149. etc..."
Is it a known bug and is there a soft to update and solve this trouble?

The problem is an incompatibility between LV and the video driver. The
correct fix is probably to download the latest video driver from the
manufacturers web site. Another thing to do is to open the video driver
configuration and often there is a setting for acceleration. Turning
the acceleration down will sometimes make the problem go a
way. Other
things to try is to try other video depths and possibly different
monitor sizes.

CIE chromacity graph in labview

Has anyone ever implemented CIE chromacity graph in labview.
Please let me know how to approach this problem.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I can get the required x, y values.
Its plottig these values on a real CIE graph. The discussion you , I have
taken a look that long ago. It discusses how get CIE values, which is
not a problem. Also I am attaching a screenshot of a software which uses
a simple x,y plot, with a reference point, at 0.313 and 0.329 and takes
realtime RGB values values and plots them as a point. Is it posible to do
somehting like this in labview. Either of them is good enough for me.

The standard Excel Insert Graph.vi cannot insert multiple XY Graphs to Microsoft Excel, so you will need to use the Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office. You will find a link to an example program at the bottom of the page. I have also attached it below.

Use VB with labview active X

i have the LabVIEW 7 now. Can i use VB to import the graph from labview?If can not then what should i do in order to use the labview graph in VB?

You can use VB to access the data from your LabVIEW VI but you can't host the LV graph control in your VB application. If you're looking for a native graph control for VB, check out ni.com/mstudio. There's UI controls there that include graphs as well as many of the other UI controls you find in LabVIEW. There are version for VB 6 as well as .NET.

I would like to convert a matlab file into a .dll and use it in LabVIEW. However, when I run the .dll in LabVIEW I get an error stating "... Procedure not found". What could this be? Can anyone help me...

I wish to convert my Matlab files into .dll's so that I can use them in LabVIEW. I am using 'mcc' and 'mbuild' of Matlab to convert my .m files into .c and .dll.
When I try to run the .dll's in LabVIEW, I get an error message in a modal window stating some required .dll or procedure is not found.
How should I resolve this issue. Should I add any other Matlab .dll's in course of making my .dll?

I'm having trouble using Adobe Reader

I'm having trouble using or uninstalling Adobe Reader, i get a message when the programme has been anitiated which says Adobe Reader has encountered a problem and needs to close, i went on to Adobe's website and it said try uninstalling Adobe Reader and then re-install it as this sometimes works, i tried un-installing it from the Add or Remove programme but that didn't work either as i got another message telling me that the patch package could not be verified and to make sure i have permission.

HEEEEEELP - trouble using Apple ID

Some time ago i changed my e-mail adress and therefore i had to change my Apple ID to the new e-mail. So far so good.
I now have trouble using my Apple ID on my iPhone. It automatically logs on the old Apple ID, but there is no code for that Apple ID anymore. When i use the password i used with my old Apple ID, it will not accept (i have not changed it - only the "username")
When i go into my Apple ID account, the old e-mail adress is deleted (only the new e-mail adress is in my account), so how can it be, that the old Apple ID is the one my phone wants to use?
I have tried changing my password on the old account, by pressing "fotgot password", but the mail to reset my Apple ID is sent to my new e-mail and therefore it is the password to my new Apple ID i'm changing.
I hoped it only was a problem because the old phone had already been logged in with the old Apple ID, but i have just recieved my new iPhone 5s and now i can't get all my previous purchases and stuff to the new phone, because it also wants to use the old Apple ID, and i still have no password.
It is also causing my iCloud to not work proberly.
What to do? Hope someone can help me.

I just skipped the part of the setup with my old e-mail, and did the setups manually when my new phone was done setting up. Now I can use my Apple ID and iTunes and iCould account for the first time in months.

How to use dll in Labview ?

I compile this code to dll file with VC++2010 filename is test_dll.dll .

After that, I put Call Library Function node in editor and double click Call Library Function node. I browse test_dll.dll into Library name or path and set function prototype to int32_t main(int32_t a); but it show error Call Library Function Node 'test_dll.dll:main':function not found in libraly. How to use dll in Labview ? And I have more question is what is differrent from Tools -> Import -> Shared Library(.dll) and use Call Library Function node.

The issue you are having is that LabVIEW is not capable of using C++ DLLs directly. It only handles C DLLs. This does not mean that if you you cannot use the DLL if it's compiled with the C++ compiler as opposed to the C compiler. Rather, it means that you must take extra steps in order to use it from LabVIEW. The primary issue is that of name mangling or adornment. This is discussed here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4877. Basically you need to prepend extern "C" in front of your prototypes in your header files. I couldn't find an Instrument Driver for the 3932 crate controler. There is a driver for the 3988: http://zone.ni.com/idnet97.nsf/9b2b33e1993d877786256436006ec498/045f8392cc4d1b01862568ab005fbb49?OpenDocument
If you look at the driver it isn't too complex. Well ... actaully there are certain differences when using the 3988 GPIB controller that the driver takes care of that relate to correctly passing commands (FAN).
If the 3922 controller is similar then maybe you can use the 3988 driver and modify it to meet your needs. I'm not familar with the 2915 Kinetic system so I'm not sure what would be easier.
If you have a GPIB board, then you could try using the 3988 driver with your 3922 controller and see if you can modify the driver to get things to work.
I
've only used the 3988 and that was quite three years ago but it might be worth a try.

Trouble using AirPlay between iMac and AppleTV

I'm running OS X Lion 10.7.5 and I'm having trouble using AirPlay between iMac and AppleTV (2nd Gen). It used to work fine, but for some reason it just stopped responding. I can see my media on my iMac from AppleTV and I can see AppleTV from my iMac when attempting to use AirPlay. However, when I try to pull or push media from my iMac to AppleTV it just stalls and never loads. AirPlay works fine from my iPhone and iPad with AppleTV - it's limited to my iMac only.
I'm using a Netgear R7000 wireless router and a Netgear AC120 WiFi Extender and as such, I have 4 available wireless networks (2 from the router and 2 from the extender / 2 - 2.4 GHz and 2 - 5 GHz). My internet access is great and my network performance is good across the board. All of my software/firmware is up to date (iMac, AppleTV and router/extenders). I've tried all combinations (mixing/matching) all of my wireless networks between devices (iMac/AppleTV) - nothing makes a difference (again, AirPlay works fine between my mobile devises/AppleTV). Netgear Genie has been making changes to my network settings as new firmware has been installed in both the router and extender. I'm guessing there is something screwy going on with the network settings on the iMac, but I can't figure it out.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm glad you got it all working. Out of interest, how do you (or your son) connect to the internet now? Is it just a dial-up connection? If it is, I am sure you know that, even if you get the Apple TV to share the connection, the speed will seriously limit the use of many of the Apple TV's features.
The Airport Extreme is a great router but you will need a DSL or cable modem as well as it won't connect to the internet without one. There are many great (and cheaper!) combined modem/routers available if your son wants to get a high-speed network up and running at lower cost. Any other computers, phones, games consoles etc that you may have in the house can then all connect easily.

Trouble using facetime on another device with same apple id

I am having trouble using facetime with my wife. I have an iPad 2 and she has an IPhone 4S. When we try to facetime, we are able to connect for a few seconds and then it drops off. We are then unable to reconnect. We both have the same apple Id and e-mail address although I am trying to contact her via her mobile number. Any suggestions would be grateful received.

Trouble using Safari on start-up with pop-up error

Hi,
I'm having trouble using Safari. Every time I open up the application, a small screen popped up saying "Error- Failed to load the FastBrowserSearchPlugin plugin.* -[BrowserWindowController currentWebView]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7aa570". What can I do to get rid of this issue. I am assuming it has something to do with the Fast Browser Search engine located on the top right of the safari app. Help me please! Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
