Wrong GR/IR account derivation for PM01 orders

Wrong GR/IR account derivation for PM01 orders which will settle to related WBS elements
Two gr/ir accounts have been determined with object class investment and overhead. The FI document picking up different accounts and not the same account for pm01/pm02/pm03/pm04 orders and the costs are getting settled to wrong wbs elements.(example a pm order with object class investment is getting settled to wbs element with object class overhead). The right account in not getting picked up.
Can anyone provide a suitable solution?
An early reply will be much appriciated
Thanks in advance

  • Automatic Account Determination for Sale order related PO

    Dear all,
I am creating a purchase order with Account Assignment Category "C" (Sale Order).  The system asks for GL Account which I don't want the user to enter.  I would like to configure the GL account through automatic account determination.  In which Trans Key/General Modifier I have to assign GL Account for the Purchase order with Account assignment "C"
    Please suggest,
    Regards,
    S.Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
Asssign one Account modifier For example ZBR in OBYC for GBB key
with valuation class and your default account
Then go to SPRO >purchasing>A/C assignment select C go to details and put
Your valuation modifier as ZBR in that a/c assignment details
So when you put a/c assignment as C system will auto default your G/L
ACCORDING TO VALUATION CLASS IN OBYC
Hope this will resolve your issue

  • Problem for automatic reservation created for PM01 order in PM

    Hi,
I have a problem. Generally from Maintenance Order type PM01 under Order Category 30, when we give some materials requirement, SAP automatically generate reservation for those materials and take the GL as Consumable Item (Actually it is determined from OBYC transaction with a combination of GBB (A/c Key) and VBR (A/c Modifier).
But in my case, that GL has to be changed depending on what perpose we are using the material. But Manual reservation is not allowed for the order category 30 and no GL can be changed for automatic reservation.
Can you suggest any way-out so that we can give our desired GL No. for the reservation for Maintenance order (say Order type PM01 under category 30 which is SAP internal).
    Thanks in advance,
    Satadal

    Hi Friend!
Try exploring the sam while post the mat. document thro' MIGO using FI validations..OB28..
    Let leave the PM reservation.

  • EBS upload wrong G/L account determination for incoming payments

    Hello,
I´ve got problem with G/L account assignment in EBS upload.
Client has 3 company codes 6250, 6251 and 6300. For each CC several bank accounts.
Company codeHouse banks and Bank acccount ID is 1:1, one house bank - one bank account ID.
House banks have the same names in company codes, also the Bbank Account IDs are the same in CC.
CC 6300 has G/L accounts for bank settlements:
    Main:       13102211
    Incoming: 13106271
    Outgoing: 13106272
Account symbol mask is +++++6+1 for icoming payments (transaction type: incoming)
                                                                                    main      /      incoming
While uploading EBS for cc 6300 system post incoming payments as        40: 13102211 / 50: 13106211
13106211 is wrong G/L account (it should be 13106271 ) and in CC 6300 is not defined, it is account from company code 6250.
Could someone please tell me how the system determine the G/L account for icoming payments? Where to make the config?
    Please advise.
    Thank you.
    Lubos

You account digits logic is little unclear. Thats why it is always important have the proper logic while formulating the accounts.
    For example
    If the main account is
    120300 (ending with 0)
120301 (Cheque Payable Sub account 1)
120302 (Cheque Receivable Sub Account 2)
    Now you can mask
    +++++1 for Cheque Payments
    +++++2 for Cheque Receipts
    But, you said, you
main account 13102211 and incoming subaccount was 13106271
    If I understand correctly
    the masking should be ++++6271
    Otherwise
    +++67+

  • Change in account assignment for Limit Order SRM not replicated to backend

User has made in SRM (5.0 Ext Classic scenario) a limit shopping cart with Invoice and Confirmation and Acc. assigment 'Known' . This resulted in a PO with has been replicated to backend . In MM PO with Imtem category 'D' has been created.
The user know reports that he has made wrong account assignment and asks for change so that the new cost assigment appears in his Confirmations as proposal.
Normally I am able to do this through Tx 'process purchase order' (BBP_POC) in SRM and it is properly replicated to backend - meaning PO in MM is updated with new cost assigment
However for this limit order the changes I have made in BBP_POC seems not to be replicated into backend and hence on goods receipt it still shows the old assigment.
Anyone an idea of cause for this?
Thanks in advance for any reply or help

    Hello,
    1) Are you seeing any errors in rz20.
    2) You may consider transferring the PO again to the backed using the function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC.
    3) If you see any account assignment errors , check the account assignment in SRM and ERP PO are the same or as mapped in the table BBP_C_ACC

  • Accounting Entries for Move Orders

    Hello Guys,
Oracle EBS R 12.1.3 on linux,
I am creating a report on Inventroy Move Order in which I need to show the debit and credit account against each line, I have developed the report on the Tables of
           MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS
         , MTL_TXN_REQUEST_HEADERS
         , MTL_TXN_REQUEST_LINES
         , MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_VL
         ,GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS_KFV
         ,ORG_ORGANIZATION_DEFINITIONS
         PA_TASKS
these tables display all the required fields related to move order but I can not find the accounting details from these tables means these tables do not show which account was debited and which was credited as the result of move order transaction,
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi,
Usually the account code that you enter in the move order line gets debited and the inventory valuation account gets credited for a Move Order Issue transaction.
You may refer to cst_inv_distribution_v view to get the details of accounting for a inventory transaction.
TRANSACTION_ID column can be used to find the debit and credit values for a particular material transaction while BASE_TRANSACTION_VALUE column holds the actual value.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    PS.

  • Account Determination for Sales Order Stock

    hi all,
Iam facing problem while doing MIGO against production order in a make to order scenario. The whole scenario is -
sales order is made with reference to which a production order is created.
The material carries standard cost for valuation.
The material also has a BOM. Consumption entries are passed at the time of confirmation during various stages of production.
When the FG is inwarded through MIGO transaction the system is not passing accounting entry debiting FG inventory.
    Please help!!
    regards

Set up a movement type that points to a Transaction/event key for account determination  that is then assigned to the GL account you want it to go to. Go to FBKP and select material management to make automatic account assignments.
pls assign points if helpful as a way to say thanks.

  • Consumptin Account Required for Production Order

While i am creating production order in CO01, it is showing the following error.
    Consumption account cannot be determined
    Transaction                            :    GBB
    Valuation / acct modification  :     /AUF
Material / valuation class        :     (Finished Product) /7920
Why should we assign consumption account for valuation class 7920. Where i am doing mistake.

I had faced similar error y'day.. message that say's 'consumption account'  is really misleading.. but, i think system is checking this account assignment upfront while creating the order. basically GBB/AUF assignment is required for 101 of FG/SFG material after production..
so, just assign a p&l account to VC 7920 and create the order it would be good..

  • URGENT: Wrong Info on Return Labels for Exchange Orders.

    Hi! SAP Gurus
Exchange orders are being shipped with labels attached on the box that says DO not return defective part and because of this the customer will either dispose of the part, and therefore the business will not receive the defective back and we cannot bill since we told them not to return the part.
    Thanx in advance
    Sushmitha

    Dear Sushmitha
This can be done in multiple ways, depending mainly on statutory obligations.
One is Invoice in full and do reject cycle (credit memo...), if customer agrees
2nd is use movement type 451 - returns from customer and invoice for net sales quantity only and then close the sales order.

  • Qm order- account adssignment for the qm order

Please advise how to assign  an account assignment for the order (for example, cost center, sales order or controlling area).

    Dear Yadav
Please find some of the points on QM order
    1) Use QK01 for creating and assigning it to the materials. you need not go to material master and assign the qm order. QK01 you can give the plant, material , inspection type, order type , costcenter , profit center etc
    2) Do not tick individual QM order if you are assigning the order material. Individual order means for each inspection lot an order will be created.  This is not required in normal cases. you can create one single order and assign it to the material
    3) Make sure that you have work center created with activity type defined in it. This workcenter should be assigned in the inspection plan also
    4) Activity cost can be defined using KP26 where you can mention what is the per hour cost
    5) The settlement will be done by the CO team using K088
    Hope this helps

  • Account Determination in Subcontracting order

Below lists accounting entries for subcontracting order for Goods Receipt in our system.
    Debit     Subcontract cost
    Credit     GR/IR
    Debit     Finished Goods stock
    Credit     COGS_Subcontract
    Debit     COGS_Raw material consumption
    Credit     Raw Material Stock
I want to split 'Subcontract cost' by intercom vendor & external vendor, such as Subcontract cost_Intercom or Subcontract cost_External.
But at OBYC -> 'FRL', there is only Valuation mod & Valuation class but no column of General modification.
Do anyone have suggestion? Or any user exit support this issue?

  • GR for Purchase Order for Trading Goods

    Hi,
I have a query on configuration for accounting entry for purchase orders for Trading goods.
When i do the GR for Purchase order for a trading good, the accounting entries are,
    Inventory Dr
         GR/IR Cr
    and
    Purchase Expenses Dr
         Purchase Setoff Cr
I understand that i can configure for the first set of posting in  BSX and WRX. How do i configure for the Purchase Expenses and Purchase Setoff.
Please advise and correct my understanding.
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi,
The possiblity for this scenario is
First create the Production order in CO01
Create of Account assinged PO in ME21N with Account assigned category as "F" with Production order
Do the MIGO with respect to PO, then system will directly post the Stock to that Production order.
So in the system GR is done for PO & Goods issue is done for Production order. In this way you can acheive this.

Apple has sent an email saying that it is successfully cancelled. But money is not yet credited into my account. please let me know what is happening. I cancelled the order on April 9th. • SAP how to determine the account in Goods receipt for purchase order?

We know when we make a Goods receipt for purchase order,we will use the account in GBB and BSX define in OBYC. But where can we find the rule? I mean why system can find the account in GBB and BSX , not the other TEcode?

    HI
This is again based on the movement type which SAP has created a link internally.
So if you see when a document is posted it basically derives the GL accounts based on the Movement type,Valuation class, valaution area and so on.
    Good luck
    Hari
