X3-02 SW V7.16: I hear myself when i speak !!!!!!

Hello
Every phone call, since the last update with the new SW V7.16 of my X3-02 RM-632, I can hear myself when i speak
My phone was on v6.05.
I am not using handsfree or speaker mode. Just plain phone call, the phone on my ear.
Are there any Nokia staff/personnell that can advise us on this problem and when this next firmware release will fix this phone audio failure?
Best Regards

Before updating my phone, I had version v6.05. I had no problem. But, this issue happened when I updated my phone with the latest version of SW v7.16. ==> No problem with the operator or sim-card
Also, all items in the [Menu / Settings / Phone / Phone Update] are disabled. Except (Menu / Settings / Phone / Phone Update/Detail current software).

  • Mic live all the time (hear myself in headset speake

I'm sure this seems like a newb question but here goes. I installed my Audigy 2 value in my new computer from my old one ( where it worked flawlessly). Now my mic is li've all the time and I hear myself in the headset speakers. When using Ventrilo or other voice com program ( with PTT being used) this leads to feedback. I'm pretty sure it's a Windows setting where I need to uncheck something but of course I can't find the bloody thing. Anyone bored enough to let me know where I can fix this really annoying problem?

Just open your Audio settings icon (in Control Panel) and go to the Audio tab.
In the first section, under Sound Playback, there will be a "Volume..." button. Click it and it should open a mixer.
There will be a slider for microphone (or possibly line-in depending on where you plug it in at), and all you should have to do is put a check mark in the "Mute" option. This will keep your voice from playing back through your speakers when using your headset.

  • Only hear callers when in speaker mode!

    Hi there
First time post and really hoping someone can help before I need to claim on insurance.
My Blackberry Torch has worked great until all of a sudden  this week I have been unable to hear people when they call me.
They can hear me - but I simply hear no audio at all from the handset. The only way I can hear what callers are saying is if I put them on speaker phone or use headphones.
I have tried hard reset, volume level checks, updating software to no avail.
I have alos tried inserting headphones in and out - but it plays fine in headphones, plays fine in speaker but just not calls.
    Please help

Do you have any applications that currently audio components of the OS?
I have Zello installed on a later version of OS 7.1, and after working with the developer on problems indicated. There seems to be an issue with the audio modules locking up and not allowing anything to work.

  • How can i hear myself when I record vocals?

  • No audio when recording and no one can hear me when using speaker?

Whenever I take videos now, there's no audio it's just this buzzing noise. Kind of like white noise. I used to take videos on my phone all the time and it would work. I'm not sure how to fix this. Also, I can't use my speaker phone. I can hear people talk on it but they never hear me. That issue started one month after I got the phone. I've had it about 8 months now. Anyone know of any fixes?

Does the Voice Memos app work? It has a VU meter so you can see if the mic is working.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

  • My iphone keeps cutting out when i ring people and people cant hear me when i speak what could it be?

    Hey Ciara,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I understand that you are having issues with others being able to hear you while on calls, the issue seems to be resolved by using speakerphone. This makes sense, as speakerphone utilizes a different microphone. I would advise you to take a look at the following articles:

iPhone: Sound muffled or low from the speaker or when speaking into the mic

  • Can't hear myself record???

I assume there is a simple solution to this problem.
Levels are fine in the Inspector. . .and the track is armed. . .but I can't hear myself when I am recording. . .only on playback.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

If you're running through Logic's audio engine with a 256 buffer setting you are experiencing latency although it may not be noticeable to you yet. Most experienced vocalists have problems with a 128 buffer and don't feel comfortable until using a 64 buffer setting. This is because they hear their voice in their head (absolute 0 latency) so any delay through the phones is easily perceived.
The easiest way to hear latency would be to set your buffer to 512, if you're using a guitar to test you should be able to hear/feel the difference between the time a note is plucked and the time the sound appears, use higher notes 7th - 9th frets on the high b and e strings, make sure the guitar is resting against your chest so you can feel it's vibration.
I learned this stuff over a long period of time, I had a MIDI studio synced to 4, later 8 track reel-to-reel tape machines in the mid 1980's, using Yamaha hardware MIDI sequencers and later computers, think I moved to computer sequencing in 1988. At one point I had PC, Mac, Atari and Amiga computers setup to be compatible with an international distribution company I was doing tracks for. Final product had to be available on all four platforms. Later worked for PBS doing tracks for the science related productions. (thank you Roland analog synths)  I've also worked as a performing and studio musician for 40+ years.  So yes, I'm a MIDI geezer!

  • Can't Hear Myself Recording (In Adobe Auditi

I have the USB Sound Blaster External Soundcard.
When I open Creative Smart Recorder, it records me perfectly, and I hear myself, and successful playback and everything.
But when I try to record in Adobe Audition, I hear no sound results from my microphone when I try to record myself.
What's the problem? I tried to mess around with the settings (if those are the right ones), and Adobe Audition is perfectly fine, and my Sound Blaster software was just installed a few minutes ago.
    I'd appreciate some help.

    someone please help!!!!

  • Can't hear myself talk - No mic playback - HS 1000 headset

I have a Creative Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset and I can not hear myself talk into the microphone. I have emailed tech support for the third time and they keep referring me to their help articles on the website but it doesn't help.
I have no option in the windows volume control to turn up or un-mute the mictophone in playback control.
    Here's a screenshot...

I have the same exact problem. I also have XP.
I found the mic volume slider, it's the "Volume" button in the voice recording section. I have it turned all the way up, but still get nothing.
I installed all the latest drivers, Control Consoles, etc etc.
I was pretty much ready to give up.
Update: The microphone can be removed. It pulls straight out. That means, it may not have proper contact.
That was the case for me. I put it back in, and must've gotten it just right, because now it works. I guess the contacts are a bit touchy.
Anyway, If you're out there and getting nothing from the mic test, this may be your problem.

  • Can't hear myself record with Apogee Duet in Logic

i have input monitoring on but don't hear anything through my mic. I'm getting signal but i can't hear myself through the headphones. am i missing something?

Have you checked in the maestro software (mixer) that you have turned up the fader on the channel you wish to monitor on, and that the monitoring fader in Maestro is not set to 'none' (sorry, don't have maestro here to check), Also check you do not have the headphone output set to mute in Maestro.

  • Mic doesn't seem to work in applications, but I can hear myself in the Mix

    Hello,
I have recently done a PC & OS upgrade.
My previous setup was on WinXp Pro (x86) with an Asus A8R-MVP (S939 with ATI/ULI chipsets) and AMD 3200+ processor. I bought my X-Fi at the same time as these components, and everything was working just fine.
Now I have upgraded to WinXp Pro x64 and an Asus P5W64 WS Pro (S775 with Intel 975X chipsets) and an Intel e6600 processor. I loaded everything up including a few games and everything seemed just fine.
... Until I decided to download TeamSpeak so that I could talk with my guildmates... I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me. The short story is that if I load the Mixer from the systray Volume panel and enable microphone playback, I can hear myself perfectly fine; which should tell me that the Mic & X-fi work.
... But if I load Teamspeak, Windows Sound Recorder, Creative's WaveStudio, etc... (anything that records), it's as if I'm muted as there is nothing there... silence.
I have tried the MSCONFIG "selecti've startup" method to uninstall and reinstall my driver CD and latest driver patch... I have downloaded and installed the latest April 2007 DirectX, I have double checked that the Mic is the selected recording source (+20db and cranked)... all with no success.
It's obvious that alot has changed around the X-FI (OS, mobo & CPU) but the problem seems to be a "software"/driver one... I'd almost have preferred that the Mixer wouldn't have let me hear my voice at all... then I could have nominated the Mic as the problem... but the mixer proves it to be good.
Why is the Mixer the only application that knows that there is sound on the mic channel to deal with?

unbelievable... the amount of RAM is the issue... I found a post (http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/board/message?board.id=soundblaster&message.id=8448) on an unrelated matter, but the user solved their issue under X64 by limiting the amount of RAM WinXP x64 was using by editing the boot.ini file.
The basis of the "trick" is to add " /maxmem=4096" to the end of your OS line, but I elected to copy the line and add it to a new entry so I could easily select which "mode" i wanted at boot.... like so...
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition()\WINDOWS="Window s XP Professional x64 Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition()\WINDOWS="Window s XP Professional x64 Edition - X-Fi tweak" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /maxmem=4096
amazingly this solved my issue... but now my system properties only report 2Gb instead of 4Gb... unacceptable!
When Can I expect a fix for this Creative?

  • I CANT HEAR MYSELF WHILE RECORDING!

Hmm... haven't had to scroll the screen for such a short question before! I'm afraid you get the answer in normal size text though.

Direct monitoring is a function of your Presonus, not Audition. So, you need to read the manual and find out how to set it up on its control panel. You can monitor through the software in Audition 3.0 but this introduces latency, because you have to process everything in and out via the OS, and generally the delays are unacceptable. So for normal purposes, this is done via the direct link in your sound device, which introduces no latency at all.

  • I hear myself twice while i record myself....help!

I hear myself twice whilst the actual recording records one time. I have tried if it has anything to do with my usb mic but I checked using the input and output from my laptop and there i have the same problem. So it must be something in the settings of the laptop or Logic? Any ideas....?

It´s latency. Go to Audio preferences and reduce buffer setting to 64 or 32. There will still be some delay, but not that much. To avoid latency: record through an audio interface, mute the input channel and monitor through the interface.
