Eprint blank pages on PhotoSmart 5510

Hi, when I send emails to my PhotoSmart 5510 the page is blank except for the "from" line. Please help. Thanks.

I see that your having problems printing emails. I have a couple of questions for you.
Do you have problems printing word documents?
Are you using ePrint or Airprint when printing emails?

Eprinting - blank page being generated

Everytime I send an attachment (.pdf), the printer via email, it will "print" or better yet cycle a blank page prior to printing the actual document desired. Nothing in the subject line or body of the email, just a blank email with a .pdf attachment - as I only want the pdf to print, nothing else.
When I arrive to the location where the printer is, I can open and wirelessly print the same document (direct, via the wireless router - not emailing).
Does anyone experience same or have a fix?
The printer in question is a photosmart premium c310

When sending an email with attachment to ePrint Center, the email prints along with the attachment. If the email is blank, the page would be blank. Please try adding a short message in the email and see it that is printed on the previously blank page.

Turn off eprint function of a photosmart 5510

I have recently purchased an HP photomsart 5510 printer. I purchased it for the networking capability. More recently, I turned on a daily crossword program from Universal Uclick that prints out crossword puzzles to this printer. How do you shut it off? I'm sick of these puzzles! I thought my mom would like therm but she didn't and now I can't figure out how to delete them. I have found the Universal website that enables you to adjust time and dates, but it doesn't work.

Problem creating an ePrint account (for Photosmart 5510)

Looking for guidance on email addresses and ePrint accounts
I tried to create an ePrint account for my new Photosmart 5510, using the link supplied by the setup software. This took me to an account creation form, where I duly entered my real name, screen name, personal email address, password and notification options, then clicked on the big blue button ... up popped a red square with a white cross by the email address, and a notification box saying "Email already exists" and an invitation to sign in to that account.
Oh well, I did have an HP printer 12 years ago, so perhaps the registration was retained. I tried logging in to that account with the email address that ePrint reckoned already existed, and clicked 'Forgot Password'. This brought up the 'Forgot your password' dialogue box, asking for the email address associated with the account. I entered the email address again, and this brought up an alert box, telling me to 'Enter the email address associated with your account', apparently not liking what I'd just entered. So I'm stuck.
After looking on the forum for login problems, I tried using Safari (rather than Firefox) and also submitting my email at snapfish and asking for a password reminder. Also unsuccessful - same results in Safari as Firefox, and snapfish gave a java resource error.
I got round the problem by using someone else's email address in the ePrint account creation - this then let me enter the email address of the printer, which it had correctly auto-populated with the alphanumeric code provided by the printer.
Now I can log in to my ePrint account, and ePrint works, but I would like to switch the account email address to be my own address. Although I can access the ePrint account settings page, I'm wary of changing the account email address in case it rejects the change and possibly leaves me unable to revert to the initial email account.
Any suggestions?

This is a 404 error which means that the server recieved could not find the requested file, which I dought to be accurate, because not everybody will be having this issue, I will change the DNS of your network to the Google public DNS server becuase DNS resolution issue can be confuse with this errors by the system. and this can the case this time.
Try using Google DNS servers have proven to be accurate.
To do so in Windows;
Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
Right-click the connection that you want to change, and then click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click either Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click Properties.
To specify an IP address, click Use the following IP address, and then, in the IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway boxes, type the IP address settings.
Google DNS servers are
8.8.8.8 Primary
8.8.4.4 Secondary.
Try that and le tme know the outcome I will keep looking on my end. I have been trying to find out if there an issue I have not be able to find anything useful but I will keep digging

Can't eprint from iPhone or iPad to Photosmart 5510

Just purchased HP PHOTOSMART 5510. Connected via TP-Link TL WR841N router . I currently have no PCs - just 2 iPads and 2 iPhones . 'Wireless ' and ' eprint ' lights illuminated on printer. The only time the printer will pick up any of the Apple devices is if I disconnect the wireless network via the printer controls - and then reconnect. It will then pick up the printer briefly and print to it-but then is unable to find it again and you have to go through the same procedure again. I've been through all the checks on HP site. Any ideas - could it be a router problem and if so - now do I fix it.

To maintain a more stable connection from your printer to the network you should try these steps:
1. Find out the IP address of the printer by pressing the wireless icon from the front panel of the printer.
2. Open a browser on your iPad that is connected to the same network as the printer. Type the IP address of the printer into the browser's address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.1.5)
3. Once you are in the webpage with the printers settings, click on the 'Network' tab.
4. On the left side of the page click on the Network Address (IP) underneath the Networking heading.
5. Click on the radio button next to Manual IP and then click the 'Suggest a Manual IP Address' button to have the system assign you a Manual IP address.
6. In the Manual DNS Server boxes type the following:
Manual Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Manual Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4
7. Press the Apply button to save these changes
Once you have saved the Manual IP settings you should power cycle the printer by unplugging the power cord from the printer, leaving it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord to the printer. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.
Once the printer has powered back on try enabling Web Services again and see if it will allow you to connect.
If you are still having issues the try this:
First, unplug the printers power cord while it is still on. Leave it unplugged and walk to the router. While the router is still on, unplug the power cord from the router, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the router. Once plugged back in the router should power on automatically. Now go back to the printer and plug its power cord back in. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.

In order to print something off a webpage in Safari on your iPad there are a couple of things that need to checked. First, you need to make sure your Version is at least 4.3.2 or above. This can be found in the Settings > General > About > Version.
Next, make sure your iPad and printer are both connected to the same wireless network and have valid internet access. Once this is done all you should need to do is open a webpage in Safari, press the Action button (looks like a right pointing arrow coming out of a box) and select the Print option. The iPad should detect any ePrint capable printers on the network (unless your router settings prohibit this) and allow you choose a printer and print.

HP Photosmart premium c309g-m printer prints blank pages even with new cartridge

I have an HP Photosmart premium c309g-m printer and I tried to copy a black and a color document. The printer goes through the motions but the page is blank. I have tried put a new black cartridge in and still prints a blank page.

Sorry to ask an obvious question - but are you putting the paper in the right way? I have a 7520, and as long as there is ink in it, and the paper is facing the correct way, and I hear the print job go to the printer, it prints fine.

My Photosmart C4780 all in one printer which is connected by USB to my MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 prints only blank pages, and no text; I have turned it on and off; disconnected and reconnected; uninstalled the HP software and reloaded and updated drivers, firmware and patches. I understand you are not able to print in black and the copy function isn't working.
I will be happy to assist you with this.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or
software issue. Click Here.

hp photosmart 5510 , windows 7 64 bit and it wont go pass the network check page where it says checking network environmant... and its green all the way and i cant even click on the cancel button! what do i do? why wont it connect to my laptop? i have a toshiba satellite L745-s4210 help?!?!

OK, if your printer is connected to the router (2wire routers are not the greatest), then the problem is likely in your PC or it security system.

Hp photosmart 6510 printing and photocopying blank pages even after putting in new ink cardridges

Hi there, can anyone help?
My photosmart 6510 has recently started printing and photocopying blank pages. The ink cardridges were low and I have replaced them with new ones. I have cleaned the printer head and the test comes out in colour.
I have no idea what to do other than buy a new one !
Any advice appreciated.

I'd like to help. Please begin with the steps in the following document; Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink for the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage an... < this applies to the 6510, and 6515 too.
If you complete, or have already completed all of the steps in the document above and the issue continues, my own personal recommendation, not one of HPs, is to use the solution offered in the following video. I only suggest doing this if the printer is out of warranty; How to fix a HP Printer, not printing black ink and missing colours

Photosmart D7260 Blank Pages

I recently purchased a new PC with Windows Vista and the HP Photosmart 7260 now prints a blank page between each page in the document. Has anyone encountered this before?

HP Photosmart 7400 series = Blank Page?

Hey I have been having this issue for about a year now and whats happening is when i print something out i get what i want printed out but i also get a blank page for every page i print out. This isnt to bad but its just so tedious and annoying to have to fish out blank pages of what i printed out. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone help me fix this problem?

Photosmart 7660 printing blank page when using Microsoft word 2007

I have a Hp photsmart 7660.It will print a Test page ok-it will print some of the text in an email.That is the heading and the end, but not the message in the middle of the email. When I write a document in Microsoft Word or Works the printer will go through the motions of printing but all I get is a blank page.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled using original disk and also tried the same using Hp software download all to no avail.
The utility diagnostic says there is no problem everything is working well,but of course it is not. Can anyone help me to resolve this problem please.

It works for me in Word 2010 (or later) using Save As PDF. It did not work in Word 2007 using the Adobe Acrobat PDF printer nor using Word 2007's save as pdf utility. (The hyperlink showed up but was not active.) It did work using the Acrobat tab in Word
2007 (this requires Adobe Acrobat).
I did this by:
first creating the text box with the hyperlink in the body of the document and moving it into the footer area (but still not in the footer itself).
Then I used the Format tab of Text Box Tools and the Postion button (More Layout Options).
I gave it an absolute vertical position relative to the page.
Then I cut the text box, went into the footer, and pasted it there.
It might have worked to just create the text box in the footer itself.
I personally prefer it that the header and footer are not part of the active page when I am typing. This hyperlink is not clickable in Word without going into the header/footer view and I'm fine with that. The QAT workaround is just fine.
