Hi
For Usage decision... do in TCODE : QA11
Check out this scenario [Caliberation order|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/fe/67ec5c9d6f11d189b60000e829fbbd/frameset.htm]
It will be very helpful
I dont think u can create order from task list
You can do my creating a Maintenance plan, assign a task, schedule it... order will be created at respective intervals...

  • Background Scheduling of Calibration Order

    Dear Experts,
I want to scheule my calibration order in QM for calibration of Test Equipment in background.
I have created my maintenance order for calibration of Gauges / Instruments (which are defined as Equipments). The dates for the calibration have been calculated based on time. When I go to the transaction of scheduling the order & save, the inspection lot for calibration is generated & the equipment task list is assigned to the lot.
I want this to automatically happen in background. This is because I have thousands of equipments, for which I can not schedule the calibration manually.

    Prashant

    hi
you can use the IP30 deadline monioting for this purpose, ask your abaper to run the T code in frequent ( Weekly,Fortnight and etc)

  • Problem in Calibration order

    hi,
I have created calibration order (pm05) for test equipement and assigned tasklist with qm data ( inspection point 300) and maintained inspection char's in tasklist operation.
now i am releasing this order ..it is generating a inspection lot..
now i executed t.code qe17... entered test equipment.. and as soon as i click on button assign inspection point. it throwing an error that is " no inspection point is available for operation"
please suggest how to cop such problem...

    Hi,
In the inspection plan for the equipment, assign the inspection point (For example - 300). First you have to activate the inspection point for the plant & task list assignment. Then assign the inspection point to the task list assigned to the inspection plan. Then only you will be able to complete the inspection.

  • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling of calibration order

    Hi
I have to schedule calibration inspection of a few equipments in such a way that system automatically create inspection lot & calibration order daily.
Whether user enter calibration result or not, inspection lots in future should be created automaticallly.
I created a single cycle plan using IP41 and start the schedule using IP10, the system created first inspection lot automaticaly but always require me go to to scheduling and save the plan again if I want to create next inspection lots. How can I configure/set the system in such a way that it creates inspection lots/calibration order automaticaly
Plz also tell after taking usage decision of inspection lot whether I need to do some act on calibration order such as technical completion or business completion.
    Thanks in advance

    Dear Chris,
In maintenance plan go to Maintenance plan scheduling parameter & put Schedule Period '360' Days in sub screen under Call control parameter.
Then Go to IP10and make automatically scheduling it will make plan for whole yera.

  • Additional fields to be displayed in calibration order

    Hi Experts,
Following fields are required to be displayed for Calibration Order ---
    1) Completion Date (mandatory) - Somewhere in header
    2) Person Responsible (Mandatory) -Somewhere in header
    3) Department (Mandatory) - Somewhere in header
    4) Frequency - Somewhere in header
    5) Due Date - Somewhere in header
Is there any setting in img where i can make these fields also visible and set them as mandatory.
    Looking for a quick response.
    Thanks in advance
    regards,
    Abhi

    Thanks Bala,
But i don't want to do any unnecessary customization.
So the 2nd option seems to be better...
Completion date i can see under the Planning Tab but its not mandatory. My ques is 1) is it the same field am looking for? 2)  If yes then how to make it mandatory?
For Person Responsible i can see a field at the Order - header but again it is not mandatory. How to make it mandatory? or else as suggested by you if i go for PDP how to use it? and do i need to have Hr integrated to see the values under Person Responsible?
Same applies for Department -- how to use the parner function. and there is no separate field to display it. so whre will it be displayed. Do i need to customize it?
Frequency - No doubt i cn see it in the report, but is there any way  i can display it at the header? I guess the only way is the customization?
    Thanks

  • Problem while creating PO for Calibration order PR

    Hi,
I am facing following problem while create PO for calibration order PR:
"Comparison of the field selection strings from the G/L account 8000010800 and the account assignment category F reveals that there is an incompatible combination of field selections for the field selection group 'Network'.
The G/L account field selection is stored in table T004F; that for the account assignment is stored in table T162K."
    Can anybody help me urgently.
    Regards,
    Mew

    Hi,
Check the field selection for account assignment category & Field status group of G/L 8000010800.
Compare both & set the field selection equally in both.

  • Regarding Calibration Order.

    Hi all,
While creating and releasing the calibration order, inspection lot for that order is assigned. In QA32, the result recording is done. Then while saving the UD,a pop up appears which gives the status of the equipment(whether the equipment is in use or not). Then after saving the usage desicion, the system status of the calibration order gets automatically changed from REL to TECO.Can anyone suggest what are the settings to be done in customizing to do the automatic teco of the calibration order once the Usage Decision is saved.
    regards
    vidya

    Vidya,
Your requirement can be met by Follow-up action function in QM.

  • Manual Technical completion of Calibration Order

    Hi,
When I schedule planned calibration order, record results and as soon as when I take usage decision, order becomes technically completed automatically and takes reference date as planned date that is shown on IP10 against each call.
Is there any possibility to take technically completion manually, specially for calibration order (Order type PM05)?
Or Is it possible to set default reference date exactly on the date when I perform or take usage decision?
    Regards,

This is because automatic Technical Completion of Maintenance Order has been configured in your system. To Change it follow the path as specified below:
    SPRO>Quality Management>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Completion>Define Follow up Actions
In follow up actions select QM_PM and double click on Function Modules. Now Uncheck the Sync Update and the AfterPosting Indicator to manually Complete the Order.
For the reference date to be derived from Usage Decision Date, the following user exit IWO10004 might be helpful in catering your requirement.

  • Calibration Order from maintenance plan

    Hi All,
We have assigned inspection point 300 in task list. And inspection type 14 is assigned to the order type.
When I create the order manually by IW31 then I am getting the inspection lot but when creating the Maintenance Plan with the same order type and task list, the lot is not generated.
Pls suggest  is there any QM or PM setting missing ??
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

    Dear Sanjay,
Make sure you have assigned the inspection characteristic and sampling procedure for your individual task list operations.
Please do confirm the same and do reply.

  • Queries related to calibration inspection process

I have some queries related to calibration business process. They are as follows:-
1.Which equipment category do we choose, Q or P?
2.While creating a maintenance plan, which category do we choose, maintenance order or quality maintenance order?
3.Is it that we can't do a time confirmation before results recording? If I try to do so,I get this message"No open operation recieving confirmation entries for order".
4.While I create my maintenance plan,I get this message, a counter could not be defined for the reference object. Why so?
5.After usage decision,if I lock my equipment for further use,the equipment has the status both AVLB and NPRT.Why?
6.Can I create my calibration order manually and assign equipment task list.If so,how?
7.While creating my test equipment, for the PRT tab,the task list usage becomes a mandatory field. What setting is done for this task list usage to become a mandatory field?

    Hi
1.Which equipment category do we choose, Q or P?
    Ans:
Q is normaly used for Instruments,Lab equipments
P also used for Production/process related equipments needs calibrations often
2.While creating a maintenance plan, which category do we choose, maintenance order or quality maintenance order?
    Ans:
Its all depends on config you have did. if Quality maintenance order should be linked to inspection type.can be used.
we can not used maintenance order if it is not linked to inspection type 14.
3.Is it that we can't do a time confirmation before results recording? If I try to do so,I get this message"No open operation recieving confirmation entries for order".
    Ans:
You can do time confirmation after result recording, then UD.after UD ,order will be TECOed automaticlay.
4.While I create my maintenance plan,I get this message, a counter could not be defined for the reference object. Why so?
    Ans:
Check any measuring counters created for the equipments,
5.After usage decision,if I lock my equipment for further use,the equipment has the status both AVLB and NPRT.Why?
    Ans:
After UD, system changes the status NPRT for the equipments have PRT view only.
if PRT view maintained in the equipment, system status remains AVLB.
If you dont to use the equipment after UD-Reject,have to go development using user status.
6.Can I create my calibration order manually and assign equipment task list.If so,how?
    Ans:
    Yes. you can
Create task list with 300 inspection point, assign when u create order
also you can have manual call in the maintenance plans.

  • Rescheduling of order based on operation confirmation dates

    Hi All,
Our production process to complete a product has got long lead times.
In production order, for example, there are four operations OP10, OP20, OP30 and OP40.
During production order creation, system will perform lead time scheduling based on standard value time mentioned in the routing for every operation. Due to long lead times and production delay, there will be delay in actual execution of these operations with scheduled dates. After confirming OP10 with actual execution dates in CO11n, if we go to production order and click on scheduling button, then system reschedules remaining operations dates in the production order based on actual execution times entered for OP10.
Our requirement is by using Enhancements/BADI/IDOCs is it possible to automatically reschedule the order after confirmation of OP10 in order to reflect nearest actual production execution dates.
    Please suggest your valuable findings.
    Thanks & regards,
    Satya.

    Hi,
    1.  For calibration orders .. once usage decision is selected as OK , we can trigger follow up actions via which u can do TECO of Calibration orders , for this u have to do settings in QS41 for Catalogue 3- Usage decision , QS51 - For a catalogue 3, Plant , Selected set as * , here for a selected set  , u can define for a  combination of code group and code u can give valuation code & follow up action .. , this follow up action is defined via SPRO -->QM -->Quality Inspection -->Inspection Lot completion -->Define Follow up actions -->Here u can define Follow up actions and use FM QFOA_ORDER_TECHNICAL_COMPLETE :- Follow-Up Action: Technically Complete PM Order ,Select After posting & sync update tick mark.
    2. For other orders , In IW42 - U have the option for TECO but need to do manually , but for automatic case i believe u have to use User exit :- CONFPM05 PM/SM order conf.: Cust. specific enhancements when saving , you have to use a suitable FM , which
