GR Cancellation after stock posting

Hi Gurus,
QM persons have done result recording and posted the stock to unrestricted stock.Now the production person want to cancel the GR. But system is not allowing cancellation of GR.Is there any way to cancel GR after stock posting.

Dear,
T. Code MB1B & movement type 344, you can transfer the Material from Unrestricted use to Block Stock.
Or MBST and reverse the GR you have done , then use movement type 102 in the MIGO or MB31.
Please check SAP note note 33924 Reversing the UD and 175842-QM lot stock reversal.

    Hello,
    You can try to use movement type 309
    The quantity is posted from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing material(MAT1) into unrestricted-use stock in the receiving material(MAT2).
    Prerequisite: both materials have the same stock keeping unit.
    Accounting document generated while using 309 Mvt.
    1.Debit - Inventory account of Material 1
    2.Credit - Inventory account of material 2
    Material to Material transfer is used when material changes its properties after certain period ( Mostly in case of chemical and pharmaceutical industry).
    Prerequisite for this is that material must be in unrestricted stock.and both materials should have same base unit of measure
    Eg: In chemical industry material to material is transferred in case of acid with more percentage is mixed into lesser percentage

    I have a scenario
    where inspection type 4 , Final GR for process order
    Inspection lot created , stock posting done from QI stock to Unrestricted
    now the user wants to reconcile the process order , Meaning he wants to reverse the GR Qty
    may be partial or fully
    Is it possible , to reverse the GR after stock posting via Quality
    and can i reverse my UD , meaning i reverse back UD
    Did any one face this scenario

  • QM/WM- LT05 Screen after QM stock posting

    Hi
    Is there anyway to trigger the LT05 screen appearing after a stock posting in the inspection lot ? We have it working when doing a partial UD using the follow-on action, but when we want to just pre-release part of the inspection lot we can't get the 321 movement from within QM to trigger this screen appearing.
    Any ideas ? Or do we need to do this via a user exit?

    Well, i thought about your suggestion too. It seems a good alternative. Another option is during GR in quality inspection stock to create a TO towards a workcenter. But, like the sample bin solution you suggest, i still have no physical transfer of the sample quantity to the other storage location.
    The reason my client wants this is to have better insight in what stock is physically in which storage location. The storage location where the materials are tested is physically 100 km from the central warehouse. So the sample has to be shipped from the central warehouse (WM managed) towards the warehouse where they test the samples.
    As you describe we can put the sample in the storage bin in Q stock and wait for them to be approved and the post them to unrestriced use stock by the user decision. But still the physical transfer is not solved in my opinion. What am i missing?
    We have other non WM managed storage locations too which we supply from the central (WM) managed warehouse with materials (via MRP run). The (UB) purchase reqs result in a (UB) purchase order, then we convert them into a (NL) delivery with VL10B and create a shipment and a pick (transfer) order and ship them from the WM stor loc to the other non WM stor locs.

    My client is steel manufacturing industry.The requirement of client is that, after doing usage decision and stock posting they want to do result recording.Thy want it like this because in case of urgency they pass the material and afterward they do the result recording.Is such a scenario is possible in standard sap.If yes pls. provide me the solution.

    I wouls suggest you look at Jan's suggestion.  Setting everything as LT characteristics is
    1) not a good quality practice
    2) you would still have to manually to the UD I believe, auto UD won't work.  So if you have to manually process the lot anyway, you may as well just make the sotck posting and leave the lot open for results recording.

    Is it possible to revoke or change the result recorded after UD is given and also stock posted for material.
    In inspection plan i have activated the  long term inspection check box for that particular MIC for which i want to change the results.
    I have done UD reversal, stock reversal etc.
    Then
    I hv tried through QE02 but its showing:
    Short term Inspection Completed.
    All Insp.Completed.
    UD has been Made.
    pls suggest the possible solution on this.

    We have Ztcode developed for Stock posting reversal not for UD reversal.
    Just want to know inspite of checking box for Long term planning in MIC also in Inspection plan.
    Is there any provision for reentering results for already closed MICs.
    User has made wong input entry while recording results.

  • Inspection lot summary after UD and stock posted

    lot summary level '2' had maintained in material record, when GR, lot summary work rightly.
    But after UD and stock post to unrestricted stock and new GR, no inspection lot generated and stock were posted to  unrestricted stock  directly.
    My question is ,why system does not generate new inspection lot?
    I also found it in document that , lot summart does not take place if "A previously created inspection lot has already been completely credited from the stock", is that means system will create new lot in this situation?

    After UD
            If the UD is accept, SAP will not create new inspection lot.
            If UD is reject SAP will create a new inspection lot.
    If UD is not made but 'Qty to be posted' is zero then also SAP will create new inspection lot for subsequent goods receipts.

  • Cancellation of UD and re recording the results before stock posting

    Hello Friends,
    I am working with Handling unit functionality.
    Based on the goods receipt done against the production order system generated the inspection lot. I have done the result recording and then I did the usage decision and saved. I have not yet done the stock posting.
    Now the requirement is I want to change my results in result recording. System is not allowing me to change the results as the message is coming Usage decision is done. How can I cancel or reverse the usage decision so that I can do the result recording. Kindly advise?
    Note: I have done the UD but not yet done the stock posting.

    33924 is the original note.
    Use caution with this, it is not supported by SAP and is not recommended to normally use this. 
    Typically, if you need to correct results, it is recommended that existing results be left and the UD made.  Then create a manual inspection lot for the material and enter in the corrected values.  Make the UD on that lot.  Than manually make any necessary inventory moves.

  • A/P invoice and stock posting

    I have some issues with understanding the following:
    I have received some item without having issued a PO for them. For these items, master data exists .
    As common practice with a lot of suppliers, there is no Invoice attached to the shipping, only a delivery note.
    If I post the items to stock using 'Goods receipt' and use A/P invoice some days after when the invoice arrives, I have doubled the received quantity by posting the items to the stock twice.
    What is the solution to have the items posted to stock immediately for further usage and adding the A/P invoice later but without stock posting?

    Hi Franz,
    When an AP Invoice is based on a Goods Receipt PO there will be no double posting, not for Warehouse quantites or in the accounting.
    An AP Invoice that is based on a Goods Receipt PO where nothing was changed between the Goods Receipt and the Invoice the AP Invoice will NOT post to stock. The stock posting was already done on the Goods Receipt.
    Most documents can be cancelled, either by basing a reverse documents or by cancelling. For every each one of them the quantities and accounts postings follow the logic of continuous stock.
    Goods Receipt PO -> Reversed by a Goods Return
    AP Invoice -> Reversed by an AP Credit Note.
    Please note that there are NO double entries anywhere when a document is based on another.

  • How to perform stock posting for a manually created lot?

    Dear Friends
    I have a material A for which GRN is made before the inspection type 01 is activated in material master. thus no quality lot is created for the material in qa32.But the material has got an inspection plan
    But for 240 units of material, we will have to show in sap that 120 pc is rejected and sent to rejection storage and rest are ok and thus should be sent to ok storage location with 321 mt.
    Thus i have created a manual lot in qa01. this lot can be found in qa32. I did result recording for the same. but i am not finding stock posting tab page in UD. please tell me how do I post stock in case?

    120 pc is rejected and sent to rejection storage and rest are ok and thus should be sent to ok
    Stock posting is not possible for manual generated lot.
    What you can do you can only post/Create Manual Lot only for  OK Qty.
    Rejected Qty 120 you can do Return delivery through Unrestricted after GR is made(after 101 mvt)
    This is only solution.
    or
    Cancel original GR.
    Activate 01 inspection.
    Do GR again

  • Inspection Lot with Zero stock posting qty

    Dear QM Consultants,
    We have come across following scenario,
    1.     Repetitive manufacturing
    2.     Material has inspection type 04 and Z04. Preferred inspection type is not ticked. Z04 inspection type has been assigned to inspection lot 04.
    3.     Production GR done by 131 movement
    4.     Inspection lot generated with reference to 131 movement type. Lot for inspection type 04 is created.
    5.     Inspection lot qty in QA32 it shows correctly as that of GR qty.
    6.     But when we click on UD, in stock posting tab, qty to be posted it shows as ZERO. So no qty is available for stock posting.
    Has anybody came across such scenario? Is this any bug? Any SAP note for this?

    Dear Sujit, Thanks for so prompt reply,
    Basically this is a complex case,
    1.     See we have set Posting Proposal in Usage Decision as u2018To unrestricted useu2019 in selected sets for usage decision. That means we need not every time go to stock posting tab. The moment we select ACC UD code it automatically posts the stock to unrestricted use.
    2.     Now, what has happed, by 131 movement declaration, backflush happened with 261 movement for child parts.
    3.     Inspection lots with inspection type 04 were created. (Here we did not note whether the stock was posted in quality inspection or in unrestricted use)
    4.     Now the requirement is to cancel 131 movement document. Kindly note UD were not given up to this moment.
    5.     Now through MFBF, user did document specific reversal. As a result of which and as per my knowledge 132 movement should happen and 262 should also happen. At the same time inspection lot status should be set to LTCA. But in actual case 132 movement happened and 262 did not. Surprisingly inspection lot did not set to LTCA status. It remained in REL mode only.
    6.     After this document specific reversal, user gave UD to these inspection lots without noticing where the stock was lying.(in unrestricted or in quality inspection). So the lot status set to UD   ICCO SPCO STUP after giving usage decision.
    7.     Now while doing reverse engineering that why 262 movement did not happen, we came to know that no 321 movement happened for the inspection lots which were generated with reference 131 movement document
    8.     Also, qty to be posted it shows ZERO as explained in my earlier post.
    9.     When we display 132 movement document through MIGO, in where tab it shows stock type as Quality inspection. That means stock was lifted from QI for 132 movement.
    In short  it cannot be predicted where the stock was actually posted whether in QI or in unrestricted use. But yes the post to inspection stock tick has been ticked in material master.
    Can you help further in this regard?

    I create a inspection lot of Finished Good and inspection type is 04 used when take a decision in QA11 then the Inspection lot is not open and the message has shown.

    When i use QA12 then message show is this,
    <b>You cannot perform this task because the usage decision has not been made yet.</b>
    But the stock is not posted To unrestricted use.
    I want to stock post or cancel the document but i cant cancel or reverse the document.
    Please suggest me the urgent bases what i do for stock post to unrestricted use.
    Once problem has been mentioned here that the logistic period has been closed and FI/CO period will be close after six days.

    Follow these steps for the qm inspn procurement.
    1.Create Material Master Record with QM View.
    2.Activate QM Proc/ Specify Control Key 0001.
    3. choose Inspn set up and inspn type to be entered as 01 and set the active indicator.
    4. Create Q-info record with material / vendor.(qi01)
    5. Enter the release by date as 31.12.9999
    7.Create inspn plan(qp01) with usage 5 and status 4and enter the control key as PPQM.
    8.Choose the operation and assign the inspn characteristic / sampling procedure
    9.MD61/MD02/MD04
    10 Convert the Purchase requisition as Purchase Order.
    11. Receive the Material against the PO.
    12. In MIGO against PO receive the material.
    13.QM lot will be created
    14.qa02 check inspn plan / sample.
    15.qe51n results recording
        lot origin 01 mat no and execute results
    16.qa11 ud code select accept and chooseinspn tab page and type the qty to be proposed and save.
    17.stock will move to unrestricted use .

  • Fax from computer to photosmart 7525 gets cancelled after spooling

    I can fax directly from printer, but when I use the HP software or print function on the computer to set up fax and send, the progress goes from spooling to cancelled without any error notices. I have a Dell XPS 8500 running 8.1 and Photosmart 7525 connected by USB and wirelessly. They communicate just fine with the scan and print functions. Both are current on updates using the check for updates utility. I have a dedicated Voip phone line from Comcast and ther most current modem that I have slowed through the fax settings. I've spent hours reading forums on HP and Microsoft searching for exactly this issue. Please help

    The truth is, I don't know what is causing the fax from computer function to fail. I understand from your description that the fax is cancelling after spooling, but that you can print and scan just fine as well as fax directly from the printer. I suspect the issue has something to do with the driver, thus I suggest we remove the driver and reload it.
    Please use the following steps to delete the printer/fax from device and printers, and the driver from the server properties.
    1. In the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder
    2. Choose ‘Print server properties’.
    Win XP – With no printer selected, click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
    Windows Vista – With no printer selected, press ‘Alt’ then click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
    Windows 7/8 and 8.1 – Select any printer in the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder and click ‘Print Server properties’ above.
    3. Click on the ‘Drivers’ tab at the top of ‘Print server properties’ window
    4. Choose the printer you want to uninstall and click ‘Remove’
    5. Choose 'Remove driver only'
    6. The next screen will give a warning, letting you know that deleting the driver package will remove it from the system. Click ‘Yes’ to say that you are sure you want to do this.
    If documents are stuck in the print spooler, you may see an error, cancel any documents pending in the print queue, or try restarting the print spooler, then try to remove the driver from ‘Print server properties’ again. If it still won’t remove the package, restarting the computer and the printer should resolve this ‘in use’ error and allow the driver to be removed.
    If the you continue to get an 'in use' message follow the steps in the document here; The Specified Printer Driver is Currently in Use
    After the driver is removed, open Start > All Programs > HP folder > Printer folder > HP Setup and Software (or the printer icon).
    The Setup and software screen will open and you can click on Connect a new printer.

  • Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE in DB13

    When i opened the t-code DB13 i saw that this job "Mark tables requiring statistics update" is cancelled.
    JOB LOG:

    When check for the BGD Job in SM37 for this job i found the same error in the job log with the status cancelled.

    I couldn't find any logs in SM21 of that time also no dumps in ST22.
    Possible reason for this error:
    I have scheduled the job Check database structure (only tables) at some other time and deleted the earlier job which was scheduled during the bussiness hours which caused performance problem.
    So to avoid performance issue i scheduled this job in the mid night by cancelling the old job which was scheduled during the bussiness hours.
    And from the next day i could see this error in DB13.
    Rest all the backups are running fine but the only job getting cancelled is for "Mark tables requiring statistics update"
    Could anyone tell me what should i do to get rid of this error?
    Can i schedule this "Mark tables requiring statistics update" again by deleting the old one?

    Thanks for your response.
    Every alternate day we used to have performance issue at 19:00hrs.
    Then when i checked what is causing this problem, i discovered that there was a backup "Check Database Structure (tables only)" scheduled at this time and it was mentioned that this backup may cause performance issue.
    Then i changed "Check Database Structure (tables only)" the time of this backup to 03:00hrs.
    The next day when i checked DB13 i found that one of the backups failed.
    i.e. "Mark Tables Requiring Statistics Update"
    Then i checked the log which i posted earlier with the error: "Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE"
    I posted this error here and then i tried to delete the jobs scheduled i.e. "Mark Tables Requiring Statistics Update" and then re-schedule it at the same time and interval.
    And then it started working fine.
    So i just got curious to know the cause of the failure of that job.

    P.S There is one more thing which i would like to say which is not related to the above issue, and m sorry to discuss this in this thread.
    I found a few Bottlenecks in ST04 with Medium and High priority.
    Medium: Selects and fetches selectivity 0.53%: 122569 selects and fetches, 413376906 rows read, 2194738 rows qualified.
    High: 108771 primary key range accesses, selectivity 0.19%: 402696322 rows read, 763935 rows qualified.
    There are a lot these.
    I would really appreciate if you tell me what is the cause for these Bottlenecks and how to resolve.
