How to upgrade e50 firmware via apple mac?

I own an E50 (RM-170) which is currently running v 06.41.3.0.
How do I tell what the most up-to-date firmware is?
And how do I upgrade the firmware into the phone using an Apple Mac? (I saw the updater software for Windows but couldn't see a Mac version).

Check on the Nokia software update site for your specific model. Be aware that they release firmware for different regions at different times.
As for upgrading via a Mac, that isn't available as yet.
Don't bother trying through Parallels. I have and it doesn't work.

    If there is a firmware upgrade available for your model of PowerBook, it will appear when your run Software Update and also be listed at http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/
    Then you download the installer and run it. Usually you have to do something like hold down the Command key and Power button while you're restarting.
    Firmware updates don't come along very often. The last one I can remember installing was for my B&W G3. The last firmware upgrades I can see listed for a PowerBook were for the 550MHz or 667MHz G4s back in 2002.
    Is there a specific reason why you're asking about firmware upgrades?

    You'll need to Import them into iTunes, and sync them through there if they aren't in itunes already.
    Yoiu may need to convert them to a playable format for the iPad. If its a video format itunes support, you ncan make playable versions for iPad from within iPad.
    Alternatively if you find a Video App such as Moli Player you can import them into the App through iTunes File sharing as well without having to change their format. Moli player is capable of playing many types of videos and audio formats.

    Report your stolen computer to local law enforcement. You will need the serial number to make a complete report. Contact your insurance to see if they will pay a claim based on the theft.     Seems you bought a very old Mac and it is already at the end of its life.

    I have a Motorola WPCI810g wireless card that i have been using for over a year. Previously in Panther i tried to upgrade to Airport 4.2 to take advantage of WPA, but i ended up having to downgrade back to 4.1 because 4.2 left airport nonoperational. I have been on Tiger for quite a while and only recently noticed that i was automatically upgraded to Airport 4.2, however I do not have WPA as an encryption option (neither when joining, or creating a network). I can only assume it has to do with the firmware on the card but I cant figure out how to update it. I have tried to search these threads but the closest i can come is using Airport Admin Utility to upgrade the firmware on a base station.

NSU connect properly to my phone,without any problem and detect ir correctly.The first time it did, it started to download a 62mB file. But after the download, it gave the message that there is no upgrade available for my phone!! And it continues to give me the same message each time.
    What should I do? Do I have a setting problem?

    Uninstall NSU, and PCSuite, clean registry and reboot PC. Install only NSU and try again. That procedure, sometimes works others don´t. After the upgrade, install again PCSuite.

    I downloaded handheld 4.5 software from Orange UK site. Installed it on my PC.
    Deleted the VENDOR.XML file located at:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\VENDOR.XML
    After that I connected my handheld to the PC and ran Blackberry Desktop Manager.
    And it upgraded my handheld OS to the 4.5.0.52

    Yes as you said you saw proof of them logging in using FaceBook etc, if you give this information to the police they may be able to use it to do just what you said here
    Best to let them do it, could cause trouble if you try doing it yourself
