QUICK HELP :iExpense Approval Notification Customization

Hello Everyone,
Need QUICK Responses. This is Urgent . Please help asap.
REQUIREMENT : I have a requirement wherein I have to add a field "Project Number" on the Top of iExpense Approval notification Page along with the fileds like Expense Cost Center, Purpose etc.
ANALYSIS SO FAR : I would need to add the new field in NtfDetailsAttr.xml region. This page has a right table which points to an attachment and entity map. Most Probably this right table displays the Expense related fields like Expense Cost Center, Purpose etc.
ISSUE : I am not able to figure out the underlying VOs for this. like how the fields like Expense Cost Center, Purpose etc are getting populated. If I can get that I might add my new field to the same region in similar way.

Hi Nidhi,
Kindly check the workflow notification which might have access to an OA Framework Region which is used by the notification. Analyzing the Workflow .wft file would provide some clues on this.
As I understand, you have bumped into the standard notification page which shows up for all notifications.

    Find the PO OAF embedded region in the notification. Then you need to personalize that region and add your required columns assuming the attached VO has those values. Otherwise you might have to do VO substitution also.

  • PO Approval Workflow Customization - Save Validation error

    Requirement- we needed to modify PO Approval workflow to add item cost under notification as an additional column. In this process I have tried saving the standard PO Approval workflow but when doing validate it throws an error.
    I am using Oracle EBS R12.1.3
    and Oracle Workflow Version  2.6.3.5

  • PO Approval Notification to multiple users

    Dear All,
    Currently in our setup PO approval notification is working fine.
    I want to send the final approval notification to other audience who are not there in workflow hierarchy.

    I assume you want to send an FYI notification.
    You can either customize the po workflow to add the fYI notification or you can write an alert that fires when a PO is approved.

  • Deleted PO Approval Notification Accidently, now cant approve Draft. (2007)

    My Customer accidently deleted an approval notification. The PO displayes in the Document Drafts report, but when the user drills down into the draft to add it, they get a message: "An authorization for this document has allready been sent. Document can not be added unless this authorization process is completed."
    I have two users who can approve this documet, with a required segnature of 1 user.
    Any suggestions?

    How? That was my question. How do you get an approval message back after your accidently deleted it.
    The answer below helped. I wasnt awar the entering user could go into the Send portion of the Message / Alert overview window, and re-send the message.

  • Need some quick help - fairly urgent!

    I've just taken over a new job and have been the task of finishing the new brochure for Christmas, there's not a lot to do but a lot of the measurements need changing
    This is the layout I'm dealing with..
    All the boxes have been made in Illustrator
    The text has been done in In'Design and it seems every piece of text is it's own box if that makes sense
    My question is, if I select the whole specification box - copy, paste it into Adobe Illustrator and change the text there, then paste the edited box back into In-Design, will I lose quality when it gets printed?
    I'm worried if I do it this way it may come out blurred? Or am I just worrying about nothing?

    I couldn't find an Illy file in the end and have ended up creating tables in ID to replicate what was already there!
    Didn't take very long and I guess if I didn't do it now, I'd come across the same situation next time!

    There certainly are viable "quick fix" solutions proposed here, and if the dealine is looming and this file never needs to be touched again I might be tempted, but they are only postponing the pain for a file that needs periodic updates, and I wouldn't waste effort on them, myself, when that time can be put toward a proper rebuild now if that's the ultimate goal.

  • Purchase Order Approval Notifications and Multiple Currencies

    All,
    If I have a user who creates a requisition in EUR and then submits the requisition for approval to someone who has a default currency of USD, the workflow notification will show the value of the requisition in both EUR and USD. This is because the ICX: Preferred Currency profile option has been set at the user level.
    However, this does not work for purchase order approval notifications, just requisitions. This makes my management unhappy. Oracle Support indicates this is an enhancement request. However, I have a difficult time believing there is not something in the Oracle apps that allows this functionality in the PO Notification. We are on 11.5.10.2.

    I m facing the same problem wat Ryan has faced,..
    Problem with Recruiters recieving any approval notifications for requisitions where the status change is performed by someone logged on as a Restricted Recruiter. <b>The approval notification never appears in the Recruiters approval page, but appreas in Maintenance page...and in the maintanance page i dont see any option to appove the requiistion</b> The Restricted Recruiter is able to submit the request without any problems.
    I was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction so that I may begin troubleshooting this.

  • Add PO additional attachments links to approval Notification

    Hello,
    I have a requirement: when a PO approval notification is sent, I need to add another section in Notification to list URL Links of all po attachmnets. I am not talking about sending attachments in the email. My requirement is on notification itself which is viewed from worklist. When the user clicks on the attachment link, the corresponding PO attachment should open up.
    I am not sure how to achieve this, the POAPPRV is customized and we are adding customized header and lines in approval notification. But I am not sure how to add a URL link. Please help.

    As far as I know, you don't need OFA extension.
    Can you open the workflow in Workflow Developer and verify that the requisition details are populated using the PO_WF_REQ_NOTIFICATION?
    Depending on your version, Oracle may be using a different package. Find that package and make some simple change to verify.

  • Unwanted leave approval notification mails to Non-Manager

    Hello All,
    I have a situation wherein one of our portal users started getting leave approval notification mails from other employees in that Org Unit. Now the interesting part is he is not a manager and never was. Checked his relationships, substitutes and delegations and every where it is normal and not supposed to receive such mails. Moreover we are not using workflows yet
    Where could we have gone wrong, after so many attempts now my I am gone blank so please do suggest me all tables or customizations where it could went wrong or possibly any silly mistakes that would trigger this kind of problems.

    Here are my settings in RPTARQEAIL.
    Send email to requestor with text HR_TIM_ARQ_REQUESTOR with general notification almost for all.
    But should I rather check the settings for mail to approver instead? Coz one of a non manager employee  is getting approver notification mail such as " your employees in your dept are awaiting for your processing..."
    Can you brief me out on why this document selection radio button could have gone wrong in sending mails to requestor regarding approvals.

  • Missing Subject line for the Approval Notification Mail

    We use CUP 5.3 SP7. We have configured the system for role based approval. We found that the approval notification mail being sent without any Subject line. It's configurable to set the admin mail id, but couldn't find one to set the Subject.
    We get the following content in the mail....

    Can we set it somewhere from the configuration?

    Thx for your reply..But i think you missed my point...Let me try to explain it again...
    When we submit a request, the system triggers a notification mail to the approver(s). And this mail seems to be missing a Subject line... and it's shown to be sent from the System E-mail id we set at the SMTP server config.
    I couldn't find a tab for setting the E-mail format for the first approver  neither at the stage nor in the e-mail reminder configuration.
    Perhaps, setting the next approver will help if i had a secondary approver. But we are using a single stage WF in CUP. Am i missing some config step here?

  • How to hide REASSIGN Button for PO Requisition Approval Notification only

    I have a requirement in which I have to HIDE the REASSIGN button from the PO Requisition Approval Notification page. I realized that this page(NotifDetailsPG.xml) is being used by Sourcing Module too for sending the Approval Notifications. So I cannot directly set the Rendered Property to False for this as this would hide the REASSIGN button in Sourcing Approval Notification too.
    So, how do I hide the REASSIGN button from the Notification page only if the Page is being used as PO Requisition Approval Notification? Can I use SPEL command in this case? Can somebody help me with this issue?

    Thanks for the Immediate Response, I reviwed the Maetalink Note which you suggested, it was stated as:
    Starting from ATG_PG.H.Rollup 4, an enhancement has been made to the Notification Details screen.
    When the user viewing the notification has been granted the Workflow Administrator privilege (through the WF_ADMIN_ROLE preference), then the Reassign button will always be visible, even when the message attribute #HIDE_REASSIGN is set to Y.
    This allows Administrators to reassign any notification when necessary in exception cases.
    But in my case, the user do not have the Workflow Administrator privilege. He was not assigned with any workflow Admin Resps. Is there anything I am missing to check the WF_ADMIN_ROLE preference for a particular user?

  • Trigger email to outlook for PM approved notifications

    I have a requirement to trigger email to outlook for approved notifications. Wheneever there is a PM notification created by any employee, it has to go to approval to his supervisor and once he is approved, the maintenance can create a WO to proceed. How would I acheive this. I know it can be done thru workflow but wanted to check whether I can leverage extended notifications for this function. If yes, what would be the steps. I did configured the extended notifications and set up the background job SWN_SELSEN but nothing has been triggered. How do system know to pick the pending notifications from IW29 ? is it from variant ? please help me to figure out the right way of doing this.

    It's not an standard option, you should develop an ABAP function to send email according the User Status and System Status changes defined for the work orders. You should start with status validations in work orders using tables JEST, TJ30T and TJ02T, starting from AUFK-OBJNR. And for Notifications with table QMEL. Identify a user exit and use this code to send the email:

    Additionally, Workflow provides a more complex functionality for this.
