    Please try the following steps:
    Open the file in Adobe Reader
    Click on File menu - Print
    In the Print Dialog box, select the Printer and then select Advanced button
    In the Advanced print setup, Please check 'Print as Image' (See the Screen shot)
    Click Ok and then Click Print.

  • Illustrator crashes on startup and little help from Adobe support team

    Hello everyone,
    I would like to share here my frustation trying to install Illustrator on a Windows XP machine and the poor support I got from Adobe.
    After download and installing, the application can be launched, splash screen comes, then the main window, and then it crashes with the message "Adobe illustrator CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
    I opened a ticket on the customer support page with detailed information on the error, including the error log. Error signature was:
    "AppName: illustrator.exe AppVer: 15.0.0.399 ModName: sccore.dll
    ModVer: 4.1.23.7573 Offset: 0001b2b6"
    The answer to my ticket was given 10 days (!) later was:

    Which drives to a big page full of various symptoms and solutions in which I am supposed to dig in order to solve the problem myself.

    I've been having a similar problem recently.  Purchased CS5 Web Premium upgrade last month, loaded it, worked with AI a number of times, then all of a sudden out of the blue, I have the same problem as described above.  Message is Adobe Illustrator CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We ar sorry for the inconvenience.
    The little window that displays this problem  has two options: Send error report or don't send.  Here is what is odd: If I choose to ignore the window altogether and not choose either option, I am able to do things in Illustrator.  I can open a file, select an object, change it, save the file...  All with this annoying window floating in front of everything.
    I figured something had gone corrupt so I uninstalled the entire CS5 suite, reinstalled the entire suite.  Guess what... same problem.  Very frustrating.  If it is a fonts problem, my question would be why is only Adobe Illustrator having a problem with it and not the CS5 suite components?
    Any insights would be most appreciated...

  • How to get a response from Adobe Support

    Greetings
    I purchased an upgrade to Photoshop Elements 6.0 for Mac from the Adobe website on August 1st, and the serial number that was sent to me does not work.  I have a registered copy of PSE 3.0, so I assume that an upgrade should be possible, but when I try to enter the serial number, I get a "serial number is not valid" error. I have worked through the various FAQs, to no effect.  So on August 6th I lodged a support case, using the online form.  10 days have now elapsed, with no response from Adobe: the status of the case is "Open - Pending Adobe Response".  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might either get the issued serial number to work, or induce Adobe to acknowledge the problem?

    As an "Expert" you should be able to answer this. I downloaded the trial version of PE6, determined that I could use it, uninstalled it, and bought a new copy from our local dealer (like to buy local). Tried to installed that no less than five times and have never been able to do so. Most of the time the support files will install but the actual app fails to install. One time the install appeared to work, but clicking on the icon or the actual program in Applications resulted in nothing, nada, no response at all. Uninstalled after each attempt. Reinstalled the trial copy and tried to enter the actual serial number off the bought package, but we all know that will NEVER work. (Good joke, Adobe) Uninstalled the trial yet again. Have done restarts, made sure all other program were closed, emptied the trash, made a cup of tea, left the office, did everytihing I can think of to try and coax this ridulous piece of software to properly install. I know it works because the trial version worked fine (before it expired).
    I thought, well Adobe Support should be able to clear this up. Perhaps if I could ever actually get someone on the phone that might be the case, although many, many web discussion seem to suggest that would not happen. I have spent over four hours this week listening to the same three songs on the support line and NEVER ONCE had a live person pick up the phone.
    How do I get this abomination to work properly? The helpful tips that might be contained on this page do no good if one can not install and run the program.

  • Adobe Flash CS6 corrupted the .fla file that I made. Can someone from Adobe support recover my file?

    I work on a brandnew Macbook pro with lot's of HD and memory, Yosemite version.
    I bought Flash CS6 for 700 dollars. It hangs, it unexpectedly quits, but worse, it  corrupts the file i have been working on for an entire day. It makes it 981kb and then says it fails to open it.
    I want to know where can I get some customer service from Adobe. I paid for this software and I want to be able to send a ticket to the the support so they can figure out what went wrong and if they can recover my file. The file didn't even have 70 frames yet. But each frame had a drawings with pencil that are very detailed. So hence my frustration

    1.  periodically save your fla file with an appended version number so that never happens to you again.  eg, yourproject_01.fla, yourproject_02.fla etc.  that policy (saving frequently with appended version numbers) is a good idea with all software, adobe or otherwise.
    2.  to prevent future crashes/hangs, reset your flash pro preferences, Re-create preferences.
    3.  don't force the termination of a flash save unless you have little to lose.  you should allow, at least, 2 minutes or you're likely to corrupt your fla by doing that.
    4.  you may be able to recover your fla by renaming it to a rar and using winrar to repair it.  that's a long shot but occasionally works.

    recently I sent a question via email to tech support and I got a reply. I have got bad replies from creative tech support before and also from other so called 'tech support' but this one just crossed all limits!
    It is insane. Either the guy is absolute moron or thinks that everybody that he deals with is a moron and will accept whatever he will say.
    Does creative have any kind Quality check in their system as to how their support techs are performing ?
    Do they even have any clue what they are telling their customers ?
    Do they even have any clue what kind of damage they are doing to the brand ?
    I also take it as my insult! Who the heck they think they are talking to ?
    Someone please read my question and tell me if it was too difficult to understand ? And Please read their response and tell me if my feeble brain is not able to make the connection between the question and the reply!!

    I am sorry about your experience with support and have forwarded this to the respecti've department. The Audigy 2 NX will sample the signal at 96Khz when recording an analog signal at 96Khz from the Line input.

    Since weeks (or even months) I am not able to start my cc photoshop.
    Yes, I am paying for it every mointh. I have a one year subscription. But what are they for???? To see that I am once again in the situation that my beloved photoshop stopps working again???
    Aftre having the same probmlem for weeks after my installation of the CC  prodcuts finally I got cc photoshop working. I was able to work with it for abaout 6 weeks or so.

    Actually, you can talk to them.  Just not quite how you would expect to.  ( I JUST got off the phone with them myself )
    Call the main sales line at 1-800-585-0774 ( I know, it makes no sense since it's a sales line, but bear with me ) and listen to the options.  They'll tell you the sales folks won't be able to help you with support related issues, but keep listening.  You'll hear the options given that will allow you to talk to the support folks.
    When I called there was about a twenty minute wait, but they'll allow you to input a callback number and your name so you don't have to sit on the line the whole time.
    I got the call and worked with them to resolve my account issue.  ( Which ended up being totally my fault )

    I sent adobe a student verification for my cs6 extended but didn't get a serial number in weeks....what should i do?

    Go to the Adobe website, use the chat option (try to avoid the weekend).
    They are quick to respond and will sort out any problems with licensing or verification of your eligibility.

  • Can't install 30 day trial, Adobe Support is no help

    I've had no help at all from Adobe Support over the last couple days and have grown extremely frustrated.
    I'm trying to install CS6 on my new Mac. I deactivated it on my PC, but when I try to install it on my Mac, I'm told my serial number is invalid. After some research, I've learned I need to contact Adobe about this to do a cross grade, but none of the support outlets are working for me. The phone number says there is no phone support for CS, and the chat is perpetually not available or fails just as I get in contact with an employee. Sometimes it works but I can't answer back even though I can see answers coming in.
    In the meantime, I wanted to install a 30 day trial of CS6 so I don't get too behind on my work, but when I try installing it, I get the message that I need to close Safari first. I've followed all the steps Adobe provides in making sure the application is closed, and it most certainly is, but I still get the message that Safari needs to be closed. When I try to contact Adobe about this, I run into the same problems. This time, chat isn't even offered to me as an option.
    I don't know what I'm supposed to do, and Adobe has done nothing to help me in addressing my issues. Can anyone please point me in the right direction to fixing these problems? I would greatly appreciate it.

    Lindsay Duet I am sorry you have faced so much difficulty contacting our support team.  You may want to try utilizing a different web browser if you continue to face difficulty contacting support.
    In regards to needing to close Safari.  Have you tried closing the process using the Activity Monitor located in the Applications/Utilities folder?  If so then please reboot your computer, make sure Safari is quit, and try the installation again.
    Finally you are welcome to purchase the upgrade to CS6 online.  Please make sure that you choose Mac OS when purchasing the upgrade.  You will want to make sure you are logged into the same account which has your copy of CS5 registered when you make the purchase.  You can purchase the upgrade to CS6 at Creative Suite 6.

  • "invalid address"--solution from Apple support that worked for me

    I have been among the throng who have been frustrated for the past couple of days by not being able to get even free Apps and songs from the iTunes store,let alone purchase anything,since all attempts at  downloading/purchasing or even updating Apps on the iPad are met with a message "invalid address" and a link to update billing info in the store. I have called AppleCare once, and have been in an email correspondence with an iTunes support rep since May 10. After assuring her that this was not a personal credit card problem, she started to work this with me as a system problem.
    First she had me correct my billing info to include Zip+4 zip codes instead of the 5 digit zip code I had entered. She had me contact the issuer of my credit card to be sure they were using zip+4 (they were not). I corrected the address by phone with the credit card company and then corrected it in my iTunes billing account,but I still was not able to get anything from the store since all attempts were met with an "invalid address" message loop.
    At that point I emailed the support rep back to report no joy with her zip code+4 fix.
    I changed my city name to all caps, changed my payor source to none and was able to download a free song, so I knew progress was possible,but still could not buy anything with a credit card or PayPal, both of which had had address corrections to the zip codes.
    Then I got this email fix from Apple support:
    "Please look over your address in the following link:

    Then we will make sure that address matches in the Apple Store and iTunes. I'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.
    1) Visit the My Apple ID website at:
    http://appleid.apple.com
    2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
    3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
    4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
    5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete.     I followed this to the letter--my address was correct in the USPS zip4 site,although they use all caps for everything and I did not capitalize the street name.
    When I logged into the Apple ID site I found they had 1 addresses,one perfectly correct per USPS and another with obvious errors in the street address.
    I deleted the erroneous one,saved the correct one and logged out.
    When I went back to the iTunes store I was able to purchase and download an App for my iPad using my original credit card.
    So making sure my address matched the USPS database, then checking the address in the Apple ID site,then going back to the iTunes store worked for me.
    YMMV--I am posting this because several people indicated they had not even had a (useful) reply from Apple support.

    I am having the same issue....Same address for years - same as USPS - I tried 5 times (3 macs and 2 iPhones) and now i have 5 CHARGES for 1.00 each on my credit card. I took the credit card info off so they don't charge me anymore. How can they charge me yet still not allow me to download free updates and say I have an invalid address? I'm sure I will spend weeks or months trying to get a credit out of these incompetent idiots.

  • I was cut off from the support chat and can't get back on re:  re-installing PS after uninstalling

    I'm using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) and CS 6 from a dvd
    Keyboard shortcuts suddenly disappeared and I was unable to reset them.
    I held down cmd-opt-shift and started Photoshop. Saw "Delete Photoshop Settings file", released the keys, clicked Yes, and let Photoshop finish loading.  Rebooted computer. Still nothing.
    I uninstalled PS, tried to to install from dvd and gave me "The serial number you entered is invalid."
    Contacted Adobe support chat and Naveen gave me a download link.  Still gave me: "The serial number you entered is invalid."
    Then firefox crashed.  Tried to get back on chat and could not and now my only "recommended option" is Forums.  So here I am.  Don't think that there's much anyone can do to help as I have uninstalled PS, but hoping to hear from Adobe support...

    Got back onto chat but have to contact tech support during their PST hours
    to deal with keyboard shortcuts problem.

  • Cant' ftp to adobe support website

    Hello. I'm having a problem trying to ftp supporting documentation to Adobe for
    a web case rrcord I have opened.  I'll paste below the instructions Adobe provided
    in the case record. When I try to folllow the directions, I copy my folder and try
    to paste in the "drop" folder  at website
    I right click my folder on the desk top and select COPY. I then try to PASTE
    into the "drop" folder but nothing happens,  I tried dragging the folder and dropping it
    on "drop" but can't seem to get that to work either. 
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Or if command line FTP is an option,
    what site do I FTP to and what would I use for username and password?

    I spent almost two hours on phone with support on two occasions 
    trying to get this to work. There are hundreds of directories out
    on Adobe's ftp site that look a lot like individual web case directories.
    If I can only upload files how do I get them into a directory named
    'Jake Dunn 181388476' (no quotes of course).
    All I want to do is ftp some files to their "drop"  directory. I already renamed all the files
    so that they include the string "Case_#0181388476......" in the file name  so if I have to
    upload individual files Adobe support will be able to identify them.
    If command line FTP is supported I'd liek to find out how to use it.
    Obviously a lot of folks have uploaded files successfully. I'd like to be one of them.

  • Pathetic support from Adobe.

    Hi,
    I went through a nightmare, trying to get my software upgraded from Master Collection CS3 to Design and Web Premium CS6.
    1) Firstly, I had trouble paying for the damn software through their online store. It failed at checkout and asked me to customer support. After waiting for 30 mins in queue got someone who - after sometime - said that she cannot help. Her answer as that this was a U.S. office to help US shopping carts, and this matter needs to be resolved by U.K. Gave me a U.K. number and I failed to reach anyone.
    2) I tried again to call. This time a gent answered. I gave him the serial number and asked him to check if I am eligible for the upgrade. He replied in affirmative after checking my shopping cart and asked me change the country to my location. I paid for the upgrade and got the order number with download instructions.
    3) Downloading was painful. The 4 GB file stops after about 200 MB and after 5 times locks out the download! The hunt for solution in the extremely unfriendly Adobe site begins! I was asked to send a mail to digital river, which I did. Thankfully someone from the support forum said that I can download a "trial" and use the new serial number.
    4) To my horror the new serial number did not work! Went on chat with a customer support person, who said that it doesn't work because the old serial number was a "volume" license while the one that I had ordered was not. The support person asked if I want a refund. I asked him to process it.
    I wanted to raise a formal complaint and asked for a url where I can raise it. The url link does not have a "complaint" section in it! Adobe seeks input only on bugs, features, piracy and what it wants. I assume Adobe does not want to hear about what users have to complain about!
    I asked the support guy to help me repurchase. The least I expected was someone to send me an email me with clear instructions on how to purchase. He asks me to contact the sales department - which was closed today!
    5) If I try to buy the software again from trials, it goes to the US website.
    This is the only forum, where I seem to be able to vent my frustration.

    Note:
    a) I had already chosen Singapore in step 1.
    b) This doesn't show anything about license type. How am I supposed to
    know? Can't you make it more intelligent to extract what I have from your
    database and stop me from purchasing the wrong one? This is making us
    waste time with refund and support merry-go-round.
    What is the way out?
